santa baby
member: ong seongwu genre: fluff, comedy summary: you take your baby cousin to the mall to take a photo with santa only to find out that the mall santa was someone you knew. a/n: hi i know this is super random, but here’s an unfinished scenario i wrote and found in my drafts from idek how long ago..... LMAO ok byeeee
you’re carrying your baby cousin on your back, making your way into the mall. she was beyond excited about seeing santa for the first time. she was five and her parents (your aunt and uncle) had tight schedules during this time of the year. you started babysitting her this year, and she grew an attachment to you.
she’s heard many stories about santa and how he leaves gifts for good people around the world. the last few weeks you’ve witnessed her cleaning up after herself, brushing her teeth after every meal herself, and eating all her veggies. it was a miracle itself that broccoli went down her throat.
“i was a good girl so santa is going to get me the my little pony that i want, right?” she asked you as she hugged your neck even tighter at the thought.
you smiled and nodded, “yup! santa gives gifts to good kids and his elf asked me whether you’ve been good.”
“really? you told him how i ate broccoli right?” she was enthusiastic as her little feet started kicking.
“i told him all about that and how you clean up after playing your toys now,” you told her.
“you’re the best. i love you,” she snuggled against your cheeks before planting at kiss on it.
“i love you too,” you chuckled.
“say what do you want for christmas? does santa know?” she asked you, “you should sit on santa’s lap with me and ask. good people get gifts right? you’re so good! you’re like earth’s angel.”
you laughed even louder. what was she saying? “i’m not earth’s angel, honey,” you told her but she only disagreed even more.
“you have to sit on santa’s lap and tell him what you want. please, for me?” she pouted and gripped onto your shirt, begging you.
you agreed only to get her to stop attempting to choke you with your own shirt, but when santa was in view point, she began jumping up and down on your back. tears almost filled her eyes as she was overwhelmed with so much excitement. she was almost like a fangirl seeing her idol for the first time, a sight you might be seeing when she gets older.
when you put her down, she started running to santa. luckily, santa’s shop wasn’t open for business yet and there wasn’t a line, but it wasn’t good that she was running off on her own. by the time you got to her, her arm was already clinging onto santa’s leg.
“santa! it’s me,” she cheered.
“ho! ho! ho! look who we have here,” santa smiled down at her and picked her up.
“i’m so sorry, san––” you stopped and almost choked when you saw his face when he turned around to look at you, “oh my god?”
what the hell was ong seongwu doing in a santa costume? isn’t he... i don’t know too young looking?
“y/n?” ‘santa’ called your name in his out of character vocals and he quickly caught himself, “i mean, ahem, y/n?”
“wow, y/n! you know santa? i can’t believe this!” she cried out and hugged him even tighter, “i didn’t believe her but you even know their name. i’m so happy.”
“of course. i know all the good boys and girls and all the naughty ones too,” he said as he glanced over to you with a smug look, to which you rolled your eyes at.
seongwu was always like this, making small remarks only to get you annoyed. he’d say it’s not his fault that you were just so easy to tease, because... you were. you don’t know how to react to most of the things he say to you.

Though you had initially wished for the two months to end as quickly as possible, now that they were just about up, you wanted quite the opposite. This place had become a haven for you, very different from your regular office, and you weren't quite ready to leave this workspace yet. Honestly, when you first arrived, you thought that you were going to be miserable. You were sure that, much like your other office, people here would also flock to Seongwu, due to his outgoing personality and looks. You thought they would ignore.
But they didn't. On your first day there, they were equally excited to have both of you there. They told you about how their last tools programmer had left them in a bit of a lurch, and they were glad that your team's project was far enough along that they could borrow you both for a bit. They walked you through what they needed, and you were to work with Seongwu on a plan of how best to tackle it all before the end of two months. And, even though Seongwu was there with you the whole time, they never treated you differently. This was how you thought that work was supposed to be, and you were glad this place lived up to that.
Speaking of Seongwu, being around him on the daily, even living with him, hadn't been that bad. It was actually quite bearable. Of course, at first, the two of you had danced around each other, trying not to step on the other's toes with your new living arrangement. The company put you up in a small apartment complex near the work site. This made it easy to walk to and from work, saving you both the awkward car rides. It was quaint, the only downside was that the small studio apartment lacked room for two beds further than three feet apart. This always put the two of you near one another. It took some time to adjust to having another person in your living space. Small things like nightly routines and morning routines had been a bit rough at first. But after the first week, you both learned how to steer clear of each other. Hell, you even went so far as to leave for the office at different times.
Yet, some time in the middle of your second week rooming together, things began to change. It had started when Seongwu asked if you wanted to go and get coffee with him before heading off to work. You were exhausted and needed your coffee that day to keep yourself going, so you didn't decline his offer. And that was how you started spending more time with him. You would go to get coffee together on most days. Coffee became lunch, and soon, you were even spending your evenings at home together. No longer did you ignore each other, typing away on your laptops. You'd plan dinners together, catch up on shows that you both watched.
Though you had been apprehensive at first, thinking that he was just doing this to get more dirt on you, you soon realized it wasn't the case. He actually wanted your company. Slowly, you learned more about Seongwu, though not to the point of knowing his entire life story. You did learn of his hobbies though, what he did on weekends. He learned the same about you. Within a couple of weeks, you were speaking comfortably with each other, something that never would have happened at your office back home. You would ask each other for advice, for suggestions, and having this newfound comradery with him was something you didn't want to leave behind.
The frequency in which you spoke of Seongwu to Jongin didn't go unnoticed. The male had teased you that your crush was back in full swing, and you had vehemently denied it... at first. Yet, as he started to pick out how this was the age-old, 'falling in love with your enemy' trope, you had a hard time believing that it wasn't true. You had found Seongwu handsome from the beginning. Even when he had been picking on you, you tried to find the good in him. Now that he was so kind to you, you felt those feelings come back. However, you knew that a change like this wasn't enough to really show he was different. And... well, he was out of your league. Girls like Yena were more his speed.
On a whim, you tried to drop some hints here and there to gauge his interest towards you. He seemed to humor you, but it wasn't anything out of the ordinary. You felt like that was all there was to say on the matter. You may have liked him, but there didn't seem to be any signals on his end.
Still, this didn't stop you from noticing things about him, from falling for him more. You found his little quirks cute. Like the way, he would furiously blink when he was confused or trying to focus on something. Or the way his tongue would slip past his lips when he was buried in concentration. The way he'd smile at you when you came back with his mid-day coffee. They were little things, and as a girl that lived mostly through dramas and manga, they made your heart flutter.
On your last day, the office threw a party for the two of you. They wanted to send you off with a massive celebration... as well as an excuse to drink. The party had started off at the office but moved to a nearby restaurant when the team got hungry and needed something to eat. You were seated across from Seongwu, who was having a great time chatting with your coworkers. You did much the same, your eyes making contact periodically with Seongwu. And halfway through the night, with more than enough alcohol in you, you realized something. When the two of you left in the morning, when you headed back to your actual jobs, the chances of Seongwu treating you as an equal... felt low. Once he was in a place where people loved him, respected him more than you, he'd probably just go back to treating you terribly.
The thought was fleeting, but it had always been in the back of your mind, now only brought to the forefront thanks to some alcohol. You knew that a significant change like the one between the two of you wasn't meant to last, but you also didn't want to think that Seongwu was putting on an act either.  Still, even in telling yourself that, you started to doubt this friendship you had with him. It made you uneasy that night, and you had never wanted sleep to last for longer than you did that night.
The pair of you woke up at a decent hour the next morning, though alcohol and a slight hangover definitely made mobilizing stressful that morning. You were now in the car, on your way back, but Seongwu couldn't quite shake how eerily quiet you had been. You had been pretty open with him during your time together. You even went so far as to read to him memes or stupid little posts you found online. But on your way home from the party last night, you had been a bit closed off. He figured that you were just a bit too tipsy, leading to the lack of conversation, but now that the only thing that filled the void between you was the music from his playlist, he knew something was up. At first, Seongwu wanted to give you time, time to open up to him yourself, but the silence was excruciating, so he spoke first.
"So, are you going to tell me what's wrong, or do I have to weasel it out of you?" Seongwu stated, eyes momentarily looking at you while the two of you sat at a red light. Your body stiffened slightly, surprised by his sudden declaration. In the time that you had spent together, he had learned to read you like an open book, and it was now clear as day to him that something was indeed wrong.
"N-nothing-" you started, but when you saw the pointed look he gave you, you knew that Seongwu didn't believe you. Were you that easy to decipher now? You knew that you had significantly let your guard down around him, but did he know that much already? And if he did, was there any point in hiding it? Probably not. "You... you're going to find it silly..."
"Why don't you try me. We've lived together for two months now. I think I know when something is silly versus when it's a real concern to you. I promise, I won't make fun of you," Seongwu vowed, giving you a smile in hopes that you would reveal to him what was bothering you. His eyes were back on the road as he drove, but you knew he was listening, and gently you bit your lip.
For a moment, you had considered lying to Seongwu, saying that there was something up in your friendship with Jongin, but you had a feeling he would see right through that. Seongwu was extremely smart, his outward appearance aside. He would see right through it. And part of you thought, maybe if you told him what bothered you, if you were honest, perhaps the two of you could officially clear the air. Maybe you were worrying about nothing after all.
"Are we... are we going to go back to the way things were when we return to work?" you asked quietly, eyes trained on your lap. Though you wanted to clear everything up, you couldn't bring yourself to look at him.
"What do you mean?" he inquired, confusion evident in his voice.
"Seongwu, you've been extremely kind to me throughout this entire trip. We got to know each other, we spent a lot of time together. But, even I know that people's relationships don't change this quickly," you started, finding it within yourself to explain the situation fully. "We're adults after all. We can't just go from hating each other to being the best of friends in only two months. I couldn't really be a person that you would be interested in being around for the long term. You can tell me that, you know. I'll understand."
Seongwu refrained from showing any type of emotion on his face. But it wasn't because he felt like he was caught in an act. But instead, he felt guilty. He had a feeling that you might have thought he had ill intentions this entire time. He supposed it was the time that he was straight with you as well. "Can I be honest with you?" he asked.
"I've got nowhere to go, Seongwu. I'm stuck in this car with you for the next five hours. If you've got something to say, this may be the best time to do so." Your words came off as a joke, but you weren't wrong. Where could you go?
The smallest smile formed on Seongwu's lips, knowing that he now had the floor, and he had to do his best to be clear, concise, and not screw this up. "When I first heard from my lead that my transfer was going through, I was beyond excited. I liked my team a lot, and they were amicable people, but many of them were set in their ways. Even if there were a solution for what they were working on, they would often choose the traditional way, the long form of doing it to ensure accuracy. This isn't bad as long as time allows for it, but it didn't leave me with much of a job. I wasn't innovative. Conversely, I had heard of some of the innovative techniques that you were applying in your project, and since it was fairly new, I thought it could be a place for me to also make my mark, do something I would be proud of."
"I had asked a lot of people on my team about you, people that had worked with you in the past, and they couldn't stop singing their praises about how kind and fair you were. And after I met you, you definitely lived up to those expectations," he said with a chuckle. "You were knowledgable in the few times we talked, and I was looking forward to working with you. However, I was overeager to show the team what I could do, and I was also overeager to fit in."
Seongwu let out a gentle sigh before he continued. "I spent a lot of time talking to some of the people that had some pull, and they really liked my ideas. I was excited, but when I heard them talk about how you hadn't started implementing these things, listening to them wonder what you were working on instead, it struck a chord with me. I thought it didn't sound right, but the more they spoke about it, the more I believed it. I didn't know about the social climate of the team. I didn't realize that everyone, though they worked well together, was also rather cliquey."
"When those teammates spoke badly of you, I took it to be a known fact. I didn't think it was just because they were upset with you for not going out with them. Or that they had said all of those terrible things to you. So I took on teasing you like they teased you, thinking that it was familiar. I didn't know about those other things. I should have known my words were too much, but I got to the point where I couldn't stop. We became hostile towards each other, and I didn't mean for that to happen," he admitted, seemingly uncomfortable now.
"So, when we were supposed to work together off-site, I couldn't help but be a bit worried. What if you didn't pull your weight? Or what if we didn't give a good impression because we were too busy arguing? But then, I saw you working with everyone. I saw you doing your job in the ways that everyone said you hadn't demonstrated. The more I saw this side of you, the more I realized I was wrongly informed. I treated you poorly when I should have reassessed our situation at our office. So I made an effort to make it up to you while we were here. I know it doesn't make up for all of that time I was an ass to you. I know I'm a jerk, but I do want to work with you. Though, after hearing this, you probably just think I'm crazy," he said with a dry chuckle.
Your brain did its best to follow Seongwu's thinking. He was definitely in the wrong, in your opinion, but you also knew where he was coming from. Your team did have a lot of cliques. Everyone was often fighting for the limited hiring resources, and that didn't necessarily mean everyone was your friend, unfortunately. Seongwu had tried to navigate that social climate in the best way he could. He chose the simplest route so you couldn't blame him. It did hurt to know that they thought those things of you, and that, for a bit, so did Seongwu. "I don't think you're crazy. I understand what you were thinking..."
"You know you can just call me an asshole, right? I know you've done so before. I've heard you," he teased gently. "Truly though, I am sorry for the way I treated you. It was wrong of me."
"I don't think you deserve that in this case," you told him. "I do accept your apology to a degree, but it's a lot to take in at once."
"And I understand that. So it's okay if you end up not accepting my apology at all after you work through all of the information I just told you. But, there's also a bit more..."
"There's more? Seongwu, if you keep spilling your guts to me like this, I think we'll need an official counseling session," you shot back, hearing him chuckle. You knew that he was glad that you could still make a joke after all of that. He knew you were trying.
"I like you."
"I know. You've been trying to make up for all of that these last two months. We can't be instant friends or something, but we can try working it out."
"No, I actually like you. As in I have feelings for you. I realized I did when I got upset by how much you were talking to Jongin during our off-site work. I got jealous," Seongwu confessed. "Look, don't make this awkward okay. I know you feel the same. I got the hints... I just, I didn't know how you'd react after finding out why I've been treating you so terribly..."
So your hints weren't ignored after all. "You're the one that made it awkward confessing to me like this, Seongwu. I don't think I know how to respond to that right now."
"And you don't have to. I wanted you to know because I wanted to be honest with you about everything that's been going on between us. Even if I'm not smooth about it. Even if it is awkward, I just needed you to know. Take some time to think about it, alright? You don't need to make up your mind right now," he reassured you. He saw you gently nod as the conversation slowly came to an end...
========
"So, I noticed that some of your old friends don't stop by anymore," you pointed out as you finished typing up one of your task summaries before closing it out. "Not only that, but Yena has been coming to me for all of her tools questions. What did you do, Ong Seongwu?" you teased turning around in your chair to look at the male next to you.
He chuckled, the action as attractive as ever, as he looked up from his own keyboard. "Honestly, I think part of the problem is that I started dating you five months ago, but I wouldn't say that too loudly. Some people might think that I'm calling them out," he replied, getting one of your smaller plushies lightly thrown at his arm.
After that car ride back, where the two of you had thrown everything out in the open, things had gotten a bit awkward. Seongwu continued to be kind towards you, much to the confusion of all of his friends, and you were just... uneasy. There was suddenly a lot of attention to you, and you weren't sure if you liked that.
There was one thing that you both noticed when you got back, however. You missed each other's company. You had spent so much time together for those two months you were away, to suddenly not be stuck to each other, to not be living together, it felt weird. You were the first one to bring this up with Seongwu, and though you thought that he might reject the idea of hanging out again, he didn't. The more time you spent together, the more apparent that it became that it was more than just each other's company that you enjoyed. And though it was awkward, as everything between the two of you seemed to be, you started dating.
"Don't blame this on me, mister. You brought this on yourself," you retorted.
"Maybe I did. But you know what I know is your fault?" Seongwu asked, watching as you gave him a quizzical look. Your boyfriend leaned down and dramatically pointed to the top of his head. "The bump that I got when you threw that plushie at my head the first time. It was there for days! I accept apologies in the form of kisses, by the way."
You scoffed. "First of all, that was almost eight months ago. Second of all, it was a plushie, you silly man. It isn't going to leave a mark. And if I'm to be honest, you deserved it back then!"
Seongwu lifted his head, the most massive pout forming on his lips. "I did not deserve it!"
"You did! Do I have to remind you how much of an ass you were?"
"You don't! I made up for that. Now kiss me and apologize for this!"
"I will not!"
The pout on Seongwu's lips only threatened to grow as he looked at you, knowing that you couldn't resist his puppy dog eyes. But when it seemed like it wasn't going to work, he was about to protest, only to have you lean in and give him a quick peck on the lips, leaving him speechless. Your relationship wasn't like the ones that came out of the dramas you watched or the manga you read, but in a way, you found the person that was best suited for you...

Dreaming [M]
Summary: it hadn’t initially been in your plans to sleep with Seongwoo whilst he was dreaming, but you didn’t hesitate much in meeting his desires either.
Characters: Ong Seongwoo x female reader
Genre: ghost au
Warnings: smut
A/N: Okay, I know this idea is really out there. I said it as a joke to a friend who dared me to go ahead with it, and well, it’s not going to be everyone’s cup of tea. I tried to make it really tasteful and put Seongwoo in charge of more than the reader is to compensate the undertone to this idea. There is obviously sexual content – not too descriptive like last week in Culmination, but I want to warn you all the same that reading is up to your discretion.

Seongwoo had had an exhausting day, you could tell. As he lay in his hotel bed, he longed for sleep to take him quickly to a restful state so he could prepare for the next day. You hovered patiently in the corner of the room, waiting until he appeared to have fallen asleep, his breathing as steady as the man’s in the adjacent bed was now. Taking a deep breath that you didn’t really need, you then approached his bed, climbing onto it hesitantly.
“Daniel?” he called out without opening his eyes, tilting his head in the direction of the other bed in the hotel room.
You froze then, wondering if this was really such a great idea. You were new to this type of assignment, and it made you stop like a deer in headlights. If you got caught and didn’t complete what was asked of you, the Madam of this hotel would be extremely displeased. That idea was so unfathomable that you took a steadying breath and continued up the bed to his side. He seemed calm again from what you could tell, and once you gently placed yourself down beside him, he sighed in content.
You felt like that was a sign of acceptance, laying there staring at the handsome man for some time. You had succeeded. The Madam wouldn’t get mad now.
Being a spirit wasn’t an easy existence. Sure you didn’t have matters like hunger, exhaustion or toileting to concern yourself over. Sometimes you humoured yourself in doing the tasks all the same, just to feel more alive than the nothingness that usually consumed you. But like the world of humans, there was a hierarchy within the spirit realm. Someone always held power higher than yours, and for a wandering spirit like yourself, you definitely belonged to someone. Madam took you in when you needed her help in the confusing days after your murder, and she made you feel special and cherished. You hadn’t known at the time it was her initiation into making you complete sinful acts such as this.
“All you have to do is sleep with him; it’s not a hard task Y/N.”
Your eyes had gone wide with the room number she had slipped across the table to you. “Sleep as in h-how?”
“I’ll leave that up to his imagination,” she had mentioned with a small smile playing on her lips. You knew that look never meant something easy. All the same you couldn’t not do it. You feared the unknown realm of what happened if you didn’t answer her requests. Whilst you disliked the feeling of your existence meaning nothing, you still had one. And that was why you were precariously nestled next to the brunette, his arm somehow shifting towards you. Your eyes widened as you remained still, feeling his arm slide under your body, his hand soon resting on your back.
He was touching you.
How on Earth was he able to do such a thing? You were stunned, this was your first time feeling the weight of a living person upon your body since your demise, and you had to admit it was an experience. Unlike when you were alive, there was a tingling sensation on the small of your back where his fingers pressed in and soon you were instinctively moving closer, Seongwoo’s body turning to yours.
He hummed lightly with your body up against his, and you cursed quietly before closing your eyes and nestling in further. It felt good to be in his arms. Moving in his slumber, he buried into your neck, his lips brushing over your bare skin there. You gasped, why was he kissing you?
I’ll leave that up to his imagination. Madam’s sentence was now making sense as Seongwoo’s body moved on its own desire within his slumbered state. You hadn’t done anything but lay down beside him, and yet you knew this wouldn’t be where he ended things either. You might have felt naïve when you walked in here earlier, but the confidence in his touches and the small hums he was breathing out made you fully aware just how far this could go.
Normally you’d be disgusted to do such a thing with a stranger. In fact, the idea of being something of a succubus scared you, and since death you hadn’t ever thought about sidling up near a human any longer than to pass on a message from other dead people, let alone for things to get this intimate.
But there was something in the way his hands moved to the hem of your singlet and started lifting it up, or how his lips were now moving up your jaw line that held you accountable for the fact that you climbed into his bed. And his body warmth was so addictive that you wanted to feel all of it. Reaching out to cup his face in your hand, you smiled when he nuzzled in, your face moving closer to his. Your lips were almost on his now but you hesitated, wondering if it would be right to steal a kiss from such luscious lips. Whilst he was uninhibited with his movements, you were for the sake of an argument far more alert than he was. And you didn’t want to do anything to ruin what he was doing on his own accord.
Pressing softly into him, you captured his moan in your mouth as soon as he kissed you back. It didn’t stay gentle for long, his arms were gripping at you and there was a passionate need now rolling out over you, clouding your mind from any further worries as your hands went to his hair. He was breathing heavily, and he spun you both so you were now on top of him, your lips falling from his to taste more of his skin, trailing down his chin and onto his neck. He moaned again and his hips bucked up into where you sat across him. You could feel his arousal and his need for this to continue further and so you wasted no time in shifting down his body, kissing your way down. His pyjama pants were growing restricted with his hardened length and you moved them down enough to free all of him, Seongwoo gasping and throwing his head back onto his pillows. You licked at your lips and then glanced up at him.
If you hadn’t known he was asleep right now, you would have been certain he had clamped his eyes shut with the pleasure he was feeling from your hand on him. You pumped him slowly and a guttural groan left him, your eyes snapping to his roommate. You had honestly forgotten about the other man until then, but he was completely out to it, flung sideways on his bed and grinding his teeth. Another moan left Seongwoo that brought your attention back to him.
“Do you really want this?” you asked him quietly and he was nodding, a pant leaving him as you readjusted your hand on him.
“Please,” he breathed and your eyes widened, you hadn’t expected him to talk to you. It wasn’t long before he was panting again under the pressure of your hand and how it was moving up and down his erection, his hips moving up into you every so often. You wondered how far you should take this with him being this turned on, should you use your mouth, or something else? Your deliberation showed in your lapse in movement and he groaned, reaching out for you. His eyes were open now and you froze. Whilst they were taking you in, you could tell there was something unnerving about them, as if he was only seeing this world of arousal you were giving him, and not anything else around you both. He smiled as his hands made their way to hoist you back up from where you were, his lips crashing down on yours when your bodies were level again. He moved you under him suddenly and you could feel him grinding into your thigh, his hands fumbling around with the shorts you were wearing. He grunted when he got them down. “You’re beautiful.”
“Y-you can see me?” you asked and he nodded.
“Where did you come from? You must be too good to be true,” he stated and you bit at your lip. Should you tell him what you were? You didn’t really have time to answer as he soon entered you with a swiftness that made your response an elongated moan. Your entire existence felt as if it was on fire and the colours of the moonlit room brightened with every thrust Seongwoo made into you. You were both moaning together now, his staggering breath and the power increase of his rhythm were telltale signs he was close to climaxing. Your body was just as ready, which seemed so surreal to you to feel all of this. It made you heart soar, as if you were as close to being alive again. You weren’t aware of the tears in your eyes until he was done with his final thrust, your bodies collapsing together with the exertion of the session.
“That was something else,” he murmured into you and you smiled, brushing the hair out of his face. He stilled soon after, and you sighed when you realised your lover had left this dream behind and moved on to another. It was almost cruel how connected you had both been and then to lose all that. But you couldn’t help but smile at his peaceful state either, being helpful in easing some of his stresses. You felt like tonight you held a purpose. Yet you weren’t about to go around sleeping with all humans to continue this feeling. In fact if you had it your way, you’d only be with him, the man who had enraptured you in such a short space of time.
You stayed with Seongwoo all night, the sun barely rising before an alarm signalled around the room. Glancing over your shoulder, you saw Seongwoo’s phone flashing with the wakeup call and he groaned heavily beside you. His arms were still around you, and you became desperate to keep them there, but as soon as his eyes opened, the magic was gone. The tingles on your side ceased and you shifted before he moved through you to end the incessant sound in the room. Sitting up in his bedding, he rubbed at his face and then glanced under his blankets.
“How the…” he started, and a grin slowly spread over his face then. “That was some dream.”
You couldn’t help but smile at his reaction. He remembered you.
When you returned to Madam’s office she seemed very pleased. “You did exceptionally well. Your assignment is complete.”
“Can I ask why you knew to send me there?” you asked and Madam smirked, shifting her glasses on the bridge of her nose, the chain attached to them dangling beside her face.
“My dear, how else do you think people have wet dreams that stay with them for some time? You can’t tell me the human mind is that clever to make up something so real.”
You blushed, nodding your head once. To Seongwoo you were the woman of his dreams. As for you, well you hoped to be able to star in them again some day soon.

Summary: You’d always kept that part of yourself hidden, or so you thought. But what if you weren’t as clever as you thought, and someone had seen it all?
Characters: Ong Seongwoo x reader
Genre: fluff / magic / witchcraft au
A/N: Welcome to my first story for Frightful October!
Word count: 1,717
It happened again. You couldn’t explain it, rationally at least. No one would believe you, and no one had. When you told your bestfriend she just looked at you  skeptically before laughing it off, thinking you’d consumed too much caffeine. It was then you decided to not breathe a word of it to anyone else, surely it was just your imagination, your head playing tricks on you. You couldn’t actually freeze time or make things move on their own.
You laughed nervously at yourself as you turned around, making sure no one saw you as you picked up your backpack from the desk, quickly gathering the rest of your belongings and shoving them inside. Pushing the chair in you closed your eyes briefly, taking a deep breath as you headed towards the exit.
Were you not careful enough? Did someone see? All these thoughts were running through your mind as panic started to set in. Your heart started to beat faster in your chest the closer you got to the large wooden doors of the library, the hairs on the back of your neck standing up as you suddenly felt like you were being watched.
“Y/N”
You stopped as you heard your name. With a deep breath you turned around. Lifting your head higher your blue eyes were met with his brown ones, a smug smile on his face.
“You forgot these” he said, handing you a few loose sheets of paper that had fallen out of your notes. “They looked important. Why are you reading about mag-”
You snatched them from his large hands then, cutting him off mid sentence. Heat rushed to your cheeks, a light blush suddenly colouring them.
“Yah Seongwoo, who said you could read something that doesn’t belong to you?” you questioned him. He continued to smile at you, his eyes washing over your flustered appearance, clearly enjoying watching you squirm.
It had been this way for as long as you’d known him. Ong Seongwoo, the boy next door. He took every chance he got to annoy you, to pester you and make you have a complete meltdown. You had no idea what made you so fascinating to him, you rarely hung out during school times, being in different cliques and all. You saw him every now and then when you were home, a habit of living next door, but other than that he always seemed to pop up unexpectedly every time. He shrugged at your question, his hand now moving to readjust his backpack.
“You seemed in a rush to leave and i noticed your notes. I figured you would need them back. I was only trying to be nice Y/N. I am a nice person you know” he responded, staring at you incredulously trying to get his point across.
You sighed. There was no point in trying to argue with him, he always found a way to outtalk you.
“Thank you” you simply said. “You still shouldn’t have snooped”
“I couldn’t help myself, it’s not every day you read about people moving things with their minds” he teased, his arms now flailing about as he got animated “I mean how awesome would it be. Wouldn’t you like to? You could get yourself a snack without having to get up-”
“Seongwoo!” you whispered hastily scolding him, your own hands reaching out to stop him from making a scene. He just looked at you, the smirk appearing once more.
“What?”
You stared at him, unable to believe that he’d ask you that, especially since the topic you were both talking about wasn’t your everyday conversation starter. Let alone you were currently still in the library, a place of silence and Seongwoo was anything but. He waited for your response, the smirk still spread across his face, his eyes now forming half moons as he realized he’d wound you up. “Nevermind” You sighed deeply in defeat as you turned away from him and made your way to the exit once more.
“What it’s not like you can actually do magic Y/N. Or can you?”
You froze for the second time in a matter of minutes. You fought with yourself on whether or not to continue the conversation, knowing very well that he’d most likely only said that to rile you up again. He didn’t actually believe what he’d asked. Or did he? You stood contemplating your next move.
“Are you going to answer me?” You could hear it in his voice then, he was getting impatient with you. He teased you or worked you up, but very rarely did he get impatient. You turned to face him again, finding yourself playing into his games, even though you didn’t want to.
You couldn’t form a proper response, you watched as his face contorted from impatience, to confusion, to something else entirely. Something you’d never seen before.
“How could- I mean why would..I don’t have time for this”
That was when it happened. Again, but this time you were in control. Your hands reached out as if you were pushing him away. It all happened within a second. Everything around you had now frozen. You scanned the scene in front of you. Students at their desks mid flip through a book, some having a conversation but nothing was coming out. And then you turned to Seongwoo. He was still glaring at you, though he would know no better. You walked over to him and lightly touched his hand.
“I’m sorry” you whispered as you finally left the library and his never ending questions.
Sitting in your room on your bed a few hours later you found yourself in a state of restlessness. You had never knowingly used your magic on someone before, yes at times your emotions were out of control and things froze or exploded by themselves, but you hadn’t known that would happen.
This time however you had done it with intent and that didn’t sit well with you. You were always told by your grandmother to never harm another living soul, that the magic in your veins was a gift, and one to treasure. Technically you didn’t harm him, he wouldn’t know, he would just think you left really fast, but that didn’t change the fact that you had invaded into his mind.
Suddenly you were shaken out of your thoughts as you heard a loud banging coming from your front door. Getting up from your bed you rushed towards the door, the banging increasing the longer you took to answer it.
“Hold on, I’m coming!” You shouted.
Turning the knob as you began to open the door, you didn’t get very far as it was pushed open further by the person making the incessant noise.
He walked straight into your house, taking the handle from you and closing the door behind him quickly before he turned back towards you.
“Ong, what are you doing here?”
Your eyes washed over him in confusion and panic as you noted his appearance. He was breathing heavily, as if for some reason he couldn’t calm down. He stood there for what seemed like an eternity, just watching you. You started to become uncomfortable, not used to being scrutinized by someone, let alone Seongwoo, who had still yet to say why he was here.
“Why do you always do that to me?” he finally said, his voice much quieter than you anticipated.
“Pardon?”
“You know what I mean. You always brush me off, one second you’re there and the next you’re not”
“I don’t know what you’re on about..”
“Don't play dumb with me Y/N. You know exactly what I mean” he moved closer to you then, the space between you almost non existent “You think I don’t know what you are? What you can do? What you do to me?”
His voice became pained then, one hand reached for yours, as the other found  its way to your cheek. The air around you seemed to disappear as you struggled to breathe. Was this really happening? Seongwoo pulled you into him, his brown eyes pleading with yours to hear what he was trying to tell you, to show you.
“W-what do I do to you? W-what do you think I am?” you stuttered.
He smiled then.
He leaned down ever so slowly, both hands now cupping your cheeks as he gently grazed your lips with his. Your body froze momentarily before you realized what was happening. Ong Seongwoo was kissing you. And you were kissing him back. Your arms reached to wrap around his neck as you moved to deepen the kiss, your body now alight with desire, but before you could lose yourself completely to the feeling, a loud smash startled you both.
Letting go of each other you turned in the direction of the noise to find the hallway mirror shattered into pieces, nowhere near where it had previously hung.
“What just happened?”
“I think we broke the mirror”
“I.. we didn’t do that..” you stumbled, realising that yes, you could have done that. Your emotions were heightened.
Seongwoo chuckled softly as he pulled you into his arms.
“You’re a witch Y/N. That’s what i -know- you are”
“Wh-” He shushed you with his index finger, to tell you he wasn’t done talking.
“And you drive me completely crazy. I’ve known for years, why do you think I always pester you and enjoy working you up?”
Your mouth hung open then, and he continued to chuckle at your lack of observation.
“I needed to find proof, to make you use your powers, and to make you see that I don’t think you’re a weirdo. That you can trust me”
You were completely and utterly shocked. You had thought you were always careful, that no one had seen you, but he had seen you. Seongwoo, the boy next door who continuously pestered you, who always found ways to make you flustered, it all made sense now.
Your vision began to blur as tears filled your eyes. How had he known? How did he not find it unbelievable, instead he just accepted it. Accepted you, how you were entirely.
“Really?”
He nodded happily, his arms wrapping around you even tighter.
“What can i say, you’ve put a spell on me”

“Person with the most fingers down by the end of the game should give us a consequence.”
“First! Seongwoo-hyung, never have I ever had to flirt with a lady to get my drums repaired for free.”
wanna one masterlist
---
The Underground seemed to be one of those places that looked increasingly better as it aged. Its rugged look, the walls thick with posters of their past performers and the doors looking like a canvas to multiple graffiti works, gave it a hip vibe that was appropriate for the audience that regularly fills this dimly-lit place to the brim.
However, the past few weeks brought significantly fewer people to the known hangout, with it being the official rehearsal venue for BAM’s Reunion. The owner so graciously offered a discount, knowing that the mere fact it was being used by BAM for their historic reunion would bring in more customers afterwards.
Ong Seongwoo now sits alone in the far front of the Underground a few minutes after they concluded their rehearsal for the day. His drumsticks propped on both of his ears as he looks at his phone, an urgent look on his sharp features.
“They just really had to break on me,” he muttered under his breath as he continuously scrolls through the search engine, glancing at the broken part of his pedal.
“Hyung, are you coming with us?” Woojin calls from the door, ready to leave with the rest of the band.
“You guys go ahead. I need to get my drumset fixed,” he said with a grunt without looking up from his phone, pointing to the loose pedal of the bass. “There’s gotta be a repair shop that’s open around the clock right?”
“I’m sure Hyuk-hyung’s shop is still open around this time.” Woojin suggests, glancing at his wristwatch.
“Ah, right! Why didn’t I think of that?” Seongwoo stands up abruptly, causing his drumsticks to topple onto the floor.
“Ey, hyung. Take it easy, you still have tomorrow.”
“And what? Listen to Sungwoon nag at me for being a delay?” Seongwoo replies as he collects his belongings and the broken parts of his drum set. “No, thank you.” he jogs to the door, overtaking Woojin who just laughed and shook his head at the older male, understanding the reasoning behind his panic.
“Don’t wait up for me!”
“We won’t!”
---
At the repair shop a few blocks away, a young part-timer struggles to stay awake through her job. It was her first midnight shift; the multiple coffee cans and the buzz of the television in front of her were the only things keeping her up.
“Can we close up? Who even goes to a repair shop at midnight...” she rubs her eyes and stretches in her chair as she addresses her brother who was strumming away at the backroom of the shop.
“Yeonrin-ah, most gigs are at night,” he explains. “Who knows if there ends up being a musician or two who needs us to their rescue.”
“Oh look here’s one now.”
Yeonrin straightens up at the sound of the door chimes and whips her head towards the direction of the sweat-stained man with a soft smile and comely features. He reminds her of a vampire, and she strangely thought that must have been the reason he enters the shop at such an ungodly hour.
“Is Hyuk around?”
She shakes her head. “Do you need any fixing?” she inquires, observing his whole stance and eyes landing on his drumming fingers on the tabletop with changing rhythm. He’s skilled. She notes. “On your drums?”
That stops him from finger drumming, and he whistles with awe. He leans on the counter, forearms atop and crossed. “Whoa, how’d you know that?”
He tilts his head, lighting accentuating his sharp features. Their distance makes her breathe his smell. Aqua mist. Strange. He smells clean and fresh, contrary to his look.
“Oh. Just because,” she trails off and raises her forefinger, “Black shirt - too thin for this weather. Rugged look. Rhythmic tics on the counter and,”
He raises an eyebrow with expectation. Ong Seongwoo is getting hooked on the girl’s careful analysis, “And?”
She blurts out her frankness leaning on the countertop too to mirror his stance, “An insufferable character. At least for me.”
He snickers and slaps his forehead with his palm . Seongwoo totally thought she’s about to drop a pick-up line or two. “Insufferable character? Now that’s the first time someone has ever said that to me,” he continues to stifle his laugh.
“See. That’s what I mean. Drummers tend to show off. “ she remains unfazed.
“Yeonrin, be nice!” her brother calls warningly from the back room. She just rolls her eyes and turns to Seongwoo with a fresh and accommodating expression as if the girl who welcomed him poorly just a few seconds ago was a completely different person.
“Anyway, is your repair urgent?”
Seongwoo doesn’t reply for a few moments, he shakes his head and smirks as if catching himself in deep thought. “Yeah. I’ll need it by tomorrow actua--”
“I’ll call Hyuk oppa over. He’ll be here in a few. Sit down please.”
“Yes, ma’am.” Seongwoo bows, his cheeks still stretched with a smile of interest. He walks backward to the chair in front of the multitude of instruments hung around the shop.
BAM’s ‘The Reunion’ garners all the top spots in today’s trends
The midnight entertainment news’ low buzz still fills the place by the moment Seongwoo was comfortably seated. In an attempt to strike up a conversation, he threw in a comment about the headline. “That’s still on the news, huh?” and to his surprise, Yeonrin apparently had a lot to say about the famous band.
“I don’t get this hype over BAM. What does BAM even mean?” she said with a disapproving look.
“Beats and melody. 불안에마음.” Curious as to where this conversation was going to go and concluding that she does not recognize him from anywhere, the mischievous Ong Seongwoo leaned forward, his elbows prodded on top of his knees. “Not fond of them?”
She shrugs. “I don’t know. It just seems like they’re over-hyped. Even the buses are covered with their ‘coming soon’ posters, or whatever those are.”
“Have you tried listening to their music?”
Seongwoo was growing more and more amused by the second. Here was a girl who had not a single idea that he was a member of the very band she was blatantly judging. From who else can he hear such objective critique, right? He figured it was like an undercover evaluation.
“It’s probably just the same old lyrics. Repetitive melody. That might be why the public is into them.” she assesses, eyes turned away from the screen. Seongwoo’s eyebrows move to signal her to continue. “Seems like everybody blew up when they announced that reunion. Do you know how packed this shop was that day? Extremely packed. People see them on the TV and they just flock like birds.” she chucked her thumb to the screen now behind her and rolled her eyes.
Seongwoo was about to chime in, ready with his good-natured defenses but he figured he’d let her finish, letting the girl spill out her endless train of thought for nearly fifteen minutes. She talked about her schoolmates and how invested they were with the said group and how it was almost all they talk about. Yeonrin mentioned the recent controversies, saying they were publicity stunts. At one point, she even hummed a familiar tune from the radio, ranting about how many times a day they played that one song and how it is inevitably stuck in her head, to her annoyance.
It was funny how people claim not to be fond of a particular subject and yet know so much about them. However, instead of becoming offended, Seongwoo laughed at some of her comments, feigning agreement with some of them and even dissing some members here and there, to Yeonrin’s entertainment.
“I heard the lead vocalist doesn’t shower. But their drummer has got game.”
“Yeah right. You’re being biased.”
Seongwoo laughed uncontrollably at this comment, almost falling off his chair.
“It’s true! Their drummer makes sick beats.” he slaps his thighs, trying to contain the rest of his laughter.
“What?” Yeonrin glared at his overreaction. At this point Seongwoo was wiping the tears from his eyes brought by bout of laughter that just passed.
“You know, you’ll probably like their music if you try to listen to the rest of their songs besides that one that’s always on the radio.”
“Eh.” she shrugged. “How great could it possibly be? Don’t get me wrong, if you’re a fan, that’s great I guess.”
“Your call.” Seongwoo stood up and approached the counter once again. “You’re the one missing out on our hard work.”
“Our--” Yeonrin was cut off by the sound of the door chimes and a tall, lean man, who was sporting a stubble and a cap, walked in.
“Seongwoo-yah!”
“Hyuk-hyung!”
The two men quickly greeted each other with a hug and fist bump, the older male patting Seongwoo’s shoulders like a brother would.
“How’s our star drummer doing? Is BAM in prime condition for the reunion?”
“BAM? Drummer?” Yeonrin connected the dots in her head and pointed a weak finger at Seongwoo who had a wide smile on his face, obviously enjoying her current predicament.
“Uh-huh. You didn’t tell me Seongwoo was the one who needed the repair, Yeonrin.” Hyuk turned to the counter, his hands on his hips.
“I.....didn’t know.” Yeonrin sunk into her seat, eventually crouching down and slowly making her way to the back room in her daze and embarrassment, and to the confusion of her boss.
Seongwoo just restrained a smile.
--
“Thanks, Hyuk-hyung.” After almost an hour, the two returned to the shop after the repairs have been done in the Underground itself. “I wouldn’t have remembered you were open for 24 hours if Woojin didn’t remind me.”
“Ey. Don’t mention it. This is exactly the reason why we decided to have a midnight shift.” Hyuk stepped in the shop followed by Seongwoo who looked around subtly for a certain part-timer.
“Where do I pay?” Seongwoo asked.
“Over th-- Yeonrin?”
“Yes, boss?” a muffled voice from the back room resounded.
“Come out here and take care of Seongwoo’s payment. I’ll be leaving.”
Laughter from Yeonrin’s brother, who was already made aware of the situation with Yeonrin’s frantic storytelling, was heard followed by a scuffling sound and an “Ow!”
“I’ll be right out!”
Upon hearing the girl’s response, Hyuk bid goodbye to the younger male and left the shop premises.
When Seongwoo turned back, Yeonrin was still in the doorway of the backroom with a calculating expression on her face. “So…”
Seongwoo raised his eyebrows, waiting. “Is it too late for introductions?” he teased.
“...this is awkward.” Yeonrin rushed to the cash register without making eye-contact with the customer who was ready to poke some fun.
She prepared his receipt in silence until, with both palms on the counter, she finally mustered the courage to speak. “I feel really bad for everything I blurted out. I could be very judgmental, sometimes…”
“I found it very amusing.” Seongwoo had his arms crossed in front of him, a habit he seemed to have whenever he was even remotely entertained. “Thanks for the feedback, anyways.”
Yeonrin face-palmed at the boy’s successful attempts at deepening her embarrassment. “I’ll pay for your repair, if that makes up for my mean chatter...”
"Not enough."
"Not enough?!" Yeonrin’s eye bulged out of their sockets. She thought the man was going to take advantage of this chance to get a new drum set, something she would not think twice about cursing him for. “You know I’m just a student in university, right? I only work part-time and I--”
"My ego got wounded, you know. Need that to perform. Listen to our songs and I’ll have that confidence back again." Seongwoo tried to haggle with her as if they were talking about currency and not human emotion.
“Seems like you didn’t lose it anyway…” Yeonrin whispered through gritted teeth. “Fine.” She grabbed her phone from the countertop, scrolled and clicked repeatedly until she showed Seongwoo the screen and clicked ‘follow’ on BAMs streaming site. “I’ll get to it. Happy?”
“Very.” he put up both thumbs. “You’re welcome in advance.” Seongwoo winked at her before leaving the shop with a bounce to his step, leaving a baffled Yeonrin to figure out the strangeness of the recent encounter.
--
Usually, when people come across celebrities, they would immediately post their encounter on their SNS accounts, and how they were star-struck, lucky even to come across a star on a very normal day.
She’s no different if it was a normal encounter, except this time around it wasn’t. It was a rather unpleasant encounter. The worst meeting one could possibly arrange. She blamed her unneeded opinions.
To make up for it, she fulfilled her promise of listening to their songs, no matter how much it stroked her pride wrongly.
She liked their songs upon giving it a try, but she isn’t about to chase Ong Seongwoo just for him to give his satisfied smirk, and she’s content with just being another anti-BAM (no matter how sparse those people are) in his eyes. She completed the end of her deal, so she really shouldn’t feel a little bit guilty about the vicious words she uttered right to his face.
The door chimes in again at such an ungodly hour -- a deja vu. Right, then he’ll enter with his confidence. She takes a peek on the doorway, finding Seongwoo striding in with a smirk on his face just how she pictured it.  A vague feeling sets in that it wouldn’t be their last meeting.
“Broke your drum again?” she greets condescendingly.  He hums in return, dragging the stool positioned at the far edge of the counter right in front of the cashier.
“If yes, does the free drum repair still stand?”  He rests his elbows on the counter, chin resting on the back of his hand.
“Suck it. That was deducted from my salary. “ she huffs out and shooes him away as if any other customer would actually enter in that hour, a quarter past 12.  “I already listened to your songs. And I doubt you’re back to get your drum repaired. So?”
“I need visual evidence.” he brings out his iPhone X, rests it beside the cashier and plugs the earphones on the jack. She sighs and takes the earphones, but Seongwoo grabs the other pair, inserting it to his ear. He smiles innocently, nudging her to press the play button already.
“I needed sound evidence as well.” She rolls her eyes.
“We could have just played it on speaker.”
“Clearly, you don’t understand the charm of Bose earphones. It does wonders.” he says as a matter-of-fact, fingers flicking airily, chin raised and eyes fluttering coyly imitating that of a connoisseur.
She had the intense urge to smack Ong Seongwoo right there and then, to hell be his Bose earphones and Iphone X. “So does that mean you need some auxiliary for your band’s music?” she strikes  back, a little proud over her reply.
“Maybe your ears might miss out on our awesomeness. Woojin’s bass is insane, something speakers can’t finely deliver.”
Mentally, she nods in agreement. She experimented on listening under different platforms, but she isn’t entertaining the idea of feeding Seongwoo’s already large ego.
Seongwoo scoots closer to not overly stretch the earphones cable. Once again, aqua mist. She likes his smell, and it distracts her from fully listening. Thankfully the earphones really did wonders, bringing out the music’s color better.
Seongwoo hums along, using the wooden countertop as his makeshift drums and some other paraphernalia that he found sitting -- a metallic tumbler, two ballpens and a lost triangle.
He makes it a duty to present Yeonrin his favorite songs, skipping along some tracks because they don’t have enough time to actually go through the whole discography.
Close to two and a half hours later, and a sore ear, Seongwoo finally closes his phone and unplugs the earphones. Pushing his phone to his back pocket, he tilts his head to Yeonrin who was pressing a finger on her ear’s tragus.
“So? It blew you away right? Right?” his tone rising with enthusiasm.
“It was….” mind blowing. exhilarating. jaw-dropping. amazing. ...
She gulps down. There is something hard to shake off against Seongwoo’s glittering eyes -- bewitching and taunting all at the same time.
“Too loud.” she concludes. Seongwoo’s eyebrows crease, a little crestfallen about her sudden remark.
“You forgot that your volume was a hundred. Clearly, you’re a drummer.” she snides.
She wins this time.
He groans, checking his phone and setting it lower this time. “Okay. One more time!”
“Maybe some other time, Ong Seongwoo. It’s closing time.”  She unhinges the lock on the counter and leaves to flip the sign to ‘closed’.

ong seongwoo + “coffee” please and thank you!! have an amazing day💕💕
Tumblr media
Hurrying back from where you were just almost an hourbefore, you wanted to literally slap yourself on the face when you realized youleft your book on the bench you were sitting on at a pretty crowded park. Whatmade you even irritated with yourself was the fact that there was barely anyonewho even told you that you forgot your book as you left
“Geez. Of all days.”you huffed, frowning as you stomped your way back to the area where a fountainwas also located from where you were, based from your memory
You looked around to find the bench you were seated on,turning around to try and see if you could find your book
Alas, you found it.
And yet, it was in the hands of another person.
One young man, somewhat looking very immersed in the bookwhilst reading through and sitting on the bench, literally had your book anddidn’t even bother on finding the rightful owner.
“Be nice, be nice.”you mumbled, taking a deep breath as you took the courage to walk over to theman, who didn’t seem fazed by your arrival
“Ahem.” youcleared your throat, and yet he didn’t budge as if he hadn’t heard anything
“Um, excuse me, sir.”you bent slightly to wave your hand in between his face and the book, earninghis attention as he looked at you in question
“Yes?”
“Um, yeah. I’d like toask if that book is yours?” you raised a brow, smiling as you tried yourbest to be nice
“Oh, I found thishere. I tried to look for the owner, but no one responded. So I ended upreading through the first chapter. I’m now on the second.” he shrugged, grinning as he turned to look at the book again
“Sir, that book ismine.”
“Yeah, and I’m Romeoall of the sudden and you’re Juliet.” he mocked, but in a way where hetried to put it off as a joke than an insult
“You’re kidding, right?” you crossed your arms, frowning
“I wish I was. Youseem very eager on getting this book. Say, how would I know you’re not lying tome?” he stood up, putting the book to his side as he played off his wordswith a smile
“I mean-“
“Is your name writtenanywhere here?”
“Darn it.” youthought, and you ended up just shrugging since he seemed to question you toofar.
“You know what, fine.Keep the book.” you waved everything off and just gave up, turning andtaking a few steps
“Unless…” he saidas you tried to walk away, but you paused and looked at him in appall
“Unless, what?”
“Unless, you agree ongetting coffee with me? And the book, will be all yours.” he chuckled, making you burst out a laugh and shake your head in disbelief
“Really?”
“Yes, my treat. Butlet me finish the first five chapters first while we’re at the café.”

Be My Prince - Ong Seongwoo
Tumblr media
helloo~~ I’m back at it again with the prince imagine EXCEPT it’s a different type ! keep reading to find out what kind i’m writing! i hope you all enjoy it ~
______
your kingdom was small and quaint
it wasn’t really a place where many people resided.
but it was the kind of kingdom where people enjoyed living, for the pure fact that they have the freedom to do what they wanted
except for the illegal stuff of course.
but your parents were very kind and lenient to their people, making sure that they were satisfied.
you as the next in line for the throne were also very observant about the people around your town,
and since your parents were very open they let you walk around freely, even sometimes without a guard.
one day you were walking around your kingdom when you spotted the tall light house in the middle of your village with a strange light inside that wasn’t radiating from the lighthouse itself.
curious and a little nervous you walk up to the lighthouse and enter, walking up the stairs slowly you notice footsteps walking around the top room of the lighthouse.
“i thought no one was allowed up there?”
whispering to yourself you started to walk up the lighthouse as quietly as you could
reaching the top you noticed that the door was slightly ajar, peeking in you saw that the light to the room was on, but no one was inside.
before entering you reached into down inside the little bag you were holding and took out a dagger
hey, you were going into a place that had suspicious noises, better to be safe than sorry
opening the door you walked into the room and looked around
“is anyone here?”
as soon as you said that a male figure stepped out from behind a bunch of boxes in the back of the room.
he was wearing regular clothing but seemed a little shocked to see you standing in front of him
“Aren’t you the princess of this kingdom? Why are you here while holding a dagger?”
taking a moment to process the situation you awkwardly laughed while looking at the male
“okay well what are you doing here ? don’t you have a home to get back to? why are you just here in the lighthouse?”
the male cleared his throat before bowing politely towards you
“my name is ong seongwoo, and I came from another kingdom, I heard that life was better here so I wanted to start anew”
you nodded your head in response listening to seongwoo
“i’ve never heard the name ong before, that’s so cool! anyways, well i can help you out if you want? no one is actually supposed to be up here”
his eyes lit up and he smiled cutely after what you said
“really?! I would appreciate it so much”
“yeah of course! just follow me”
you both started walking together in silence, you thought it would be better to explain the situation to your parents so that they would be able to help seongwoo get a place to stay
“which kingdom did you come from?”
seongwoo cleared his throat and just looked at you shyly
“i don’t really want to say, it brings back bad memories”
nodding your head you decided to lay off the topic, maybe your parents would be able to get more information about seongwoo
and to your surprise, your parents were actually really supportive and accepting to have seongwoo stay at the palace even though they didn’t know him at all
let alone you didn’t know him at all either ! but you were glad they did though because you would feel bad for giving someone hope of having a safe place to stay only to kick them out again.
over the next few days you were able to get to know a little bit more about seongwoo!
and by a little
I MEAN JUST A LITTLE !
he only really got to know his past but not up the point about which kingdom he came from
all you really knew about seongwoo was that he was very polite and caring!
also really weird because like as soon as you got to know each other a little more he became really comforting to be around
like legit one time you were walking around the palace with some people behind you telling you what your schedule was the for the day
when you started hearing slight yelling and footsteps behind you
and when you all turned around you spotted seongwoo coming up to you with the goofiest grin on his face
“how are you today my lovely princess?”
“seongwoo i swear to god i told you to just call me Y/N one more time and I’ll fight you legit”
you gave a slight glare to seongwoo just to see him laugh it off while walking closer to you
“i’ll be ready for that fight then”
he winked at you and your heart did a mini flip which confused you because you never had felt this way before?
you even tried talking to your parents about it but they gave you a really vague look of happiness??
anyways one time you and seongwoo were hanging out at this secluded part of the castle ground gardens just walking around and talking when you revealed something about his past that confused you? or just made you really curious
not that you weren’t already curious about his past though
while walking he suddenly said something that seemed as if it was accident
“i just wish i didn’t let so many people down with what i did. i was in such a big position that the whole town must be disappointed in me”
this instantly made you look up at seongwoo
he was suddenly not the cute, polite, weird guy you were getting to know
but now he was someone that was was clouded in mystery
“seongwoo?”
it seemed as if he was suddenly snapped back into the reality that you both were in and he shot a soft smile towards you before muttering something and walking away
“i’m sorry i can’t keep this up any longer”
after that really weird conversation, whenever you saw seongwoo, he looked very troubled
like even when you talked to him he eyes seemed to be glossed over and his mind seemed to be in another place
there was one day especially where you felt like you were starting to put the pieces together that maybe just maybe seongwoo was starting to get homesick
and if he was, that would mean he would eventually go back which would made you a little lonely around the palace again.
while thinking these thoughts one night, seongwoo knocked on your door
opening it you noticed he was holding to little mugs of hot chocolate while he gave you a little smile
“i know that you wanna be alone at night but i just wanted to give you some hot chocolate and say good night~”
you grabbed the hot chocolate and was expecting seongwoo to walk away but suddenly he pulled you in for a hug
“oof watch it seongwoo i almost spilled my hot chocolate on you!”
he laughed a little before fully hugging you
“i don’t i would’ve minded if you spilled it on me”
after he left like legit after the hug he said goodbye and left
your heart was beating as fast as you found seongwoo in the lighthouse
and thats when you realized
while looking at your hot chocolate
that you liked seongwoo and no it wasn’t beause he brought you hot chocolate and then pulled you in for a hug,
you were going to miss seongwoo a lot, and you were going to miss the wya he acted towards you, how it seemed to be like a breathe of fresh air to you
something that you didn’t want to just pack up and leave
so you kept this to yourself: you liked seongwoo
even though you thought your little theory was right, seongwoo dropped someone when you walked him back to his room
picking it up you noticed it was a small photo of seongwoo as a kid
he was wearing a crown, and royal clothing.
but you didn’t recognize the colors of the clothing
deciding it was best you took it to your parents and your father recognized it right away
“i should’ve known from the way seongwoo acted and talked, he was a part of a kingdom that fell a part a year ago.”
hearing this from your father you instantly had to go to seongwoo for confirmation.
so the next day you decided to go to seongwoo’s room and knocked on the door
“what’s up Y/N-”
as soon as he opened the door you put up the photo he dropped in front of his face
“seongwoo, are you the prince of a kingdom that fell apart a year ago?”
you could hear his loud sigh as he took the photo from your hand and nodded his head
he invited you into his room and you both sat there in silence before he continued to talk
“i used to be the prince before there was this whole big ordeal in our kingdom, the whole town thought it was my fault so i thought it was best that I should leave. little did i know that my leaving of being the prince would ruin the kingdom.”
looking at seongwoo he looked so heartbroken about the whole thing that you decided to give him a hug
“seongwoo it’s okay, it’s not entirely your fault, i’m sure that even if you stayed as the prince, things would’ve turned out that way. it was probably everyone’s fault. not just yours. you’re such a hardworking person that you would’ve helped the situation a little bit more.”
you heard seongwoo sigh again before wrapping his own arms around you
“thank you Y/N this really means a lot to me”
after that seongwoo became his cheerful self at the castle again!
although more well respected now that he was known as a used to be prince
this wasn’t stopping you from liking him though as now it seemed as if you both were flirting with each other more now
or at least to your helpers who followed you around most of the day
talking to you parents about it, they seemed on board
legit like you mother looked like she was waiting for this to happen
so one day you find seongwoo and take him to the garden where he low key spilled his feelings to you,
“so seongwoo i have a little proposition for you”
this made seongwoo turn away from the flowers to make eye contact with you
“what’s up Y/N?”
you took in a deep breath before taking seongwoo’s hands in yours
“okay listen here, i’ve ended up really liking you a lot ever since you gave me that hot chocolate so i was wondering,,”
before you could even finish seongwoo pulled you straight into a hug and you could basically hear his sigh of happiness
or at least you assumed it was happiness because as you pulled away he was smiling really cutely at you
you laughed while still holding his hands
“alright mr rushing i wasn’t finished yet!”
he nodded his head and made a cute gesture for you to continue
“i was wondering if you would be my prince? you know, stay here with me as my only prince that i really like and care for?”
“Y/N why are you even asking me that question when i just pulled you into a hug? I obviously like you too~”
you both laughed but you lightly hit seongwoo on the shoulder
where he pretended to be hurt but legit you just tapped his shoulder
“i wanted to say everything in one sentence so it would sound perfect but you cut me off-anyways”
you pulled out a small plastic crown from the bag you had and placed it on seongwoo’s head
“there! now it’s official! you’re my prince now and i’m your princess!”
seongwoo basically picked you up in his arms and started spinning you around
after he put you down he gave you a big smile
“i promise i won’t let you down Y/N”

Word Count: Roughly 2k
Parts: 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 / 5 / 6 / 7
“So, how was the date?” Nayoung asked as the two of you stood side by side in the cramped bathroom; she was leaning against the sink, watching you remove your makeup intently.
“Can you not stare a hole into my temple, please?” you retorted. Your mascara was proving to be difficult to remove. “And it wasn’t a date. It was just me paying back on a favor.”
“Y/N, the moment you came back, your hair a mess, your clothes covered in grass, and that,” she jabbed at the bruise blooming on your collarbone, “it was confirmed a date.”
“Well, we did do some,” you paused, “date-like things, but it wasn’t a date.”
“Well, what are those date-like things, Miss Y/N?”
“Yeah,” you said softly, leaning yourself closer in to him, “you can kiss me.” With those words whispered, Seongwoo closed the gap between the two of you. At first you didn’t register the kiss. It was something foreign to you. After years of no practice, you seemed to have forgotten exactly how to conduct yourself. As your brain goes into overdrive on how to react to the kiss, your body freezes.
“Nervous?” he murmured against your lips. You could feel his lips forming a smirk, brushing fleeting touches against yours.
“Shut up,” you mumbled back, ‘before I change my mind.”
“Don’t have to tell me twice, princess.” He leaned back in to capture your lips, bringing his hand up to cup your cheek. You shut your eyes tight, slowly finding yourself reciprocating. Seongwoo gently pushes you back until you feel your back hitting the mattress. You moved your hands to the back of his neck, trailing them upwards to thread into his hair. It seemed like all of your perfectly practiced self control had flung itself out the window the moment you realized exactly how long ago you last kissed someone, and it maybe also has to do with the fact the asshole that was trailing his hands down your body also happened to be a very good kisser.
Your mind was a flurry of trailing thoughts, hazy with ideas of where exactly was this night leading. His lips moved against yours languidly, breaking away every now and then, only to return to their previous motion after hearing you whine. Seongwoo was still hovering over you, but he shifts his legs, wedging one between yours. The hand that had found purchase on the curve of your neck moved its way down, fumbling with the buttons of your dress. You didn’t notice exactly what he was doing until he reached the third button and the cold suddenly hit your bare skin.
“H-hey, what are you doing?” you asked nervously, pushing yourself up. Seongwoo didn’t seem to hear you as his hands continued their ministrations. “Stop it!” you exclaimed, shoving his hands away from you. Your face started to heat up, and you quickly blinked away the tears that threatened to fall from your eyes. “Of course,” you thought, “of course this is why he asked you out.”
You began to button your dress back up with trembling hands. “If you just wanted an easy lay, you could’ve asked another girl out,” you said, surprised by the steeliness of your voice. Once your top button was refastened, you stood up, smoothed down your dress and glared at Seongwoo. “I can’t believe your actual nerve, Ong.” For a split second, you almost thought you saw fear cross his eyes, but you weren’t an idiot. This was Seongwoo you were dealing with; that guy knew exactly how to play with someone’s heart, and you thought yourself way too smart to fall for his ploy. “Take me back to the school,” you said. When you realized he was still rooted to his seat, you uttered, “Please,” your voice wavering slightly.
“Hey, Y/N,” Seongwoo finally got up, “princess, I didn’t mean to go that far.” He tried cupping your cheek, but you turned away.
“But you did go that far,” you snapped, “I’m not just something you can use as you please, jackass. I actually thought you were interested in me and wanted to go on a date, but no, you’re just after my goddamn fucking virginity!” You were raging at this point, all the angry words that jumped around your brain came tumbling out of your mouth. “Now I’m here feeling like an absolute idiot knowing I’m just another one of your trophies! I fucking hate you!” Those last four words were accentuated by you jabbing your pointer finger into his chest.
“Y/N,” he said as he grabbed your wrist, “can you just listen to me?” You tried pulling away. “Y/N, please?” You continued trying to escape from his steel grasp. “Y/N!”
“What?” you spat back, “I’m not one of your playthings, Ong. Your lies won’t work on me.”
“But I’m not going to lie to you.” You scoffed at his statement. “Y/N, listen, you know how many girls I’ve been with? A lot.”
“You’re not really helping your case.”
“No, hear me out. Look, I’ve been with a lot of girls, but none of them make me feel the way I feel about you.”
“Wow, how romantic,” you mock-swooned, “I really want you to just,” you paused before deadpanning, “ fuck off right now.”
“You know how goddamn scared you make me? I can’t act around you like I do with other girls, okay? You see right through me. And I’m sorry I went to far, but you drive me absolutely insane. All I could think about when I was kissing you was-”
“What?” you asked, “Stripping me of my virginity? Wow, I really want to punch you in the face right now.”
“No. I was thinking how, for once, I actually felt something besides lust while kissing you. I swear this is the gayest shit I have ever uttered in my entire life, and Daniel will roast me into oblivion. But,” he took a deep breath, “Y/N, I really like you, and I know you’re pissed beyond my comprehension right now, but I’m telling you the absolute truth. I am 100% head over heels attracted to you. I’m attracted to the way your brows furrow when you’re solving a problem in math. I’m attracted by how your tongue slightly sticks out when you’re organizing files at work. I’m attracted to how intimidated you make me feel, how you actually call me out on the misogynistic bullshit I accidentally end up doing or saying. I am wholeheartedly attracted to you. Just give me another chance to not fuck it up?”
“What did you say?” Nayoung asked, now that the two of you were lounging in your respective beds.
“I told him if he really liked me, he’d pull a page from every other asshat who went after me and just leave me alone,” you grumbled, shifting under your blankets.
“Even after he declared his wholehearted affection for you?”
“The guy’s a professional casanova. Of course he’d say lies like that to get me into trusting him, only to lure me into his bed and leave me the moment he gets what he wants.”
“And what exactly does he want?” she teased. You sat up to give your friend an unamused look. “What?” she asked, “You never know, he could like you.”
“Yeah right,” you snorted, “and I like him.”
Monday morning came about quickly, and Seongwoo had not messaged you since the “date” Saturday. Even though you kept yourself angry at the certain raven-haired boy, you couldn’t help but check your phone all throughout Sunday for something. Maybe it was that part of you that hoped maybe he did mean it and would try even harder to win you over. But again, it’s Ong you were thinking of. He could’ve easily found some other girl; someone easier, someone who would give him just what he wanted. Those thoughts made you scoff, angry at the thought of possibly trusting him. Yet, you found yourself with that ugly green monster making itself at home in your mind, obsessively checking his social media for any form of another female to occupy him for that one day he left you in silence. But nothing popped up. “It was as if his dick could actually control itself for a day,” you mused as you walked into the mathematics building...only to stop abruptly at the sight that laid before you.
The male underclassmen were lined up on either side of the hallway, each one holding onto a small envelope. You spied Seongwoo’s group of friends standing at the end of the hallway, beckoning for you to walk towards them. You finally regained control over your feet and began walking towards your classroom.  The underclassmen handed you their envelopes and suddenly the intercom clicked on.
“Attention, Evanson students,” Seongwoo’s voice rung out, “before Dr. Harris realizes I’m hijacking the morning announcements, I would like to say something to a very special person. Y/N L/N, I am sorry. Like, I acknowledge I’m an asshat who treated you like any other girl I usually go after when you are so much more to me than an easy lay. No offense to those girls, but like, sorry, it’s true. You mean way too much to me for me to just let you get away, so in a very extra way, I apologize, and hopefully you’ll find it in yourself to forgive me and give me another chance. Plus, I hope you open all those envelopes in secret; I’d rather not lose my manhood today. Actually, do whatever you want, just please give me another chance. And-”
His voice was cut off by a loud screech, indicating Dr. Harris had indeed realized he had hijacked the morning announcements.
“What did the envelopes say?” Nayoung asked, eyeing the stack you clutched tightly in your hands. The two of you were walking back to the dorms after eighth period, passing by the dean’s office on the way.
“I think that’s for me and him to know,” you cheekily stated, motioning your head to the dean’s office where Seongwoo now sat, probably getting the lecture of the era. Nayoung gave you a funny look before simply shrugging and making her way towards the dorms, leaving you to wait outside the dean’s office.
Fifteen minutes passed before Seongwoo emerged from the office, looking completely drained of energy. “Y-Y/N, um, hey,” he said sheepishly, “I see you got the envelopes.”
“Yeah,” you looked at the boy that stood in front of you. The usual confidence was gone. He averted your gaze, choosing to look at the linoleum floors instead. “Look, did you mean everything you said in these notes?” you inquired. He nodded slowly. “All 206 of them?” you pressed.
“You kept count?” he asked, that telltale smirk emerging. You faltered, trying to find a reason for keeping count without letting on too quickly he was forgiven.
“W-well, we didn’t do anything in econ today, so-” your lie was cut off when he enveloped you in a hug.
“God, I was so scared you’d still be upset with me,” he mumbled into your hair.
“And why would you be scared?” you asked, fully knowing why. But you needed to hear it again. You needed those words molded in his voice.
“Because I like you, and it scares me,” he said the moment he let go of you. “This is the first time I haven’t been on the receiving end,” he dryly laughed at that statement. His smile faded the longer you stayed silent. “Are you still upset?” he asked softly.
“A little,” you finally caved, “but I’m giving you another chance.” He lit up at those words. “But,” his smile died down, “it has to be on my terms. Agree?” He nodded eagerly. “Good, you’re doing all the coffee runs at internship this week. You have to walk me to all of my classes,” you paused to think of the run he’d have to do for your fourth period class, “All. And, you cannot engage physical contact with me for a week. No hugs, hand holding, nothing. But, I can engage with you. Can you handle that, Ong?” The smirk that graced his lips threw you for a loop.
“Anything for you, princess.”
“Good, if you can handle that, consider yourself forgiven.”

Produce 101/Wanna One: Ong Seongwoo
Preview:
It wasn’t you to kiss him despite how drunk you were. He was still very sober, but he kissed you tasting the alcohol on your mouth. He was scared you’d hurt him in the morning, scared you’d tell him another set of painful words, but it was difficult to let go of you when he’s trying so hard to mend you back together.
Running a hand through your hair, you leaned back against your chair to watch him laugh with his group of friends. You hated watching him smile, perhaps because you were jealous of his beautiful life; maybe because you craved for the same attention and affection from someone else.
“You’re fucking horrible.” You whisper to yourself instead of him when you give him another glance after resting your head against your chair to look at the ceiling. He looked happy, you noticed, something that normally pissed you off because it broke your heart. He was different and so were you.
You left that night alone even after several people offered to drive you back home. You ended up in your room with your favourite playlist after an hour later. You were silently sobbing as the tears just fell on their own and you honestly couldn’t care any less—everything else felt numb as you repeatedly listened to the mellow rhythm and beat of the music. After a long while, you believed it would have probably been better if nothing changed at all and you were dancing in this stupid room like idiots. You would’ve liked that—would’ve been happier like he was in the party.
You felt tired after a moment of thinking and pondering of what exactly happened and why it happened. You sighed, “Absolutely stupid over a boy—over a fucking confession that had a possibility of going wrong. Absolute stupidity.”
“Hey,” he said. You were taking a round in the city streets with your bicycle until he appeared from behind you. You didn’t feel like answering him so instead you turn your face to him before averting it back to the road. He noticed how swollen your eyes were and how puffy your nose looked, but he didn’t find it in him to ask you so he let you continue. You were about to crash into another vehicle when he held onto you and pulled you off your bike making him fall back. You immediately got off of him before he apologized to the driver.
“Stop,” he said. He was breathing heavily as he caught up to you, but you didn’t seem to listen to him so he repeated what he had said, “Stop, listen to me.”
“Why should I?” You snapped finally turning to him, your eyes were deadly and he almost felt his heart drop at how broken you were. He hadn’t talked to you for two months after you told him—he said no—and he didn’t know; he was too young to know.
He started, “Are you all right?”
“That’s such a rhetorical question, Ong.” You raked your fingers through the thick strands of your hair to push away the stray hair from your face. You added, “Because I want to be fine, I want to be happy—it’s just that I’m not.”
He watched you again—watched you break your heart in front of him. You sighed, “We’re young. It’s supposed to be fine. We’re normal teenagers, normal people and sometimes we’re even strangers. But you were my best friend and not anyone else’s. That’s the thing though, you were my best friend and now we’re no one.”
You simply did not wait for him to reply, rather you left him there to watch you leave. You didn’t want him to follow you or chase you to listen to him say sorry. You needed time—a change of pace.
Sometimes, you make mistakes. Mistakes you hardly regretted, because you knew they were your fault and no one’s. It was when you were in college when you regretted it most, you were tipsy and you found him alone near the balcony. He was swinging his cup sideways before looking up to you to which he looked shocked.
He made mistakes, he didn’t have such a beautiful life, he regretted most of his decision; however, he learned from you for so long that every decision was neither wrong nor right—they were just true. They all had consequences, but he didn’t regret it this time.
You laughed so loudly that night, you looked happier yet painfully sad. You cried softly while laughing and somehow after some time you told him so willingly, “I’m still not all right if you were wondering, Seongwoo. I don’t know why I’m here with you, but I’m happy.”
Seongwoo listened to you mumble the other words until you said it—something he missed out after saying no, “I’m still here—still craving for you.”
He’s trying to fix you, himself. He tries, but the next morning you wake up shouting and screaming at him to stop. He finally hears you say it—it’s so beautifully painful, “No.”
He screams and cries when you leave. He sleeps with your scent still lingering in his sheets, and then he sees you out working hard on your portfolio. You see him, but you don’t speak a word; however, despite the silence around you, you find his solace endearing. He’s there, you accept that after a month then you’re falling back to him.
“You used to stare quite a lot when we were young.” He stated leaning against the balcony. You blew the piece of stray hair away from your face, but he brushes it off clipping it behind your ear when it doesn’t move away. You said, “You were interesting.”
You smiled, “People noticed me stare.”
“I watched you a lot when you looked away.” He admitted to which you cock your brow at, “It was only fair.”
“Hey,” you say when he pulls you to bed quickly removing his remaining clothes and some off of you, “do you love me?”
He stops to look into your eyes, he’ll give you exactly what you want always. You were always so patient, never growing tired of anything despite the pain. He pulls you to his lap to press a soft kiss to your neck before he breathes in, “I’d be damned if I say another no.”
Then he sees you smile so genuinely as if to say you were all right and happier. This time you will be better.

ong seongwoo|bad boy
Tumblr media
member: ong seongwoo genre: fluff summary: college au! badboy au! a reformed bad girl and the resident bad boy, she’s hard to get but he loves a challenge. will it end in disaster or love? collab: with iris!! @alliwannado-w1
seongwoo was bad and everyone knew it
he was in a top secret gang and had very dangerous friends
but that didn’t mean he wasn’t popular quite the opposite actually
he had heaps of friends and he was the one people usually went to for “party favours” but it was never talked about people just knew
though seongwoo himself was definitely talked about on every corner of campus
and he knew it
the girls loved him
and he knew that too
he might not wear a leather jacket because it’s too “cliche”
even if he does wear one occasionally
you can tell instantly he’s a bad boy
from the ripped jeans, worn converse, a tight white t shirt showing off his toned and defined muscles, his messy black hair, the way he holds himself and his attitude
but most of all the cocky smirk he has plastered on his face
he never hung around campus, barely attended lectures but still got really good grades?? but he visited the occasional party
where girls would throw themselves at him for one night with the resident bad boy
truthfully it was pathetic but you didn’t really care that much either
you were in your first year of college and it wasn’t bad
mostly it was better than high school
but in high school you were a completely different person
right now you’re just another everyday normal college student
in high school you were known as the school’s bad girl, you were in a gang and mixed up with “bad people”
but to you they were like family
and you ended up leaving your gang
because it started to getting really dangerous because one of your members upset one of the most dangerous gangs around leader
more and more people were going to hospital because of the feud between the two gangs and they wanted you to leave
in all honesty you didn’t want to but you ended up leaving
two years later you’ve still not been able to contact them, you miss them a lot but you’re moving on with your life
but then ong seongwoo comes into your life like a bloody hurricane and basically steals your heart
you two met at a party
the dance floor was packed and you were right in the middle of it having fun
and then suddenly someone grabs your hand, spins you around and brings you close to them
you instantly thought to kick them but then you meet those gorgeous enticing brown eyes
and your heart stops for a moment and you’re breathless
you felt a rush of love?
but you pushed your feelings straight down thinking it’s just the alcohol talking
then you realise it’s ong seongwoo
he smirks at you and whispers into your ear in a low seductive tone
“having fun?”
though you ain’t buying this crap, you were sure he did it with at least a million different other girls
and you are not the one to throw yourself at a guy with one sentence
“i was when you ruined it” you said coldly taking back your hand
he looks at you with a mix of surprise and shock
you give him a smirk as you say
“try another girl ong seongwoo and maybe they’ll fall for your bad boy charm” you rolled your eyes as your voice was dripping in sarcasm
seongwoo was so surprised since no girl has ever rejected him
well except in primary school when he pulled her pigtails while asking her out but that doesn’t count
though seongwoo always loved a challenge and you were exactly that
before approaching you, he was staring at you from afar and something hit him just wave of emotion
he never felt anything like it
everything about you was so beautiful, enticing and captivating
he just had to talk to you
even if he thought it was bullshit it kinda felt like love at first sight
but now his plan horribly backfired
usually if he did that move he’d already been able to steal a kiss from most girls
you were different though and he liked that
he liked that a lot
“what bad boy charm?” seongwoo “innocently” said back
“oh gosh please stop you know exactly what i’m talking about” you say amused by his antics
‘okay maybe i do” he says with a cheeky smile before continuing
“but how do you know it won’t work you?” he says with a heart melting look
and that’s exactly how your heart felt
he was good and he knew it
but you still couldn’t fall for him well at least not on the first night
and strengthened your resolve
“because i don’t date bad boys” you say with a raise of an eyebrow
“oooo do we have a good little girl here” he teases
you scoff at that statement nearly laughing
“trust me even if i wanted to be i couldn’t” you say some longing in your voice thinking about your gang
seongwoo looks at you curiously before you snap out of your thoughts
you lean and whisper into his ear
“night seongwoo, have fun and try not to think of me when you’re kissing another girl”
you smirk at him and walk away without a second glance
while seongwoo can’t help but grin even if he was rejected
he knew right then and there he was gonna fall for you big time
and even he tried to he couldn’t stop thinking about you
the next day seongwoo greeted you the moment you were out of your dorm
“hey” he says with a charming smile leaning on the back of the wall literally looking like he was filming a commercial but it was all EFFORTLESS
at least that’s what you thought and didn’t know he spent one and a half hours on his hair making sure every strand was in place
“it’s 7 in the morning seongwoo and i have to get to a stupid lecture what do you want?” you say tiredly
“i didn’t get your name last night” he says stepping closer to you
“that’s because i didn’t want you to know it” you retort sassily
then you grabbed his coffee cup and took a sip
“HEY! THAT’S MINE!!” seongwoo whines
“nope it’s mine now see you later pretty boy” you say turning around to leave
“oh come on at least let me get your name” he says
“you know where my dorm is but not my name, i’m not stupid seongwoo” you say sassily before walking off
“i’m picking you up after class” he shouts as you get further than away from him
“STALKER” you teasingly shout
seongwoo sighs as he sees you walk away but he can’t help but smile
you were definitely a piece of work but in his eyes you were a masterpiece
your quick comebacks and teasing made him feel things he’s never felt before
you were gorgeous, witty, smart, confident, funny and independent
how could he not fall for you but he need you to fall for him
seongwoo was going to win your heart
but unbeknownst to him you were waiting for him too
something attracted you to seongwoo and it wasn’t his bad boy charm as you so eloquently put it
but it was what was hidden beneath, the small signs of care when he was around you
that coffee was warm and not a single sip was taken from it and you knew he was going to give it to you, it was also your favourite drink
the fact he actually put effort into finding out where your dorm is
and how he didn’t knock on the door but waited for you
that was just the interaction tis morning
you couldn’t help feel all fuzzy and warm thinking about him
you didn’t admit it to yourself but you couldn’t spend any bit of your lecture concentrating and thinking about a certain someone
a whole month went by and you could 100% say you were falling for seongwoo
and him? well the whole school knew he was infatuated with you
for the first time in his whole college career he went to the library
just because you wanted to study
and spent more time on campus those for two weeks than 5 months
he always made sure to give you space to live your boring ass life
but would always meet you when you finish up your last class of the day
and of course bring you coffee in the morning
you spent a lot of time at your dorm, eating, talking, studying, watching netflix and just spending time with each other
the witty comebacks and flirty teasing was a constant
but you two had a lot of real conversations
about life, your future, the problems, insecurities, worries, fears and all the happy memories you had too
though neither of you mentioned gangs at all
seongwoo not ready to share that bit of his life because he was so scared that you’ll be running fro the hills the moment you hear about it
and you did not want to visit the past
it was genuinely amazing
seongwoo wanted to ask you out the only thing stopping him is how you would react about all the details of the gang
though you guys were already like a couple
while you watch netflix you two cuddle all snuggled up
occasionally you two hold hands too
he’s even sneaked in a few cheek kisses here and there
the first time he did it he remembered you shouting at him and chasing after him as he laughed
but you loved it
then seongwoo suddenly disappeared
you instantly knew something was a miss when he wasn’t there in the morning then no contact whatsoever for the whole day
then after you left him several calls and texts
and he didn’t reply and the calls went straight to voice mail
you were worried out of your mind
all you wanted to know that he was safe
after a whole week passed, you went to his dorm
it was locked and you instantly unlocked it by using your skeleton key
everything was like what you imagine a guy’s college dorm to be
but when you searched the bedroom something caught your eye
it was the symbol of your gang, a pagan symbol for protection
on a letter which was written with a code that your gang produced
you still remember it by heart
it only gave you an address and a change of password
there was anticipation and excitement rushing though your veins
maybe seongwoo was there
you were instantly shocked that you didn’t think of your old gang members first but seongwoo
and clutching the letter you realise in such a short span of time you really have fallen for him
but you were also so excited to meet your members again
you went straight back to your dorm and brought out your box
which had your old outfit you always wore to headquarters
black high waisted cuffed shorts, chunky black heeled boots, a plain black singlet, your old worn leather jacket and your red bandana
you quickly put your hair up into a high pony and wore the outfit, before putting some red lipstick on
also making sure you were armed with knives just in case
you left and when you arrived at the location which was a plain steel wall with the symbol painted onto it
but there was three small knobs and you twisted them according to the instructions
the door swung open and you were welcome to a dark bar
“who the hell are you” demanded a low voice as a gun was pointed right into your temple
you looked at the guy with no fear in your eyes
“wait woojin stop, i can recognise that outfit from a mile away. i got her that leather jacket and she loves that red bandana.” said a very familiar voice
as the guy called woojin lowered his gun you could see daniel’s face
and you broke out into a bright smile as he did the same
“welcome home y/n” he says happily
as you run into his arms and he spins you around laughing
“where’s everyone else? is everyone safe? why did you stop all contact with me for three years?!!!” you demand
he chuckles and says “that’s the y/n i know, and most of us are out, more people got hurt but it all sorted itself out, and by the time it was safe we didn’t know how to contact you”
“you still should have” you grumpily say before you hear you name called out
a brown haired teenager came barrelling into you and you reprimanded daniel instantly
“JINYOUNG IS UNDERAGE WHY IS HE HERE??”
‘we have even younger members” quipped in woojin
and you look at daniel ready to rip his head off while he takes a step back
“but you were in the gang when you were underaged plus i only do the motorcycle races and the underground fights” jinyoung answered still hugging you
“you rascal i missed you so much you better be safe during the races and fights” you reprimand sweetly
“i will i will, you still see me as that 8 year old kid you used to baby sit don;t you” he says with a cute pout
“yuppp you’ll always be my lil bro” you agree with a soft smile
“hey y/n sorry about the whole gun thing” says woojin shyly
“oh don’t worry about it, it’s protocol i know” you say nicely
“thanks for understanding” he says smiling showing off his snaggletooth
and you can’t help but smile back
“wait daniel the reason why i came here was because of ong seongwoo do you know him?” you asked daniel seriously
“does he know him of course he does they’re best friends” interrupted a new voice
you look up to see minhyun
“minhyun!!” you say brightly going over to him to hug him
“it’s so nice to see you again” he says genuinely
“are you still the resident healer?” you ask
“of course none of these idiots would be alive without me” he says jokingly
“very true” you agree nodding while the other guys started protesting
“but where’s seongwoo he completely disappeared on me without a single word, and i found this letter in his dorm” you said handing the letter over to minhyun
“wait wait how do you know seongwoo?” daniel asks bewildered
“OHHHHH I GET IT!!” jinyoung says loudly
as the realisation dawns on woojin the same time
woojin loudly announced “y/n’s THE GIRL”
“the one he talks about constantly, refuses to give her name to us, who’s basically the love of his life and the one he complains that he’s gonna lose if he tells about all of us??” minhyun asks
while your mouth kept on dropping at his words while you yourself were melting at his words
“YES THIS IS AMAZING I CALL BEING THE BEST MAN AND GODFATHER TO THE FIRST BORN!!” daniel shouts in excitement
you shake your head not understanding how this the same guy to be able to beat up 3 guys ruthlessly all at once and go 180km an hour with no hesitation in a street race
“guys for fucks sake i just want to know where he is that’s more important than an IMAGINARY wedding and future child” you say dryly
“we’ll make that a reality one day won’t we?” you hear seongwoo’s voice oozing with cheekiness and happiness
and you can’t help but burst into a huge relieved grin
you rush to hug him but you gently wrap your arms around him just in case he has any injuries
“you absolute idiotic moron you scared the shit out of me” you whisper softly as seongwoo’s wraps his arms around you gently
you instantly feel safe and like it was home in his arms
“aww you care about me” he cooes teasingly
“oh shut up” you mutter breaking apart slightly disappointed
“seongwoo why the hell are you out of bed you woke up from your concussion literally an hour ago and you have TWO BULLET WOUNDS” minhyun stressed urgently
before seongwoo could reply woojin gently swept him up and led him to the infirmary and put him on his bed
“i’m sorry okay!! i just wanted to see y/n” he says totally not sorry
“he’s so whipped” jinyoung comments with a smirk
seongwoo flipped him off for that but never denied it
“why didn’t you tell me that you were going??” you asked impatiently
“um because i thought it would be a quick job but ha yeah i got beat real bad” seongwoo mumbles embarrassed
“i literally broke into your apartment and found the letter, you really need to keep this stuff hidden” you say telling him off
“wow you were really worried weren’t you” seongwoo says happily totally ignoring the comment about his incompetence
before you can answer he adds “guys can you give us moment”
“OOOOOOOO don’t be making out when we’re back!” daniel teases
you flip him the finger as he leaves with everyone else
“seongwo-” you start before seongwoo interrupts you
“y/n just let me say this first” he begs which makes you agree instantly
“okay i’ve been meaning to say this for a while. gosh y/n i’m in love with you, i never believed the bullshit love at first sight thing but that’s exactly how it felt when i first met you at that party. over the course of month i fell for you and the only reason why i didn’t tell you about all this is because i thought you would leave me, now i see that really is not the case.” he says slightly nervous but mostly hopeful
“i wanted to ask you will you be my girlfriend?” he ended hesitantly not meeting your eyes
your heart felt like it was going to burst in happiness and love
“of course i will, i love you too seongwoo” you say your voice filled with affection
then seongwoo gives you his signature smirk/smile making you instantly melt
and brings you close with two fingers leading your chin towards his lips
you guys finally kiss after a whole month of flirting back and forth
seongwoo smiles as he kisses you gently at first then deepening it
you run your hands through his messy black hair making sure not to hurt any of his injuries
his arms wrap around your waist while kissing you with even more love and affection that before
the kiss was light flirty but passionate and full of love
just like your relationship with seongwoo
and you broke apart gently still noses touching
with sweet smiles and seongwoo whispered to you sounding very full of himself
“you totally do fall for bad boys”
you shake your head laughing before saying
“nah i just fell for you...” you stopped a moment before continuing because of seongwoo
he can’t help but smile at you making you want to kiss him all over again
and you ended up doing just that
which the guys totally interrupted on
but not before you said
“my bad boy”
this wasn’t anything like i planned it to be but oh well. i planned this collab with iris for ages but won’t be doing all the members. just the ones we feel that is most like a “bad boy” i hope you guys like it!!

It might be a bit rushed ;; I didn’t get to explore as much as I wanted in such a limited space, but I hope that you still like it! As always, feel free to let me know what you think!
Enjoy~
Also, because of the situation with tumblr links, please check my bio for links to my masterlist~

"Miss, I'm going to enter." The statement was more of an announcement than a question, but your ears perked up as soon as you heard that voice. That tone, that familiar heartbeat that you could faintly hear from behind your door, you would know it anywhere. Immediately, you scrambled to the edge of your bed, sitting yourself up straight as you waited for him to enter your room. The large door opened slowly, and a lone young male slipped in. It was just who you had expected.
It was Seongwu.
You had a special relationship with Seongwu. When your father had found him snooping around your home a few years ago, trying to get intel on the pure-blooded vampire clan that lived on the outskirts of the town, he wanted to send the young male back to his people in pieces. Your eyes had locked with Seongwu's, and you saw real fear in them at that moment. You suggested to your father that your family take him in, treat him as one of your own and he could help the family to the best of his abilities. Your father had been hesitant but put him under supervision, with the explicit condition that, if he did anything to harm the family, he would have to go.
Of course, Seongwu wasn't very open to your help at first. Still you had tried to tend to his wounds, to show him that you weren't as terrible as his people may have suggested. It took time to build a relationship with him, and eventually, he opened up to you. That closeness grew into something more; what you could only suspect was what people called 'love.' You were lovers, but to your father, he was, one a tool for the family to use when they needed to know what the humans were up to, and two, he was a source of your nourishment.
"Your father called me back, saying that you refused to feed while I was gone. Love, you know that you can't do that..." he reprimanded you gently as he tenderly cupped your face in his hands. "You'll grow weak. You can't be this reckless..."
"If I so easily feed, my father will never bring you back here," you said softly, moving to your feet, your arms snaking around his waist. "Also, you know that no one fills me as you do. No one else is substantial."
You could hear it, the way that your words, double entendre intended, had made his heart beat faster. The smirk that danced on his lips only sealed the deal. "You naughty girl. You did all of this to get me back here and in your arms didn't you..." he stated, hands working their way down your body. "I guess your method worked. I'm not allowed to go anywhere now." As soon as his lips made contact with yours, you knew what was to come.
Clothes discarded in seconds, your lips hungrily kissing each other's bodies as you both found your way back to the bed. Seongwu bit at that sensitive spot on your neck as his hand worked its way down your body, fingers moving between your legs as they slipped into you. You threw your head back, moans cascading from your lips as his fingers moved within you, gently pumping in and out. With the little clarity that you had left, you managed to roll Seongwu over, pushing his fingers away from you while positioning yourself over his length. Slowly you slid him in, his entirety disappearing into your wet womanhood. Your hips rolled against his, Seongwu's head falling back as he groaned from your movements.
"Shit, Seongwu, there," you moaned when his hands grasped your hips and changed the angle. You could hear his heart speeding up, the sound of it booming through your ears. It urged you to go faster, to bring him closer to his release.
Your mind, clouded by pleasure, almost made you forget what the intent of bringing Seongwu back was. Lucky for you, your lover was lucid enough to gently cradle your face in his hand, eyes locking with your lusty gaze. "You have to do it soon, love, I won't last much longer," he groaned, breath hitching at your sudden movement.
At his words, he tilted his head for you, your eyes now the vibrant red they were whenever you were ready to feed. Tenderly you nipped at his neck as your bodies moved together. You felt his moves become erratic, his speed picking up and his heart beating faster. It took everything in you to push past the need for pure pleasure. Your fangs pushed out, and when his heart reached its peak, you sank your teeth in, puncturing the skin. You were greeted by the familiar taste on your tongue, just as you were being filled below.
At that moment, your wave of ecstasy washed over you, your body gently rocking against his to ride out your release. Slowly your body stilled, breathing a bit irregular.
“I love this - fuck, I love you,” you murmured gently against his skin, your arms wrapping around his neck as you nuzzled closer to him.
A small and tired smile graced Seongwu's lips as he helped you to lay down beside him. The entire time, you never let him go, holding onto him like a little bear.
"I love you too," he told you quickly, hand running through your locks as you tried to snuggle closer to him. Because in truth, as you felt like he was the only one that could satisfy you, in his heart, there was also only you.

how? | ong seongwoo

requested: no characters: seongwoo x you word count: 1.3k  genre: angst  warning(s): curse words author’s note: this is my first non-requested scenario, i hope that you’ll enjoy it (even though its angst)! i came up with this idea last night when i felt uninspired but yes, another seongwoo scenario! i actually almost cried imagining this LOL, anyways, let me know what you think! thank you!
masterlist
they walked passed you in the narrow hallway
his hands around her and her hands around him
you shifted your eyes on the floor beneath you and tried to walk straight to avoid any eye contact from anyone
but it didn’t really help with all the whispering that surrounded you
“wasn’t that her friend?”
“what is she doing with him?”
“y/n, are you okay?”
“they look better together though”
murmurs and whispering that haunted you at night
they didn’t let you sleep
thoughts would come rushing in your head and you hated it
you’ve been trying to move on for the longest time
how could you just lose your feelings for him in a blink of an eye
how could you forget the days, months that you spent together
how could you forget something that was so memorable?
it has been a month or so since you broke up
you still felt like shit
“what have i done to deserve this?” you thought
you felt unworthy, you felt empty, you felt alone
the friend who you came running to before was now with your boyfriend
ex-boyfriend, actually
you cried every night just thinking
what have you done to her to do this to you
what wrong have you done to them to do this to you
you felt betrayed
she was the one who you vented on during the times when you and Seongwoo fought or argued
she was the one who gave you advice and told you what you should do to solve the problem you were both having
she was the one who you cried on when you broke up with Seongwoo
she pretended that she was there for you
but at the same time
she was busy on getting him
who knew that she was actually the reason why you and Seongwoo broke up?
bullshit, right?
he claimed that he lost his feelings for you
but you didn’t know that the feelings he lost for you all went to your dear friend
you only found out that they were a thing when your friend Hara caught them “studying” together in one of the study rooms at the library
Hara tried dragging you out of there,
saying that it was a mistake taking you there to show you that they were together
but when you got there, things already escalated and they were just all over each other in the dark room
what hurts the most was that
you witnessed how his hands roamed around her body
how her hands gripped his soft, dark hair
how his soft lips touched hers
you reminisced how those lips felt pressed on yours
how he would make you feel and vice versa
it was dark in that room but it was as if there was a spotlight that shined on them because you were able to see everything
it sucks that you had to see it
but when you saw them all over each other
you just couldn’t move
you felt frozen
you felt numb
suddenly, your feet were glued on the ground and you just couldn’t step away
you could still remember how your tears began to slowly stream down your cheeks
not even trying to wipe them away
you wanted to go inside the room that they were in and grab your friend’s hair and drag her out of there
you wanted to slap Seongwoo’s face
and ask them how?
but you weren’t that type of person
you just decided stay where you were and suffer in silence
once you had enough of seeing them
you turned you back and walked away
that scene, that moment remained vivid in your mind
you could remember every single thing as if it just happened yesterday
at night, you couldn’t do anything but to reflect on yourself
was there anything wrong about you? why? how could they?
you chuckle at yourself
you didn’t even notice
not even a bit
how Seongwoo started to distance himself from you
how he would not eat lunch with you anymore
when you spent time together, he would be on his phone
texting someone
you assumed he was texting his friends
but he was actually texting your friend
he began to stop walking you home or to class
he started to cancel you study dates together
only to find out that he actually “studied” with her
he stopped texting you like usual
there were days when he doesn’t even message you until you initiate the conversation
you just assumed that he was busy though
but you didn’t know that he was actually busy with her
there was a time when he had to go home early because apparently, Daniel and them are coming over to work on a project
but when you couldn’t contact Seongwoo to check up on him, you would call Daniel instead (since they were together) and ask how was Seongwoo doing
and Daniel would take a while to respond because he was wondering where Seongwoo was as well
“He’s not with me right now, Y/N” Daniel admitted
you felt confused because Seongwoo claimed that they were coming over
“Where are you right now, Daniel?” you hesitated to ask, but still did
Daniel answered, “I’m at Minhyun’s place, we’re just hanging out here”
“Oh. I thought that you guys will work on your history project today?” you added
Daniel made a “huh” sound, “No Y/N, we’re going on Friday!” Daniel laughed
at that moment, you felt that something was wrong
it didn’t feel right
but you just shrugged it off claiming that maybe Seongwoo just mixed it up
the next day, he would show up and you would pretend that nothing happened
he did say that he just mixed up the days and you believed him
he would press his warm lips on your forehead and suddenly, everything was okay again
you just didn’t know how it all began, how it all happened
but it was all slowly starting to make sense
it was so painful
you didn’t know where to start
how do you move on?
you see them together everyday ever since you caught them
they didn’t even bother explaining themselves but you thought it was better that way
you didn’t want to suffer even more by hearing their stupid explanations
you took out your phone from your pocket as you laid down in your bed
you opened your camera roll and selected the pictures of you and Seongwoo together
and you attempted to delete them
but you just couldn’t
you clicked on the picture where Seongwoo was peacefully sleeping beside you, sunlight against his handsome face
you then clicked the one where he was kissing your cheek, happily
you clicked on the one that your other friends took, you were holding hands while walking together and laughing
you clicked the one beside it, it was when he cooked your favorite food for the first time and you could remember how he was so nervous when he made you taste it
there was another one where Seongwoo was hugging you tightly and you remembered how safe and secure you felt wrapped in between his arms
you remembered how happy you were with him
the happy memories that were now bringing nothing but pain and tears
you placed your phone back in your side table and sighed
“is he happy now?” you let out a bitter sigh
your vision beginning to blur again, only to realize that tears were starting to form
you bit your lower lip, trying to hold it in
“are they happy now?” and you lost it.
you always told him that you would always, always be happy seeing him happy because his smile made you feel happy as well
but it was crushing your heart and soul seeing him happy with her, and
not with you

Under The Moon
summary: “moonlight drowns out all but the brightest stars.” characters: you, seongwoo genre: angst a/n: masterlist
Tumblr media
It was beautiful, the night sky. Bright, twinkling stars that you could never grasp littered the rich and deep blue sky, painting a galaxy of it’s own. But it’s the moon that sits among the billions of stars which shines the brightest.
It changes every night; sometimes weak and wan, sometimes a full moon at its full capacity and other times, a beautiful and almost perfect crescent.
You sit alone on a bench in the middle of a park, a park which you and your boyfriend Seongwoo often frequented. Uncountable hours have been spent with him on this particular bench just talking about everything and anything.
One thing you remembered the most clearly was him often telling you how much he enjoyed looking at the moon in silence.
You gazed up at the limitless sky and took in a long, deep breath.
The you before never really understood what was so interesting about gazing at something that resembled nothing but a ball of light. There was nothing much to it; that’s what you thought.
But after all that has happened, you finally understood why Seongwoo was so fascinated and intrigued with the moon.
The thing is, people come and go. One day, they would be there and the next, they would be gone. But the moon is different. Rain or shine, starless or not, the moon would always, without fail, be there.
People who had no one to confide in often found comfort in inanimate objects, or some just prefer not saying anything at all. The moon is a friend for the lonesome; a presence that listens to their worries without offering anything or receiving anything in a return.
Imagine how many people, on bad days, might have looked up at the sky to the star that hangs above and spoke all the words that they’ve kept locked inside of them?
-
You take in another deep breath of the crisp night air, holding it till your lungs screamed for air before releasing it along with all your worries and perhaps, a bit of your sadness.
Anyone who saw you right now would be able to see the hint of melancholic sadness in your eyes. Loneliness could be so scary sometimes, couldn’t it?
Sometimes it felt like you were swimming in a void of nothingness, as if you were in the bottom of the sea and you couldn’t see anything.
The park was dead silent, save for the occasional chirping of the crickets. You could almost hear Seongwoo’s voice beside you, calling your name like he always used to.
-
“y/n,” Seongwoo sings, “I missed you.”
“Come here,” you opened your arms and without a single moment of hesitation, your boyfriend falls into your embrace.
You take a whiff of his familiar cologne and smiled, “Has it been hard these days?”
“It has never been easy,” Seongwoo mumbles, “but at least my schedule is clearing up. I’ve been so busy and caught up with work but for some reason, it feels empty.”
The silence that falls afterwards seemed to thread between being a comfortable one and heavy one.
“I’m always here for you, you know that right?” you wrapped your arms around him a little tighter, hoping that your words would provide if not just a little bit of comfort.
“I know, thank you babe.”
-
A tear escapes your eye and the next moment, you could feel your chest tightening. It almost feels as if a pair of hands were on your neck, squeezing the life out of you. You couldn’t breathe.
It was always like this on this particular date; when you would feel so indescribably empty and lonely. The only person who could fill up that emptiness in you was the same person who had left you.
-
“It’s so hard, y/n.”
His voice was shaking, “I can’t do it anymore,” and you hear the sobs in between his words. You hear the way his voice trembled, sounding anything but composed.
He was breaking down, right in front of you. And that was the first time you’ve felt so incredibly helpless and powerless.
-
You carefully placed the bouquet of flowers you’ve gotten earlier beside you, at Seongwoo’s usual spot. Memories with him came flooding back to you in an instant and your head was pounding.
Has it already been 3 years?
The tears that slipped out of your eyes sipped into the wooden bench and left a stain on it.
-
You said you wouldn’t leave.
You, who stood under the moon which we looked at together almost every night.
You, who stood under that same moon which we shared our secrets with.
You, who stood under that same, exact moon and allowed it to witness you giving me your promise that you would never let go.
But it was also you, who stood under that same moon and broke your promise.
“But it’s amazing, isn’t it, Seongwoo?” you whispered almost inaudibly, “How the moon seems to always shine the brightest on the date you left the world and became a star in the sky?”
It was true; that the moon’s radiance drowned out all but the brightest stars.
And perhaps that was why the the sky seemed so effortlessly and brilliantly bright tonight.

comfort zone
member: ong seongwu genre: fluff summary: you were fine with how everything was but seongwu was pushing your limits.  a/n: can’t believe im out here writing this long ass fic. that isn’t angst or daniel...
you’re not the type to go for it or seize the moment while it was there. no, there had to be a proper thought process before you made a ‘serious’ decision like your next meal, accepting someone in your friend circle, or relationships. you put a lot more thought into things than people believe you do. your friends think you make easy choices because you’re so nonchalant or find no difficulty in saying no.
but in truth? saying no was easier than saying yes.
saying yes was like taking a step out of your comfort zone. it was too risky and too different for you to handle. saying yes meant accepting and change. saying yes meant something new. although you didn’t like how things are at the moment, you were comfortable and definitely aren’t ready for anything out of your range.
comfort was a cup of taro green milk tea from gongcha with 30% percent sugar and coconut topping. comfort was earbuds in your ears and your music on 11+ volume. comfort was laying in a warm bed and cold pillow on your right side while your phone was playing your night playlist.
you say you like change, but you weren’t welcoming to changes that made a difference in your life.
like him.
he was a 180cm male (or so he claims, you still believe he’s lying about 2cm or so) that sweeps his hair to the side and makes jokes so he can see your “rare starlight smile”. yes, you cringe every time you hear him say that, but no matter how much you deject him, his smile doesn’t knock off his face around you.
he was ong seongwu.
now, ong seongwu was your natural smooth talker that you wouldn’t trust on a normal day. unfortunately, no day was ever really normal when he was around. you see, seongwu likes you. well, you don’t really believe him, but he likes to reminds you that he does by holding flower and waiting for you outside your classroom or taking your bag and walking you to class. no matter how many times you’ve told him you’d report him (he’d fire back with the typical ‘report our marriage’ line).
you couldn’t win with seongwu because he was witty. anything you’d say to him would backfire and cause a series of stuttering and a red flustered face. all of which he completely enjoys watching.
sparking ong’s interest isn’t an easy task. he’s easily bored and you’re not exactly categorized as “fun mania”. most people don’t see what seongwu sees in you, but he saw everything in you.
you were first introduced through a mutual friend, minhyun. he told you his group of friends were entertaining. you expected a group of people like him, reserved and enjoyable during silence. nope, instead, you got ong seongwu, kang daniel, and kim jaehwan.
‘til to this day, you’re unsure if they’re fun or a headache, but you stuck around (not like you had much of a choice when ong was sticking onto your shoulder).
“are you guys going to the movies tonight?” you asked the boys during lunch.
“can’t. i got an orgo exam tomorrow,” minhyun sighed.
“fuck, that’s tonight? i got a date,” jaehwan cursed, “i really wanted to see the last maze runner.”
“uh, if i drop out of this too, would you hate me?” daniel sheepishly smiled at you.
you glared at him and he rubbed his hands together apologetically.
“if you don’t go, it’d only be me and––”
“hey guys,” seongwu greeted the table and squeezed himself in between you and daniel despite there being room next to daniel on the other side.
speaking of the devil.
“really?” you rolled your eyes and picked up your trash, hopefully making your exit.
“hey, sunshine,” he gave you his special smile, specifically reserved for you.
“do you always have to look like that?” you asked.
“like what?” he smirked and you could tell he was anticipating for your answer.
you turned your head towards minhyun’s direction and ignored seongwu’s attempt to get you flustered, “looks like no movie tonight.”
“you can go with seongwu,” daniel suggested.
“yeah, you can always go with me,” seongwu squished closer to you.
“daniel, please come along too,” you looked pass seongwu and onto daniel.
“hey, why can’t two friends go to the movies together?” seongwu got in daniel’s way and asked you, “unless you don’t see me as a friend then it shouldn’t be a problem.”
“i don’t see you as a friend––wait, i mean i do. i––we––listen, we’re nothing.”
you sure sounded firm.
seongwu’s smile grew and that only meant he was completely indulged at this moment. the little stuttering you were doing? he was living for that.
“then there wouldn’t be a problem going together,” he shrugged.
“just date already,” daniel muttered only making your cheeks rosy and seongwu’s entertainment heightened.
“this is not a date,” you assured.
“so, we’re going?” seongwu’s eyes gleamed.
“yes,” you then thought for a moment and realized what you answer, “no! wait, no, unless daniel comes w––”
“i’ll pick you up at 8pm,” he didn’t give you a chance to answer him and pitched your cheeks real quick before running off, “8pm!”
“what? wait, hey! ong!” you shouted and got up from your seat, tripping over your own feet going after him.
minhyun and jaehwan looked at you two, shaking their heads.
“i never thought i’d see the day where y/n would be running after him,” jaehwan chuckled.
like it was clockwork, seongwu was outside your apartment building, leaning against his car with a single flower in hand. he was oddly punctual. from what you’ve heard, he was always late for class, club meetings, and even a hang out with the guys. but with you? he’s always right on time or five minutes early.
“i told you that you didn’t need to give me flowers,” you said as you stuffed your hands inside your jacket pockets to keep warm.
“i know,” he said as he pushed himself off his car and towards you, “so i got you one.”
seongwu always stared at you like you’re the only person he knew.
“don’t look at me like that, seongwu,” you pressed your lips together and glanced down at your shoes before looking back up at him.
“i can look at you a billion times and not get sick of you,” he said as if it wasn’t the cheesiest line you’ve ever heard come out of his mouth.
“i dont understand why you even like me,” you took the flower out of his hand and walked around to get into the front seat.
getting inside himself, seongwu answered you, “because you’re you and you make me feel different.”
“stop spitting lines you’ve heard from romantic movies.”
your heart was thumping and you didn’t know why. maybe your head was actually processing that it was just the two of you for once. you were in his car and he was playing tunes from his phone. from time to time, he’d look over at you to check if you’re still on earth.
he liked the look you have on your face when you’re in your own little world. you’d stare at one thing, so focused that your brows are kind of scrunched up.
“they’re not just lines,” he said after ten minutes from your last line.
“what?” you gave him your attention, waking yourself from your thoughts.
“the lines i tell you, they’re not just lines,” he started off, “and the flowers... i catch you drawing daisies and sunflowers when you don’t want to finish an assignment. they’re perfect flowers that suit you.”
“seongwu––”
“i do like you, you know,” he continued and you let him, “i like... everything about you. i like when i tease you and you kind of trip on your own words. i like that you say no to me yet you still always show up. i like that you don’t smile to just anyone. so when i do make you smile, i feel so lucky. i just like you but i kind of fear you don’t take my feelings seriously.”
for the first time, you stare at seongwu. you take in every detail of him. his small lips, smooth skin, pierced ears, straight lashes, soft eyes, strong hands... then he smiled and you realized that it was nice too.
“i know,” you said softly as if you were scared he’d hear you, “but...”
you’re scared. it was too far from what you knew. too new. too raw.
“did your last boyfriend scar you?” he asked you sincerely. no humor in his voice which made you feel more humiliated.
“no,” you simply answered and did not go further into details, but he was smart and caught on.
“have you been in a relationship before?”
the question had your eyes widened and your ears perked. how did he know? you thought.
“i... no,” your voice softened even more.
“are you scared?” he asked as he reached out for your hand. making sure he doesn’t go too fast, he only played with your fingers as he drove.
you kind of liked it.
“probably,” you were unsure yourself.
“do you... like me?” he asked you cautiously. he feared an answer he’d hate to hear.
“i like this... right now... kind of.”
as you answered, he intertwined your fingers with his. they were warm, you noted.
“you know, whenever you talk, my heart rate quickens,” he tried to laugh it off then led your hand to his chest, “feel that? it’s super fast because it’s exciting to hear you talk and for me to actually know how you’re feeling.”
“ong, you’re making me nervous,” you frowned and took your hand away from his chest.
“sorry,” he sheepishly laughed, “but can i still hold your hand?”
why was he asking such embarrassing questions?
you don’t answer and seongwu was disappointed... for a whole two seconds before you slipped your own fingers into his.
seongwu was just by your side and he felt lucky.
“how was the movie last night?” minhyun asked you.
“it was good,” you kept your answer to a minimal.
“and seongwu?” he raised his brow.
you stopped your busy hands and looked over a minhyun. “what about seongwu?” you asked.
“how was seongwu?”
“seongwu was... seongwu,” you pursed your lips and went back to your book to distract yourself from the thought of last night.
not even twenty minutes later, you gathered your things and excused yourself from the table. the moment you turned to leave, you saw ong seongwu walking in and talking to the librarian, probably asking her if she’s seen you.
she pointed right at you and you only quickly smiled at her before charging yourself towards the exit. you didn’t want to talk to seongwu right now. not after last night.
not much even happened, other that small talk and hand holding in the car. you guys watched the movie and he took you home and watched you walk into your apartment building. seongwu didn’t kiss you or force to do anything you didn’t like. so basically, nothing happened after the car ride.
you were just overthinking the events of last night. for example, before the kiss scene, you were comfortably resting your head on your palm towards seongwu’s side. but as soon as that scene started, you curled back into the center of your seat, thinking about whether seongwu was going to kiss you that night. series of imaginations of what ifs had you spinning in circles and probably screwing yourself over.
simply, you were confusing yourself. you didn’t know what you wanted (or rather you were scared of what you wanted), which lead to a string of lies to yourself.
you were lying to yourself.
“y/n,” he called your name as if he was breathless like you made him breathless.
you stopped your trail and you were debating with yourself again. do you just say ‘bye’ and try to dip like how you always did before yesterday or do you simple, greet him, and walk out the door?
your lips curled shyly at him. unknowingly, you chose option two. he, of course, followed along with you.
“did you sleep well?” he asked.
why is he asking that?
“sort of,” you mumbled and from the corner of your eye, you can see him smiling to himself.
“i hardly slept. i’m running on caffeine right now,” he said as he raised his (nasty) cup of americano.
“i genuinely don’t know how you drink those,” you frowned, thinking back at the time you tasted the horrid drink, “why couldn’t you sleep anyway?”
“it’s not for the taste,” he chuckled, “and i couldn’t sleep because reality is actually getting better than dreams.”
that had your head turning.
“i think you like me,” he blatantly admitted, “you just don’t know it.”
you kind of did know. you just didn’t want to acknowledge it. but now that he was pinning at the fact, you had to face it. you shifted uncomfortably as your hands clenched to help the contractions that was coming from your pulse.
he was getting better at this whole heart flipping thing.
because you didn’t say anything and just had a deep look in your eyes, he went on, “i think you like me, but you don’t know if you want to. so, i just thought i’d try and ask...”
you blinked. he was holding back. he was nervous. he was scared (too).
“will you go on a date with me? like one where we can talk a lot and not just sit and watch a movie, worrying about what the other is thinking?” he finally spatted out, “i mean––it can be anything you want, if you want it to be another movie date, i’m okay with that. i just want to spend time with you.”
the constraints in your chest were getting worse.
“i––” you started but quickly cancelled because you were distracted by him staring at you intensely for an answer, “okay.”
god, you’re nervous and clammy. you hated this feeling, but you don’t. at least, right there and then.
“w––wait,” he stuttered (for what you think was the first time), “for real? yes?”
seongwu’s eyes never sparkled as they did then. he wasn’t sure what to expect from asking you out. maybe a little push-and-pull, but you just said ‘okay’.
you nodded, confirming that you were being ‘for real’.
he dove in for hug so tight that he carried and spun you around out of pure excitement. when he placed you down, he cupped your warm cheeks and grinned so widely down at you before going in for a kiss.
you felt the fireworks throughout your entire body. you weren’t even sure if you could stand so your fingers gripped on his sleeves tightly.
his thumb caressed your jawline throughout the kiss. his lips were surprisingly nice against yours and his nose brushing at the apples of your cheeks.
you were far from your comfort zone.
when he lets go, he remembered a small important detail: you probably never kissed anyone before.
his ear to ear smile disappeared as he looked at how out of breath you were.
“shit––i fucked up, didn’t i? was i going too fast? i won’t kiss you anymore if you don’t want me to. y/n... are you okay? i’m so sorry,” he brushed out all the hair out of your face and searched for any signs of regret, “you can cancel that date and i’ll understand completely... even if i don’t really want that to happen.”
“no,” you simply replied, with your fingers still wrapped into his sleeves, “i liked it.”
you were red from the small confession, looking down as if you were a kid about to be punished. seongwu pulled you into his chest, letting you bury your embarrassment there.
“i feel like the more i get to know you, the deeper the hole i’m digging for myself,” he chuckled and you felt the vibrations against your face, “i’m so fucking whipped and we haven’t been on our first date yet.”
although you’re still uncertain about a lot of things that were going on right now, you were uncomfortably comfortable.
