Two days after pairing she laid this ootheca. Hopefully it's fertile!

As of December 2nd, we have BABY BUDWINGS!!! Chomp passed on November 21st. Rest in peace, my man. You did good.

i have had a low grade headache and a low grade sore throat since my vaccine booster on tuesday. nothing disabling, just uncomfortable and annoying. chicken wings did not improve either of these symptoms

also, somewhere in my archives there are pictures of a real praying mantis ootheca that my kids and i hatched and more pictures of all the pretty babies, but all i can find right now is this picture of fallie with pretzel, one of the babies after she was all grown up
