#FINALLY. TOOK ME TWO FUCKEN DAYS TO DRAW THIS DUDE #I made it way too detailed cause I wanted em to look fancy but I’m probably gonna simplify it any time I draw them anyway shfjgsg #i changed my mind way too many times trying tk figure out Colors for them. I’m actually happy with how this came out!!!! #if you squint the sash and jinbu is a reference to sailor HEHE.. I tried to make it stand out without contrasting too much so you can tell #-that it’s not part of Xins aesthetic more like a piece of him they carry around with them <3 they make me ILL #I should also mention they can’t nock arrows for shit. they just use em to stab and cut things apart hence the lack of a bow #it was left by one of the scholars before the island was abandoned so they were like ooh stabby stabby #I just realized I put braces on both their arms and legs but I’m too tired to do anything abt it. i looove how girly astarion and gale are… like i fully believe they have catty arguments where one of them runs out of rebuttals and says WELL YOU’RE FAT and the other man just gasps and rips one of his expensive blouses. when they arent arguing they have a big chaise lounge called the fainting chair and they have to take turns with it

#i just… ooh #and i love how intentional it is #with all the inverted tropes present (dramatic wizard - fancy rogue) #its nice to see it sort of transfer to gender tropes as well #like most of the men (halsin being the exception) are pretty puny and small #and seemingly very preoccupied with their appearance or their devotion/service to another character #while the women have their own goals and faiths that arent necessarily attached to one character from the get-go #agh. i love it. bless the writers and artists of this game #bg3

[💭] About ocs...

I've been wanting to tell more people about my ocs so i was wondering if i should (once i make/finish my refs for my mains) open some sort of blog orr open my asks for them?

i will try to provide refs, give context/backstory, etc about them sometime but like.. yeah that's pretty much it!

TLDR: i want to talk about my sillies, can i talk about my sillies?

(also i'm working on my toyhouse account but idk how well that's perceived? i worry a lot wahawha)

i'm pretty much starved from ranting about ocs from my own faults as i normally only really talk about them with friends than people who i may not be as close/familiar with.

because of that i always leave out context that may be important for someone else to understand the story behind my ocs.

and i've noticed that when i do that people become uninterested or i confuse the hell out of the person.

i want to try and stop that pretty much.

i've always saw ask blogs of people's ocs and how sometimes they'd get dubbed and- i've always wanted to have that (not so much the dubbed part but-) and i don't know how well that fits with the sky community especially.. i have a ton of world headcannons i also need to fit in..

if you've read this lil part then- hi and- where do you think i should start? i have a ao3 but again i don't know how well that's perceived & my toyhouse is still a wip, so?
