I really wanted to do something for @ororomunroesource ‘s Ororo Week! But I had sick kid and spouse, so I missed it (by one day - aaah!) But I wanted to draw something different. Ororo is my favorite of the X-Men (therefore my favorite fictional character!) I could draw here with Jean Grey or Logan or T’Challa ...

But then I had THIS idea. A long time ago (when I was too young to know better) I wrote this fic about Ororo’s time wandering the plains when she was an awesome tween. I think this period of her life should definitely be discussed more! (A Young Storm movie plz??) 

But in this fic I wrote, Ororo befriended a lion pride. She developed a very close bond with a lioness cub named Wasa. They quickly became best buddies. Wasa became very protective of Ororo and was pretty good a scaring off her suitors (like T’Challa top right) Also, like most lions, Wasa wasn’t a whiz at climbing, so Ororo’s obsession for vertical space frustrated her.

Wasa was supposed to be an albino lioness, but I’m trash at drawing white animals rip.

I just love these two!!

Hi! I just wanted to ask if you know of any other blogs which are dedicated to specific comic book characters like yours is? Preferably ones which focus on the comic book side and not movies or tv shows.

There's a fair amount of comic only focused blogs but it really depends on which characters you want to see.
