give me your dion/sam headcanons. does dion tell his family do they even know they're dating. what chaos do they create

I can see the two "dating" without realizing they are dating. In the sense that they see each other as a partner but never had the talk and never say it is anything more than dating. Dion only ends up asking Sam if they are dating because his mom was like "You two are such a cute couple!"

I don't think Sam would think of the two of them as dating, in the sense that it is not the word I see zem using to describe the relationship. They would definitely be a couple, but not use the terms girlfriend/boyfriend or dating or stuff like that. They'd make their own words for each other (like those shirts that say "I'm his player 2" or something like that, they would label themselves something fun).

As for chaos I can the two cooking together a lot. Both definitely know how to cook, Sam just being a little more unconventional. The two going out and having animals lead them to some good ingredients thanks to Sam's zoolingualism. Then Dion would find a recipe they could make something delicious out of whatever they find.

And honestly, I can see it being like some super good food with unique but very good tastes. It's so good people (Aquatos and Interns) try to steal some bites from their food. So Dion and Sam will sometimes make some DELICIOUS smelling food just to annoy the people around them by eating it all without sharing. (Sam would share a little bit but only if people ask super nicely)

Oh the two of them cooking for Dogen, Queepie, and Mirtala sounds really fun!

Also the fact that I can see Sam having a ton of fun in the circus just climbing on stuff and letting go. I feel like they have a lot of pent up energy and frustration from not being able to live out a good childhood since their family was really scared Sam would have the same head-exploding powers as their grandfather. So Sam being able to play around and just let loose in a circus environment would be very good for them.

It would also be good for Dion, letting him see the joy someone has for the circus would spark a new passion in him. Because sure, it is one thing to see a kid's eyes sparkle from seeing the circus for the first time, but it's a whole other thing to see your own partner experience some kind of true happiness that they weren't able to have in their life before.

It really is these two just appreciating what they can offer to each other. Like they bring out really good and unique parts of each other, which surprises the people around them, but in a really good way.

hey guys do the allos know that they can have qprs too? like do they know that being alloromantic doesn't mean they can't choose to be in a qpr anyway? because qprs aren't "romance-lite" for aros, they're an entirely separate kind of relationship that anyone can have. you can do this with fictional characters too. you can put characters that aren't aroace or are even canonically dating in qprs with each other just because you think that would be a cool way to play with their dynamic. it's actually very cool and you totally should.
