She is a menace to everyone she has ever met. She digs holes in her friends' lives for fun. Seeker of pity, pity revenge. Makes men's lives insufferable. Has tried multiple times to kill her twin brother, burned her college roommate, had a male stripper unknowingly strip on his estranged daughter just because he insinuated that she was his rock bottom. She grew up rich, so has moments of being snarky and spoiled. Her favorite word is 'c*cksucker'. She says she feels special because she is the only woman in her friend group and says she hates other women and the only way for women to thrive is if they race against each other (all this sexism is because of her friend group and family but i shan't elaborate lest i won't stop) She lies to her therapist about her life constantly just to see if she will believe it, also broke a lot of plates and glasses in said therapist's office. Her wiki page for crimes committed speaks for itself, but she is just more of an asshole and a prick.

Ankh

He stole a cop's body and refused to give it back, he steals ice cream from kids and eats it in front of them, he endangers random bank tellers by letting the monster loose in their building run rampant without letting his lackey fight it. Pretty much the worst Birb you've ever seen. Oh yeah 800 years ago he betrayed all his friends and he'll do it again :) I forgot abt his threats to the other main characters' lives bc he does that so often but yeah he does that too! Ankh is 3 edgy 5 u or w/e the kids say. But he is the gayest

When Sundowner falls, he falls hard.

Though it’s not fast, it’s more “all-at-once”, he’s known you for a while and considers the two of you to be fairly close.

Then you do something different one day, you smile at him especially fondly or side with him in a debate, something small no one else would’ve batted an eye at.

And yet, it’s his tipping point. Suddenly, he can’t help but notice all the little details, your little habits or the particular way you part your hair, maybe he’ll start memorizing your favorite things when they come up in conversation

When he’s alone, he’ll put on music that reminds him of you, or your time together, it puts him in a better mood, especially if it’s something you recommended to him.

Arthur breathes deeply but slowly, hands resting atop himself as he stares up at the ceiling. He’s exhausted, who knows the last time he’s been able to sleep— and it’s all the harder to stay awake with someone so comforting by his side. He doesn’t want to keep her up, but… he doesn’t want to let himself slip, either. He’s not ready for the nightmares.

“Hey, Vi—“

His soft voice crackles, and he clears it before trying again.

“Vivs..?” He doesn’t turn his head, her shifting in the bed next to him tells him well enough that she just might be awake still. He keeps his voice quiet, though, just in case. “Have you been feeling… weird, lately? Like something’s changed or different, but you just don’t know what it is..? It might just be me.” A soft sigh, he rubs at the side of his face with his prosthetic, hoping the cool metal would ease him just a bit.

The soft hisses of the light blanket swishing against the bedsheets quietly answered the mechanic’s faint whispers.  A low, squeaky groan of the bed’s old springs quickly followed suit, a brief creak of the bed springs protesting at the sudden shifting of weights.  Just from the corners of the fellow’s eyes, an eye straining tint of blue lingered and moved about from the edges of his view.  For a moment, only the silent ticking of the bedroom’s clock filled in the silence that hung about the wavering air.  Tick, tock, tick, tock, tick… What was exactly going on with his friend’s side of the bed?  Did he accidentally wake her, or was she just shifting in response to his feeble calls?

As if sensing the unnerving energy that was just starting to build up about this messy room, a tiny, cool hand lazily plopped itself upon his own; a familiar, comforting set of fingers already going to entangle itself about the mechanic’s in that moment.  Vivi, despite answering her companion’s words with an incomprehensible grumble, instinctively squeezed Arthur’s only fleshy hand without a second thought.  Squinting her eyes (being about as blind as a bat without her glasses) in the dark as she laid there upon her side, her hair messily spread out over her own borrowed pillow.  She shut her eyes for a moment before allowing a tired yawn to escape her.  Smacking her lips, she let out a light sigh.  “.. I’m up, Sunshine.”  She finally broke her own silent wall.

For another moment, she seemed to pause at her companion’s words.  Her hand was already starting to warm up against Arthur’s skin.  Still, even then, the linger cold felt like an old friend.

“.. Hmm.”  She hummed aloud.  “It kinda depends on what ya talkin about exactly, Artie.”    

“We always got something weird happening, be it outta town or not.”  She promptly answered with another yawn.  “I’m guessing ya can’t exactly sleep tonight either.  Huh?”

He was in full uniform sitting at his desk and you thought your heart had stopped but you walked over to him in awe. “Ooo who’s this handsome fella” You walk around his chair and run a hand over his shoulders “Have I ever told you how sexy you look in your gear?” You rasp into his ear and a shiver runs down his body

Gaz

It was a sunny day out and you were filling up the picnic basket with yours and Kyles favourites. You could hear him coming downstairs so you closed the basket to hide the surprise you have and turned around to face the kitchen door. Your eyes focused on the beautiful man in front of you and you swear you melted. “You look so good babe!” You walked over to him with the biggest smile on your face and gave him a quick kiss before he pulled you into a passionate one.

Ghost

Simon had just come home from deployment and you two were caught up in bed together. You rolled onto his chest with your legs straddling his waist. You look deep into his eyes and smile “What?” You place a hand on his cheek and stroke it softly “You’ve got really nice eyes” you giggle and he rolls his eyes before rolling you over and onto your back before going in for a kiss.

Alejandro

It was your anniversary with Alejandro and he told you to dress up nice and you were currently waiting for him to come downstairs. You were reading something on your phone and then heard the sound of whistling “Mi Amor~ you look” you put up a hand to stop him and he gives you a look before placing his hands on your hips “Can’t I please compliment my love?” You shake your head at him and he pouts dramatically “Anyway, you look so handsome tonight” you say and it’s his turn to shake his head as he knows you’ll never change.

more royal dragons, this time the ones from arc 2/3! these were really fun, and the previous designs helped me get comfortable with more detailed jewelry designs, so these are a bit more extravagant.

design notes under the cut!

RUBY: i didn't realize how young she really is when i read escaping peril the first time, i thought she was in her mid-twenties at least but apparently she's only 12/17? wild. anyways i made her ruby red with some orange accents to point to tourmaline. her tiara is meant to look like laurels, studded with rubies, and the gems on her brows and wings are citrine.

GLORY: i already had a design for her, i just touched it up a bit here. she's very pretty, but her scales are notably duller than my other rainwing designs. she has pouches she wears around her neck because she likes to be prepared and is trying to connect more to her culture. at least one of those pockets has snacks for silver. the flower on her ear is a plumeria india, one of my favorite flowers.

THORN: easily my favorite design in the set, oh my god i love how she came out. she has the same colors as my sunny design but desaturated, and almost the same markings. her jewelry is mostly gold with onyx and lapis lazuli insets. the design for the eye of onyx is inspired by @dragonsndoodles's design, which looks absolutely gorgeous and way more elegant than the graphic novel version.

SNOWFALL: i think i made her too round and soft-looking? idk i think she's cute though. i definitely had to get those pale sunset colors in there, and she has similar colors/markings to glacier. the tiara is one she found in the treasury after the racism crown™ was destroyed, and the shawl was a gift from luna as a thanks for helping her tribe. silk doesn't help much against the cold, but it sure is pretty.

WASP: SCARY BITCH. i had to mess with her colors a lot, i wanted to make her kinda greenish with red accents but it just was NOT working. i do like where i ended up though. i don't know that she would wear much jewelry, probably more armor than anything else, but i wanted to do hivewing jewelry so here we are. the neck piece was really fun to design. these are steel and gold with amber and peridot accents, and the cape is silk with gold embroidery. i have this headcanon of her having breath of evil growing out of her like a cordyceps fungus, and she uses the cape to cover the tendrils on her back.

SEQUOIA: ooo she was a challenge, i'm not great at designs with a lot of green or a lot of dark colors so she was fun. her colors are inspired by @daily-wof-designs, and the brown tones were pulled from pictures of giant sequoias. she wears braided leather straps hung with aquamarine, and the scarf might be silk? or some kind of natural fiber? i'm not sure. but it has leaf designs and is probably batik dyed (which is super cool btw look it up)
