My father was a street rat or rather a thief who would spend much of his time stealing food to survive. But never harmed any innocent people. Oh sure, a few guards would get humiliated from time to time, but they kind of deserved it at times.

He then met my mother, fell in love, found a wish granting genie, defeated a crazy old man, freed the genie, and married my mother. While also going through so many adventures. Adventures that they would tell me since I was little.

As the golden sun dipped below the horizon, casting a warm orange glow across the enchanting garden, a gentle breeze whispered among the flowers. It was in this moment that Rosetta decided to take human form to immerse herself in the beauty she had created. She incanted the ancient spell and soon stood before a mirror, hands smoothing over the flowing emerald dress, her wings hidden from view. Smiling, she stepped outside into the garden, her senses alive with anticipation. She walked delicately along the stone pathway, her eyes sparkling with wonder as she marveled at the blooming roses and vibrant tulips. Her fingertips brushed the petals as she whispered her secret enchantments. Suddenly, she heard a rustling sound and turned with a started expression, wondering if someone had been watching her.

Heels clicked aggressively against the hardwood floor as Maleficent stormed passed her guards and into her bed chambers. She was furious after the meeting she’d just had, those lowly peasants trying too get her to make changes to her kingdom. No, she would not allow them to dictate what she did. She refused to be bossed around by anyone, let alone those poor subjects. She could not show weakness in front of them. She’d heard the stories of queens who let their emotions show. She knew how it ended for them and she absolutely would not allow that to happen to her. She was their queen, and she would remain as such until her dying day. Letting out a frustrated sigh, Maleficent pulled off the bodice of her gown. It was only when she dropped the fabric to the floor that she felt it. Someone else was in the room with her, she could tell, and they were slowly creeping up on her. She’d have to do something about those imbecile guards. Using slow movements, Maleficent reached beneath her skirt and pulled out the dagger she always kept strapped to her thigh — for emergencies such as this. Suddenly, she spun around, stopping the dagger inches from the intruder’s throat. “You have ten seconds to tell me why you’re here before I slice that pretty neck of yours.”
