Long story short, I found out central heterochromia (two different colors in the same iris) today at work.

See the goldish color around my pupil? Apparently that’s heterochromia. 🤷🏻‍♀️

fun fact about me:

I have two last names (mom's then dad's) and back in middle school it was a huge hassle to deal with. I have a good handful of stories on how ridiculous it got but one comes to mind in particular.

So back in the 7th grade I was feeling sick and had to be sent to the nurse's office. When I got there my temp was checked and I had a fever high enough to be sent home. The nurse needed to pull up my file and she asked for my last name to find it and I was all like: "Oh I have two last names, M D." She asks for my which one was my father's last name, I tell her D, and she starts searching. After 10 minutes of looking, she still hasn't found it, so I tell her that the order of my last names is M then D. This woman looks me in the eyes and asks if I was sure if that was the correct order.

...Yes? What do you mean 'if I'm sure'??? THEY'RE MY LAST NAMES. And she was STILL suspicious about it and kept looking my dad's last name until she found my file 20 minutes later. It turns out that it took so long because my mom's last name was first in the file like I said.

It's been like 6 years since and I'm still salty about this.
