OnlyFans fully restores accounts of Russian creators they locked out during the war in Ukraine
Tumblr media
Russian OnlyFans creators whose account was blocked during the Russian invasion of Ukraine have now regained access to their content and funds, according to reports.
Several Russian OnlyFans creators found they were unable to collect their income or log into their accounts after Russia launched its attack on Ukraine last week, according to The Daily Beast. Many users sell access to personal photo and video content on the platform, which can often be their main source of income.
"I woke up and got this message from @onlyfans @OnlyFansSupport," wrote a Russian OnlyFans creator named Kanra in a since-deleted tweet archived by The Daily Beast. "They decided to delete my account without warning! I had money there and I couldn't live without them."
"Why are they doing this to ordinary people?! You decided to destroy our lives??!" added the content creator.
A 21-year-old creator told the outlet that losing access to his OnlyFans account meant he could no longer "buy food or pay my rent."
"I've taken part in several protests since I moved to Moscow when I was 18," the designer told the Daily Beast. “We are not Putin! All my prayers for peace and the Ukrainian people.
London-based OnlyFans did not immediately respond to PEOPLE's request for comment.
