So I just found the original script of Gunpowder Milkshake and the fact that Scarlet and Anna May were so explicitly gay in it but it was all cut makes me so sad/angry.

I do understand why in the final version Anna May didn't forgive Scarlet so quickly. I think in that short amount of time it makes more sense for her to stay bitter a bit longer as she did in the movie but lord WE COULD'VE HAD A NECK KISS

I really hope we will still get that sequel and this last scene will be part of it. We deserve explicit ScarletMay 🥺 we deserve to see them kiss

Anna May lets out a breath, letting go of fifteen years of anger. She turns to Scarlet.

ANNA MAY: You were doing the right thing.

SCARLET: (surprised) What?

ANNA MAY: I mean look at this place. That’s no way to raise a kid.

Scarlet is overwhelmed. There are so many things she wants to tell Anna May.

SCARLET: I missed you.

ANNA MAY: (in a good way) Oh, fudge you.

SCARLET: Fudge you.

Anna May takes Scarlet’s hand.

ANNA MAY: Just meet us at the diner. Come back in one piece, OK? Both of you.

Scarlet nods and lets go of Anna May’s hand. She takes one last look at Emily and turns away.

ANNA MAY (CONT’D): Wait.

Anna May pulls an ornate wooden box from the van. She hands it to Scarlet.

ANNA MAY (CONT’D): I kept the girls ready for you.

Scarlet opens the box. Inside it sit TWO BEAUTIFUL IDENTICAL HANDGUNS. White, etched with floral engravings. A gorgeous song starts playing. DAUGHTER’s YOUTH. It’s the only thing we hear as -

A SLOW MOTION SEQUENCE BEGINS]

[Image ID 3: INT. THE CABIN’S LIVING ROOM - MORNING WE FOLLOW Eva as she walks downstairs. She peeks into the living room and sees:

Anna May sits at a table, reading a book. Scarlet walks out of the kitchen. One hand in a splint, the other holding a cup of coffee. She walks over to Anna May and hugs her from behind. They move together to music coming from a nearby radio. Scarlet kisses Anna May’s neck.

EVA: Will you two get a room?

The two women laugh.

SCARLET: Oh, please. You’ve seen worse.

/So one of my personal theories about Eddie is that despite how clumsy he is, he can quickly get very overprotective if frank hurts himself once or trips I just think it would be cute and funny anyways here’s this random skit for such

Okay I’m thinking a lot about this. I’m actually hella fuckin disappointed that this wasn’t kept in. Not really because yes it is a shippy moment that I would have loved to see, but because in context, this scene makes much more sense.

In TSR, Katara looks up just as the rocks come down, and Zuko shoves her out of the way. They land on the ground together, and she angrily demands “what are you doing?!”

Like...she saw the rocks coming down..? Her anger felt unwarranted.

But waking up to a guy on top of you? That 100% warrants that anger, even if he was saving you.

I feel like if they really had to change up the scene from Katara waking up with Zuko on top of her, they should have changed the dialogue as well.

My favorite parts from the original Top Gun: Maverick script🙈

imagine Hangman hating his callsign?? Makes a great angst story ngl🌚

This could be taken in, in many different ways. But this literally seems so GAY of Hangman. Having the hots for his teacher?? Can’t blame him.

They have kids!!! I guess 2 girls, since in the movie (background) you can see two girls chasing after a little boy.

They also have older sons? So maybe the girls aren’t theirs? Or maybe they are? Who knows. But they (Iceman and Sarah) have a big family. My guess on sons would be 2-3 at best.

That’s my top favorite’s, I also like how Hangman would have originally gotten more screen time, but oh well.

My thoughts on the scripts

I've been reading lots of post of the leaked scripts about the original movie (before Chadwick's passing and what RC said on interviews) and the ones with all these cute scenes (not confirmed yet) and I've arrived to the conclusion that Shuri in Talokan was always gonna be a thing and here is way I think that:

T'Challa and Toussaint were going to be together for a great part of the movie to built a relationship. RC said that they were going to be having an adventure of their own, so… they needed another person to be on the acuatic kingdom.

Letitia confirmed that there were going to be 2 Black Panthers, and how will that be?? If Killmonger destroyed every heart-shaped herb, they needed another source to recreate their poition. Hence, the necessity of a person that could be near a certain king with access to another vibranium infused plant.

In the comics T'Challa's son married Namor's daugther so perhaps they tried to adapt the storyline to Shuri/Namor. To unite the two kingdoms in a more strong way. What if not with blood?

They look at each other as if they had meet before, soulmates anybody??? perhaps I'm overanalazing all this stuff but to me makes sense.

Thanks for coming to my TedTalk! I just needed to shared my thougths.
