First, Weverse and its damnable Weverse Shop. Two apps, both free UNTIL YOU GET BIT BY THE MERCH BUG or desperately need to see In The Soop 1 and 2 or all the Bon Voyages or concerts - because many of those things are available for purchase through Weverse. It's the official retail arm of this Bangtan Sonyeondan Shit and It. Is. Fun. Hit that media tab and enjoy the free RUN: BTS and posts and then if you wanna buy, you can do that. (Unless you're in the UK and a select few other places, because Weverse Global does not ship globally. WEIRD.) You'll need a free account, use the same one for both apps by getting Weverse first and then loading the Weverse Shop and using your Weverse ID to log in. Here's a whole ass tutorial on how to load and use Weverse and the Shop from Youtube.

Weverse has a basic post-and-comment style format but it is also the avenue BigHit uses for official announcements and the guys sometimes show up and post pics, comment or make their own posts. If you get a notification that says "Special for Your Username" it's.... NOT. Sorry kids. We all see our own user name in there. And the first time we saw it we all went "ME?!" Then we have VLive. VLive is basically a video platform the guys use to chat with us. All those Lives and random videos you see getting translated are from... VLive. You can see them later on youtube, but it's so fun to be awakened at 3 AM because your phone tells you someone is Live. And you DON'T KNOW WHO until you get into the app.

THAT ISN'T A VIDEO YOU GOTTA GO TO VLIVE FOR THAT. They are arranged by date, usually. Pro tip: If you are watching a VLive NEVER ASK THEM TO SPEAK A DIFFERENT LANGUAGE IT'S FUCKING RUDE. And whatever you do, LEAVE YOUR SHIP OUT OF THEIR SPACES. That goes for every platform they're on, but specifically Weverse, VLive and Instagram. That woman makes her money by dissing BigHit and playing Jimin as a whore and Jungkook and Taehyung as unstable, controlled puppets of an evil corporation AND SHE CHARGES PEOPLE FOR THIS SHIT AND THEY PAY HER FOR IT. NO. She and Dave Discii are the bane of any decent ARMY's peaceful Youtube existence. AVOID. The Larrys of this fandom live under their tuneless bullshit umbrella and WE DON'T DO THAT HERE because WE ARE ADULTS with FUNCTIONING CEREBRUMS. And TikTok is.. it's TikTok, it's FINE. It ain't gospel. Neither is Twitter and @BTS_twt has pretty much deserted the bird app AND YET WE WAIT and kvetch and bitch and moan and cry, but Twitter is a good place to get new info if you're not scared of toxicity and fan wars. Good memes sometimes, too. And NSFW fan edits, I dunno, I see 'em sometimes. It's good for info and not taking things personally.

THE GAYEST GAY I SAW THE OTHER DAY Or: 2020 Grammys VLive PART TWO

Where was I? Oh yeah. ORIGINAL CONTENT FOR TRUTH AND CONTEXT HERE:

He's about to go in, kids. It's at about 9:40 in the original VLive which is in part one of this post. AND THERE HE GOES. Jeon Jungkook, main singer of BTS and worldwide pop idol, without a Jimin to settle him:

Jimin does not even blink. Hobi is unbothered, living as he did for YEARS with a Koo in Jimin's bed. At one point, somewhere earlier in there, Koo also went in on Joonie's hair and Jimin just glanced fondly in his general direction like "dammit these things are hard on my baby". Jimin handles "these things" (publicity, sitting still in general) much more easily than his man and he's quite accepting of that. Also he SAW USHER SO.

Fair's fair. Jimin gets to eyeball his crush, Koo gets to fix Namjoon's hair.

BUT OH WAIT it's time for... champagne!

Teleport Jeon to the rescue of the camera and his own sanity.

I think we can all agree that Jimin is absolutely worth staring at, but see the set of Kookie's jaw? Our mans is not happy because Jimin-ssi realized that he was Out Of Order (as per Bangwatch Behavior At The Grammys Protocol For Married Couples) and moves to the opposite side. It caused enough distress for Jungkook's tongue to try to make an escape via his cheek. I actually felt bad for both of them by this time, because while Jiminie handles placement issues better, kinda, he would always much rather be near his man. Especially when said man is looking FINE LIKE THAT and also suffers from either anxiety or boss-level ADHD. Jimin is Jungkook's center. Which: that said I have always wondered why Jimin is the moon and Jungkook is the sun when the opposite is actually true. Hasn't made sense to me for several years now. ANYWAY.

Look at them. All of them look amazing but I'm just busy noticing the champagne glasses. And also that, damn my image limit, Jimin went through two glasses in rapid succession and might have gone for a third. Because he too is tired and stressed and elated and he knows what's coming up next. STAMP COLLECTING IS GONNA HAPPEN. Philately and stress release. Both of those things.

Well fuck an executive order, Jungkook still has control of the camera and two three glasses of champagne ingested rapidly are at play and there is no frame that does not need the Jeon-Parks in it. Especially when there's a camera lens through which they can stare at each other. They think they're slick. They ain't slick. Fruity as hell but not slick in the least. Keep your A/B/O fanfiction to yourself (Jimin would be alpha in any event).

Jimin is also Over This Shit by now. Jungkook has moved the camera totally to highlight Jimin while ostensibly focusing on Tae, who is trying his damnedest to make a speech and is very cute and also pretty, but Jimin knows what his boyfriend is doing and obliges. I ran out of image space but there's a kissy face right about here, too. Jimin just.... loses it for a few seconds and it's adorable. The Jeon half of the household agrees with me.

Oh. Let the touching commence. "Fixing his jacket," Jimin? PFFFTTT HE WAS JUST TOUCHING THOSE PECS THAT'S ALL IT WAS AND THEN AND THEN JUNGKOOK GOES "Thank you" in English and it is THE CUTEST. They're just eyefucking now. Hobi needs another drink. And Yoongi, well. Yoongi ain't care, he is not even surprised, it's just Friday at the Jeon-Park house. Seokjin, though. He knows the rules. And Namjoon is not, this time, for once in his LIFE, in the middle. Exactly. FIVE GUYS ARE IN THE MIDDLE and no one is in the middle and this is what happens, PD-nim, when a Jeon goes rogue and STILL HAS CONTROL OF THE CAMERA.

So they wrapped it up. Because what other choice was there, sixteen minutes and twenty seconds into the Story Of True Love Kept Apart By Closetry And Public Decorum? You can't fight the War of Hormone with that much champagne. It's not possible. What you do is smile pretty and disperse, politely, lest there be another kissing-noises-on-video moment. I need David Attenborough to narrate the entire mating dance, for real.

Mark. the poor boy had a picture of you and him as his homescreen. yeah, not his smartest choice. he was on vlive and was showing fans something on his phone and he completely forgot about his homescreen and clicked off. "so yeah there's the proof that haechan threatened me," he giggled, pressing his home button to get off the messages, screen still facing the camera for a second. it was just long enough that people were able to see what it was. he squinted at the comments, tilting his head, "what do you guys-- oh." he backed up slightly in shock, eyes widening at the camera before hurriedly turning off the vlive. he stared down at the floor silently before looking up at the manager behind the camera, "oops."

Renjun. so technically it wasn't his fault! literally no one told yall they would be going on vlive and so ... the boys were in their dressing room and unluckily yall happened to be right in the corner of the camera frame ... you reached up to give renjun a kiss on the cheek, and the camera managed to catch that and renjun's face but not your face!! yeah no one knew until the comments started exploding about the unknown person giving renjun a kiss and the boys knew it could only be you. and as always, screamed loudly to get your attention before turning off the live. you and renjun about almost killed them for not telling you or being more careful.

Jeno. okay so you were on your way to sm company to give him his lunch bc he was practicing alone. you texted him that you were there and were on your way up but literally before you could even get in the building, he was already opening the doors and meeting you halfway. “i told you—“ he ignored your words, pulling you in by your jacket to press a kiss on your lips. as always, there are literally fans or outsiders outside of sm’s building at all times. and of course they took pictures and videos and uploaded it to sns immediately. it wasn’t until you pulled away that he realized what he did. “oh.” “yeah, oh,” you mocked, pushing him into the building as you glared at him. “congratulations, our relationship is now public.” “sorry,” but he didn’t seem sorry at all, if the grin on his face was saying anything.

Haechan. haechan … is a very obvious person. he would only compliment you when your group was miraculously brought up(probably also by him) and only sing/rap your parts of your songs. it didn’t help the fact that fans were already suspicious because you two were seen at the same place at different times and you frequently stole some of his clothes and wore it out. BUT! it’s only when he reads a comment about you outloud(“y/n from y/g complimented your vocals!!”) and he says, “yeah, y/n is a very nice partn—“ and cuts himself off before he can finish the word, eyes wide as he stares at the camera. “they’re a very nice, nice— um, idol. i’ve got to go practice, bye!” but like i said, he’s very obvious and fans heard him say the romantic word~~ oops.

Jaemin. it’s no secret that jaemin is a huge fan of having matching couple items, like with his members and especially you— since you’re, you know, a couple and all. his personal favorite was your custom made matching necklaces, so you wore it everywhere. unfortunately, seeing as the owner had no idea of anything concerning you two, when fans asked about your necklace to buy it, he said a young man came in and had it custom ordered. fans put two and two together and … boom. rumors were made up and since it really blew up, your companies denied it despite the rumors being true. even if they denied it, fans were very convinced you two were dating. no more privacy for you anymore! sorry jaemin you should’ve said something or not had it custom made. 🥲

Chenle. you like to take pictures of you and daegal and post it on your private twitter account, so what? he had no problem with it, even being in a few of them since he knew only your members and a few friends were on your private twitter. so when you did that exact thing, he didn’t care and merely posed with daegal sitting on your chest. it’s minutes later when his phone starts getting multiple text messages and he checks it only to see messages about you posting a picture on twitter. “babe,” he inhaled, “did you post it on your private account?” you glance up at him in confusion, “the picture? yeah.” he closed his eyes, leaning his head back, “are you sure it wasn’t on your main account?” it dawns on you right then and there. “oh my god.” in one minute, the tweet is deleted but thousands of people have already seen it and screenshotted. the koreaboo article is up within twenty minutes. . I am so sorry 😀

Jisung. ah, sweet sweet jisung. he was on vlive while you were at the corner store to get snacks for your movie night. he didn’t originally plan to go in vlive but decided to have a voice only vlive because he was bored. he thought you’d be gone for a while and would be done before you got back, so he didn’t text you about it. he was reading comments when you walked in, already talking as soon as you opened the door, “hey babe, i got that ice cream you like, the one—“ when he started coughing loudly in the middle of your sentence, you looked up and saw his eyes widening as he pointed at his phone violently. it didn’t take long for you to understand once you checked your own phone and saw that you had a notification from vlive, signaling someone went live. ‘oh my god’ you mouthed at him and he coughed again to fill the silence, eyes going back to the screen to read the comments to see if anyone heard you clearly. unfortunately … they did, and they heard the petname, too. he made up an excuse to get off quickly and groaned, putting his face in his hands. needless to say, fans reposted the clip of your voice everywhere.
