Finally finished washing, mending, ironing and polishing my thrift store finds, so please behold my first ever cosplay 😁

I got two pairs of shoes, one men's pair which is more worn but fits the cosplay better, and a unisex one that I just absolutely adore for everyday wear as well!

#apparently you can iron out creases from leather shoes! #had to bury some loose threads around the 'pocket' welts and buttons of the waistcoat too #otherwise the clothes are in great shape :) #and they fit like a glove :D though the coat doesn't quite agree with sliding over cotton shirts #still looking for a bowtie I'll be happy with #maddie's go tag #good omens #the shoes looked nowhere near as good when I got them (very cheap) #but that's the thing with leather: a bit of care and it's as good as new! #I'll be getting shoe blocks to keep them going for many years to come #no face cause this angle is not flattering for someone who has no chin (and unwashed hair) 😂 #cosplay #aziraphale

I MADE THE DRESS AND IT TOOK A LONG TIME!

So a while ago, I saw this post by @inkz123 and really wanted to recreate the design irl. Last night i covered myself in glitter and showed off the dress for all to see! (also voice reveal at the end, but no face reveal.) (yes i got permission from inkz to use the design before doing any of this.)

Dress stats! Time spent on the: Base Dress: about two hours in one sitting Chiffon Top: maybe four or five hours over a few days ALL THE FEATHERS: about 5 hours over two sessions Glitter: maybe ten seconds. i just used glitter spray. Time i will spend cleaning glitter out of my room: an eternity. Total estimate: about 12 hours over a few weeks Total cost: (all of these are rounding and estimations) The cotton for the base dress and the chiffon: $30 The feathers: $60 Glitter: $10 Tights: $8 (just bought them on amazon) Extras (the charms, hair clip, etc): $15 Total estimate: $125-ish

Anon Project Round 2

Some of you may remember back in winter 2017-2018, when I did this thing to spread some love through the anon ask option we've got here on tumblr. Well, I did the same thing again, back in winter 2020-2021, though instead of just one month, I did it for two months. From the 1st of December 2020, until the 31st of January 2021.

Every day, I sent the message "Hi. I love you. 🤍" to one blog each day. I wanted them to know they're loved.

Now, I know tumblr sometimes eats asks, so maybe not everyone that I planned to give love to actually got their messages, and this roundup will therefore serve as a reminder to all of you that yes, I do love you. Even now, 2.5 years later.
