Friendly reminder that it doesn’t make you a bad Carol fan or a bad Melissa McBride fan to be excited or even to watch Season 1 of the spinoff as I suspect there will be LOTS of callbacks and Carol mentions. Melissa seems thrilled to be in Paris for filming. I choose to support Melissa by supporting Season 1 as this will lay out the reunion of Daryl and Carol. I just wanted to say there is room in our fandom for all sorts of differing opinions. So please be joyful if you want and if you choose to not watch that is understandable as I know a lot of people have been deeply hurt. What isn’t okay is trying to negate the opinions of people who choose to have a positive outlook about the French spinoff. I just want people to know there are a lot of us who are excited and if you want to be excited with me, hit me up. I won’t bite, I promise, lol. 

I do choose to view things with my own eyes, I always have and 90% of the time, things were not nearly as dire as predicted. I am VERY interested to see how David Zabel handles the story of Daryl and Carol. But don’t take my word for it. Do a deep dive into Abby and Luka or Luby as their shipname was I believe. Mr. Zabel wrote a lot of their story and he wrote their wedding scene and it was precious.I really feel he will do right by Daryl and Carol. If I am wrong I will move on peacefully.
