Do you think about how Tataru makes clothes for her friends while wishing fervently that they return home safe?
Do you think that her thoughts imbues their clothes with some manner of protection that clothes otherwise wouldn't have?
Do you think that Tataru, though she feels that she can do very little to help her friends as they go off into battle, has been sewing protection for her friends through her wishes for their safety? That there is a prayer in her needle and thread?
This is dedicated to the Tatarus in our lives, the ones who are always supporting us the best that they can. If you have a Tataru in your life, please do something nice for them to show your appreciation ♥

question for ka!! is this the first comic youve made or have you made others before ?
HELLO STRANGER. I'VE MADE A.. ONE AND A HALF... comic..s.
i did a short 18 page comic called 'Canorus', in black and white a few years ago for a tester
and then i did another tester, called Traipse!
it's been on hiatus for a while now and i'm not sure when it'll start up again but there's like 100 pages of pointless emotional drivel, just how i like it
and then i sometimes do silly one-off comic pages for my ARPG wolf ocs... (often including other peoples' ocs, like the larger white wolf in the first page, and the caramel wolf sitting up in the second page!)
WARNING THO, on Traipse- if you manage to seek it out, there are heavy themes of suicide, abuse and cult-ish things, THOUGH they aren't in the forefront and aren't explicitly shown. and Canorus has gore and death!
wolf comic pages are safe tho ALSKNKL. just often sad and most of my ocs deal with loss of some sort for reasons i get into on my twitter vent blog- JK ALSKNDLKDASNLKSAND i don't have a vent blog

Oh and what lurks beneath!
of course i've read both The Dog Star and pinepaw's house of horrors. i love them both dearly!! they're very good. barrenclan is like SBC's sister comic. also if you look into your local gathering scene you will find a lovely friend and boy
as for dewbelly i believe you'r thinking of catharsis by mic which i also recommend!! i found out about it a few days ago and read it all and rally enjoy it. mic's backgrounds are stunning
i havent heard of what lurks beneath, but i will check it out!

[image id: a four-page comic. it is titled "immortality” after the poem by clare harner (more popularly known as “do not stand at my grave and weep”). the first page shows paleontologists digging up fossils at a dig. it reads, “do not stand at my grave and weep. i am not there. i do not sleep.” page two features several prehistoric creatures living in the wild. not featured but notable, each have modern descendants: horses, cetaceans, horsetail plants, and crocodilians. it reads, “i am a thousand winds that blow. i am the diamond glints on snow. i am the sunlight on ripened grain. i am the gentle autumn rain.” the third page shows archaeopteryx in the treetops and the skies, then a modern museum-goer reading the placard on a fossil display. it reads, “when you awaken in the morning’s hush, i am the swift uplifting rush, of quiet birds in circled flight. i am the soft stars that shine at night. do not stand at my grave and cry.” the fourth page shows a chicken in a field. it reads, “i am not there. i did not die” / end id]
a comic i made in about 15 hours for my school’s comic anthology. the theme was “evolution”

The comic: Meandering, by paintedpaw on Instagram is pretty cool. A big part of it is the main character, riverfang, learning to better himself after he is exiled from his clan.
Here’s a link to the first page: https://www.instagram.com/p/CK4p9vGJ3WR/?igshid=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==
