Spring Came Early!

Huntlow fanfic incoming!

Back when they were living in the human realm Willow noticed something odd happening ti the plants. They seem to die off after a few months which at first was quite worrying for the young witch. When she asked Luz she told her it was normal, which again, seemed odd to her

Luz explained to her what was apparently named "seasons". They were four, in fact

Spring: the season where the flowers bloom

Summer: the season where the flowers thrive

Fall: the season that flowers die

Winter: the season that flowers sleep

In a weird way, Willow was very intrigued by this whole thing, cause in the boiling isles there's no such thing as seasons, or at least seasons like this

It's always warm, well, everywhere besides the knee

There were no rules for plants there, depending on where they grew they developed and had ways to survive like this forever

But in the human realm it was different, flowers died, so they can be reborn better and healthier than before!

She adored this idea,but she still was attached to these plants she did not want to see them in such bad state

Unfortunately for Willow however, fall was back once again, a year later

She was able to prepare for this, seeing all her favorite plants die slowly one by one

And you could say that the beauty of them slowly descending wasn't so scary either. But it was still a bit sad to see.

She decided to experiment, around a forest that was near the town

She wanted to see if she could help them live with her magic!

She left the Noceda house, (that she happened to visit with her other friends) and went to the forest, trying her best to be unseen

She didn't want others to know what she was up to, in case what she would do is bad for the environment

She has a plan if that would be the case, she would just ask for Vee to take the magic she used in the plants so they can go back to their previous form!

She got close to one of the trees, and took one of the falling leaves, and by just holding it, she was able to change it's color from orange to green

She was more than strong enough to fix the entire forest if she wanted to, but she wanted to start off easy, and see how the trees would take her magic in their such fragile state

The leaf she was holding turned back into a beautiful, healthy green, she could feel it being reborn

She was happy, she wanted to try a tree now

She placed her hand into the log of said tree, and slowly got the color of those leaves back into a green

She smiled, she continued to do more and more trees, and she fixed the grass, okay, and maybe added a few more flowers here and there for decoration

Her little area seemed so alive, and so beautiful, just as she remembered

But as she was gently and fixing out the place to her liking, she heard a familiar voice coming from behind her

"Willow?"

Uh oh???

"H-Hunter! Weren't you with the others?"

"I was, but I was searching for you, and I noticed your plants coming from this area so I checked. What are you doing?"

"I was just...fixing the place a bit"

Hunter looked a little confused, he tilted his head when he always does when he's confused and r e a l l y wants to find out what's happening, he's so cute

Willow sighed, "Look, I'm not the biggest fan of this season, most of the plants that I've grown so attached here fall and die. I know that it's part of how it works here but, it just feels a little sad, don't you think?"

Hunter nodded with understanding, he took a breath before replying "I see why you don't like it. But that's just a part of how they can thrive here, they take a break and come out of it stronger than ever"

"And besides" he looks at her with the most admiring glance anyone can ever give to someone "Their colors are beautiful"

Willow nodded, blushing at the way he looked at her, she notices whenever he tries to flirt with her, she always picks on his little signs, though he may not be the best at picking up hers. She doesn't mind, cause she loves him

"You're right! They are pretty beautiful" she points at a leaf she had in her hands, with it now being a mixed color of green and orange

What a pretty world

"I'll ask Vee to help out with taking out the magic, I don't wanna ruin the eco system. "

"I don't think it's even possible for you to hurt the eco system, you're so powerful I have a feeling these trees are immortal now!"

Willow chuckled, "Oh stop it! It was only just a little magic!"

"We gotta bring the others here for a picnic, I don't think there's a better season than fall to have a picnic"

"It suits you"

"What?" He asked, blushing a bit, cause apparently the smallest compliment that even he doesn't understand can get him to overheat

"Fall suits you, everything about it, it kind of screams you! That's a good thing"

Hunter let out a giggle, I guess it did suit him huh?

The sun was starting to come down once more, and the colors fell on him perfectly, it kinda looked like he was glowing!

And on Hunters eyes, Willow was glowing too, the shadows of the now beautiful green trees, mixed with the orange leafs, and the light of the sun falling on her cheeks. She was gorgeous!

They kinda stayed there for a second or two, staring at each other mesmerized

Until Hunter got suddenly a little too embarrassed and decided to speak up "H-Hey, uh, let's get back to the others? I'm sure they're looking for us"

"S-sure thing! Let's do that" She started walking off, and when she was besides Hunter she pulled up her hand, asking for his

Hunter gave it to her, with his hands already sweating bullets, but alas, Willow didn't mind, she never did

They both walked away, going back to the others. Willow might not warm up to this season immediately but, she can try, it's a part of life after all. And if Fall reminds her of Hunter, she can definitely get to love this time of year one day!

And with the forest being different from everything else, it was something different, something odd to others, something beautiful

What would Caleb think of Philip and Silas’s relationship? I believe he would approve of them and would likely tease his brother obliviousness’s.

So, i think it depends when Caleb finds out about Philas and Silas's relationship : o

I like to believe Caleb isn't this perfectly open minded peep and for sure learned to be that way thanks to his love for Evalyn. I think if Philas was a thing before Caleb left to the Boiling Isles, i think he wouldn't approve of them. Maybe have some reluctance at least.

Now, I say after he goes to the boiling isles, he be still hesitant about Philas but way more open for sure though since he learns peeps in the boiling isles r in different sorts of relationships

That's my opinion though o.o. i don't like painting Caleb as a complete open minded saint cause then it's just... idk, not realistic i guess? He for sure should have some flaws : o

Luz's Unlucky Lunch

The campus of Hexside School of Magic and Demonics was abuzz with activity. It was late autumn, around the time of Thanksgiving in the human realm, and the Boiling Isles were celebrating their equivalent: the Samhain Harvest, a day of feasting and relaxation. There were technically supposed to be classes today, but all the teachers had dismissed early for the holiday, and most of the students had stayed around to enjoy a fair that had been set up in front of the school.Luz, the only human studying at Hexside, stared in wonderment at the various attractions and the students stuffing themselves as she paced from stall to stall. She wondered absentmindedly if witches’ biological differences included a more malleable stomach; many of her peers proudly displayed overstuffed, round bellies, some of which seemed large enough to fit a whole person inside. Surely the squirming she’d seen and the muffled cries she’d heard were just her imagination, though…right?While wandering through the festival and admiring the sights, Luz almost didn’t notice when she came up behind one of her friends, who seemed to be preoccupied with a meal. “Oh, hey, Willow!” she said, tapping her classmate’s shoulder. “Are you enjoying…the…whoa…”The human’s voice died out as Willow turned, a pair of black boots sticking out of her mouth. She held up a hand to indicate she needed a moment, then slipped off her meal’s shoes and gulped her down the rest of the way, depositing the girl in her stomach. “Hey, Luz!” she said once she had swallowed. “Do you like the harvest festival? It’s my favorite time of year, heh…”“Uh, y-yeah, it’s…really great…is that, I mean, d-did you—” Luz stammered.“Oh!” Willow interrupted. “That’s right, you probably don’t do this in the human realm, do you? Around the harvest festival, any witch or demon can be a meal, basically. Sometimes people try to convince somebody to offer themselves, and sometimes…” She patted her massive gut contentedly, provoking a muted shout of protest from inside. “…they just eat each other because they feel like it!”“Wow…” Luz said in a hushed tone, only distantly aware of how intently she was staring at the floral witch’s shifting belly. “Wait, so this is just a thing for witches, right? I guess I couldn’t…uh, y’know, not that I’d want to eat anybody! But hypothetically, if I did?”“Hmm, I’m not actually sure,” Willow responded. “Oh, you should ask Amity! She’d know all about this kind of thing.” She paused, looking past Luz for a moment before adding, “Sorry, but I think I just saw dessert. I’ll catch up with you later?”“R-right, yeah, good idea,” Luz said, bidding her friend farewell as she hurried off to pack Skara into her belly alongside Boscha. The human sighed, carrying on through the festival in search of another familiar face.Just ask Amity. Easy, right?Free samples from half a dozen booths had filled out Luz’s belly considerably, but she still felt surprisingly hungry. Maybe it was because of what Willow had told her—try as she might, she couldn’t help but fantasize about swallowing Amity whole, whether she was willing or not. Part of her was concerned that the idea of her girlfriend resisting didn’t put Luz off the idea of eating her, but she almost felt as if it would be better that way. Feeling her struggle and hearing her scream on her way down the human’s throat, turned into nothing but lunch by an inferior human, stewing in digestive acid as countless onlookers ignored her plight…Lost in thought, Luz snapped back to reality when she ran into somebody—the very cotton-candy-haired girl she’d been thinking about, in fact. “Oh, sorry, Amity!” she said, helping her girlfriend regain her balance.“You’re fine!” the witch assured her, giving her a quick kiss on the cheek by way of greeting. “How do you like the festival so far?” She gave her girlfriend’s stuffed paunch a poke, giggling as it gurgled in response. “Looks like you’ve been enjoying the food, hehe…”“Yeah, it’s a lot of fun!” Luz said, beaming. “Although it’s all been a bit of a, well…”

The Owl House review:

Season 2 episode 12 Elsewhere and Elsewhen

I won’t be as exhaustive as the previous episode.

Luz’s trying to investigate more about the portal and why Belos wants the key.

King’s so nice he write a note that she has to stay hydratate with blood water.

It’s so sweet that she wants to buy to Amity a new glove. (what bothers me the most is that the glove should be the right one, this happen too on episode 10 season 2 Yesterday’s lie)

“Lulu’s dearest friends” and family. It’s so nice to see Steve, we didn’t saw him since episode 11 season 1 Sense and insensivity. Morton is here as well and Tiny nose (aka Dana). And mysterious woman.

By the way in the past episode we saw a little about Gwen and Lilith and Lilith herself wears differents clothing, glasses and her hair at the end is curly.

Steve is so loyal I love hiiim. Lilith expression is so good 😂

Who puts the “THE” in front of their name. I mean Eda you’re called yourself Eda “THE” Owl Lady, plus the serie itself is called “THE” OWL HOUSE.

Lilith starting to get serious about her new job at the museum. And finally we see Lilith palisman alive, he looks amaizing.

Yep Lilith names goes from: Lily(Eda), Monster(Luz),Lulu(Hooty), Teacher’s pet(fandom), Sweet flee(Gwendolyn), Bad girl Historian(herself) and now Cool Aunt(Luz). Luz new found family is extending. And I see that too on fanfics.

Amity’s glove is it then with Titan blood.

I don’t know why I find Luz pose so funny.

This should be it.

Luz finds something magical, again. (reference from episode 15 season 1 Understanding Willow)

From Luz: “This mama is ready from trauma” to “Mama needs to cummune with the dead”. Ummmmm “Trauma” and “Dead” is it a foreshadowing or something. A lot of Mama in it umm.

So the Clawthorn family are palismen making skills, now that makes sense that Eda helped the Bat Queen on episode 6 season 2 Hunting palismen. I love that King is so welcomed to the family :)

I guess Luz got a flashback right there, justly when she got in the Boiling Isles:

Luz I don’t think this is a great idea.

This moment is soooo important. Phillip took years for him to found the gliphs and he said it was like the world whouldn’t want him to found them. And Luz found the gliphs in mounths. Like if she was destined to found them.

Eda said on episode 6 season 1 Hooty’s moving hassle, that the moonlight conjuring required a powerfull magic. And Luz had to listen to the Isles, on episode 12 of season 1 Adventure in the elements. (So my guess is that the Titan helps Luz to survive and makes things difficult for Phillip, I dunno it’s my theory and maybe for the others too)

“My DUDE!” XD I thought only Anne from Amphibia say that, I guess not. 🤣 🤣 🤣

Lilith starts to suspect about Phillip.

Lumity is very cute, but tbh, that was all for me, very good for kids, very good for rep and it all, but it’s raeda that got me! Older queers falling in love? Relationship ending even though they love each other? A chronic illness getting in the way of a healthy relationship? Being emotionally responsible even despite your feelings? This feels so much more relatable for me in so many ways, because I am aro and most of this lovestruck stuff doesn’t sticks for me, like, it’s very cute to watch!!! But it’s not relatable for me like 2 queer adults falling in love, when both have their lives pretty much figured out, and I c r a v e seeing older queers being normalized like that

HC that like glyphs, bard magic also draws magic from the island, and gets boosted by their user's magic, and that's why Eda, even cursed can make magic even with her curse but the magic gets all messed up. We see Raine use no magic circles (that presumably come from the magic bile sac) as well as the other bards, except for summoning their intruments, so this made me come for this conclusion.

I came up with that because of that Dana pic of Hunter playing guitar and because I am a sucker for Raine adopting Hunter, I would like very much for Raine (maybe even magicless, if rescued from Belos, after their coven tatoo gets destroyed to free them) teaching him how to use bard magic, or even just reaching him how to play an instrument and bounding with Hunter

The reason that the Boiling Isles are well, boiling, is because it’s an decaying corpse. Decaying stuff gets pretty hot, sometimes surpassing 70ºC (158ºF), so would make sense for a island that’s made literally from a dead body to be pretty hot

Raine telling Eda "I don't know what you running from" hits different now. Because that's the Eda they're used to. The Eda that runs away from people because she's afraid to be a burden, the Eda that tries to hide how she's feeling or how tired she is. The Eda who pushes people away afraid of being a burden. And the Eda who was ready to die because she thought her kids didn't need her anymore.

This also hits hard because she was finally ready to accept help, she was finally reunited with someone she loved but she pushed away because her curse, and now her curse wasn't in the way, it was helping her to connect with Raine. And she once again lost them, after being ready to accept help for once.
