maybe the best part of having zac play in some side quests is realizing the entire ttrpg community agrees with the reigning tumblr opinion that zac oyama is the funniest mf on the planet
Tubbo: That’s right, I’m diagnosing you right now. As a Twitter user, I’m diagnosing you. I’m actually a licensed Twitter psychiatrist, you have attachment issues. I’m girlbossing you right now.
Phil: Oh wow. Really king, really?
Tubbo: Yeah really. I’m on Twitter, so I understand every single mental disorder ever. And I’ve diagnosed you. Being on Twitter is like having a psychology PHD, same thing.
I think a lot about that scene in stormbringer when Adam and Dazai meet where Dazai murders a guy, rambles on for a few minutes about what Adam probably thinks he’s going to say and gives exposition, and then tells him not to trust anything he says because he’s a compulsive liar. Peak Dazai tbh.
i've been sitting with wild blue yonder for a few days now & idk, i think there's something to be said about what the not-things knew about the universe & how. the way that all they knew of the universe was anger & hatred & violence bc it's so loud while all the good is so quiet. donna tries to refute it & say that there's more to the universe than the bad but the bad is all that the not-things ever notice bc it's all they can hear. i dunno, man, i relate to that. i'm always hearing about the bad shit, on the news, from social media, it's always the bad shit & i have to go looking for any of the good. i worry about the people who don't go looking for the good, who maybe don't know to. what a terrible world we would live in if the bad things were all there was to it. is that the world that some people around me are living in, just by virtue of the fact that it's the only aspect of existence they can hear?
maybe i'm reading too much into it, i don't know. but i was really struck by the idea of being confronted with this twisted version of myself who is convinced that there's nothing but anger & hatred out there, bc they were never exposed to anything else & didn't know to seek it out. & there's something to think about considering our individual relationships with what kind of news we receive, what kind we seek out, & how we respond to it all.

What was the saying?
An intelligent man is sometimes forced to be drunk to spend time with fools?
Well.
He supposed that was something Lev told him - Hemingway...?
Zed hadn't made it that far. Sobriety was still prevalent.
"You can say it as many times as you like," Zed's lip twitched, because whilst he had patience in the right circumstances. This was hardly a fine line of tolerance. Wavering a dismissive hand at the bar, he reached for his drink again, decidedly opting for the moral route. "It is wrong until you prove it right,"
And they wouldn't.
Pigs did not fly. Apple seeds do contain cyanide, and pineapple does not belong on pizza.
