Hi mileven queen!!! Loved vol2 as well- the ily monologue was EVERYTHING AND MORE!!! I just want your opinion on a couple things that disappointed me, hoping you can make me feel better about them 😂 1) I’m so sad they didn’t show El wake up on that table, (and instead skipped ahead 2 days) El tell him she loves him too, and have her and Mike kiss. I feel like that would have been the perfect opportunity for a vol2 kiss 😭 2) The way the season ended so abruptly without much interaction between the 2 of them (I know they’re good, I just wish they could have thrown in another moment, like even just hand holding or something lol) // how do you feel about everything that took place with mileven post monologue?

I'm actually totally good with everything that took place after the monologue!

I mean, yeah, I wish we got a post "I love you" kiss or something (because, lbr, I'm mileven trash all day every day). But there was So Much Happening in the aftermath that I totally get why they didn't have another moment (though Mike putting his arm around El in the hospital when they went to see Max with El resting her head on his shoulder was omgsocute give me all the casual intimacy thank you very much).

Honestly, the things you were hoping for is why fanfic exists. I'm already thinking about some of what I want to write for those "off screen" moments that were hinted at that us mileven fans very much want to see, but just didn't fit in with what story needed to be told or that there just wasn't time for in an already super packed, super long episode.

It's not that you're not allowed to be disappointed, anon - you are! - those feelings are 100% valid. It's just that I get why they didn't have another dedicated Mileven moment after the monologue because, honestly, I probably would have made the same choice if I were the one of the showrunners and was trying to balance everything.
