quick review of some vegan ramen ive had recently!!!
my favorite all around that is a constant go to this spicy ramen by nongshim
i cant handle much spice so its flavorful but theres not much actual heat, its pretty filling for the amount
another type is the mushroom ramen also by nongshim
a solid option for a regular ramen, pretty filling amount
a reaaaally good oneive had recrntly is this omsom chili noodles, the sauce was just okay tbh but the noodles themselves were DIVINE like just plain, the size was...not really filling! i wish there had been more noodles for the price
this bowl by ocean halo was not good really, i just didnt like the flavoring idk
then i tried this box by ocean halo also and the sauce and noodles were good, the vegetable packet was imo unecessary bc they didnt really taste like anything lol, and the tiny seasoning packet i didnt like much but it was filling
i also tried this lentil bowl which was sooo good, my only problemwas that its such a tiny portion >_< like it was good just youdneed like....2 or 3 bowls tobe an actual meal lol

A windy day of highs and lows
I went into the office today after a morning of meetings. It's been more convenient sailing the waters than having to deal with the anxieties of riding the train. There was barely anyone in the office though, but I got to catch up with one of my favorites in person. I wrapped up the last session for my second Research project of the year and had time to submit my conference talk proposal. As with all things, whatever is yours will be yours.
I made my way downtown to head back home, but the wait in the wind and cold was not the business. My threshold for discomfort, especially when things go unexpected, is very low. After learning there was a delay, I scurried inside to grab a coffee and treat myself to an ube cookie. I was already experiencing numb fingers, toes, and sore ears. I regrouped and took the train home.
On a good note, my new glasses from Garrett Leight came in, Gabe made me Omsom bulgogi chicken, and I made it back home in one piece.
