So basically its a little abstract but hear me out The idea comes from the definition of the word 'apotelesma' which translates to "the influence of the stars on human destiny"- and in the case of origins, it relates to how o!jordan and o!scott are bound to each other in a way that transcends soulmates, its more like having an intent and purpose on two sides of the same coin, being so inherently tied together whether it be what you're seeking or why you were there in the first place, that it manifests in the form of a power so great that it has the potential to influence how things go.

In the case of Jordan and Scott, its that they fall on two sides of justice (the balanced/calcuated side, with Scott being Ia's son, and Jordan the more not necessarily chaotic, but driven/passionate side as Dia's son) and are bound to the Overworld and the Homeplanet (respectively), the two forms of home- they bridge that metaphysical gap by providing the other with a second half to some kind of intrinsic power they already possess. And they can use that for all sorts of things, but mainly to create rifts (contd.)

(Its also meant to sort of explain why once only purple particles on Scott are suddenly becoming red more frequently, because his soul bound guy is here now. It'd be even further proven if Jordan starts showing purple in his particles that them existing in the same place is empowering one another in a funky kinda way)

From a practical standpoint, this is how I think Jordan's gonna be able to get back to the homeworld- via some kind of portal, some kind of rift. The way he talks about the homeworld makes it seem like very distant place, and to me that makes me think about it that its a place alike to the End, or the Nether, which can only be accessed via portals. So, what if the homeplanet is maybe 4 wormholes away, or a dimension alike to the Nether that could be accessed via something like an Aether portal. So the stars above the sky are an Aether i guess?? idk I think it could just be really neat?? but the catch is that for it to work under this whole pretense I've set up, they'd need a key (like a flint and steel to activate it that they'd have to work together to make)

And the parts of that key could be something they'd have to craft (that only they can) based on some intrinsic quality they have about themselves, or if you wanted to get some kinda Big Server Endgame lore, it will involve the two of them having some kind of hand in an event that either saves or drastically alters the server in someway; I started thinking about having to save it, along the lines of corrupted fabrics of reality at the hands of the DMCA something something opening a rift to protect the server

Jordan's half of this "influencing" power comes from his dad, cause in SKoD Dianite uses a similar power alongside Queen Khailani to banish Anphidhea to the Spaces Between; Scotts comes from Ianite, but is amplified in the time he got shot from the homeworld to the Overworld, something about wormholes and stuff i haven't quite figured it all out yet [:

New dsmp and origins Ranboo theory just dropped bitches

So you know those theories about them being the previous time traveler? And you know how in origins SMP the "do not read" book was shown and all that stuff? I like to think that maybe, just maybe, instead of where some people have been going that osmp!Ranboo is a descendant or some sort of ancestor for the DSMP lore, that maybe they are dsmp!Ranboo.

If we play with the idea that they're a time traveler who happens to forget everything, who's to say that's not Ranboo before they got all fucked up?

They're an enderman, but there's no real information about what the other half of them is. Then there's the inbetween and the other side, black and white. Karl gravitates to the other side, but what if Ranboo was the outcome of sticking to the path, of being loyal to the inbetween? What if the other half is a sort of mark or scar from the inbetween? Nonetheless why the other side seems so distressed and hellbent on getting Karl away from the inbetween?

I feel like that would be really interesting backstory for their "pick people, not sides" ideals, that it's something more of an impulse- a response or warning from the last shreds of who they were that's buried now, rather than just an opinion, because while they don't remember the things they saw through their travels in time, something does. It's something they're obviously passionate about, as their speech before doomsday proves.

Basically, I like to think that the inbetween and other side can corrupt people, I mean come on, look at those portals, they look invasive. Nonetheless there's the sheer fact that a previous time traveler had to be replaced because their memories got so messed up.

I feel like the whole enderwalk thing could be involved with that somewhere too (because I also like to think that they're just mistaking what it actually is), but I feel like there's still too much left unsaid to speculate about that yet.

My main question is how does the memory loss work? Does it act as a side effect of brain damage, or is it repression? Because you know the shit you'd see while looking at different outcomes in time would be pretty damn traumatizing, but also being thrown between time periods could cause stress on not just your brain but your whole body.

My roleshuffle Ranboo design! You've all probably noticed a major difference between him and C!Ranboo, though...

I left out the white split. Why? Well, correct me if I'm wrong, but even though C!Ranboo was never confirmed nor denied to be the previous time traveler, it was the leading theory. Plus, cc!Ranboo was already known to use the theories from fans to his advantage, so if I had to wager, he probably was the previous time traveler. HOWEVER, in my Roleshuffle AU, he's not in that role anymore. Someone else is going to be the amnesiac with black and white theming. Therefore, it wouldn't particularly make sense for Ranboo to have the split, especially since he generally confirmed that he's not a double hybrid (just an enderman).

Anyways, this allowed me to go full force with the eight foot tall, enderman-hybrid design. I didn't want it to get too confused with his OSMP character, so I felt it was reasonable to leave his iconic red and green eyes. He's been one of the most fun characters to draw thus far, so you'll probably see him a lot. Enjoy!

As a former Wilbur fan and as an artist who made so many drawings of him and his characters, first of all, I really think I need to say the future of him appearing on my account and also a few words about the situation.

I am not sure if I'm going to draw c!Wil (or q! or o! or any) anymore which also includes crimeboys, sbi and tntduo. Even if it's just a character I don't think I am comfortable with it at least for now. Im definitely not going to draw cc!Wilbur anymore.

I do think that it's Wilbur because as someone who watched his content so much i understand how similar everything that Shelby said about him to Wilbur. I understand how painful it is to actually believe that it was him since to many, including myself, Wilbur was a role model. That's why I understand why some people want proof I really can't blame you. But there's already enough proof. Watch the entire VOD and there are many screenshots of Shelby's and other people's related to him in some ways tweets on tumblr. Please stop denying it.

I'm also not gonna pretend that I know Shelby that well. I like her podcast a lot, I watched some of her POV on osmp and I watched some of her Empires2 POVs. And i was actively supporting Wilbur since 2020. Yet Im on her side because i genuinely believe that's him. Because there's no denying that it's him for me. It's him and his actions were terrible (even if they were caused by mental health issues).

Support Shelby. If you're making a post about the situation don't make it about Wilbur(unless you're announcing something as a writer or an artist). Don't try to analyse his lyrics, don't try to make theories, don't try to be detectives, don't try to defend him or excuse his behaviour. You don't know him. Don't focus on him don't make him the centre of attention, because that's how you're forgetting about Shelby(Im not saying it's not important to acknowledge that it was him or the things that he did. In no way im defending Wilbur but seriously i see more posts about him than posts about Shubble. It's just not fair towards her ). Make it about her experience. Physical (and non physical) abuse comes in many ways, sometimes you can't notice it until it's destroying you. That's why Shelby shared their story in the first place. To raise awareness.

Talk about Shelby as much as you talk about Wilbur. Talk about what they wanted to say with their story. Talk about supporting Shelby. Talk about their experience and the things they had to go through. Talk about your experiences with abuse. Help each other, care for each other. Always believe victims. Stay safe.

ok I watched like 2 different brother bear clip compilations for this so I hope I’m right. First image: u!boo gets rained on/takes a bath/walks under a waterfall and is mopey about it.

Second image: Mermaid enemy or boss, possibly Niki because genloss was kinda about how content creators(esp women and queer ppl) were boiled down to stereotypes and mermaids are something Niki has been associated with since OSMP, along with “nice”.

Third image: Sneeg and Charlie attempt to hide from who I’m guessing is U!ranboo, it doesn’t work, they attempt to communicate that they’re not interested in eating them or were once a friend, and neither sneeg nor Charlie believe them. The image is taken from brother bear, wherein the moose are two arguing-but-love-each-other brothers and are talking to an offscreen bear (transformed human) who is insisting they won’t eat them and was once human.

also my theory about the do not read in osmp was not only just a easter egg about cranboo come on now. I think the book in s2 genuinely could've been something that put a rift in her finding community in origins and would've been a big narrative point for her coupled with the fact that she can't go home. And she would feel like she can't go back and he she can't find home either. and then it would turn out that she never wrote the book even though because of alll of it maybe she convinced herself that she did, like maybe she really was that terrible more so than the casual arson/being kind of pretentious, you know? And maybe it'd take otommy and osneeg and all the little friends she made along the way to help her feel welcome whether she really wrote it or not. It doesn't matter. She deserves love and community. And owilbur would've forgiven her im sure.

60% of my actual art process is just me fiddling with colors because I can’t grasp color theory by instinct. I tend to just throw down some generic grey or an approximate blue while putting down flat colors, then I spend about an hour of so just adjusting the tones until it looks cohesive.

And don’t get me started on shading. Fuck shading. There’s a reason I just use one single color and scribble in approximate shadows then slap the multiply layer effect onto it. If I can’t grasp color theory with flat colors, it’s definitely not coming together with shadows. There’s a reason I don’t use my painterly style unless I’m just slapping some concept design together. I did that a lot in the early days of me figuring out what kind of aesthetic I wanted to go for with my DSMP (and OSMP) designs. The colors clashed horribly

Okay. In Captain Sparklez stream Tubbo tells him that his biological mother's name is Petunia and that his mom isn't his real mom. This is a joke but obviously it has me thinking and when I think shit gets funky

My theory is that the King had an affair with 'Petunia', who gave birth to twins, Scott and Sparklez. Sparklez was fine to have in the family because he was red and looked fairly like the King, but Scott was purple and looked very much like 'Petunia'. So to cover it up, baby Scott was yeeted into the atmosphere.

Idk about y'all but I think I'm. I might be on to something. I'm back on my bullshit but this time it's slightly more intelligent bullshit. Twin Scott and Sparklez. Just think about it. It would be fun. Imagine the angst.

Okay but I still absolutely love the idea of Origins being set in the far future of the dsmp because it could very well solve all the reasons why the server is so strange and glitchy and seemingly broken. It’s just the magic of the world trying to cover up the ruins of civilisation.

And no characters in any way are connected to the dsmp, it’s just that they have similar names and mannerisms. Just imagine a normal mining session, you hear bats and think “oh there must be a big cave nearby” so you begin to mine in that direction. Moments pass, and now you’ve arrived in a small cliff overlooking a large crater all the way down to bedrock. 

 However here’s the strange bit. There’s no deepslate except for the tunnel you came from and the very high roof. It’s just stone and vines and grass that are somehow still preserved despite the little to no light in the area. You squint downwards and see what the historians call “old iron ore” but you’ve never seen this particular kind of iron before. It’s different. It’s unnerving. It’s strange.

You climb down from your spot on the cliff and find your feet landing on rotted and creaking wood reminiscent of a mineshaft, however there are no chain links attached to the ceiling nor is some of it connected to the ground. Bits and pieces are hanging and hovering in the air. You begin to realise “This was man-made” Then you ask later. “What happened here?”

So you explore some more. You pass unfinished projects and large buildings and iron doors stuck together for no particular reason. You pass by the church with faded banners and dried off paint. You pass by chests still filled with items and restaurants still stocked with surprisingly preserved ingredients.  Then you walk even further and find yourself crossing a bride over what could’ve been a large lake and see a town called Snowchester.

Except there’s no snow. 

You find a mansion and go inside, wincing at the creak of the doors and wood. You walk up aged stairs and enter what seems to be a child’s room. Decked in dusted over toys and painted with thick layers of dust and dirt. “Who lived here?”

Then you find a photo with blurred out faces and faded handwriting that you can barely read and the questions grow louder and louder. You have little answers, and more questions than you entered with. 

You decide to leave, perhaps you’ll visit this place another day. 

You pass by a museum and raid it, picking up books and pictures and maps of a place you can’t find the name of. You pick up a faded and burnt and dusty flag of blues and reds and whites and yellows and blacks.  Perhaps the antiquarian will find a use for these.
