Random Metal Family au time.

Just a universe where there is a zombie apocalypse and the lifestyle of “just stay alive and otherwise fuck around” ends up fitting really well for Dee.

Like yeah, boo zombies, but high expectations and society are worse when you really think about it.

Dee is smart enough to figure out the essentials quickly. And the end result is a surprisingly, and maybe quite horrifyingly, cheery teenager.

He ends up living with some friends in a small little plot of land, while doing regular trips to the city to stock food and such. And he doesn’t even think those are all that bad.

Like maybe the rest of the fam could have been out of town or something and Dee left alone for the time and then the place gets quarantined. The fam thinks he’s dead and then when the zombies have rotted away and the quarantine is lifted, they end up finding each other. It’s all angst and shit, and the others are also really confused how Dee seems to have just lived his best life while the world was burning.

Sure this might go against is usual characterisation a bit, but I find it hilarious and no one can stop me. He can have a mental breakdown or something to explain the weirdness. That worked for Glam at least. Runs in the family I suppose.

I stan a burntout Queen.

Mostly this blog is for 'fun', crack posts and I try not to be 'too serious' over here. However, there are some elements I want to touch on.

I write Lilith as her basically serving as 'sole' ruler of Hell from time to time. I imagine Lucifer's mental health -whether it's depression or other issues factored in- has carried on prior to the series, possibly even prior to his and Lilith's separation.

As loveable and great Lucifer is as a character is, he is more of an artistic soul, a free thinker and a dreamer. He's got big plans, ideas and lofty ambitions, but I believe it's Lilith who took it on herself to make his...and initially both of their ideas a reality.

Lucifer -and possibly Lilith too- might have agreed to the culling as a truce with Heaven- I'll get into the whole they were infertile and were only 'granted' permission to have Charlie if they came to an agreement some other time

As for the daily nitty-gritty though, Lilith had a direct hands into it. At all times. Lucifer might treat being King like a 'job', perhaps even a burden or an obligation he didn't sign up for; to Lilith being Queen is her passion. She, like Charlie, loves her people and wants to do her best for them.

The Overlord system is both a blessing and a curse for her, because Lilith is aware it's in place by her and Lucifer so Heaven wouldn't think they were amassing power to rise up (ie by hoarding all the Fallen Souls). Instead, the Rings are managed by Sins and Princes/Princesses/Hell-born Royalty, and internally Rings have Overlords (or Imp/Hellhound/Incubi/Sucubi etc equivalents)

Therefore, Lilith can pity a Sinner's plight for being under the pressure and weight of an unfair contract. But she can't do anything. Even as the Queen of Hell to revoke or break a contract would be offending the Overlord and transfer the soul over to her.

However, that is difficult to communicate to someone who's hurting/suffering from their contract, so Liilth can't spend much time around Sinners...before they start asking her for things. Even the smallest favor is another burden placed on her.

And I joke that prior to the 'seven year' absence she's never had a vacation, but that might actually be the case. It might be hundreds or even thousands of years of this cycle that she NEVER got a break from.

So yeah, burnout incarnate.

So, I’m beginning to feel better. I still don’t feel great as I’m in minor physical pain but still better than I was before. Due to this I’m gonna be beginning to ease back into doing stuff.

I’ll likely do some ooc stuff and some posts I think I kina need to make first before easing back into ic stuff. So hopefully I’ll potentially be able to start going back ic by tonight or tomorrow depending on if I end up feeling better or worse after doing the other stuff.
