its the glen and child of ill omen situation between mykr, with kuros red eyes it was honestly kind of perfect. they were all part of this fancy victorian academy, and are known as the class that mysteriously disappeared some hundred years ago, and its bc of nana. maya does the succession thing and tosses clau into the abyss and everything falls apart. nana is devastated and pulls a xerxes to get an audience with the will of the abyss. she creates for her a chain, the Prince, that lets her rewind back to the day of the succession, and drag all of her classmates into a dimension where time rewinds from the start of the yr to the succession. naturally at somepoint hikaris like “where is my childhood bestie karen :(” and she goes looking for her. and before long she’s able to infriltrate into nana’s dimension. shit goes down from there

im thinking like they eventually do all get out of the dimension, but at the cost of maya staying behind. mykr have this ouughgg super dramatic like “I find you again, promise you’ll wait for me” parting while claudine is getting dragged towards the light and everythings crumbling around them and maya just looks up at her super emo and promises. they land back in the normal world a few hundred years into the future, and then its claudines Get her gf back quest

The fact that no one teaches you about the laws about predators and minors, is a huge issue.

I'm rewatching an old show that has to two with two characters I shipped when I was a minor myself, and while nothing is canonical in the show, I shipped an adult and a minor together because I didn't realize that wasn't okay. I didn't know the laws regarding that sort of thing. There's a lot of experiences I had that were like that. And it reflected onto my real life, I was close friends with a couple adults that were strange and explicit with minors. One of them even lied about their age.

This sort of "hiding children from the truth" is dangerous, and it leads them into situations where they think its okay to be emotionally intimate with adults, in a romantic or sexual way. The two characters were people I likened to my friend and I at the time, not realizing that they were someone who was lying about being an adult.

It is imperative to teach children about laws and examples of grooming, predatory behavior, etc. Not every adult will be predatory towards minors, nor will every friendship will inherently be wrong. But there are many people like me, especially those who struggle to read social cues, who grow up not knowing that this shit is illegal.

Thankfully nothing happened in person between myself and these people, but it could have. I almost met this friend at some point. Be cautious and educated, I don't even know all the laws as an adult. But its important we be aware in general.
