Yandere!Toby x Reader General Hcs

With Toby, I feel like he is less of the stereotypical yandere

He isn't like Ayano Aishi, or Yuno Gasai, his obssession is more desperate if that makes sense

For example, the people listed above spend their time protecting their beloved or making sure nothing comes between them

Toby however, spends his time doting on you (or the idea of you), stealing things from you, sending yearning love notes, etc

He doesn't truly have a desire to hurt people when it comes to you, he more so just wants to keep you around him at all times and stare at you like an animal in a zoo

But if it came down to it, and he felt like he had no other option, he isn't above killing someone for you

Whilst stalking you, he will spend his time aimlessly following you around like a lovesick puppy, picking up any trash you may drop and cherishing it forever

He will sneak into your home while you sleep, crawling into your bed with you and being ever so careful to cuddle you in a way you won't wake up and notice him

Once he's able to convince himself that he should get up, he will go around your house, smelling your clothes, looking at what snacks you like the best, and making a mental note of what soaps you use so he can buy them and smell just like you

He will also steal some clothes every now and then, but he feels bad about taking something from you so he won't do it often

You will be scratching your head, wondering where on earth that one t-shirt went, and Toby will be silently giggling to himself outside your window while breathing in the scent on the shirt he stole

While he is unhealthily obsessed with you, he still has a sense of logic about him, so he won't try to force you into loving him

He will gradually make his way into your life, whether that be the cute shy guy at the library, the dorky guy at the coffee shop, the man that you saw playing with a stray dog, etc, he will be there

And he will find a way into your heart one way or another

If he actually scores a relationship with you, his obsessive antics don't stop, they only ramp up now that he can be more open with them

Constantly staring at you, almost never blinking because he doesn't want to miss a second of your beautiful face

Always stealing your clothes so he can smell like you and show off who he belongs to

Being so so clingy and so so jealous, almost always having his arms wrapped around you and his nose in your neck, begging for you to kiss him and rub his head all sweet like

All the while, he is staring down the person that dared be anything more than slightly friendly to you, making sure they know exactly what their fate will be if they continue

He won't isolate you per se, but he will try to make sure your eyes are always on him

If you go out, he will be there with you, never separating from your side

If you don't look at him for too long, he will get upset and move your face to face his, giving you a pathetic pout and watery eyes

The way he sees it, he is your plaything, you are the only reason he exists, and he will do everything for you

If you wanted to straight up beat him up, push him around and spit in his face, he'd take it all with a smile and beg for more

If you wanted to hold him and kiss his face, telling him what a pretty boy he is, he'd be on the brink of tears while asking you not to stop

Ok so I will say that there wasn't a lot of him in this movie so I won't have a lot to work with- but I'm trying- and plus I wasn't fully paying attention during the end part of the movie (I was watching but I wasn't paying attention on dialogue ;-;)

Again, testing the separate sections for romantic/platonic: same as Pavitr's they're almost completely identical.

Tw: sociopathic qualities, kidnapping, implied/mention(?) of isolation, angsty Miles- mentions of murder (I think that's everything)

General Yandere Headcanons Earth 42 Miles Morales

Type: Possessive + "The Dead Yandere"

Romantic

I have a bunch of labels for things I can't describe with one character trait so I'll just explain what I classify as the dead yandere: In short, one who doesn't feel many positive emotions and searches for something to feel joy. (Kinda like Ayano of Yan Sim but less intense perhaps).

The reason I see 42 Miles like this is that his father is dead, and the opportunity of becoming Spiderman was stolen from him (I forgot if he knows the spider part- but he's still angsty). Which I think in turn drives him to find joy or at the very least release from his negative emotions; hence why he didn't agree to help 1610 Miles.

Moving on- once he has an interest in you, his goal is to keep you for himself so he can relive those happy emotions again. He'll kidnap you and kill anyone in his way as they don't matter to him at all. Now I'm horrible at psychology but I say he kinda develops sociopathic qualities- only when it is you or his family will he show any empathy (but even then pretty low).

I think when he's captured you, he doesn't show any aggressive behaviour. He may be a bit cold at times, but other than that he's a lonely dude who wants to feel joy again. In the beginning, he's quite distant and doesn't show much vulnerability, but after a while, he'll hug you and show other forms of affection. He often has a dead face during everything, but he's rebuilding his emotions and therefore taking a while to smile and show expressions again.

The possessive part of him isn't extremely apparent, but he hates you speaking to others or spending time with those that isn't him. This is a weakness of his, as he is super vulnerable about his emotions with you and trusts that you don't spend time with others as much as you do with him. But once you're kidnapped, consider yourself basically trapped to him and maybe his uncle and mother to talk to.

If you show him affection, he'll be ecstatic, but he won't show it well. I think the more you give him acceptance and affection, will he dig himself out of his sociopathic qualities and become his past self again. But he won't stop being the Prowler.

"I love you. You're the only reason I don't feel so dead inside."

Platonic

I also got tired of making so many headcanons (believe it or not, I have more saved in my drafts), I'm going to write a one-shot. I hope you like it <3. I also appreciate that you like my work. Obedience.

You had heard that word for so long that it was already embedded in your memory. But not in the way most expected.

You hated that word, and for that same reason you almost never hung out with the teachers or students of the temple you went to.

But we are getting ahead of ourselves, we better go to the beginning.

You had been born into a family that had never been close to other nations apart from Ionia, your mother was a strict woman, sometimes bordering on abusive, who always hated temples. Especially religions… Let's say she never had good experiences with it.

And your father, oh your beloved father… He was a saint in every sense of the word. He was kind, a joker… And a smile was always on his face. He had never yelled, in fact even when he was angry, he would just sit in the corner, ignoring everything around him until his mind cooled down.

And, being an only child, your life around them was quite chaotic. While your mother always tried to stay out of her entire family situation—a rather complex issue even for you—your father was the “husband of the house,” so to speak. He was in charge of teaching you both cooking and home care in general, including carpentry and, mainly, the art of home decoration.

He always dreamed of being a great artist, but in his family it was never frowned upon for a man to make the decision to undertake such a complex world of art, because, you know… that's a “women's thing.” But anyway, a lot of things have happened since the last time you talked to your uncles and cousins so… They aren't very important in your life right now.

But do you know that it is important? Where did you study.

Your father insisted a lot on your talent with sculptures and the human form; You really liked making ceramic vases manually, so much so that from the age of 8 you made your first sculpture; It was the strange shape of a dog with small eyes and a giant nose. At the time you barely knew how to paint sculptures, and your father barely knew about sculptures, and the shape of it so… Let's say it looked more like an "alebrije" than a dog with a big nose.

But that was a long time ago, and now the only proof of that memory is the figure on your father's furniture; kept as a beautiful memory.

As time went by your sculptures became more complex; from simple vases for flowers to sculptures with human figures of such a level that, at this point, we could compare them with the statues of Michelangelo.

And your father wanted that talent to be exploited to the fullest. So, after years of arguing with your mother, they both agreed that you should go to the great temple where you would learn about the art.

But there was a small problem, one that was going to haunt you a lot.

You weren't used to how strict that school was.

The first and second day at that school were quite chaotic for you. It wasn't just because it wasn't as you expected, but because everything was very limited.

If you wanted to make art, you had to do it how they wanted, when they asked you to, and how they expected it. However, not only was that not your style, but it seemed like the teachers (especially the principal) always had one eye on you. And only for a few weeks did you endure that strict issue of obedience.

But there was one boy who was particularly kind to you, and he was a young man of always unkempt appearance. His dark circles always stood out on his face, along with his hair that was rarely organized in a linear manner. From the first time he saw you, he felt charmed by the way you expressed yourself; You were good at painting and using magic, but when he saw the ceramic sculptures you made…damn, you really drove him crazy.

But you obviously didn't notice, you were too focused on trying to get along with your surroundings in general that you didn't notice his desperate attempts to get along with you.

However, in the pleasant conversations you had with him, you always saw him as the stereotype of the exemplary boy; someone who dedicated his entire life to his art, to the temple and was admired by everyone for his great talent. You thought he was assured of a great future thanks to his eccentric abilities.

And you, unlike most, learned very well from your mother that you could not let yourself be trampled; especially by anyone you barely knew. So the blood that ran through your veins and the passion for your own art that you kept for so long was slowly being tied to be limited, but with barely strong ropes. It hurt a lot to know that you were in a place that didn't belong to you, it was as if you were a squirrel in the Freljord, or a mouse in a perfume store.

And in the end, when you mentioned all these things to your mother, she didn't take it very well.

—Did you really go through all this while you were in that temple? —She asked, a cigarette between her fingers as she arranged her needles on the table.

You just nodded your head, not looking at your mother at all. The woman, at this, clicked her tongue.

—I knew that those bitches are only good for the basics, they didn't evolve at all —The woman brought the cigarette to her lips, taking a gentle drag —so, do you know something, my child? Send them to hell.

You were used to her bad vocabulary, so much so that at this, you just nodded your head again.

—I know perfectly well that you are not like me, that you want to venture out and learn about “the ways of art” and that I know —The woman moved her free hand in the air, while with the other she only lightly squeezed the cigarette. —, but if you're going to go alone so that that bunch of nuts can do you less, I'm going to get you out even by kicking you in the ass.

Your mother was tough as a chain in the teeth, and you knew that she couldn't last long without making trouble in the temple if there was someone bothering her only daughter. She cared very little if it was a student, a teacher or even the founder of the temple himself —Even though she knows that she died a long time ago— she would go and give her her dose of shit if she messed with the pride of her as a mother.

She advised you to kick their ass if they messed with you, but your father later talked to you about it, advising that you couldn't take all your feelings and thoughts to such an extreme, but that you should think coldly, and not give importance to people that were not to your specific liking, regardless of their social status. You were no less for coming from a family that came from the middle of nowhere.

During your temple walk, you always walked alone, which gave you plenty of time to think about your actions; You had been passive most of the time, however, more than once you let out those classic off-color comments when they already crossed your limit. Words like “Fuck you if you don't like it” or “You're barely able to use colors and you're going to tell me what I have to do?” escaped you in very rare cases.

You entered the less traveled part of the temple, hoping not to encounter those looks that made you uncomfortable. The song of nature resonated in your ears harmoniously, while the sound of the materials inside your bag resonated from time to time.

In the midst of your ramblings, you remembered your lost sculptures, and your forgotten materials; You were not a forgetful pardon, and it seemed strange to you not to find your favorite materials —That were metal, so they were worth a lot of money —, and even though you asked and asked, you couldn't find it anymore, so it depressed you a lot to think that you had lost something that had cost yout parents so much effort, and the mere memory of it caused you to feel that pang in your heart.

Even if your parents said it was nothing that couldn't be fixed, it hurt to know that you had lost one of the most expensive things your parents had cost you to get you.

But it was curious to think what a surprise you would get.

However, you get to hear some noises; without being the whining of baby birds waiting for food or rodents walking in search of food, but rather it resembled the voice of two people talking. You recognized both of their voices, but you thought it wasn't too important to stay there, in fact, you were already planning to go somewhere else when you heard it.

—So that girl, (Name), right?

—Yes, I didn't think you realized that issue.

The second boy's shy voice reminded you of that young man you rarely spoke to, which took you by surprise. Hwei wasn't the type of person to talk bad about someone behind their back, or at least that was the idea you had based on your interactions.

—You don't have to worry, after all it's normal for you to feel attracted to someone —Jhin mentioned, almost in a mocking manner—. So why don't you tell me about her?

You had already noticed the intention behind that interaction, however, after what happened, you thought that maybe you could calm your heart with some sweet words that you weren't meant to hear at that moment.

—Well, she is… incredible —He begins, you hear how the young man sits on a log due to the sound of the hollow wood —, she is beautiful, kind, tender… and her way of expressing her art is so… unique.

You gently leaned your back against the wood, trying not to make any sound. Something in your chest moved abruptly, as if your heart was fluttering like a butterfly in glass.

—I adore her sculptures, I feel that they are the most beautiful thing I have seen —He continues talking, slowly his emotion rose more and more —. I looked sometimes at her work in class or in the room away from her, and they are… beautiful.

—So much so that you had the need to steal them, right?

It was a single sentence, one which echoed in your head for several seconds.

—What are you talking about? —Hwei asks, arranging his hair a little, trying to place several strands behind his ear —. I would never do that.

You didn't hear how Hwei's tone of voice changed, becoming staccato, as his hands clung to his backpack, which he had in his lap.

At this, the other student laughed, almost like a subtle laugh, while his eyes wandered to where your shadow was looming. A mischievous smile forms on his face.

—So, I imagine that the sculptures that are in your room were made by you, right? —He questions, looking subtly into Hwei's eyes—. Or you bought them from her.

Your thoughts slowly formed a thread of the events that had happened. A lump formed in your throat, almost painfully so.

—Or her favorite utensils, she asked me if I had seen them last week, since she had left them near you the last time she saw them —He continued, almost introspectively—, but when I asked you, you only mentioned that you didn't see them that day either.

You shook your head, from the depths of your soul you prayed that it wasn't true, that you didn't have the school prodigy after you in such an extreme way.

—Well, I admit that I have some of her sculptures in my room, but they are the ones that she forgot in class or anywhere! —The pale boy snapped—. And I don't know what you think I did with her utensils, I don't know how to sculpt.

Jhin laughs again, barely audibly now, as if he knew that now he would have to act more vividly.

—And why were they in the box in your room? —Jhin asks him —, it even had remains of dry ceramics. Could it be that they were already used?

Hwei gritted his teeth, while his gaze met Jhin's again.

—That side of you… It's so peculiar. —He smiles —, I thought no one would see it, but you risk being seen in exchange for getting some things from (Name).

Hwei knew that darkness within his soul had awakened since the first day he saw you. And that darkness spread throughout his soul, mind and body, to the point that it seemed to consume all of his heart and mind.

—Your paintings were always warm colors —Jhin changed the subject, the smile disappearing from his face —, they were never about anything specific, but since you met that girl, something changed —He bowed gently in front of Hwei —. If it was about her, you focused on her in a way that made her seem pure, you used colors that highlighted her body or her emotion on her face. But she never looked at anyone —He subtly changed his focus —, she looked at the painter, or she didn't look at anyone, tell me, do you just want her to not look at anyone but you? Do you want her to the point that you don't want her to look at anyone but you?

He remained silent, in such a way that you could feel the weight of the words lingering in the air, causing an almost inexhaustible tension there. It was such that you could no longer hear the song of nature that you longed for so much.

—I won't criticize you, Hwei, you know that I understand better than anyone the dark feeling inside you —Jhin tried to sound empathetic —. And, if you want, I can help you make (Name) yours. I can make her fall in love with you and make that she can never leave you.

The obsessed young man understood how wrong it was to have those thoughts terrifying his mind, but he couldn't stop it, it was a feeling that had already taken root in his heart, and he couldn't tear it out no matter how much he wanted to.

—I can't… —Hwei whispered, his voice breaking —…, I don't want to harm her; She is so nice to me, I don't want to put her through all my feelings.

You heard him sob.

—That is…? —Hwei whispers, his heart sinking in his chest —(Name)..?

(I do not know what came over me, but okay). I was looking at the concepts for the yandere simulator and thought… and what about the endings?

I mean… Ayano can't just walk up to senpai at the end of the game and say, "Hi, dude! For ten weeks, strange things happened to the girls you talked to, and people at school disappeared, but now I'm here to say that you are the love of my life. MARRY ME OR I'LL MARRY YOU TO MY KNIFE!.."

Even if it was a normal dialogue, it's still weird. The girls around senpai may appear again, and Ayano is too worried to approach him. She hadn't talked to him in weeks, why would he love her? The boy is already stressed, and here again someone is trying to approach him!

So what? Eternal murders?

So I thought about what Ayano might have… different endings based on how she treated her rivals and senpai.

Let Ayano prepare the ground for conquering senpai's heart from the very beginning of the game! She's watching him, isn't she? So she knows what things he likes. Let Ayano give him gifts for ten weeks, leave delicious things in his locker, cook food for him, secretly send him messages and generally do everything to get his heart!.. (That is, to be a secret admirer). Or does nothing.

Based on Ayano's behavior, I suggest several endings, because I have nothing to do.

If Ayano killed most of her rivals and did not give gifts to senpai

~If Ayano kills a lot and doesn't bring senpai some goodies, then she will get a "neutral ending" as a result.~

Have you been following me?! And I heard that similar events took place several decades ago, when she fell in love with a boy… You know… can't be connected to this story, right?.."

"I always knew you were smart, senpai. Perhaps this is one of the reasons why I fell in love with you. But now there is no point in all this"

"W-what do you mean? I'm not going to accept someone's feelings when my friends are dead! W-wait… Wait, what are you doing? D-Don't come near me! DON'T COME NEAR ME!..

Ayano had no choice but to kidnap her senpai and bring him to her basement. Senpai, who quickly guessed the situation, could only hope for salvation from outside. But all the people who could help him were destroyed by Ayano. Senpai will never love Ayano as much as she would like. Senpai could only hope that he would lose his mind quickly and not feel any pain…

Ayano turned around and followed her senpai with her eyes. She didn't know if she could win his love, especially when he was surrounded by so many girls, but just the thought that she could become his friend filled her with love… and determination.

No more words were said. Ayano and senpai shared their first kiss under a cherry blossom tree, whose petals slowly fell on their heads, as if blessing their relationship with their touches.

Senpai doesn't need to know that his friends were just used to find out more information about him. From now on, senpai will live a happy and fulfilling life… the same as Ayano. He will be with Ayano forever, and now that the lovers have kissed each other, even a thousand girls will not be able to separate them.

After a while, Ayano brought her senpai home to meet his parents. Ayano's mom gave them both a kind and proud smile, saying only one thing: "I'm proud of you, daughter. You did everything much better than I taught you."

Senpai didn't quite understand what the woman meant. But he doesn't need to. Now that he found himself in Ayano's loving arms voluntarily, he doesn't have to worry about anything.

He will be happy with her… all their eternity.

The next day, Ayano did not come to school, as well as in the following days. The students started whispering that it was all because of her reputation. In a mystical way, senpai, who had been communicating with Ayano before, suddenly disappeared.

Ayano could have kidnapped senpai, but he knew what kind of person she was. Senpai will never love her the way she wants.

If Ayano has a low reputation, she killed most of the rivals and took care of senpai.

~Another "bad ending"~

"Why did someone call me to this place now when everything is restless? Oh, it's you! I'll leave here, I think…"

"Wait, senpai. We need to talk. It's about those gifts you've been receiving all this time. This… I was your secret admirer."

"You, was it YOU all the time?! W-wait, it couldn't have been you! We didn't even really communicate, and all the gifts seemed to have been created especially for me!.. Did you find out what I like by following me?! People around said you were weird, but I didn't think you were that weird!..and… and all my friends… I heard the students say that you walk around the school with a gun! You know… you couldn't have killed them, could you? Why are you silent?! Answer me, answer me now! N-no! Don't come near me! Put that syringe away! W-what are you going to do with?!."

Ayano could kidnap senpai, but she would never get his love. She can only drive him crazy or die herself, because senpai, whom she has fallen in love with, will never accept her true feelings.

If Ayano has a low reputation, tooks care of senpai and made friends with most of her rivals

~Here Ayano also lists how each opponent helped her. This is a "good-neutral ending"~

"So, did you call me under the sakura tree?.. I hear you're a friend of my friends, but I'm not sure we should be here. I mean… If someone sees us together, I'll be in trouble. No offense."

"Yes, of course, senpai. I won't keep you long. The thing is, I am… I was the one who sent you all these gifts. I wanted to get to know you better, but I was afraid to approach you. Then my reputation began to decline, and I wasn't sure if you would be ready to talk to me. I decided to learn more about you from your friends. They really helped me to understand what kind of person you are… Listing which opponent helped Yandere-chan. And that's why I wanted to ask… maybe you'd like to come with me to… a date? Even though people are talking about me?"

"This… really unexpected news. I would never have thought it was you who sent all these gifts. Thank you! I think… if my friends think you're a good person, then the rumors are just lying! I'd love to go on a date with you!"

Ayano couldn't be sure that her relationship with senpai would last long. People said bad things about her, and senpai could leave her at any moment. That is why, while her beloved is in her arms, she will try to do everything to bind him to her… forever.

Random Markiplier ego headcanons: Relationships edition (platonic, familial, romantic!) 🩷

Bing, Derby (Cool Patrol Leader), and Marc (E-Boy) are all friends- they’re the shades boys and do dumb shit like make tiktoks of Bing trying to pull Derby on his skates while skateboarding down a street-

Derby and Bop (MarkiplierTV) are Yancy’s younger brothers. They all have the same dad but different moms, and are thick as thieves with each other. Part of Yancy’s incarceration was protecting his brothers from his mother. The younger two visit him on third Sundays 🥺

There is a possibility that Actor is Yancy’s father. There is also a possibility that Actor has attempted to treat Marc like his son despite their vast generational gap-

The Nightguard and the Survivor (FNaF Musical and Resident Enis musical) are brothers, who got separated when their lives went in different directions. They only meet again in the manor with their own sets of trauma and a quite bond over singing

Speaking of singing, there’s a Glee club type get together between all the egos who sing (Yancy, Derby, Bop, NG, and Res-), where they mostly just sing and Yancy tries getting them to do original songs he’s written (even if Bop is only vocalizing and not verbally speaking-)

Ed Edgar and Derek Derekson are work partners, who are attempting to fight for their businesses to get more advertising time on the Markiplier TV scheduling. They’re both awful fathers who convince each other they’re just Doing the right thing :/

Eric has been lowkey adopted by Captain Magnum, the two bonding over their prosthetics at first until Magnum offers to get the boy his sea legs, wanting to take Eric away from the loud bustling manor and onto the “calming” sea. Eric is just happy someone so big is being nice and caring to him 3:

Dr. Iplier and Dr. Plier (My Therapist, Dr. Plier) are cousins, who don’t know exactly why their last names are so similar but Different, but don’t really care. Edward (Iplier) and Greyson (Plier) have coffee together in the morning before their appointments and chat often, they have a solid relationship 🩷

Dark and Wilford are in an open marriage, Wilford enjoys flirting and being with many other egos while Dark is content as long as their husband returns at the end of the night to sleep with them.

Dark and Wilford have also unofficially adopted the King of the Squirrels as their youngest kid, as well as Ayano (Yandere) who was possibly the bastard child of William and Celine in their past life. All she knows is these adult egos feel safe to go to when she’s in trouble at school-

William and Michael (Actor) were brothers, Michael was adopted into the Barnum family and adored his older brother until their adult years, when the affair came to light. In the manor, Wilford has no idea why his spouse despises the depressed Actor that he just wishes to befriend!

Micheal had a short relationship after his divorce, with a writer named Arthur (Author) who wrote him violent poetry and made him feel adored. Now in the manor, Actor finds himself fondly listening to the Host when the man reads in the library ❤️

Google Blue is assigned the task of working with the Engineer to keep the man busy now that he doesn’t have a ship to take care of, leading to the Engineer to grow affectionate over the android as the “nicest” person in the manor (seeing how they barely leave the lab)

Murdock (A Murder With Markiplier) and Yancy are in a relationship that started as only physical and developed into more personal, both sharing their interests with each other the more they hung out. Murdock offers his couch in his apartment for Yancy when he gets on parol

The Googles do not see each other as siblings, more as separate parts of one being. They share files and memory space between each other, work on the same projects, simply having their own color coded folders for anything deemed unnecessary to share between each other. They all see Bing as a reluctant colleague while he sees them as his friends-

Edward has taken responsibility for HeeHoo, while it isn’t domesticated enough to stay in the manor full time, he leaves a cellar door open with a nest of fabrics for HeeHoo to curl up in during the cold months, as well as bowls of food and fresh water by the back door of the manor. Every few months he gets Illinois and Res to hunt it down so he can do a check up and give it necessary medical work.

Illinois and Res are adventuring buddies, in the sense they go on forest walks in near silence. Illinois talks the most while Res is just interested in getting out of that too clean and too fancy house for a few hours. Illy has the maps and the experience while Res has the weapons and skill to keep them safe.

Maybe I do a a part 2 for these adding in JSE egos or non-Mark characters from his projects?? I dunno- also I hit 30 whole tags for this post trying to name everyone and what they’re from 😭

note: i’m so sorry this took so long!! i’ve been having some really bad writers block recently, but i’m back for now :]

she definitely dresses in grunge! probably just more on the casual side

has several piercings, the one i love to hc her most with is snakebites!!

she may say she hates pink, but she definitely loves it.

paints her nails whenever they get long enough, and occasionally details them! like drawing a little cat or basic stripes and waves

she likes horror, whether it be books or movies

she definitely prefers reading over movies though

i feel like she’s great friends with musume & the other girls! she probably likes their company and likes going out with them.

i (personally) like to hc her as bisexual !!

she definitely asks herself why she likes taro sometimes. she can never figure out an answer though, not that she minds.

i feel like she likes rock, screamo, and metal— probably vocaloid too; if it sounds like the others do.

she seems like the type to wear sweaters in the middle of summer and somehow, she never sweats.

she swears like a sailor. we all know it.

she gets bored easily, it’s also hard for her to focus— unless it’s taro she’s thinking about.

she’s found herself stalking taro, unintentionally. and actually she panics when she finally realizes just how long she’s been following him.

she likes keeping her room dark and cold, mostly as a comfort thing, but also because it’s cozy.

she definitely has blackout curtains in her room, and sometimes she wakes up at 11:46 in the morning thinking it’s midnight. (blackout curtains are dangerous guys)

sleeps with a 15-pound weighted blanket.

definitely has really fluffy pillows and plenty of stuffed animals on her bed too.

Long as hell text post under the cut my guys

me when i wake up and talk every day about the same shit. heart <3 i could talk for days abt jin and the misogyny he writes with. it's everywhere of course lol but out of the female characters takane's like…. the most tragic, in my opinion, because she's the only female character to have absolutely 0 backstory. yes, there's Some stuff, such as her illness, but truly takane does not have that much angst surrounding her illness. everything about her is rather about haruka. takane's moment is yuukei yesterday, but yuukei yesterday is entirely about both haruka and takane and their relationship. yes it's takane's pov, but it's ultimately still about… haruka, and how she feels about him.

back then in the fandom, pre over the dimension specifically, there was a take going around i remember pretty well. "people write haruka and takane like there's nothing more to them than being in love with each other" like the only time we'd see haruka and takane specifically (in fan content), they'd just be there to be shippy. i TOTALLY agreed with this sentiment and i always have, especially because i've always been obsessed with them as characters and i was overanalyzing every little thing (when otd came out i was over the moon bc i got so much stuff right btw. if u even care)

HOWEVER. if u think about it. pre over the dimension, with the manga having covered yuukei yesterday already and the next time takane (and haruka) appear as themselves in the manga is A LOT later in volume 10 (by that time, otd was already out) (also i'll get to takane in 2nd manga route in a second), so what we had at the time, for haruka and takane's backstory, was manga&novel yuukei yesterday and what we got from the anime. if you consider this… truly, at first the only thing to go off really was. just their relationship. that was all there was to both of them, because haruka was described from takane's pov, and everything we got from takane was how she felt for haruka. that was IT. for everything else u had to read between the lines like i was doing bc 10 years later i'd still be here talking about it teehee

of course there are also the songs. takane's songs set in time before she's ene are yuukei yesterday and of course headphone actor, one of the Best kagepro songs dont even come AT ME anyways headphone actor as a song touches THE OTHER BIG THING we were offered about takane at the time. okay, she isn't JUST in love with haruka. the other thing about takane is… she wants to SURVIVE!!!

i've talked about this LOADS of times i know (about this entire thing actually but i just like talking about also it's my blog) takane gets opening eyes because she's so determined to live. ratio + this from novel 2 headphone actor

which brings me to. ugh. second manga route. takane….would not…. KILL HERSELF…. second manga route WHY. we finally get to see Takane again in the manga and she's just so spectacularly NOT HERSELF it's crazy. takane since her INTRODUCTION is presented as "selfish" and how her want for attention from haruka or in general gets the best of her. that's ene. THAT'S ene!!! that's also why ENE stays with shintaro!!! it is FUNDAMENTAL to her character. we were given miserably little about her and in the most simplified way to put it, those things are: takane 1. is an attention whore<3 2. doesn't want to die. so tell me. how do you manage to get these 2 very simple things so incredibly WRONG in second manga route.

where in the world would takane get mad haruka got another friend. it makes NO sense!?!? bro haruka and shintaro ARE ALSO BEST FRIENDS IN THE MAIN ROUTE, where takane ACTUALLY HAS REASONS TO ACTIVELY REALLY DISLIKE SHINTARO, and she doesn't give a fuck that they're friends, why would she randomly care so much now when she has no reason to even dislike shintaro? so basically because she doesn't have ayano she gets jealous and wants haruka all to herself?? erm ok?? let's say that's true (it's not), even if she was jealous of shintaro her desire to be by haruka's side WILL be stronger, she would NEVER just turn around and leave. absolutely NOT. one of the stupidest things takane does is want haruka to look her way so bad she doesn't realize HE'S DYING ON HER. this bitch is so insanely self centered she would never in her life walk out on haruka just for having another friend. REAL takane walks in there with that stupid basket and be like Everyone look at me NOW<3

ok. first trait: attention whore: second manga route FAILS. second trait: doesn't want to die. wonder what second manga route will do. (looks into the camera) takane kills herself in second manga route.

dude you're crazy. you literally get EVERYTHING WRONG. it pisses me off. and not only does she kill herself but she does it because haruka DIED!?!?!?!?!? OH MY GOD. i hate it it's so fucking fake it's not HER THAT'S NOT TAKANE ENOMOTO THAT'S A SHIT CHARACTER JIN AND MAHIRO SATO DECIDED TO SUDDENLY WRITE INTO THE STORY i already put it in this post but let me attach it again

dear lord. anyways i've talked about that loads of times but i needed to include it in this talk cuz. yeah. i dont even HATE the rest of second manga route i just hate how takane is written specifically but since she's everything 2 me erm. you get my thumbs down!!! anyways having acknowledged second manga route we can move on.

back to main route discussion. so takane's backstory. not super deep, especially compared to other characters. yes her backstory is basically that she's sad because her boyfriend dies. but as ene there's so much more to unpack, right?! a character who will 100% accept a HALF DEATH because she's so determined not to die, but she's also mentioned to be tirelessly looking for her body because despite everything she's got HOPE? that's SUPER interesting, i love her!! what will she- *is obsessed with shintaro* ene's obsession with shintaro again ties in with everything else, desperate for attention, finds kinship with shintaro because she (or rather, ayano) decided he's compatible with her, but most importantly, he's doing badly and she wants to help him. takane isn't a person anymore, she's alive only as a technicality, so… she spends time with shintaro! but we ignore, it's TWO YEARS. and only in one of those she is with shintaro. we tend to overlook she spends the WHOLE TIME looking for her body in that other year. of course ene talks a lot about how much she loves her power, how much she loves being ene and not having to take care of her sick body but it's a REALITY that she wants to get it back. if she really didn't want it, why would she look for it and later get back into it when she does find it? but that's in between the lines. ene's obsession with shintaro is super interesting and you KNOW i love everything we know about takane be it her obsession with shintaro or her crush on haruka. i just wish there was....more.... like everyone else gets more! like HARUKA, a damn side character, gets more!!

haruka gets so SO much, he even bonds with SETO!! he gets a really well developed friendship with shintaro, he gets a very long detailed introduction scene with ayano with funny younger mekatrio shenanigans, he gets yuukei quartet hangout moments, he gets a GOOD RELATIONSHIP WITH KENJIROU (fundamental imo as he's very important both in general and haruka and takane's social circle back then) and not just all that, but super thoughtfully written feelings about his illness, views on life, wishes... and all takane's story gets is…. she's sick, but it's ok it's not deadly, HARUKA HOWEVER…. oh, HE'S the real delicate one….especially since she's in love with him ofcourse!! dont forget!! btw she's grumpy cuz of her illness. she wishes she just didn't need sleep. aaanywaaays did we mention it's not as important as haruka's illness and btw she's in love with him?

unlike haruka, takane gets no relationship with ayano, and all their interactions are talking about how in LOVE they are with haruka and shintaro. no relationship with kenjirou beyond comic relief of ugh useless ass teacher, even revealed later on she stays in the dark about kenjirou forcing them to participate in the festival ON PURPOSE and playing her like that so she would be determined and make haruka join. her dynamic to shintaro pre being ene is just pitiful, and if it wasn't for his behavior towards her shintaro would be…. erm normal?? yea he's cold to ayano but that vs the way he randomly treats takane without even knowing her. god. imagine kagepro where shintaro DIDN'T do that. he'd still be flawed and stuff like what was the need😭 like HUUHH. takane gets nothing!!!!! and if we're still on the shintaro subject, why she's the asshole for being a menace as ene? whatever. i support women's wrongs. bully him harder.

alright. later she's ene, bonds with the dan. wait!! look!! it's KANO!!! she has so much in common with him, to the point he chooses her to open up to and helps her get her body back!!! this is a GREAT character choice to pair her with and to develop a dynamic with!! uh. oh wait….. kano's just totally awful to her and then later leaves her to get her body back offscreen and on her own? (looks into the camera again)

to continue comparing haruka and takane. takane mentions grandma makes her lunch, grandpa is dead, and they're both SUPER worried about her illness. there's…. nothing about their personalities or their relationship to her. meanwhile, haruka mentions everything! he's all like my illness… when it killed my mother it was exactly when the doctors said it would. my dad is cold and a little strange and doesnt spend time at home. we have a live in helper who does chores. like that's already so much deeper!

u find out through another mention later on that takane's parents work overseas but you dont know ANYTHING else despite it being so specific. while haruka goes on about his relationship with his dad or rather lack of relationship, and there's even some stranger at home doing chores for him. and again HE GETS TO HAVE A CLOSE RELATIONSHIP WITH KENJIROU, heavily written as a father/son dynamic. man.

anyways…. this is kinda all over the place and it's something i talk about very often but teehee. wanted to do it again. i was thinking about it again because i realized i don't tend to draw haruka in a context outside being takane's boytoy. which i don't particularly care about because i know that's not all i see him as and i do see him as a deep character of his own and i like analyzing him just as much… it's just in art specifically he's just always there to be in love with her and nothing else. and i was like damn does that suck of me?? but you know what. i dont care<3 thanks for coming to my ted talk.

[The Aishi Curse + Very Detailed Headcanons about Ayano]

I've always been a big fan of Ayano Aishi's inability to feel emotions and the Aishi curse. However not a lot of people share that sentiment which I get bc it can be seen as a major plot hole bc an Aishi is framed to feel utterly nothing so it feels strange to see them care, to do something that yields nothing for them.

Like how Ayano felt pity for her father and acting like a perfect and normal girl. Ayano acting normal and fitting in. Which means she can to some extent feel something. Sure, you can argue that she's doing so to lead an easier life but it contradicts things. She shouldn't care, she shouldn't care about those things bc that's the point. If she didn't care at all, she wouldn't be doing all this, she would simply go through the motions, bc she should have no reason to live or do anything. However I still like it and it just needs more touch ups.

I basically made an AU, where it’s more innocent Reverse Harem with basically Ayano fitting the lead heroine role. Having more hobbies, interests, personality, but retains her illness however to some extent she can feel things. Like somethings can evoke something in her. I wanted to flesh her out into a heroine rather than a heartless killer. Oh, btw Ryoba is dead lol and there's some other major changes.

I won’t be discussing the AU here, this is mostly headcanons to make Ayano in general more "hashtag relatable". I jest, but it’s basically about odd quirks she’s developed over the years to give her more depth. If you guys wanna know about the AU just say and I'll share it.

Headcanons:

Ayano feels nothing, so there exists a void in her that she notices and focuses on whenever she is not doing anything. She can't put it into words but it leaves her more empty than she already is when she’s not doing anything.

Due to this, Ayano does not like doing nothing. Constantly on the move and focusing on different, picking up new hobbies constantly so she isn’t left alone with the void that eats her from the inside.

TL:DR; will literally do anything then be stuck doing nothing.

She is often taken advantage by her peers especially in group projects, bc she’s “helpful”. Since these helpful acts are mostly for her. She doesn’t really mind, but her friends, often Midori take the work and shove it back to the people who ask her.

She uses schedules and planners, organizes everything which makes her seem responsible and meticulous. Often seen as a busybody by her peers; her father, adults, and friends worry about her health when they see her planner.

When there’s the inevitable moment where she’s stuck doing nothing, she will start fidgeting. She’ll mess with anything within reach, tap her shoes, snap her fingers, drum her fingers, basically anything to keep her occupied.

She acts normal. Though she doesn’t pretend to be angry since she finds the task unnecessary and can cause unnecessary rifts in relationships therefore loses all her progress; some people think she’s just very patient and some people find in unnerving how she doesn’t even get annoyed or irritated at literally anything.

She cannot cry, however she can cry if something gets into her eye or if she’s under too much pain. She’ll basically only cry due to physical pain, but nothing emotional.

Ayano blends fairly well into school and in social situations, but she’ll still face things she doesn’t quite understand. She often shrugs them off and adapts in situations, she goes to search about it later. She understands what’s polite and what’s rude but she might say something insensitive, brutally honest, from time to time.

Ayano although cannot feel emotions sadness, anger, disgust, disappointment. It doesn't mean her body doesn't have natural reactions and reflexes. Although there’s some minute differences between hers and an average person's.

Like she has a flight or fight response but fear, panic, shock, etc does not register into her head and expressions. But her mind and body does register that she could be in potential danger and so her protects her. An example would be is if you tried to scare her, if she recognizes you are a danger to her, there’s a chance she will punch you.

Her body still functions as it should, tho she has no emotions. Like if she runs her heart rate will shoot up. A feeling she actually likes. If she does not sleep, her body and mind will function like a person with no sleep.

She’s an adrenaline junkie. You can’t change my mind.

She likes spicy food. The hotter, the better. I mostly say this bc spicy food releases these hormones that make you happy, but really she likes how her body reacts to it. The painful spice that makes her heart race.

Coffee as always gives her that energized feeling.

Ayano is an avid fan of romance from music, books, movies, plays, shows to even historical irl love stories. She absolutely adores them. It’s like an overpowered drug to her, it what’s connects her to her roots as an Aishi. She’s addicted to the feeling of consuming all things romantic.

Smiles will unconsciously grace her lips, the warmth glowing from her cheeks and the fluttering of her heart.

There will literally be moments where she has to stop and start pacing to calm down. She’s trapped in a trance when she gets too into it that she would full on lose her sense of time and ignore her body’s needs.

It's basically a small taste to what she'll feel when she meets the one.

Bc of romance she's basically idealized romance. Already hooked on the idea of getting married and having kids. Having a fairy tale happily ever after. Feeling like what she reads and consumes will be like real life but better.

She doesn’t understand why people feel the need to hide certain emotions. Although Ayano doesn’t feel nor fully understands the complexity of emotions, she’ll try to coax and encourage them to show it to her.

She finds it mesmerizing but also there exist that tiny, miniscule thing inside her that hurts whenever she sees people hiding it.

This one-short takes place in a timeline where Kaga is the student council president and Geiju is his vice president. This is before Megami came to Akademi and before Ayano became active. :D I might do a +18 for Geiju and Kaga- idk 😃 I just need an idea for it and know who's going to be top and bottom-

"Amai came up to me yesterday and asked if we could help her set up a bake sale this week. It would be a huge help for the cooking club. It can bring money for them to buy ingredients and cooking supplies."Kaga explained to Geiju. Geiju was standing in front of the Kaga sitting behind. He was holding a folder that had documents of the events that were going to happen during this week. Geiju was the vice president of the student council that Kaga picked himself and trusted the most. Along with that, the students respected him.

"No."

"Why not? It can bring some enjoyment for the students. The students can leave their class to be able to buy a sweet from Amai's bake sale and have something to eat during class time. The classes are five hours with 30 minutes long. There are some students who don't have time to eat in the mornings. This would help them eat something during class without worrying about being hungry. The bake sale is a small event. It's not as big as Asu's event with her club they have this Friday. We can come early in the morning like we always do. Uekiya, Budo, Maka, you and I can help the cooking club to set up the event."Kaga suggested, leaning forward against the desk.

Uekiya was the secretary of the student council. She is known to be the "big sister" of the students in Akademi. She was always there for her classmates with open arms no matter the situation. No student would dare to look bad in front of their big sister.

Budo was the Enforcer of the student council. He is well respected and liked within the students and staff. Budo's sense of justice was one of the major things that popped out to Kaga. Budo's determination to protect the weak, or anyone in general from harm, was something Kaga admired.

Maka was the treasurer of the student council. Kaga liked her eccentric character, and she stood out from the crowd compared to other students. She was weird (just like him), but Maka was someone he could count on to get things done in her own way.

"No."Geiju refused.

Kaga remained quiet from Geiju's refusal before a large smirk formed on his lips,"It is because of your brother?"

"Yes."

Kaga leaned back against his chair and smiled,"Come on, Geiju, Shoku is your brother. Of course, he's going to be excited to see you and spend time with you. He cares about you."

"Annoying. Also, no space."Geiju responded, referring to that there was no space to put in a simple, waste of time and space bake sale. Kaga stared at Geiju again before glancing down at his computer screen,"Of course you would find him annoying. You find everyone annoying, even me."

"Correct."

Kaga let out a small chuckle,"But you are right. There's no space for a bake sale this week. However, we can put the bake sale for next week."He smiled brightly. Geiju shook his head,"Please. No."

"Next week it is!"Kaga exclaimed with excitement and typed onto his computer to put it in his calendar."During the afternoon meeting, I'll explain it to them. I'm sure they'll be happy to help."Geiju watched with a bored look, holding the folder close to his chest. A disappointed sigh escaped Geiju. Kaga stood up from his chair and smiled,"Let's go speak with the cooking club to give them the good news." He walked out of the student council room. After a few steps, Kaga stopped and glanced over to see no Geiju following him.

Kaga frowned and walked back to the student council. He peaked to see Geiju standing on the same spot and staring at the doorway,"Geiju, Let's go."

"No."

"Shoku would be happy to see you. Besides, you're my vice president. You have to be by my side as if we are some kind of couple."

"Slice my throat."Geiju threw his head back to expose his throat to Kaga, being prepared for being killed, which he desperately wanted at that moment. Kaga huffed and made his way over to the taller male. He went behind him and pressed his hands against his back. He immediately started to push him out of the room,"Come on. There's no need to be negative here. Your brother would love to see you there. It'll be the highlight of his day."

Geiju slowly stepped forward with Kaga's pushing with a boring look on his face. His head was still thrown back,"Involves you."

"What about me?"

"You're unpredictable. Annoying. Eccentric."

"You would rather slice your throat than date me?"

"Yes."

"Of course you would."Kaga laughed as he continued to push Geiju towards the staircase. Kaga stopped pushing him and grabbed Geiju's hand. He walked down the staircase with Geiju being forced to follow,"It burns."He blankly complained, having his eyes now staring at Kaga.

"Don't be dramatic."Kaga stepped his foot onto the first floor once they made down. With that, Kaga walked to the cooking club that was in front of them. He opened the double doors and stepped inside with Geiju next to him, still having the grasp of his hand in his.

Shoku and Amai spotted them and walked towards the two,"Hello sweethearts! What can we help you with today?"Amai asked with a soft smile on her lips. Shoku's eyes shined at the sight of his brother,"Geiju! You're here!"

"Rather not be."Geiju tried pull his hand away from Kaga's,"It burns."

Kaga let go of his hand,"He's being dramatic. I forced him to come. I told him that Shoku would be happy to see him and have him in the cooking club." Shoku smiled widely and wrapped his arms around Geiju, giving him a nice hug,"Aw, well, I am happy to see him and have him here in the cooking club. It's always nice to see my amazing brother."

Geiju side-eyed Shoku while standing there awkwardly during the embrace. Kaga smiled and looked at Amai,"Oh! And we have talked about your bake sale idea. Unfortunately, we don't have space this week, but we can do it next week. The student council will be here early in the morning on Monday to help you and your club prepare and decorate the plaza before students come."

Amai gasped as her eyes lit up at the good news,"That's great! With that, we have time to change some ideas and make adjustments. Thank you for letting me do a bake sale."

"No problem. I'm always here to listen if you need anything, Amai."Kaga smiled,"We should get going. We have other events to work on and do adjustments on." Shoku pulled away from the embrace and smiled,"Well, I wish you two luck! See you during lunch, bro!"Shoku smiled over at his brother. Geiju simply nodded and walked out of the cooking club. Kaga followed him, waving goodbye at the two.

Kaga stood next to the taller male and smiled at him,"See, it wasn't so bad."

"I hate you."Geiju side-eyed him. Kaga chuckled,"Aw,"he patted Geiju's back,"I know." The taller male immediately started to speed walk ahead of his student council president.

"Hey!"Kaga cried out, trying to catch up with the emotionless male ahead of him.

NEW CHARACTER MODELS IN MY MOUTH PLEASE

And they're public so I can talk about them!

Did I say "new models"? I mean upgraded models because it looks like that's the direction we're going in! And honestly I'm all for it! They look great. The unblurred pictures look good, but they're just not Yandere Simulator. So I'm really happy with these!

Fully formed Ayano! Love the hair on her! Why so much emphasis on her lower stomach tho? I guess because it matches kjech's art? Looks a bit awkward in 3D tho... but I still LOVE how this looks!

Megami looks PERFECT!!!!! That hair model is gorgeous! Could have sworn Asu had bigger/taller eyes tho? But she looks really good too tho! And it looks like we'll be getting updated hair models for all the rivals too, if not all of the characters in general, which will be ABSOLUTELY AMAZING

These expressions look so good!!!!!! Much better than what's in the game. I see lots of awkward meshes whenever the characters' faces move. I hope we can get some really intense angry eyebrows and a larger mouth mesh for really vivid expressions; these feel a bit tame. Perfect for slice of life, less so for horror.

Overall, I think that these previews are REALLY AWESOME and show how much consideration goes into the game. I should have predicted this, for YEARS the default female model has had a slimmer waist (at least I think so, I seem to be the only one who noticed it) and we know about YandereDev's experiment with different body types a la the four clubless boys. I can't wait to see these in the game! Can you IMAGINE how good these will look in a cutscene?? Y E S

But it might be a while before that happens. I feel awful for the volunteer who was displaced by Russia's invasion of Ukraine. I hope that person can focus on the safety of themselves and their family. I wish I knew what else to say. If someone could link any relief programs to donate to I'd really appreciate it.

Whether or not the new models make it into the game before the Kickstarter begins, I'm really looking forward to seeing YandereDev's checklist completed!
