Kpop Idols and the Pokémon They'd Train - Oneus ver.

Trainer Seoho and Mudkip

INTPxINTP

Seoho is a low level trainer (lvl 5) and Mudkip is the first Pokémon he ever received

Mudkip is around level 5 as well.

They are the most relaxed team you will ever find because neither one of them know how to play or train properly yet

They love to battle and train together but they don't take battling very seriously. They think it's fun to battle every now and then because it helps them make friends with passersby but they mostly wander around trying to learn more about their realm and potions

They have never won a battle. Mudkip's abilities are not leveled up enough for them to win anything yet, but they are working on it slowly. Seoho is still a new trainer so he's learning how to push Mudkip to her full potential. They are working on their bond before they work on their fighting skills

All they want to do is befriend everyone alive. Seoho obviously wants to evolve mudkip one day and collect every Pokémon in the pokedex, but he isn't serious about it yet. He just wants to get to know the area and the other trainers before he starts putting effort into anything. He doesn't like the idea of having mudkip hurt other Pokémon but he realizes that if he wants to level up and move on, he must let Kippie do her job and worry about healing later.

Mudkip is basically his pet. They go everywhere and do everything together. They mostly love to play together and go on fun adventures to find berries or items laying around on the ground.

Mudkip's favorite bonding activity is bath time because Seoho gives her toys to play with and makes sure she always smells nice before getting out of the bath

overall, they are both baby noobs and Kippie is Seoho's watercat

Seoho will never actually complete the pokedex. He and mudkip stay besties pretty much all the way through Seoho's career as a trainer. Seoho collects a few new Pokémon here and there but he never actually collects all of them. He collects maybe half of them after a while but he gives up on trying to complete the entire 'Dex and just vibes with all of his new Pokefriends.

Trainer Geonhak and Malamar

Geonhak is a high level trainer (level 75) and Malamar is his chosen main Pokémon

Malamar is level 66

Hak was given Inkay when he was a lower level trainer and never worked to train him or evolve him until he entered his higher trainer level.

Hak decided to work with Inkay and evolve him when he learned that Malamar's personality was different than his own. Having opposite personalities helps both of them grow in a positive direction. He knew that Malamar's personality would challenge him and make him inwards at his own personality.

They don't always get along and their relationship is quite strange: They don't hate one another but they don't love one another, either.

Hak and Malamar have bonding time with one another frequently to try to get to know one another better and to help one another fix personality flaws in a healthy way.

Malamar's favorite bonding activity is play fighting with Hak. While it technically counts as part of his training activities, Malamar loves it when Hak tosses him around and allows him to use his abilities to fight back. Mal is always careful not to use his full force to avoid hurting or killing Hak.

Their win:lose ratio is exactly 50/50: They are not the best or worst team, but decide to use their losses as a way to work harder together.

After a loss, Hak makes sure he tells Mal he's proud of his efforts and tries to find a better plan for their training sessions. He wants to see Malamar become the strongest Pokémon on his team and he will do anything to make sure this comes true.

Even when they have disagreements with one another, they try to work through it and compromise with how training is being handled. Sometimes Hak can go too hard on Malamar and he has learned to recognize when he needs to slow down and ease up before Malamar ends up getting too injured.

Both of them take training and battles seriously but they make sure their priority is to have fun and strengthen their friendship with one another. They want to continue to challenge and test the patience of the other so their efforts in battle don't go to waste.

Hak wants to collect as many other Inkays as possible because he truly loves Malamar and just wants his entire team to be full of these stubborn-headed guys.

Trainer Keonhee x Kubfu

Keonhee is a mid-level trainer (50) and loves to find new Pokémon to train frequently, but he always goes back to his bestie Kubbie.

Kubfu is level 60, so he's close to evolution! Keonhee has raised Kubfu since he was born. Keonhee received Kubfu as a gift from one of his trainer friends and fell in love with the cute little fighter

BEST FRIENDS. THESE TWO ARE THE BEST DUO OUT THERE.

They never have disagreements with one another. Kubfu is very obedient and does as he is instructed, and Keonhee is very cautious about watching Kubfu's body language to interpret when there's an issue that needs to be resolved.

Keonhee and Kubfu are always seen training together. They love to play together and have fun, but they take training extremely serious and their training time is their favorite way to bond.

Besides loving to train, Kubfu's other favorite bonding experience is cuddling with Keonhee for a nap after a long day of training. Nothing makes him feel more energized than a nice nap with his best friend.

Keonhee and Kubfu are extremely smart and strategic when it comes to battling: They have more wins under their belt than loses, but they do still occasionally fall short during battle time.

They know a lot of secrets about other Pokémon, trainers, and about their region of land. They use their secret knowledge to their advantage and always find it interesting when their theories come out to be true.

Keonhee takes exquisite care of Kubbie. He takes better care of Kubfu than he does himself: He is always making sure Kubbie is healthy, happy, fed, and ready for what's next.

Whenever Kubfu is seriously injured during a battle, Keonhee helps him heal before making training more intense for the little fighter. Even though more intense training means working harder and getting hurt more often, Kubfu knows Keonhee is challenging him and trying to encourage him to work harder on his abilities. Keonhee is always cautious about ramping up the intensity to make sure Kubfu stays safe as he grows stronger

Keonhee also feeds him low level candies after every training session so his levels rise slowly and he feels like he's been a good boy during their exercises. It's almost Keonhee's way of apologizing for making things tougher.

Trainer Hwanwoong and Delphox

ISTPxESTP

Hwanwoong is a low level trainer. He isn't completely new, but his skills are not high yet. Hwanwoong is level 19.

Delphox is level 45 and hates working with a low level trainer such as Woong.

Hwanwoong caught Delphox on accident when he using his starter earlier in his career. Delphox was gravely injured when he came into Woong's care and ended up being kept for the long wrong.

Their relationship is very complicated: In training and on the field, they tend to work very well together with minor hiccups and they seem like they are close when off of the field. This is not the case. Delphox and Hwanwoong do not spend time together outside of training or battling areas.

Training is their only way to communicate or bond with one another, and it typically goes over smoothly. Battling is another bonding experience for them, but it only goes over smoothly when Delphox is not being grouchy about Woong's level.

They work best when in training because whenever Delphox is angry, he's able to use his abilities as a stress reliever to calm down and bring himself back to a calmer and more peaceful attitude

Losing seems to be their thing. Delphox has a habit of getting frustrated with Hwanwoong when they are battling and he will simply stop listening to what Woong tells him to do. This leads to Delphox getting injured and costing them their battle.

Though they tend to lose more often than they win, they have won a few of the battles they have entered and Woong has always tried to show Delphox how proud and appreciative he is when Del finally listens to him on the field.

Delphox wants to be let go to a new trainer but Woong refuses to let him go. Woong rightfully caught Del and wants the opportunity to train him until he has hit his highest level available. He is Woong's chosen forever Pokémon

They are both making a conscious effort to better their relationship since Delphox learned that Hwanwoong loves him. They have both been working harder to get along and listen to one another when it comes time to battle because Del learns how excited Woong was to finally find and capture him so long ago.

Their love-hate relationship is actually funny to me because I can just imagine Hwanwoong sulking on the sidelines when Delphox is not interested in listening to what he's saying. Del always regrets it when he's beat up and needs Woong to rescue him, so maybe he'll learn his lesson and just accept that a low level trainer is his caregiver.

Trainer Dongju and Meloetta

ISTJSxISFJ

Noob central. The noobest of noobs. Both Dongju and Meloetta are level 3.

Dongju's starter Pokémon was one he couldn't get along with, so he traded him out for Miss Mellie instead.

These two are extremely unserious about their Pokémon status. Battles and training absolutely are not a priority to either of them.

Instead of battling or training together, they simply walk around the region looking for dropped items and avoiding contact with trainers who want to battle with them.

Before getting started with leveling up and evolving, Dongju and Meloetta just want to hang out and explore the region together. They want to explore what their land looks like without either one of them getting beat up by other Pokémon.

They have a lot of bonding time together! Meloetta's favorite way of bonding with Dongju is through picnics and playing with a small ball. She loves to kick the ball back and forth with Dongju and she is always excited when Dongju gives her berries at the picnics.

They have only battled around 5 times and have lost every time, but they figured they will started training and battling when they feel like they have enough materials to get started.

Dongju hoards items. He's paranoid he will get Meloetta killed and that is the real reason he's hesitant to enter her into battles, even with Pokémon on her level or lower. He doesn't want her to die or get severely injured.

He has about 70 of each potion and he said he absolutely does not have enough yet: Meloetta will DIE if he doesn't have at least 600 of each.

Dongju is slowly trying to work up the courage to start real training but he and Meloetta are okay with what they've been doing so far. They love strolling around and buying more materials when they are able to do so.

Dongju has started taking classes and advice from other trainers who had a hard time starting out and he's preparing a strategy plan to propose to Meloetta: If she agrees with his training strategy, they will start immediately. If she disagrees, Dongju will scrap the idea and repeat until they are both comfortable with the plan of action.

Once he does start training Meloetta, you can count on him to lead Meloetta in the right direction. Once real training starts and they are confident enough to hit the battle arenas, Dongju and Meloetta will be absolutely unstoppable. They will be a well-rounded, perfectly bonded team that takes no heat from anyone. Their win to lose ratio will quickly flip upside down and their losses will come in small batches.

Meloetta will soon gain levels like there is no tomorrow and the Dongju-Meloetta kingdom will grow quicker than either of them expect!

Dongju would be the first out of all of them to complete the pokedex despite him taking actually 16 years to start training and fighting properly.
