It wasn’t the first time that James woke up in the middle of the night because of a restless Lily going to the bathroom. This time, he didn’t even put his glasses on to see if she needed some help or any potion. Lily then told him she was pregnant, right there, in their pyjamas, worried and scared. Even though James was just as scared, something about his reassuring voice gave Lily all the strength she needed at that moment.
