Oprah Winfrey Announces 9 City Arena Tour For 2020
Oprah Winfrey has announced a nine-city arena tour for 2020, her first national dates in five years. Oprah’s 2020 Vision: Your Life in Focus ostensibly will focus on health and wellness and is sponsored by WW (Weight Watchers Reimagined).
The tour runs from January 4 through March, but the larger question will be how political its content will be. At that point, the somewhat lackluster Democratic presidential candidate pool will be gearing up for the party’s first political primaries. The outsize influence of media mogul Winfrey undoubtedly will see whomever is in the top five of contenders at that stage jockeying for an appearance at the event and, potentially, an endorsement. Winfrey campaigned heavily for Barack Obama in 2008 and Georgia gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams in 2018, and endorsed Hillary Clinton in 2016.
“What I know for sure is we can all come together to support a stronger, healthier, more abundant life — focused on what makes us feel energized, connected and empowered,” Winfrey said in a statement. “As I travel the country, my hope for this experience is to motivate others to let 2020 be the year of transformation and triumph — beginning first and foremost with what makes us well. This is the year to move forward, let’s make it happen in 2020!”
Winfrey’s announcement said she will share “her wellness journey” and guides attendees “to develop their own action plan through motivating conversations, the latest in wellness research and interactive exercises.” The plan is for each city to feature a different lineup of guests and a “signature interview” with Winfrey and a big-name guest.
Tour proceeds over $1 million will benefit WW Good, the philanthropic arm of WW that helps bring fresh, healthy food to underserved communities across the country.
The tour dates are as follows:
Saturday Jan. 4: Ft. Lauderdale, FL — BB&T Center
Saturday Jan. 11: St. Paul, MN — Xcel Energey Center
Saturday Jan. 18: Charlotte, NC — Spectrum Center
Saturday Jan. 25: Atlanta — State Farm Arena
Saturday Feb. 8: Brooklyn — Barclays Center
Saturday Feb. 15: Dallas — American Airlines Center
Saturday Feb. 22: San Francisco — Chase Center
Saturday Feb. 29: Los Angeles — The Forum
Saturday March 7: Denver — Pepsi Center
Tickets are on sale Monday exclusively to WW customers. American Express will have an exclusive window the next day. Public tickets go on sale September 13 via Ticketmaster.

Oprah - Can You Hear Me - 6 -Does Oprah Need to Man-Up

According to Oprah all your arguments come down to these three questions:
1. Did you hear me?
2. Did you see me?
3. Did what I say mean anything to you?
If the answers are no... there's likely going to be a problem.  She has spoken to over 30,000 people, and they all had one thing in common: they all wanted validation.

No Billionaires in Politics!
youtube
If anyone of my American friends and followers has seen some posts about the idea and problem of Oprah running for the White House in 2020, then you should see this. Now I know as a celebrity, she’s quite harmless and her speech at the Golden Globes was very inspiring especially for all the women who have been victimized over the years due to constant sexual harassments in the work field and I am open for the idea of not only a woman president but a POC woman as a world leader...but there’s still a major problem here that people who support this idea and even the politics who support the idea of Oprah running don’t get. Oprah Winfrey is part of the establishment, she is rich, she is a celebrity, she has a brand around her name, the same kind of person who despite millions of people crying out that Donald Trump should not be president because he is those things as well, became president regardless.
Don’t you think its ironic that people want her running for the white house just cause of that speech even though she’s in the same position as Trump BEFORE he became president? Sure we know she’s not racist and isn’t a bigoted man-child like the spray tanned orangutan is, but seriously America. We don’t even know what her policies are! Is she for medicare for all? Free college and tuition? Battling climate change? Ending wars? Stop supplying weapons to terrorists? For all we know for all the cries of “Oprah 2020!” is blinded that the idea that despite some good intentions she can easily be persuaded by corporate apologists and billionaire donors if she is not already in league with them. In short, she is much more likeable than Trump by a LONG shot, but if she does campaign and win, nothing will change as she’ll keep the status quo going about the rich robbing the poor. I made a hashtag on twitter that I know is not much now but I hope it will catch on for not just America but for any other country who gets this same problem. The people need actual politics who will fight for them with actual policies, not just with speeches to make us feel good. Oprah’s speech was spot on, but I worry she won’t follow up on them if she’s not serious about helping America. So if anyone is concerned about this issue and anyone else relating to the current president and future candidates. Tell your representatives, political parties and anyone you can in the corporate media: NO BILLIONAIRES IN POLITICS! #nobillionairesinpolitics
