The Mutant Apocalypse series - fanfic rating
the Mutant Apocalypse series is a tmnt fanfic written by OsitaBear26 on Wattpad. The series is currently on its sixth book (which is still being written). From this point forward there will be minor spoilers for the book, aka who the narrator is and who they're in a relationship with.
In the series, you read as Osita or Osa. Osa is paired with Donnie.
The series takes place in a zombie apocalypse type world that is a mix between the walking dead and the last of us.
This series is one of my personal favorites and the author has done an amazing job thus far.
I implore y'all to go read this story or, ya could just go support the creator!

Mutant Apocalypse 5: Black Masks
ONLY ON WATTPAD: BY OsitaBear26
Chapter 17: Am I Crazy to You?
****
Osa ran back to the tents late in the night while people carried infected bodies out of the community. Some others still needed time to relax and gather themselves. Osa found that Donnie wasn't in the tent, so she ran back out to see if she can spot him. She did.
Donnie was returning from the park with six horses following behind him on lead ropes. They nickered and nipped each other as they came back to the little shed near Mikey's tent. Osa sighed and walked up to him. "Donnie." She said as he tied the six animals up again. Osa pets Stamina and Lucky as Donnie looked each horse over. "Are they okay?"
Don nodded. "Yeah. They're just a bit spooked, that's all." He rubbed Stamina's neck and scratched Rain, and Streak's forehead. The mule, Dally snorted and so did the bay horse, Cash. After he finished tying them up, Donnie came out of the shed-like structure that the horses stood under. Osa's mind matured in a matter of months and hadn't comprehended how much muscle Donnie had. When the fire from the oil drums and flashlights cast on him a few times, Osa saw every detail on him. His sweating biceps, tough shoulders, a thin and healthy plastron.
She bashfully looked down. "I came to see if you were okay." Osa blinked once she met his eyes.
"I'm okay." He said, placing his hand near Osa's as they stood in front of each other. Then he speaks again. "Hey look... Osa--"
"Don. I don't really understand what's been going through your head lately. But I-I... think it's time I bring up the topic." She grew nervouse. Here goes nothing...
Donnie just stands there staring at Osa's face. She's serious and not going to leave him without a solid answer. Osa's mouth is shut tightly. Teeth on teeth. Donnie takes a deep breath in through his nose and out his mouth. He's trying not to become emotional because he knows how sorry he is. For everything that's happened.
"Don, it started when you scared April out of the tent. I heard you talking to yourself-- Arguing with yourself in fact. That's not normal, Don... So, do you even know what that was?" She asked. Donnie, now embarrassed at hearing this he looks at the ground and is trying to hold back tears because he really feels like he's going insane. Not only does his brother Raph says he's crazy, now Osa is, too. And at two separate times! He was the smart one, he was supposed to remember that being alone would cause this type of suffering and trauma. "Don, I really want to know the real you."
"Osa..."
"Don, I understand if you don't want me in your life right now... But my instincts are telling me that I... I need to be with you." She says. Those words caught him off guard. "Work on whatever it is you're going through-- make sure you start to feel like yourself again."
"Why do you feel like that-- like you need to be with me?" He asked. He desperately wanted to know. "Do you just think I'm sick and need a crazy home? Do you think I'm crazy?!"
Donnie composes himself after trying to process what Osa is trying to say. Maybe he is taking this the wrong way. But he feels like the odd man out. Two people have called him out and know whos how many others would stand up and say the same after what took place here at Edgeport.
"No! That's not what I'm trying to say at all." Osa is starting to feel like she's getting butterflies in her stomach and her confession is making her feel shy. But she's trying to power through so she can get the weight off of her chest.
"Then what are you trying to say, Osa?!"
"I love you, Donnie!" She turned around quickly because she didn't want to see a face of rejection or an awkward response. Osa clenched her eyes shut and waited for something to happen.
Donnie uses his left hand to turn Osa around slowly and peer down at her brown and blue eyes. He lifted her chin upward to him and went in for an unexpected touch they shared together for the first time. He realizes what he is doing and that he's finally where he belongs. When their soft lips touched, they felt each other. Don, cupped Osa's cheek and she gladly kisses back with all the feeling she had.
Shortly after sharing their first kiss, Donnie and Osa's lips disconnected before they looked into each other's eyes, stuck in romance. "I love you, too." He scoffed, staring into her eyes. Don felt peaceful again, like how he used to be before he changed. "It's everything they say it is..." The turtle whispered.
"What is?" Osa smiled, tracing her index finger on his plastron.
"A kiss." He grinned at her. "Warm, and dangerous..."

Chapter 09 || “United at Last”
Mutant Apocalypse 5: Black Masks
OsitaBear26 on Wattpad
****
Donnie has been gone for 8 months, making everyone believe he is dead. But now that he is in front of his potential mate, how does she feel about his return?
****
Now that Amber knows the truth about her brother, Duke and Vv went upstairs to sort out the garden seeds they had found earlier today. This means Osa and Donnie are left downstairs on the couch, staring into space and not saying a word to each other. It was just... weird to know that Donnie was right here in front of Osa's eyes, breathing and healing. He isn't dead.
But the thing is, Osa is nervous around him, almost scared to even speak to him in the face sometimes because he changed. She doesn't know if he responds to certain things differently. Of course, Osa was with him while he hid behind a mask but didn't know it was him. If she trusted Donnie behind a darkened mask, then she can relearn to trust him the way he is now.
"Th-The whole time?" Osa started softly, not making eye contact with Don.
Donnie turned his head to her, curious about her sudden sentence. "What?"
"The whole time... you...you were alive?" She finally met his gaze, waiting for him to answer her. Osa's eyes are tired, heavy, and nearly ready to close from such exhaustion. But she had to know where Don had been this whole time.
His eyes soften as he looked down at his lap, feeling awful about this whole situation. He knows that the choices he made affected Osa in many different ways and he hated how he let it happen. In his own defense, he felt like it was the right thing to do. "Yeah..."
Now Osa is going to ask the one million dollar question: "W-Why didn't you come back?" She sat forward on the couch, getting a better look at his facial features.
Don couldn't find words. He shrugged at her, honestly not knowing how to answer this question. "I'll be honest, Osa... I didn't try." He paused for a short moment. "By the time I got lost, my main focus was to live... and I was flushed out of the area by infected-- I didn't have a chance to find you all. There was no way for me to come back because I was becoming dangerous."
Osa narrows her eyes, not completely understanding what he had said to her. "Dangerous, how?"
"I'd be a threat. Just seven days after I got separated from you guys, I wasn't-- I started changing. And it obviously wasn't for the greater good. I always had to do something with myself." Donnie was trying his absolute best to remember those first few days when he became a whole different mutant turtle. If he thought hard enough, he can visually see himself throwing his truthful personality away. A single tear fell from his right eye, soaking into the mask Osa had dropped just many days ago. "My behavior became so violent that I wanted to destroy anything that came my way." He explained to her, still locking his eyes on her.
In the two months that Osa had known Donnie in the past, she found it hard to believe that Don would become dangerous. If only she knew what he went through in the past. She only remembered him as the comforter, the intelligent, and caring mutant turtle whom she met in December last year. She felt like Donnie wanted her to remember him that way, but it's totally impossible now that he is here in front of her, appearing and acting differently... Osa is going to get to know Donnie in a whole new way from now. "And..." Osa eyed the scars on his face, the scars closer to his mouth. "Th-Those scars?" She pointed, wondering what their meaning was.
Don was ashamed of the scars he had on his face. He can't get rid of them-- they're part of him now. "I don't want to talk about that..." He says gently.
The shapeshifter lowered her head, trying to process the fresh information. If Don explained that he was a dangerous individual, then is he still that way? "Are you that way now?" She asked. "Dangerous?"
Don shook his head. "N-Not really. When I found the twins, things got better... in a way."
Osa's eyes filled up with tears and hid her face with her hands. "I'm so sorry." She sobbed.
The turtle shook his head, leaning forward with her. "Sorry for what?"
"Not being there for you when you needed someone. If I had just jumped off that RV back at Hopeswell then I would have saved you from all of that." The tears just soaked her face, causing her to feel guilty-- feeling like she probably could have helped Donnie steer away from those terrible 200 days. He probably would still be the mutant she met if she saved him. Of course, being in the apocalypse, people will change but not like this! Don literally went through some kind of hell.
"Osa," Donnie says, scooting closer to her and moving her hands away from her face. "It isn't your fault. I kept myself away because survival was on my mind and not once did I think about going back..." He pauses. She met his eyes with hers and just admired them as she always had. "But I did think about you when I was able. Even when I lost the real Donatello." He said. With all the chaos and brutality that went on in his brain, Donnie still thought about her? It sounded incredible yet impossible. "I'm the one who should be sorry." For the first time since Osa had been reunited with Donnie, his eyes watered, full of sorrow and regret. "I'm so sorry, Osa. I'm sorry that I-- that I didn't come back to you or anyone else."
Osa broke down harder, hiccupping and struggling to keep her breath steady. She survived for eight months without her friend by her side and she suffered many brutal weeks, crying because she believed he died. She thought that she would have to continue to live without him in her life and she was getting used to it. Osa fell onto Donnie's plastron and he held her tightly.
Don may not be as emotional as her, but he understands what Osa is feeling. Since his change, he is numb in most bitter-sweet situations. He embraces the shifter with his left arm, frustrated that he can't hold her with two arms. As he rested his head on top of hers, Don shut his eyes, feeling the waterfall of tears fall out of his eyes. "I'm so, so sorry..."
Together, Osa and Don shared a moment, crying against each other's bodies. At the same time, they were happy to see and be with each other again, but what hurt the most, they know that Donatello will never come back or be the same.
It's like taking the first fix of drugs, a first snort, or the first injection... once someone takes the first step into a hard mental issue, it is difficult to return from it. And most of the time, the person is never the same.
Whatever Donnie's mind had been sucked into in the past, it was like a drug of some kind. Now, he can't come back as who he was, who he was born as.
There is no chance of him recovering from this.
Not again.

Warning: Hanging is mentioned
****
Don let himself inside the house, seeing that it is totally dark and no sounds were coming from inside. Gently, he set his heavy cargo down next to the front door before closing it behind him and gripping his staff firmly as he took his first few steps. The more he stepped, the wooden floors creaked underneath him, giving him a very eerie feeling.
The soloist made his way to the kitchen, thinking nothing would be in there except for some broken dishes and hopefully some water and food. Once Donnie stepped foot into the lit-up kitchen from the natural light coming through the window, he yelped in surprise when he saw a woman lying on the floor.
Her hair was knotted up, her eyes are closed, and the rest of her body was torn apart. Her intestines were falling out like noodles in a bowl, and there was a puncture wound to her head. She is surrounded in old dry blood, giving Don the message that this was an old death. To top off the carcass, flies were buzzing around the woman's mouth and the stench was dull.
"Ugh..." Don groaned, covering his nose as he moved on from the kitchen. Next, he found the laundry room that had a door leading to another part of the house. He knocked twice, thinking there might be something inside. Luckily, Donnie heard nothing and opened the door which led to the garage. He got yet another surprise and this time, he was fearful of it-- shocked. "Oh...Oh--sh-sh*t..." He couldn't get his breathing under control.
It was a man dangling from a noose that attached the ceiling of the garage. He had become a Walker, dangling from the rope, roaring at Donnie with his hands out. Below the man was a stool that was tipped over with a knife on the floor.
Don's eyes watered, feeling sick when he saw this man still hanging by the ceiling. He needed to take himself out of his frightful state and cut this man down from the rope. If Donnie is going to stay here, he can't have the knowledge of this man being in the garage. So, to make things a tad better, Donnie steps into the garage and cut the rope to bring the Walker down from the noose.
As the Walker thuds, it tried to stand up and charge for Donnie, but he was quicker than it. Donatello whimpered, pushing the Walker to the floor and stabbing its forehead with his spear-point knife. He grunts, feeling a few splatters of blood land on his face. "Oh..." He whined, dropping the knife beside him as he fell back on his hands and rear. Don backed away from the dead body, feeling the cement floor under him as he looks back at the side garage door that led into the house.
Don could feel his breathing become shallow, and when he looked at the garage's interior, he swore he saw the walls breathing and closing in on him. His vision darkened, things became blurry, and tears were streaming down his face within seconds. "No, no..." He cried, his chest tightening with cold sweats, and his mind wandered into his imagination the second he closed his eyes.
The mutant turtle suffered another anxiety attack; the fifth one this week. He eventually became so overwhelmed by the things he's seen and passed out on the garage floor, seeing faces he once knew before he had lost his way from his family.
Donnie could see someone running inside his head, another person yelling, and a dozen faces looking at him. Then, when he turned around in the nightmare, Donnie saw himself as one of those monsters, causing him to wake up from his mind. "AH! NO!" He sat up on the cement floor of the garage, seeing no one or himself isn't harming him. Don gasped, clutching his plastron and feeling his hands tremble.
He breathed out, slowly reaching out for his knife and gripping it in his right hand. He got to his feet and walked back into the house, closing the door behind him, and found himself standing in the laundry room. Don noticed that it was still light outside which means he hadn't been asleep very long.
Just when he was about to go get his stuff from the front door, a very faint voice caught his ears. He couldn't tell if it was a male or female. "What?" He says, turning around and seeing nothing in the living room.
Hey!
"Who is that?" Don grumbled at the voice, unable to pinpoint the source of the voice.
Donnie, hey!
Donatello turned his head left and right, seeing no one is in here. It's just him. "Don't mess with me." He says to the voice.
Here!
"Hey!" Don barked at it. "Where are you?" His vision blurred, and whenever he turned his body, he felt lightheaded.
Right here!
Then, Donnie's body couldn't take it much longer. His knees buckled underneath him, causing Donnie's 200-pound body to collapse near the front door, passing out for the rest of the night.
The sunlight had gone away for the next eight to ten hours, bringing darkness over the house Donnie slept in. Nothing came to bother him; not infected, no hunters, no disturbances of any kind.

'Morning Sickness'
This is published on Wattpad on my account, OsitaBear26. Mutant Apocalypse: 6
Chapter 71
Osa made her way to the stables where the horses waited for their evening grain. She gathered the heavy rubber pans, set them in the grain room, and stood up straight to feel her back nearly locked itself in place. She winced, grabbing her lower back before it did anything further. Osa leans on the closest wall to get a quick break before moving on to go round up more rubber pans from inside the horse stalls.
She walks to the first aisle of stalls, seeing Lucky and her foal is doing very well. "Hey, Lucky..." Osa greeted the paint horse, sliding the stall door open to go right inside to greet the baby horse standing behind its mother. "You guys hungry?" Osa asked, not expecting the horses to respond, but in a way, Osa knew what they were saying just by how their body language was presented toward her. Lucky nickered lightly at Osa, nudging her muzzle against Osa's abdomen. It seems the horse knows of her caretaker's unborn baby. It was as if she understood what Osa was going through as a brand new soon to be mother. "You sort of know what's going on, huh?"
Lucky pushes Osa lightly once again, signaling that the horse did understand.
"Thanks, Lucky." Osa kissed the large animal's forehead before picking up the rubber pan and stepping out of the stall. She dusted out the pan, removing all of the dust and old wood shavings.
Coming toward the stables, Donnie walked to one of the large main doors to see his wife is walking around caring for the animals she bonded with. He sighed when he found her putting the rubber pans into a pile and sweeping the stall aisles all by herself. "Osa," He says, getting her attention.
She looks up, stopping her sweeping chore. Right away, she rolled her eyes. "Go away." She says, continuing to sweep the stables.
"O," Don walks up to her, his staff sitting on his shell and his gadgets sitting on his person. His props jangle and make small noises as he walked. "You need to stop doing chores." He told her. She ignored him. Osa kept sweeping up the hay, wood shavings, lost pieces of grain, and horse hair. "Are you listening?" He asked, watching her grab the dustpan from the broom and crouching to pick the messy pile up from the concrete aisle.
"Can't hear you. I literally got half an ear." She says, walking to a trash can in the stable and dumping the pile into the container.
Don hated how she played hard to get and gave him so many cold shoulders. "Very funny..." He followed her. "Osa, you're seriously going to hurt yourself if you keep working like this." Again, she didn't listen. So, this time, he grabbed the broom from her. "Osita."
She felt the broom get snatched from her hands. "Give it back."
"No," Don replied. "I am not going to give it back."
Osa turned away, going to refill the horse grain like she was doing before. She picks up a few more of the rubber pans and takes them back to the grain room where more pans waited for a refill of horse feed. "Leave me alone. I'm not gonna say it again." Osa dropped the pans on the floor.
"I want to talk to you, Osa." He says, standing outside the grain room, the door wide open. He watched his wife fill each pan with different types of grain. "We need to have a discussion about this whole thing."
"There's nothing to talk about." She said, pouring a scoop of alfalfa into one pan.
Don leaned on the doorframe. "Damn it, Osa." He said with a whispery tone. "You're carrying our baby!" He barely raised his volume.
Osa roughly tossed the scooper into the metal bin full of grain, making a loud bang. She put her hands on her hips and stares at Donnie. "And you don't think I know that?" Her eyes stare at him. That one blue eye she had always pierced his soul and he despised that, but of course, still loved her. "Thanks for the unnecessary reminder." She bends down into the bin to grab the scooper.
"I'm just looking out for you like I should be. Would you rather have me not care?" Don still watched Osa place different grains in each pan.
"It would be nice." She says to him, being a real smart ass with him.
"Oh, knock it off with that crap!" He says to her. "You and I both know you would like some help."
She mocked, barely grinning. "Not from you."
Donnie crosses his arms. "This is all because I didn't get to Cormac in time? Are you seriously holding that big of a grudge on me?"
"Yeah, I am." She said, dropping the scooper into the bin and picking up three of the heavy rubber pans full of grain. Osa stacked them on top of each other and left the grain room with her husband not far behind. "I'm holding a grudge because you didn't try saving Cormac. I'm holding a grudge because you and Abby messed around in a janitor's closet, and I am holding a grudge because you f*cked me and got me pregnant."
Donnie's mind is blown. He feels like he totally got mind f*cked by his own wife. "W-What the hell?! Abby and I didn't even do anything! She came on to me and I pushed her away! You're welcome." He says, moving on to the next part of what she said. "And Cormac was riding a horse! I couldn't run that fast to stop him!"
"Whatever." Osa sets the pans down and takes the first one from the top. She makes her way to the first stall and drops it on the soft bedding of wood shavings for the horse. Osa closes the stall door.
"A-And you and I were both drunk when we had sex!" Don exclaimed, hoping she would just quit her stupid mind games that weren't working on him. "We didn't know you would end up getting knocked up."
Osa steps out of the stall and shuts it. She moves on to the second stall. "Well, too bad there ain't any condoms for your--your size!" She passes by him, bending over to grab another pan.
"Oh-ho, sh*t." Don chuckled, standing next to the final grain pan. "Osa, come on."
"Donnie, I really don't want to talk to you, but here I am." She says from the horse stalls and closes them up after giving the animals their grain.
She was coming for the last pan of grain, but Donnie picks it up and raises it above his head. "I'm not giving you this pan until you talk to me."
"Tough sh*t." Osa answered, going back to the grain room to get the other filled-up pans.
Don groaned, taking a few steps forward, and stopped. "Osa--" He rubbed the bridge of his nose and adjusted his glasses. "Osa, you're gonna--" Then, he felt her body against him, shoving Don to make her way to a nearby garbage bin.
He watched her spit out a load of her lunch, releasing the burning vomit. She coughed, held her hair back, and hacked a ball of spit. As she let it all out, she felt Donnie touch her back. Right away, she shot up and pushed him from her space. "GET AWAY FROM ME!!" She whined, her eyes watering, face turning bright red. Her voice startled a few of the horses. "I don't wanna talk to you, look at you, or even think about you!"
The valiant leader looks down at her, not hurt by her sentences. He chooses his actions and words carefully. Donnie walks toward her, causing Osa to pin her back against the wall, trapped by the tall mutant. "No matter what you say to me, I'll continue to love you and that baby. Sooner or later," He pauses, leaning closer to her face. "You'll want me, just like how I want you..." He steps away from her, going for the exit of the stables.
Osa pinned her ears back, pissed off about the entire chat they had. She swallowed the pressure in her throat and glances down at a yellow pail at her feet. Osa grunts loudly, kicking the bucket in frustration and watched it bounce off the wall and roll into the middle of the aisle.
She sat down in a chair that was in the stables, regrouping herself before she continued taking care of the horses.
Snot ran out of her nose, her eyes are puffy, and her cheeks are a shade of blush. Osa removed her glasses, dried her tears with her jacket's sleeve, and took a few deep breaths. She looks to the outside and found Donnie is halfway to the school.

Blaming
This is published on Wattpad at OsitaBear26, Mutant Apocalypse: book 6 - The Valley (Chapter 70)
Osa strolls the hallways, hearing her nieces squeal with such intensity, and that ruckus startled her sometimes. Ever since the Wicked War ended, she's been having some terrible PTSD moments throughout her present days. Her heart raced whenever she heard some kind of commotion going on around her home, and the volume never died down.
If she heard screams, accidental gunfire, saw a knife, it bothered her greatly. She brought a hand to her chest, trying to calm her crazy heart and mind that is full of false reality. "Breathe..." Osa says, inhaling deeply and exhaling it out. "I'm home. I...I'm home."
She pinned her back against the wall, seeing the images inside her head from that night. Osa could see Lilac grin, hear Amber's screams, feel Leo's last breath, Ranger whimpering for help, the constant gunfire, so many things went on at once inside her head. The infected chomping at her neck, the roars, shrieks, it's like she is still there-- like she never left that battlefield.
And a hand suddenly touches her shoulder. "Osa?"
"AH!" She yelled, swatting her husband's hand away. Osa flinches at her Donnie''s soft touch. She panted, looking up at his scarred face, her nerves shaking underneath her skin. "It's you..." She says in relief.
"You had another episode, didn't you?" He says, noticing the sweat on her temples.
"It was mild." She replied bluntly, refusing to make eye contact as she walks back to Donnie's bedroom, him following her. "It wasn't big like last time."
"Babe," Don says. "You've been wandering around a lot lately and we both know it can trigger--"
"Don't." She said, opening the door to her old bedroom.
"Don't what?" He says, coming into the room with her.
"Don't call me 'babe'." She said, pulling a drawer open by her nightstand. Osa starts to yank clothes out, tossing them on the bed. "And I've told you to not talk to me."
Donatello knew why she was being like this. She has had a massive grudge against him since Cormac died during the Wicked War. She blamed him for her brother's death because he didn't get to him in time. Through her mind, Osa thinks Donnie let Cormac bleed out and didn't attempt to save him. "Rosita," Don said her full first name. "I know you're mad at me, but..." He sighed, coming closer to her as she packed her bag. "You can't let this go on forever."
She laughs at him. "Yes, I can." Osa continues stuffing her clothes into a small duffel bag. "You knew. You KNEW!!" Osa points a finger at him. "You saw Cormac ride into battle, knowing it was a terrible idea, right?" Osa looks at Donnie as she zipped her bag up. "Right?" She repeated.
"Right..."
"And you didn't stop him. Instead, you let my brother get shot to his f*cking death!!" She shouts, tears pouring down her face within seconds. "Y-You let... Leo die. You let Bayard, Barran, the leaders, Amber-- EVERYONE die."
Don usually never took any of this talk personally. He just knew his wife was upset about losing people she cared about so much. Her brother is one of them who made it a lot harder. But now that she brought Don's brother into this, he fired back without thinking. This time, he did take it personally. "Do not bring Leo into this!!" He yells. "Don't blame everyone's deaths on me! I was there! I was there when Leo took his last breath, and I put down Amber!!" He bellows. "We knew people were going to die by this piece of sh*t group!"
Osa narrowed her eyes at him through her glasses. "I didn't know my baby's father would become an assh*le."
"What the f*ck, Osa?" Don barked. He shook his head at her, thinking her hormones got the best of her. "You know what? Your hormones can kindly f*ck off!"
"Oh, f*ck you, Donnie," Osa said, pushing past him with her duffel bag full of small items.
Donnie rolled his eyes, following Osa out into the hallway. "No thanks! You already did that!" He knew how to get under her skin even more. "But if having sex gets you to talk to me, I'm down!"
Osa snapped around, nearly halfway to the balcony of the Commons. "Yeah right! You'll be lucky to ever touch me again!"
"At least we'd be sober this time around!" Donnie screamed. "And I wouldn't have to imagine what it would be like while jerking off in the bathroom!" He screamed probably louder than he meant to because anyone that was in the hall heard him.
The mutant turtle didn't want to go after Osa. He went back into the room, yanking his glasses from his face and throwing them on his bed. As the new leader, he was stressed with so much going on around him. He was in charge of a lot of people, Anzen, the chores, keeping things organized, and he was going to become a father in less than eight months.
Donatello didn't understand how Leo did this when he was alive. He sat down in his room, not sure what to do next. He put his flesh and bionic hands on his forehead, resting over his knees.
Vincent was listening to the conversation the entire time and slowly came around the corner. She peeks into Donnie's bedroom, finding him sitting on his bed. "So..." She started, making Donnie shoot his head up. "You really jack off in the bathroom?"
"What the hell are you doing eavesdropping?" He snapped at her, slightly embarrassed. He felt his cheeks heat up after that piece of information had been heard.
"It was kinda hard not to when you guys were shouting so loud," Vincent replied, walking through the door. "What's going on?"
Don scoffed, thinking of how stupid this is. "Osa and I got into an argument."
Vv groaned, pulling up a chair to sit down. "Again? What about this time?"
"What do you think? She still blames me for her brother's death and I--" Don was trying to explain what the argument was, but Osa's father, Squire stepped into the room with two simple knocks.
"Hey, what's going on?" He asked, squeezing his wings through the narrow classroom doorway.
Don kept quiet for a few seconds before answering his father-in-law. "Osa and I started up..." He says, not very fond of this whole situation.
Vv leans back into her chair, looking up at Donnie. "You guys seriously can't keep doing this. You both have a kid on the way. Speaking as a mother, you both need to work this out as best you can for your baby's sake."
Squire crossed his arms, looking at his tall mutant son-in-law in the eye. "Donnie, if she was your girlfriend, damn, I would end it..." He paused. "But you're both married, and you have some major history I don't know of. Since you got a kid coming, you gotta make amends somehow."
Vincent agreed, nodding to him. "Yeah, Don." She says. "If you were just a plain couple, end the relationship. But you got a baby coming, you're married, you have a unique bond and--"
"Unique bond?" Don chuckled at Vv. "She's-- she's a--"
"Being a bitch?" Vv finished for him.
Donnie and Squire look at the young woman sitting in the chair, surprised by the choice of words she used. "What?" The turtle says.
"A bitch." Vv said firmly. "She's pregnant, so am I! We're bitches! We blame it on the hormones."
Squire breathed out deeply. "Well, she does have a point." He says. "Rosita is also a shapeshifter with a lot of animal DNA which makes things very difficult."
"Well, f*ck." Don replied, leaning back on the mattress with his hands.
The Flight shifter shifts his posture to Donnie. "I'm gonna give you one piece of advice and that is to go and talk to her again. It won't be easy, I get it, but you still need to try. I won't tell you what to do, okay? I'm just encouraging you to keep trying." Squire turns away, squeezing out of the bedroom and walking down the hallway.
Don looks at Vv. "You got any advice, too?" He asked her.
"Don't f*ck up." She says, smiling.
"Wow, you are a bitch." He laughs with her.
"Thanks," Vv says, standing up. "But seriously, if you need me to talk to her, I will. But it should be you first." She walked up to the door, approaching the hallway.
Don stopped her. "Hey, Vincent."
She turns around. "Yeah?"
He smirked at her. "Thank you for being like a sister to me. Really."
"No problem." She grinned widely, patting the doorframe once. "And speaking of sisterly love, jack off in your room next time." Vv left the room, giggling.
Don smiles, giving a thumbs up.
