Grow Pot Review

So if you've followed me for a while you know that I grow orchids. I grow other plants too, but orchids are my main love. As with any part of the hobby its not cheap and finding good pot for any kind of plant, let alone an orchid, can be a pain.

So I found a brand of pot I like and have stopped buying them from anywhere else. They are sturdy, they last a long time and they are reasonably priced. So if you find yourself wanting a decent pot, here you go.

I snuck a tiny paint set in my luggage in the hopes that inspiration would come during my weeklong staycation in Kenting. It’s been a while since I picked up a brush, and my principle has always been to stay true and create only when I feel inspired to do so. Dendrobium aphyllum (syn. D. pierardii): Native to SE Asia and many of the islands stretching east towards New Guinea. A deciduous species that requires a dry winter rest without fertilizer to stimulate blooming. When I first started seeing AI art, I was wondering how I could push it with photography.  I was excited to see what people would do with it and how they’d push the boundaries of it.  The first thing I wanted to try was to develop an AI image, then use that as a starting point for a photo shoot.  Gina wanted to do a shoot with orchids and ferns.  So, we made an AI image of a female portrait around orchids and ferns using the new beta photo application in Midjourney.  I then used a program called Set.A.Light 3D to figure out how the lighting was done in the AI portrait.  For the most part, I’ve found that Midjourney likes to make images using paramount (or butterfly) lighting.  Once I figured out the angle of the strobe and shooting distance, we set up and took a few test shots. Gina did her makeup to match the makeup in the AI image and set her hair to be rather similar as well.
