i guess my blog is just talking about race specific issues in the syscourse / general system community. honestly? kinda cool with that

as a pro endo blog myself, i find it very telling the way some tulpamancers treat asian voices and i wanna analyze it using the "model minority" framework and how that plays to systemic oppression

from what i've seen, they tend to cherry pick things based off of what certain tibetian buddists and disregard their own actions on how theyre treating the tibetian and buddist community. theres an obvious difference between western tulpamancy and tibetian tulpamancy that they cant seem to see the difference in despite it... being there? for a lack of a better term

they WANT to justify their actions from a socially liberal standpoint by saying "this person from that culture said its okay" despite that person doesnt speak for the whole community nor may not have the nuances and information that other politically active people have.

how does play into the model minority? its by cherry picking these permissions, by silencing other marginalized people on this topic, and justifying their actions despite the cultural differences that plays into how they see oppression that they are picking a person from a minority that suits their argument and saying "this is the person of color you should listen to. this is the one we should acknowledge. and this is the only voice that matters".

now, it is feasibly impossible to listen to every asian voice nor is it healthy. but something ive also noticed is that they pull out these articles, screenshots, and blog posts not to better themselves on their internalized racism or get involved with a culture. theyre doing it to win arguments over the internet and use minorities as pawn pieces to say that their stance is correct.

that, by itself, is very telling.
