Season 2 Lovesquare was really on another level. I mean, each side of the square each got their moment to shine and some of the best lovesquare moments are from that season.
Ladrien mid-air catch? A Season 2 Gem. Marichat's first canon balcony scene? A feature from season 2. Ladynoir cheek kiss and the first time Ladybug blushes over Chat Noir? Why, that's from season 2 of course. Adrinette sneaking around Paris together while everyone thinks they're dating? A wonderful gift from season 2...
And that's but a small fraction of the lovesquare interaction we got that season
Season 2 was really onto something there...

💥 i'm curious
💥What is one canon thing that you wish you could change?
Well, if it just one thing...
I think Merlin and Morgana should have had a proper showdown. Because after Morgana discovers Merlin is Emrys, she takes away his magic and... laughs in his face a little before trapping him in a cave? That wasn't very satisfying, in my opinion (yes, I get that Merlin getting sealed in a cave is a reference to Arthurian legend).
I just wish they had written a more extended scene for their final confrontation. We deserved it after all that build-up. Like, it's basic rules of storytelling.

i think it's very symbolic and ironic how mew rises from the water since water (i'm using the ocean as a better metaphor for this) is deep and mysterious. what we see on the surface is only 1% of what is really down there. so i think it's a very smart scene composition, as well as a change of momentum for mew's character as his real personality, emerges after that cathartic moment.
so what we're about to see in the next few weeks is the mew that has always been hiding underneath, the 'devils' that he keeps at bay. in a twisted way, i think this reflects top's personality as well— an eye for an eye, top has always been. he's nice to people who are nice to him and vice versa. so mew will be this way too. but i think the scariest part about mew is we don't know what to expect since he's full of surprises as well.
i've always known mew is something else and i'm glad episode 6 is the headstart of his transformation. i can't wait to see more shades of mew delicately and thoroughly executed by p'book. for me, this is stellar acting, indeed.

im curious...what is neverafter
hm damn how do I explain this. It's a college humor/dropout exclusive horror dnd show based on fairytales/the brother's grimm. Neverafter is the shows name but also the name of the collection of kingdoms that make up the world the characters live in. The Neverafter has entered 'The Times of Shadow' so like all the stories have become fucked up and twisted (versions of their original in universe stories I assume) including the player characters' and they all have their own curses (ex. all of sleeping beauty's princes died + little red being a werewolf + whatever's happening with pinnochio). Times of Shadow also made it where all the tales ca interact with one another cause I think before it was all separate. Main characters are the 3 I just mentioned before and also the frog prince, puss in boots(pib), and mother goose. There's more to it than what I'm saying but idk if it's anything i could say that isnt big spoilers??

how the heCK am i supposed to sleep after that O HH WOW!! WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!! now THAT THAT IS HOW YOU TELL A STORY !!!!!!! the complete erosion of faith and trust in each other - they splinter outwards with cerrit trying desperately to save his family in his non-magical understanding of the city and it’s people [and FUCK WOW how brennan described that decision, that i’m going to spread like butter on toast] and the friends, what they see in the tree and the very purposefully choice to say ‘husband’ over ex-husband when asking who laerynn is looking at an d the love
the choice, to do that out of LOVE when, because, because this is a story about love and loving things too deeply and literally, literally tearing the world asunder for the people you cherish above the world itself.
and patia
in the middle
her and cerrit seeing the fight picking /vastly/ different routes.
there is not a single doubt in my mind that they love their friends with their entire beings and cerrit chose to let them brawl it out - and patia chose to remove the temptation by getting to the core of it.
and
it all became that anyways.
incredibly selfish decisions indeed. or was it love?

It's Sunday, which means it's time for my predictions/wishes for the new episode! The fact that we only have 3 more episodes left is unbelievable, I feel as if this season has just started! Here are my predictions/wishes for the new episode:
• Owen's trip to see his Dad will help with his anger problems.
• Grace is going to receive the call about Judd and she will help Wyatt about what he should do.
• Judd is going to live, but he's not going to come back to the 126 until the last episode.
• Nancy and Mateo are going to officially start dating.
• Hopefully we get a little bit of Tarlos content, since the episode is called shiftless🤞🏻
And those are my predictions/wishes for the new episode! I will reblog Monday night saying how many I got right!
