something i’ve discovered in the course of editing is that “dove” and “dived” are both grammatically correct past tense conjugations of “to dive” BUT the difference is that “dove” is more common in American English/literature and “dived” is more prevalent in British English/literature so i’m curious:
what kind of books (american v. british) do you read most and has it impacted your diction?

Just watched the first two episodes of Fionna and Cake and it’s SO fking good and obviously aimed at the generation that grew up watching the original series.
I don’t know if this is considered a spoiler but I just gotta say…
Simon Petrikov and Haise Sasaki are literally the same person. And the whole 2nd episode of F&C had me cracking up and crying over just how similar their stories really are. 😂🫠

If, lets say, you were to write a story with me as the main character, it would certainly be a tragedy. No. Everyone’s the same, in fact. He’s the main character of his novel, and she’s the main character of her movie. All those that walk this earth are the main characters of their own tragedies. All steal, and from all, something is stolen. We can’t help it. That’s who we are.

Odin’s pathetic like imagine having literally a thousand years to raise a kid to do what you tell them and then they don’t so bad you have to lock them away in another dimension and/or exile them as a mortal to another planet and/or throw them in a dungeon for the rest of their life
