Carl Hagenauer, table lamp, 1910. Bronze, Silk. Vienna. Via MKG
Carl Hagenauer was the founder of the "Werkstaette Hagenauer". The company was specialized in the traditional "Viennese bronzes", mostly candelabra but also products like this impressive lamp.

One of many Grammar of Ornament/Design-inspired prints I've made over the past few years. I don't experiment too much outside of printing with black ink but I think the phthalo green does something to level up this simple design.

Our incredible collaboration artwork with Ann! I love it soooo much!
The sketch and composition was done by Ann, I did the coloring!
Ann has posted our work before, but I wanted to post it on my blog too, it's very good!
It's our gemsonas, Ilmenite and Heliodor.

Flowers! An experiment with colored pencils on tinted paper. This is the first time I'm doing full color on a non-white background... Made some mistakes and discovered I need to underpaint all bright objects with white pencil!
More shots of the same picture:
Even though it's not perfect, I'm happy with the results and even moreso happy to share them! :3

Here's a black ink version of a print I've posted before in phthalo green (I ended up with some offcuts of washi that happened to be the exact same size as this block!)
Both versions are currently available here ✨
