Aloha! I've been wanting to post these for a long time since "On the Way Home" came out! Shot #1 was pretty easy since the cat people were barely moving. All I had to do was animate the ear twitching and tails swaying side to side. I really love animating Susan, Leo and Evan, but shot #2 did take up most of my weekend compared the first shot. Probably because these cats were moving a lot more.The leader asked me to add legs for Susan and Leo and I did so without question. Finally, we have the infamous Mei walking scene for shot #3. I was definitely nervous for this, because this scene consisted of a full-body animation that involves walking, sitting and swinging her backpack. The backpack was the most difficult and time-consuming to figure out. I tried my best to make sure the main character and her backpack were on model. Despite the crazy hours I had to work on these, I gotta say this has got to be one of my favorite project to work for. Every did a great job with their own scenes and the composition team just made our animations even better lol😆. If you couldn't tell, I did the rough animation and cleanup for Mei and the three cat people shown in this video. Aloha and Mahalo for those that watched the short film "On the Way Home"😸!

I'm saved. (sixth and final entry)

I am glad to say that I have finally been rescued and am on my way back to England. My last day on the island was very chaotic to say the least. After Piggy’s death, I spoke to Sam and Eric. Jack has forced them into submitting to him by beating them the entire night, and they had been on watch. Although they were technically a part of Jack’s savages, they provided me with information about what is to happen: the savages were going to hunt me down and one of them had sharpened a stick at both ends. I don’t even want to comprehend what the double-ended spear means, but I can tell it does not mean good things. I hid immediately in hole under a tree, curling up like an animal with nothing but a spear to keep me safe. As the boys were hunting me, they had set the island on fire, I assume to draw me out. Before they found me though, they dropped a boulder on a spot they assumed me to be in. I was very lucky to not be in that spot. Roger, who had sharpened the stick on both ends, found me and we wrestled for a bit before I broke free and ran to the beach, almost running into the sailor that had found us. Even though they had all turned against me, I still took the responsibility of leader in the end. I took the responsibility over Simon and Piggy’s death and for all of the destruction that happened to the island. I looked back at Jack and he looked like he was going to say something after I said that I was in charge, but he kept quiet because I think even he knew that this would not be good for us if the adults were to find out what all actually happened during our stay.

Rocktober Challenge 🖤 Day 22 - song you know how to play/sing

I learned how to play this for Neil on his birthday back in 2020. Almost two years later, it remains a favorite of mine to sing and play. Though I’m slightly partial to the CSNY version from 4-Way Street (btw. still looking for someone to sing harmonies with…), I love basically every version I’ve ever heard him do 💕 Also shout-out to Robert Plant, whose use of the first two lines in my favorite Zeppelin medley planted a seed of love for this song in my heart over a decade ago, before I ever even knew what it was called.
