A piece about accepting sadness.
It's inspired by the quote I added, which is from the Youtube video about "personifying death" by Red of Overly Sarcastic Productions.
The conclusion she draws at the end profoundly touched me and thus inspired me to paint a quick piece for myself to go along with it. In what she says about sadness, death, and catharsis, she gave me catharsis as well.
Here's the link to the video! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zx4ByQpIMBE
(For anyone interested in only the conclusion I'm referencing, I suggest going to the 14:40 minute mark and watching until the end of the video (though I also highly recommend the rest of the video and the channel as a whole, if you're broadly interested in story telling analyses and history))
I present to the Rolling With Difficulty fandom my first fanart of the series. A meme for Episode 2 of season 4, when they see Cyprius. I hope you all enjoy, I spent way too long on this.
And if for some reason you can't figure out the meme, it's this:
When your brother is being possessed by the evil, abusive emperor but that frame rate is just so high
Based on one of the example panels from Overly Sarcastic Productions's Mind Control Trope Talk, by @comicaurora. It fit too well for me to not do a lil redraw. Her style is really fun honestly
(Obviously no reposting or using without permission! Original panel and link to the video below the cut)
That ^^^ shows up at 1:47 (but also, just watch the entire video, and all their other ones while you're at it)
