Ahmed Saad or @/90-ghost's brother in law is currently doing his best to organise the evacuation of his family from Gaza. This family suffers from a combination of ailments that all require medical attention. This is the description on their GFM page:
Hello, I hope you all are doing well!
My name is Mohamed Monir Ahmad Mahmoud, I’m a hemophilia patient from Gaza. I decided to start this campaign with all the hope that you could support me in evacuating Gaza to do surgery for me and my daughter and start a fresh life with my 5 kids out of the ongoing genocide in Gaza [...] I was supposed to go out at the end of 2023 to have surgery on my knees but since 7 October, I had no chance due to the procedures on Rafah crossing, the gate of Gazans to the world. Now, my knees and elbows are bleeding with no access to any type of care and if things stand as they are in Gaza, I won’t be able to walk or make any effort because of the bleeding (currently I am barely able to set up a small fire in front of the tent to prepare food for my kids).
What I ask is 60,000, for travel costs because each one would need to pay 5,000-8,000$ to be allowed to leave Gaza through Rafah crossing and we need around 3000$ more in Egypt for our stay and to obtain visas. We will be heading to Brazil where my brother Diaa lives and there is a huge chance to do the surgeries and access health care as the health care for Hemophilia patients in Brazil is one of the most advanced in the world.
please give generously!!

to me, the funniest thing about “that’s rough buddy” isn’t the fact that sokka says something patently insane with zero context seemingly out of nowhere, or the fact that zuko clearly doesn’t know how to respond. it’s the completely incorrect use of the word “buddy.” zuko would obviously like to be friends with sokka, but sokka is not, in fact, his friend. this is the most time they’ve ever spent together, and it’s because zuko invited himself to tag along on sokka’s suicide mission. at this point in the episode, sokka still hates this guy, perhaps less than he did a week ago, but he still hates him enough that he didn’t bother forcing zuko to stay home, which means he still didn’t really care whether or not zuko lives or dies. which, considering that he had tried to kill zuko multiple times in the past, is not all that surprising. this entire episode is essentially just zuko forcing his friendship onto sokka while sokka is legitimately too depressed to care. so when zuko calls sokka “buddy,” there’s a spirit of dogged optimism characterizing that epithet, because in no possible realm would sokka consider zuko his buddy at this point in the episode. and that’s something we miss when noting the iconicness of this exchange, simply because, by the end of this episode, they are buddies, so in our minds looking back on these lines, the implication of friendship doesn’t feel out of place at all. and really, it isn’t out of place, but only because zuko’s tenacity and determination (in this instance, his determination to befriend sokka) has always hugely outweighed his ability to read the room.

thinking of connor and shiv's relationship makes me want to pull my hair out. he calls her 'baby' and 'honey'. 'oh, hi, baby'. of course he calls her baby, he was in his middle twenties when she was born, she's forever going to be his baby. of course he hugs her to comfort her, he has done that a million times whenever she got scolded bc kendall accused her of spilling chocolate milk in the range rover or whenever roman made fun of her.

ok imagine an eddie that’s like “ok i’m gonna get my life together, i can’t play sold out shows completely out of breath all the time” so he decides to quit smoking, cut back on his drinking, and finally hire a personal trainer.
and it’s all well and good. his personal trainer, steve, is super hot and eddie kind of has a thing for the way steve tells him what to do. eddie’s never gone to a gym before, let alone had a personalize work out regime, so he’s just following steve’s lead.
he’s talking to gareth one day abt his regular routine, because ever since eddie’s been seeing steve, he’s had way more energy and their performances have never been better—gareth’s just wondering if maybe he should be getting in on this whole personal trainer thing too.
but gareth is left in complete shock when eddie gets to the end of his daily workouts.
“—and it’s just to help me relax, you know? loosen up all the muscles at the end,” eddie’s saying. “it helps so much and i feel so great after.”
“yeah i bet you fucking do,” gareth responds with a snort of disbelief.
“what do you mean?”
“uh. i don’t think it’s fucking normal for your personal trainer to jerk you off at the end of a session??”
“what?” eddie says, looking confused. “yeah, steve said it’s totally normal. it’s just a thing guys do at the gym.”
gareth has absolutely nothing to say to that.

you know who lost succession? jeremy strong. man gave his soul for kendall roy and gave it so beautifully and now he has to take his "i believe in making work where the sense of self and the character is amorphous" ass and go job hunting in a media landscape where the options are MCU hero#154 or olaf from live action frozen.
