Hello Dr von Raum! Any medical advice for physical chronic pain?

Hello! Unfortunately, I have not found an effective way to deal with my own chronic pain, though I find that distraction can be best; if it's a worse day and I'm feeling up to it playing violin or causing mischief can take my mind off it temporarily, or if it's really bad I just bother Jonny so he shoots me dead and I don't have to worry about it for a while.. Other times I just drink random chemicals, which sometimes makes it better, and other times dissolves me from the inside out!

the way the lotr movies didn't really bother to properly close (or acknowledge) Eowyn and Faramir's story arcs and they just kind of threw them in together at the end

#just for the record yes eowyn's arc mostly closed since she was able to go to battle and got recognized by her uncle #but she needed more than that tbh. also doesn't help that her arc in ttt also heavily revolved around her attraction to aragorn #and they don't really talk abt it but ok. let's say I'm being picky because her character had a mostly satisfactory arc #fatamir is all over the place though?? because everyone around him puts so much emphasis in that 'oh but your dad actually loves you' #so he is sent to this suicide mission despite his own better judgement. and then he FAILS so he never gets #to do what he wants (get his father's approval). but then denethor never shows his so called love hor him. dude literally light the pyre #while his son was still breathing like. ok he's grieving terribly and not in his right mind but???? #and because of this faramir skips the final big battles #so does eowyn and they both juat kind of are left alone to heal. which is nice don't get me wrong truth is i do like them together but #i don't like how we got there because it was lazy as hell!!! and because for eowyn in particular it's sooooo disappointing as an ending. #because she was not typically femenine but then you throw her into this kinda romance that really came out of nowhere #also hate that her wounds just kind of disappear magically like dude. her arm was messed up what the hell #eowyn is my girl and i WILL complain #laura watches stuff

BTW during my nightly nap i had a dream abt horrortale sans...... it was sorta all over the place cause i fell asleep watching youtube so it affected the course of my dream a lot but i think it was something along the lines of him working someplace on the surface and saw me from afar semi-regularly and was like. really weirdly fixated on me. but he was totally nuts about it too like hed follow me around with the sole intention of trying to figure out WHY he was fixated on me and what id done to make it that way. like. obviously there was something mega suspicious about me since he couldnt get me out of his head and also he thought i was the one stalking HIM because i kept showing up in places he went to. like i remember he had some special quiet place near his work where hed go to watch a nearby lake and calm down (super cute) and it was way behind some bushes and shit so it was like a secret for him. but then he went there one day and i was there napping in the grass and he was like ok what the fuck. anyway all in all it was a good dream and i think thats sort of what hed be like, even just regular sans is like that too. also my appearance in this dream was that of my self insert which was neat and also there was a part where he was watching me in secret and i was stressed out and he saw me take my eyepatch off and stab myself in the fucking eye over and over again and he was like. woah Thats just like when i pick my broken eyesocket....... and it was like a whole thing. lmfao

#patxt #and the DRAMA and the STORY i was some sort of a rebel in a very vaguely fantasy kingdom #and basicially the whole thing was that the ruler of the kingdom had unfairly imprisoned people including children because of something idk #and i was trying to free these people. the twist was that the ruler had powers of like jumping realities/reseting time lines? idk how to #call it but basicially each time I succeeded she would do the abra cadabra and boom back to the square 1 + I am in bum fuck nowhere + the #Land and castle look different + everyone's memories r reset too right. #so I was teying over and over again and it was also becoming harder with each time to trick the ruler BUT that's when the polar bear guy #comes in. so basicislly he was like her first general kinda think like u know right hand very cold and strict and hardened by time but also #kept in the dark by the ruler about the horrors and the injustice. and somehow thruout the resets and mt endless tries HE STARTED TO #REMEMBER ME FAINTLY AWAWAWAAAAA that's how u know it's true love *sighs dreamily* and at one point I was sure I am super fucked and that's #the end of me but he actually covered for me and iw as like o_o and as the ruler left he YOINKED me from the balcony edge I was dangling of #and im like ACK and he backs me to a corner and wants answers about my goal but also why does he feel like he remembers me and I'm like #I csnt add reaction pics here but basicially LITERALLY my heart was beating. so I tell him abt the war crimes and he DOESN'T believe me and #is like not angry because he's pretty stoic but hes not having a swag time BUT he let's me go and goes to check for himself and finds that #it's true. and as he goes to the ruler to confront her she is actually in the middle of performing the Thanos snap so it's all futile. but #from that point on he was able to Remember thruout the resets just like me and we started to work together to actually uncover #1 why the war crimes lol and 2 how is she able to reset the time lines and why does she resort to it 3 why can we remember thruout them #so we're working together anf the ruler acrually started to get suspicious of him that he might actually be able to Remember the resets and #since obviously she remembers thruout them too if she found out even ONCE he was helping me it would be super over for us lol. the dream #plot line never got finished but the last thing I remember was me being buried in his arms in a big fluffy warm hug and saying ilys LIKE #GRAAAAAAAGH EXPLDOED THE WORLD EXPLODED THE WORLD EXPLODES EVERYHRING GIVE ME THAT BEAR BACK!!!!!!!!!
