So what if your lore isn’t perfect and your timelines don’t match. Or the interpretation of the characters isn’t how someone else believes they should be acting. Guess what? We all see and interpret the world around us differently.

What you believe is how something should be seen is not the only way it can be seen. And, hear me out, they’re fictional characters that we’re writing for free and for fun, putting the silly thoughts of what we believe into the world because it’s just one of the millions of ways to interpret what was canon. If someone just watched Attack of the Clones and decided to write a little fic about the story with the ideas they had, and they consume no other media about the storyline? It doesn’t make them wrong, it doesn’t discredit their interpretation, they gave light to how they saw and reacted to the media, and created a world in their heads with what they were given, about how these characters interact in their head, about what seems good to them.

I just. Let people see things the way they want to. Let them enjoy the worlds they built in their heads.

I’m not going to dig through thousands of hours of comics, books, games, and other various media to find out what’s canon and what’s my dumb thought, because at the end of the day, my dumb thought works best for me, and if you don’t like the way I interpret things, then just… don’t click on the story. Don’t go out of your way to make another person, who’s doing something that makes them even minimally happy, feel horrible about the things that make them happy.
