I digged up something I thought I would never found...

I found one of my first OCs! I remember watching Onward in 2021 with my friend at a sleepover. I changed phones and I though I would never find it but look!

Turns out my friend found it on her old acc on Discord. Should I redraw her? Maybe I will.

hi star!! you can call me ginny or anna(like the princess!)

ginny is literally just me in the onward world. she's very bubbly and kind of awkward at times. she's basically a perfect mix of ian and barley because i am too! she's very passionate and talks a lot, sometimes way too loud, but at the same time can be anxious and stumble over her words. literally she is like anna from frozen! (anna is my main fictionkin) she's what i call a mother hen, she cares very deeply for those around her and can be somewhat overbearing sometimes(she embarrasses ian A LOT because of it haha). think kinda like mei mei's mom in turning red, but the positive parts of her.

her full name is guinevere stonelight, but i didnt intend for it to be. i got her first name from one of my favorite harry potter characters, ginny weasley. but when i told my best friend she pointed out that her name could be guinevere to have a connection to barley! her name was one of the main reasons that barley started talking to her and over time he realized how alike they were and adored it.

i play her as a dnd character as well and she is a druid princess from the kingdom of scanlonia(i thought i was clever).

ginny is a year and a half between ian and barley in age. although in real life i am older than both of them(23), i thought it would be better for her to be right between them in age because i love them both dearly. it's so hard for me to choose between them! ian is my favorite for sure, but barley is just so darling in so many ways and i love him too.

ginny is the weakness to ian, she's the only one who he lets call him iandore or her embarrassing yet sweet nickname for him, "sweetness." he softens around her completely differently than he does around anyone else. :)

i haven't come up with a whole backstory or anything for her yet because she's just me, but an elf girl. i've written a few short stories about her with both ian and barley which is super fun for me. it's one way to be connected to them.

but yeah! that's all i can think of at the moment but i sure would love to talk about stuff like this more with you or anyone else in the fandom!!
