An article I had written months and months ago and somehow forgot to post here!
We have quite a few articles in the drafting process right now, and fingers crossed we will remember all the places to share it.

It’s been a while, and we’ve been very, very busy in the workshop, from experimenting blending oils, designing notebooks, and preparing new prayer cords.  There is still a lot more to come as well!
All of these items are now listed up on our Etsy Storefront: Ordo Sonitus Lux.
In the meanwhile, we are also giving Tiktok a shot?  I know. I hate the drama, but figure if I just make shiny stuff I like, maybe I can avoid all the infighting and hexing the moon bs. So if you have a Tiktok account, come say hi: @RevenantOracle

This ritual invocation of Duke Bune was recorded by Ordo Sonitus Lux and performed by Fra. Solaris Liari. Nearing the Spring Equinox, the season of death is drawing to a close, and we await the quickening of seeds as the world awakens again.  In this troubling time, we call upon Duke Bune to help give us wisdom and guidance, and to help draw abundance to us that we may rebuild stronger and better. We would like to apologize for the poor quality of audio and video.  This was our first time shooting with this camera equipment, and while filming, we had no idea that the audio had gone absolutely down the drain partway through, nor did we realize that the camera would completely shut off before the ritual was over. This copy is as captured on the camera.  We will be reviewing the audio files to see if anything can be done to save them in the coming days, and try to see if we can use the audio (hopefully) captured by the large microphone we had running to the side of the altar.  Until that is straightened out, this is what we can present to you.  Enjoy! (I suggest that once the audio goes out, just mute it) As soon as it finishes processing, I will be making another post with an audio version only of the ritual, as the secondary microphone did, indeed, pick up most of it, and does not suffer from the same audio distortion that the camera went through.  Hopefully for future videos, we will figure out a good balance between the two!

Ave Murmur, Lord of Dissolution, Keeper of the Veil.
I just realized I never posted this here?  Pencils, sharpie, and gold paint in sketchbook.  Devotional art I did of Murmur in October 2019, using a reference of a funerary statue.

One of the many holidays celebrated by Demonolaters during the Spring Equinox is the Rite to Seere, and here Fra. Solaris Liari discusses the ins and outs of Prince Seere and how to construct your own Rite for this holiday. This video was made as a part of the Discord Spring Equinox Festival 2020 for the Demonolatry (by Ordo Sonitus Lux) Discord Server.  If you use Discord, there are a lot of great occult oriented servers that have banded together to make a wide variety of events available to people in an online setting for this year's Spring Equinox, and we highly recommend checking them out!

Been hard at it in the workshop tonight. I’ve missed sitting down and working on new projects, but now that I am mostly done listing things, I can do just that!

Here we share our first public seasonal Rite, this one for the Summer Solstice, which we performed for our temple and invited the members of the Discord server we officiate to join in on.
This is the write up for the steps of the Rite itself, for your use as you please.
Hail Gamigin! Hail the Waters!

Going through older posts, we haven’t shared the Youtube channel on here?
Right now it is primarily audio-book style readings of the Lesser Key of Solomon’s Goetia, cut into small videos for easy pause, repeat, reference, etc.
However, we do have a few projects in the works, so hopefully there will be a bit more soon! (Possibly a tour of Fra. Solaris’s tarot and oracle decks? More discussions on necromancy? General demonolatry videos?)
Let us know if there is a specific topic you want to see from OSL!

The Necromancer’s Prayer Cord
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This prayer cord was crafted specifically with the necromancer in mind, over a week of meditations to the death divine and in devotionals.  While Fra. Solaris Liari works specifically with the death demonic himself, he believes that this cord could aid in connecting with any of the death divine and the cthonic currents in a magician's work.
The Cord:
MOSS AGATE was chosen for the main prayer stones, numbering 9 as in demonolatry tradition, for its deep connection with the earth, with the transformation of new beginnings, and the deep calm seated within the stone.  It is soothing in times of grief, stabilizing in times of great change, and embodies many of the death divine in those regards.
LABRADORITE is featured as both the smaller stone accompaniment, the carved skull at the end of the cord, and the end bead at the top of the cord just before the finger loop.  Labradorite is associated with the Magician, the practitioner at work, manifestation through will.  Part amplifier, part focus, all strength.  The skull in labradorite, specifically, calls as a reminder to our work with Death, the reverence and inner-strength needed to walk this path with the cthonic divine and the dearly departed both.
OX BONE beads, carved similarly to the skull (not skulls themselves) dot between the labradorite and the moss agate, a firm connection to death, decay, and gentle repose.  The use of bone in this cord was essential to Fra. Solaris, for cementing its place as a necromancer's tool rather than just a general prayer cord.
Each bead is hand knotted to a waxed brown hemp cord, with each end braided to keep the skull and loop secure.
The cord comes in a black velvet bag for safe keeping, and will be anointed with a necromantic oleum crafted by Fra. Solaris Liari.
Get it here.

After writing that piece on daily routines and my own morning rituals, it seemed appropriate to take a picture of my own altar today after tending to it.
What about your altars?
