Phillip thought of the circus, of himself and Phineas, as we. 

“Our gate is down. We have more protestors everyday.”

When Phineas replies, “You just need to get more people to come back”, it’s an active effort to emotionally distance himself from the circus and from Phillip, and Phillip’s response is as impassioned as he allows himself to be at that point in the film, where he’s still biting back and stifling and repressing so much of himself:

“They come to see you.” 

Because he’s desperate to get Phineas to stay. To deter him from the path of self-destruction Phineas is so determined to steer himself down. But, also because “they” obscures what Phillip, immediately utterly enraptured with Phineas and everything he represents, really meant:

“I can’t do this without you. I need you”. 

After Phineas returns and Phillip offers him everything he has left in a proposal to fix what was broken and give his newfound family a home, again, he does so on the grounds that he and Phineas become partners. Equals. We. 

And, Phineas accepts. “Building, we don’t need a building. All we need is a tent!”

He affirms that he and Phillip and all of the other beautiful people he brought together are a unit. A  team. A family. 

And, that is why Phineas leaving the circus and the family he cultivated there, leaving Phillip behind, again, no matter how good his reason for doing so, is not the happy ending it’s intended to be.  

#I know the writers needed a quick and easy resolution and Phineas choosing to retire was supposed to be the satisfying conclusion of his #character arc. #'I don't need the fame and the money and the adulation. All I need is my family'. #And that's a beautiful message #don't get me wrong #but Phillip and the Oddities are Phineas's family TOO. #Phillip became Phineas's partner because he wanted Phineas to be an active part of the circus again. #He wanted him physically there working alongside him. #And the fact that this is brushed aside #even for something as sweet as Phineas arriving just in time for Caroline's recital and profound as Phineas giving his hat to Phillip eats #at me day and night. #Phillip Carlyle #P.T. My remarks: A short and sweet introspective piece on the immediate aftermath of the beach scene.

3. Hunger by @metacrisisdoctor (E)

Author's summary: His hands are out his pockets milliseconds later. He walks over to her in three large steps and cups her face in her hands and pulls her mouth to his. It's a hard, bruising kiss. It's a kiss he's held in far too long. It's the kiss of a man who stood at the grave of the woman he loves, and has been gifted with her resurrection.

My remarks: An incredibly in character exploration of how the OTP's first time could've gone down. A shot of serotonin. They ended up together!!!

Author's summary: Not long after being left on Bad Wolf Bay, the Doctor and Rose quietly contemplate why their relationship has yet to progress.

My remarks: An endearing and filled to the brim with good ol' pining take on early days of tentoo x rose; includes a drunk!Doctor and a bar fight 👀

My remarks: An incredibly fluffy slice of life drabble featuring expectant parents tentoo and rose ❤️

Author's summary: Mia pretends to fall asleep in the car so she'll be carried inside.

My remarks: The absolute CUTEST kid fic you will read featuring the Tyler family today. Contains like, illegal levels of soft.

Author's summary: Rose gives the Doctor nothing short of a miracle; and then the universe threatens to taken them both away from him for good.

My remarks: Compelling character study of the Doctor and how vulnerable being human makes him!

Author's summary: Werewolves thrive in Pete’s World, and they’re determined to bring about the Empire of the Wolf.

My remarks: This fic is, tragically, incomplete as of now, but it's probably one of the most engaging chapter 1's i've EVER read, and i am DYING to know what the author had in store!! Featuring an extremely in character Pete's world ensemble and a very House MD-ish Doctor who's been permanently injured, and werewolves, this fic is definitely worth a click!

Author's summary: She should've known. Like, she really should have known. Maybe it was just that she'd gotten sort of complacent, sort of used to the comfortable domesticity of their new life. Maybe she was just a fool. But he made it so easy to forget. When he folded her socks and handed her plates of banana pancakes and grumbled at the remote control, how could she not? How could she be expected to remember? That the Doctor was, at his core, incredibly reckless and fundamentally stupid.

My remarks: An incredible and humourous take on the 'handcuffed together' trope!

Author's summary: Christmas dinner in the Tyler household is hectic but joyful nonetheless. Rose finds her mind wandering to the Doctor, but not the one that sits beside her.

My remarks: Short and sweet, with a perfect hint of angst concerning the time-lord Doctor.

Author's summary: "You were easily convinced, you just couldn't resist me." Rose jabbed at him with a teasing voice. Though she never really knew when he fell in love with her and neither did he. It sort of just happened. So it really wasn't a surprise when he said sincerely, "No, I really couldn't."

My remarks: Captures an incredibly tender moment of dancing in the kitchen for these two ❤️

Author's summary: Post-Journey's End, first night in a hotel in Norway fic. Rose and the Metacrisis Doctor end up sharing a hotel room, and walls come tumbling down.

My remarks: When i tell you my SOUL left my body upon seeing this notification!! Written as it is by one of the all time greats, of course this fic is incredible!

Author's summary: He's not cradling her bump tonight, nor has he pressed his lips to her tense skin to murmur words she cannot hear, only feel. He’s using one finger on her, the tip of it gently tracing patterns on the curve of her stomach. At first, she wonders if he’s spelling letters, trying out the few names they’re considering for her, but Rose quickly dismisses the idea, not recognizing any letter—nothing English. What he’s drawing isn’t random, though. There is intent in the way his fingertip slowly moves upon her.

My remarks: Intimate and tender and brilliant. Forever manifesting your return to Doctor Who😭😭😭

Kyrie?

My girl!!! My high school gay awakening and I am Not Joking when I say that. I'm gonna be shameless in this one not gonna lie I'm sorry but not sorry for whatever gets written down here.

Favorite thing: I- making me choose--- I love her your honor I've loved her since I was like fourteen that's half my life by now- Honestly though her kindness despite what she's been through is her greatest strength. Choosing to be kind like that even after having seen some of the worst things that their world has to offer is admirable.

Least favorite thing: We don't get to see her exist enough outside of Things Happening(tm) ): I want to see her be silly I want to see how she is on a normal day I want to see how she is beyond just when she's around Nero.

Favorite line: "I don't know anyone else who is as human as you are." This one knocks me tf out Every Time.

BrOTP: This one's the hardest to pick, because like we don't get enough of seeing her interact with anyone else. Beyond the obvious of picking Nico I think she could get along well with Vergil if they manage to get past the absolutely Horrible First Impression he managed to pull off in the form of Nero's arm 💀

OTP: Nero <3 (or me too they both have two hands I'll carry their groceries or something please please please please please please please-)

nOTP: I literally never think about shipping Kyrie with anyone else she and Nero are a matching set Do Not Separate.

Random headcanon: Kyrie was a certified weird girl when she was little. As she grew up she grew out of it (mostly) but when she thinks no one's looking she lets herself get silly. (yeah this found its way into my dadgil series. You will see more of it later and that's a threat.)

Unpopular opinion: Kyrie can swear, she just chooses not to most of the time. It makes the times she does more impactful because when she swears it's the emotional equivalent of full-naming someone when they're in trouble.

Since we kinda know each other a lil bit I am brave enough to ask....what's the appeal of Cap/Tony to you? I know a tooooon of people ship this and I never really got the appeal (but I would love to get it this is not a AND HERE IS HOW YOU'RE WRONG question I am genuinely asking...)

Ooooooooh. I am actually thrilled about you asking me this because Cap/Tony is one of my oldest and pretty much the most beloved OTPs of all time <3

I got into Marvel during the waiting period for the 2012 Avengers movie. Cap and Tony hadn't even met onscreen yet, so what I did, like most people back during that time, was: I turned to the comics. And in the comics ... well. Their friendship has been established over decades of various comic arcs.

They're pretty much like yin and yang, opposites that complement each other, past vs. future, idealist vs. cynic, the team parents, soulmates friends that will find each other in every universe and just need to be at each others side. They banter a lot (which can sometimes come off as flirty, especially from Tony's side), they have nicknames for each other (winghead and shellhead).

Especially Tony grew up idolizing Captain America and describes finding him frozen in a block of ice as the greatest day of his life. (I think he canonically has a room full of Cap memorabilia and merch but I can't find the scans to back that up right now.) He once opened his faceplate surrounded by toxic gas to give Steve mouth to mouth/CPR, because he thought keeping Steve alive was more important than his own life (x).

Things Tony once said to or about Steve:

I'm not half as good at anything as when I'm doing it next to you.

I miss your battle cry

And then there was Civil War. It was a huge event in the comics that had an impact on pretty much everything and Steve and Tony were the heart of that dispute. See, that conflict was mostly shoehorned and silly, but it was an angsty gold mine for shippers. A lot of what happened hit so hard because Steve and Tony had such a special and deep friendship. And then, in the aftermath of Civil War, Steve gets shot and dies. Tony, feeling partly responsible for what happened, completely loses it. He's supposed to hold a speech at Steve's funeral, but he breaks down crying in front of everyone before he can finish it. In one of the spin-off comics you can see Tony sitting beside Cap's dead body, pouring his heart out. And Tony, having played the villain throughout the entire Civil War, having betrayed and lost friends because he fought for what he thought was right (something he learned from Cap!), bitterly admits: "It wasn't worth it." (This is a callback to when Steve angrily asked him "was it worth it?" - Tony didn't have an answer back then.) (x)

Fun Fact! In one of the multiverses, Civil War canonically gets resolved because Tony is a woman and marries Steve:

Movie!Cap and movie!Tony had a very different dynamic. They were more of a enemies/rivals to friends (to lovers) kind of thing - which is also fun! - but A Lot of aforementioned comic canon bled over to how I and many over fans depicted/interpreted them. And that was a lot of fun, for a while. Except over time and with every new movie that go released, it got clear that the MCU had no interest in actually making them and showing them be friends. They were begrudging co-workers at most (and not just Tony and Steve, the whole team besides Tasha and Clint were rarely shown to have meaningful interactions) and that took away a lot of the impact of Captain America: Civil War.

So yeah. It's this deep and meaningful friendship that draws me to Steve and Tony. I still ship them in the MCU, but it certainly got soured a little by what the movies did (or didn't do) with their friendship.

1: Sexuality headcanon: DemiPanromantic Asexual

2: OTP: I honestly ship him with nearly everyone lmao! But I'm especially invested in JonDami, DamiColin and TimDami these days

3: BROTP: DickDami, JonDami (I should write an analyze on why I don't want them together romantically in the continuity where Jon leaves for the 31st Century), KonDami (it's in my wip... somewhere...), DamiMaya (there's more but those are th first that I thought of).

4: NOTP: Nothing that I would not read as long as it's coherent in the fic and well written but I'm not fond of SladeDami

5: First headcanon that pops into my head: Multi Talented Artist Damian! He canonically is a theater kid and we see him draw but I have a wip where he enjoy knitting with Conner, learning sewing and embroidery. He also plays the violin in the comics so I see him as a good singer and I want him to learn how to play the drums as a way to managed his anger/frustration (see Gwen in Across the Spiderverse!)

6: Favorite line from this character: Oh, there are many!

"I can't wait to tweet about it!" / "No! I am Robin! Nh. I am the one true heir to the mantle of the Bat... I... am... alone." / "I don't want to end up like Ducard... without a moral compass... I don't want to turn into a Nobody... I want to be like you. I've always wanted to be like you.." / "We were the greatest together, Grayson!"/ "I've been taking abuse my whole life. Why stop now?" / "Father. I imagined you taller." / "We had more in common than that. We also all had ba relationships with our parents." / "After all, we both know your the last of the Graysons."

That those i remember one the top of my head or quickly looked in my art files :)

7: One way in which I relate to this character: Mmh. No comment.

8: Thing that gives me second hand embarrassment about this character: His racist writing at his first appearance.

9: Cinnamon roll or problematic fave? He is an angry indoctrinated abused kid who is no older than 14 in most comics he's in. He is objectively not a cinnamon roll but you can't call a child "problematic".

Allright my precious boy is up to bat!

a song that reminds me of them: Okay so I don't usually associate songs with specific characters, but usually ships. However, after giving the matter some thought, I came up with a couple: It's all coming back to me now by Celine Dion for when ghost/fierce corpse a-Yao returns to him. Objects in the Rear View Mirror May Appear Closer Than They Are for post-canon Lan Xichen, and I'd Lie For You And That's The Truth, also by Meat Loaf for just, like, the general vibes of him and JGY up until the last few days.

what they smell like: Something crisp yet soothing.

an otp: Xiyao always and forever

a notp: I don't really see the appeal of any ship with LXC other than XiYao. I can cope with most of them - I've even read some decent Lancest - but I have an especial dislike for xisang and xicheng, and I am not a big fan of 3zun because, idk, the vibes don't work for me? I don't know, I just can never really get my teeth into 3Zun, I find it kind of off-putting.

favorite platonic/familial relationships: Ugh big brother LXC is so chef kiss. The way he gently ribs his stuffy baby brother and just wants him to be happy always and forever aaaargh it makes me go feral. I have been known to read fics explicitly tagged Not JGY-Friendly because I was informed they have excellent Lan brothers content, and since JGY is my poorest little meow meow, that's a big deal.

a headcanon that is popular in the fandom but that i disagree with: Himbo Lan Xichen. Like, come on, he's a sect leader, he is apparently the only person in the entire gorram Sunshot Campaign that realised that they needed a fucking spy , and he's the greatest cultivator of his generation. Come on people. You can be intelligent without being an asshole, you know. Just because he's nice and he drank his Respect Meng Yao juice every day doesn't make him a himbo (╯‵□′)╯︵┻━┻

the position they sleep in: He goes to sleep on his back in proper Lan posture, but he wakes up cuddling his blankets and/or sprawling so as to occupy maximum real estate.

a crossover au i’d love to see them in :SVSSS would be great, because he could use a magic mushroom to make A-Yao a non-dead body, but idk I kind of want him to cross over into like, the most mundane cozy romance you've ever seen in your life? Like, I would like to read a story where literally nothing bad happens ever at all. I want a story where LXC falls in love with this beautiful boy, and the beautiful boy falls in love right back, and it should have an epilogue where they have the world's biggest golden retriever and six cats and a little house in the woods or something.

my favorite outfit they’ve ever worn: That one he stole from LWR for his little Teacher/Student roleplay session with JGY is great, but honestly he always looks fantastic.

Valentine's Day - Romance Media Edition

I am not a sucker for romance, but @her-enlightened-ladyship​ has tagged me in this meme so I must abide. So here are some romance adjacent medias that I can remember enjoying to some degree.

Movies:

Amadeus - Not a romance movie but its a good movie you should all watch.

The Princess Bride - I have only ever watched it at work with no sound or subtitles on, but I do like Andre the Giant, amazing, just an absolute unit

The Room - Peak romance.

TV Shows:

The Bachelor, 90 Day Fiance, Married at First Sight, Love Island - Just absolute trash tv.

Anime:

Neon Genesis Evangelion - Gendo Ikari going cuckoo bananas over his dead wife is peak romance.

Neon Genesis Evangelion - Pegasus, also cuckoo bananas over his dead wife.

Video Games:

Soul Sacrifice - Magusar x Librom. The greatest love story, there is nothing more romantic than risking your life to save your surly best friend, then being forced to fight him to the death, reviving him and killing him forever until your very genetic makeup just deteriorates. Its canon shut up.

Final Fantasy XIV - Hildibrand is the most romantic gentleman.

Castlevania - Dracula is hot in this one. And cuckoo bananas over his dead wife.

Dynasty Warriors - There’s a lot of good ships here and some of them are canon, like Lu Bu x Diao Chan. Romance is in the title of the source material so it counts.

Books:

The Vampire Chronicles - Marius x Armand is my problematic otp.

Dracula - Dracula is hot in this one. But I think Mina and Lucy should have had a thing, that would have improved it.

Vampire Hunter D - D is the only gary stu who wears it good. It was just such a smile.

Carmilla - I just think I like vampires.

Manga/Comics:

Victorian Romance Emma - The first legitimate romance on the list. It’s a story of a maid and her love for a very boring man in the victorian era. Beautifully drawn.

Innocent/Innocent Rouge - A very historically accurate retelling of the french revolution. Has Marie Antoinette which is an automatic draw for me. Some of the greatest art in the world. Excellent romance within.

The Rose of Versailles - Innocent but a shoujo drawn in the 70s. Also excellent romances within.

Berserk - A romantic tale of a guy who has a very big sword and bad things happen to him.

#DRCL Midnight Children - Dracula but by the guy who drew Innocent. Dracula is Michael Jackson for some reason but it’s a really good telling.

otp asks who would live for the other?

This is an interesting question. It's easier to think of who would die for the other, or who would give their life for the other.

I believe that Remus has a hard time living day to day, especially after everything that happened in the first war. It's honestly remarkable that he survived that long - I wonder how he coped in the years after his friends' deaths. I think he lived out of sheer willpower alone, maybe hoping things would get better.

I think that once Tonks is in his life, Remus finds a renewed sense of will and purpose. It's tied up with the Order, Harry, and fighting Voldemort again. I think it was easier for Remus to imagine himself dying for Tonks, rather than living for her. It's harder to live for her, at least before they're together, because he's afraid she'll fall in love with someone else. When they are together, it becomes easier for him to live for her because their lives are intertwined - and she's carrying their child. He eschews all other Order missions when he returns to Tonks. He lives for his family, his greatest happiness.

Tonks doesn't really live for Remus. She lives for herself. Unlike Remus, who gets purpose from sources around him, Tonks gets purpose from herself and her goals. I think that even if Remus had left her permanently, Tonks would've picked herself up somehow, had Teddy, and been a single mother. But Tonks has a healthier emotional life than Remus, and she has plenty of reason to live, whereas Remus really needs something to keep him going.

I really wonder what it is that kept him going in all those dark years. If I were to write about it, my first instinct is to have him drown himself in work, a wolf pack, and/or alcohol - keeping his mind so busy that he can't dwell on his profound grief.

U - 5 favorite characters from 5 different fandoms

Persona 5: Goro Akechi. My poor little meow meow. His duality fascinates me: who he presents himself to be vs. who he really is, who he wanted to be as a child vs. who he has become now. His slow realization that he’s merely the puppet of more powerful forces in the game (Shido, Yaldabaoth (though he doesn’t quite know this), and Maruki) is heartbreaking, as are the choices that he makes to break free from that control.  

Yuri on Ice: Yuuri Katsuki. He is so important to me. He’s so wrapped up in his head, striving for acknowledgement, for success, for Victor, that he doesn’t see his own talent or how bright of a light that he is. His blossoming over the course of the show is lovely. I desperately wish for a season two of the show (or the long delayed movie) because I want to see more of Yuuri’s journey to discover life and love.

Bungou Stray Dogs: Nakahara Chuuya. I am in aesthetic lust with his design. There’s just something about it that calls to me. The red hair, the jaunty hat, the even jauntier grin, the choker and the coat. He’s a pintsized powerhouse and so achingly human (despite his less than human origins). His dynamic with Dazai is fascinating, and I wish we got to see more of him in the anime & manga.

Final Fantasy XV: Prompto Argentum. See above re: Nakahara Chuuya being so achingly human despite his origins. See above re: Yuuri Katsuki and his anxiety and lack of belief in himself. See above re: Goro Akechi and the power of Robbie Daymond as a voice actor. He’s an anxious ball of sunshine just trying to keep up with royalty, and I love how he helps Noctis to feel human, despite the literal weight of the world on his shoulders.

Game of Thrones: Sansa Stark. Sansa for queen. I found her story the most compelling in the show (it’s been too long since I’ve read the books for me to comment on them). She has such a hard, relentless reality check. The little songbird is nearly crushed by the cruelty of the world, but she finds a way to survive in the figurative lion’s den, without any physical or mystical prowess. She should have been Queen of all Westeros at the end, not just Queen of the North.

V - 3 OTPs from 3 different fandoms

Persona 5: Goro Akechi x Akira Kurusu (Ren Amamiya). Because, to paraphrase Hegel, advancement cannot occur without both thesis and antithesis. Because they are two sides of the same coin. Because in other circumstances they could have been great rivals, maybe even friends. Because Akira is the one person that Goro refuses to lose to. Because Akira held on to the glove. Because Goro being alive & his real, angry, jaded self is Akira’s greatest wish.

Avatar: Katara x Zuko. Because one rises with the moon and the other rises with the sun. Because Katara offered to heal his scar. Because Zuko went with her to find her mother’s killer. Because Katara went with him to confront his sister. Because Zuko threw himself in front of lightning to protect Katara.

 Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Buffy and Spike. Because they are my first online OTP. Because Spike would rather be fighting her (and because the feeling is mutual). Ship It

1. What made you ship it?

Ah this story again. I will never get tired of telling it.

*Sits back in my rocking chair like an old man and takes a drag of my pipe*

It was March 12th 2018 (yes I went and checked the day the video was posted) I remember like it was yesterday. At the time I didn't realize how life altering that episode of Kyo's Dreamtalia lp would be. The day the Hand Holding Buddies began. Now...At this point I was a try and true Ger//Ita shipper, but the Hand Holding Buddies...Oh the Hand Holding Buddies gave me such a laugh. I actually started looking forward to the Dreamtalia lps because I needed to see what would happen next for the Hand Holding Buddies. Kyo and Lubo's adlibs are always a joy, but this had to be their greatest adlib of all time.

It was enemies to lovers, it was dramatic, it was finding love amongst a hopeless situation, it was two awkward dudes finding comfort in each other and that was beautiful. The Velveteen Rabbit scene still gets me every fucking time.

Now for how it became my OTP. I know that's not part of the question, but once I've started I can't stop.

So a few months go by. GerEng is great and all but I don't see much of the appeal outside of Dreamtalia. And then... And then it released. September 10th 2019. Erroneous Epilogue. The GerEng game based on the adlib and bad end of Dreamtalia. Arthur goes in to save Ludwig and they kiss. This was the turning point and I searched out content.

Shortly after I finished reading Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell and got inspired to write fanfiction. With GerEng still fresh in my mind from Erroneous Epilogue and a major lacking of GerEng content, I began writing fics and here I am...utterly obsessed.

2. What are your favorite things about the ship?

God... God where do I begin? How could I narrow it down.. Okay we'll keep this to top 3.

1. They are both so awkward and socially inept. But they find comfort in each other 🥺

2. They're each other's rock following the world wars. Ludwig had nobody after that so Arthur became his support. And when Arthur started to spiral once everything calmed down with both Ludwig and the aftermath of the war, Ludwig was there for him as well.

3. They have a lot in common, but are different enough to balance out most of each others short comings

3. Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship?

We're a small ship here and everything that I've seen as wildly agreed upon I agree with. So I don't think I have one.

random thoughts about run on, episode seven

(please do note that this post contains spoilers so read at your own risk.)

one thing’s for sure in this episode: the scenery is beautiful, especially bang bae jeong’s house

talking about bang bae jeong, i’m so happy they showed more of her throughout the years. it was interesting to see how she influenced ki seon gyeom. 

the greatest example is a flashback of bae jeong beating up a colleague (seon gyeom’s coach) because he kept making advances at her. she wasn’t afraid of using violence to protect herself, even if that meant no longer being a coach

like mi joo pointed out, she didn’t quit on her own accord, she was forced out (because of the incident mentioned in previous point) so maybe she’ll come back to teach the kids? i don’t know but i’m curious to see how this will evolve in the future

guys. my otp is yeong hwa x seon gyeom 💗 they’re so cute and funny together. i’m glad they’re getting scenes together

“you sweet man. now i want to take advantage of you.” yeong hwa is an idiot, but he’s my idiot

park may is also one of my favorite characters. she’s the best middleman/hypewoman (don’t ask me what i meant by that, i understand myself and that’s what matters the most lol)

i really like that we get to see a lot of seon gyeom’s family in this show because we can understand as time goes by how complicated it is to grow up in such an environment. you see ki jeong do (father) using his wife and daughter’s achievements for his own fame & reputation. but with seon gyeom, nothing... radio silence. that’s why he resents his son even more. because he can’t create the perfect father & son picture with him

going back to the beginning of the episode when mi joo called seon gyeom a baby, and talking to bang bae jeong about how naive he is. and then, mi joo compares seon gyeom to translating (which earns bonus points from me because i like a show that puts translation at its core). he is harder to understand than a 2 hour foreign movie. and that says a lot about their relationship. mi joo is trying her hardest to understand such an odd character (aka seon gyeom) but sometimes, no matter how much effort she puts in, it’s almost impossible to understand him. giving the scenarist (is that what they’re called?) lots of 💓 for that

this post is a mess i’m sorry for whoever might read this 💔

some of my favorite scenes are the ones between seon gyeom and his father. now that he (seon gyeom) has finally made the decision on his own, you can see how he has evolved because now he’s honest with his father. he tells him the truth straight to his face.

“the problem is you” (seon gyeom to his father) / “it’s my life father” / “do you think this entire family is some kind of tool you can use to your own advantage?” / “stop using me as the means to fulfill your dream” some statements that can only be the truth

seon gyeom running then adjusting his pace so he can walk in rhythm with mi joo 💖

seon gyeom coaching the kids was so cute. you can see he’s still fairly new to it and is a little bit “nervous” (i want to use another word but can’t find it) and then you see bang bae jeong coming in and saving the day :)

that shot of dan ah and yeong hwa being still while everything around them moves quickly was beautiful 💕

yook ji woo’s face when she sees her husband coming out of nowhere was hilarious 🤣🤣🤣 i feel you madam

mi joo standing up to ki jeong do and choosing to take seon gyeom with her was such a cool moment. i want more of it!

A young man with jet-black hair and a “don’t talk to me” glare trudges into the Howling Commandoes Cafe with all the energy of a seventeen-year-old dog.

Steve Rogers smiles at him anyway, because that’s just what you do. “What can I get for you today?” He says, fingers hovering over the register.

“Uh, coffee. Lots of shots, lots of cream, lots of sugar,” the man says, eyes on the counter.

Steve nods, writing the order on a cup. “Name?”

“Tony,” he says, taking a credit card out of his pocket and handing it to Steve.

Swiping the card, Steve smiles at Tony again before handing him back his card. “Alright Tony, that’ll be out shortly.”

Tony finally looks up at Steve. His eyes widen for a split second and he inhales, sharp but quiet as his back straightens and he smiles flirtatiously at Steve. “Thanks, hot stuff.”

Steve thinks he might have whiplash from how quickly Tony changed his demeanor. He prays he isn’t blushing, but the heat in his cheeks is telltale. “No, uh, no problem.”

Tony sends one more glance Steve’s way before going to wait by the drink counter. Steve hurries to make his coffee, as he’s the only one working today. If Bucky could cover his own shifts rather than running off with Natasha, Steve’s life would be a whole lot easier. The next time Bucky starts a sentence with “Okay, so I know I said last time was the last time, but I need you to-” Steve might say no. Then again, he can never say no to Bucky.

“Here you go,” Steve says as he hands Tony his coffee. Tony’s fingers brush his as he takes the drink, his touch feeling like an electric shock. Steve stuffs his hand in his pocket.

Tony takes a sip, then closes his eyes and hums. “Miracle juice,” he mutters.

Steve tries to suppress a chuckle, but he isn’t as successful as he might have hoped.

Tony winks at him, walks to the door, and sends one last look at Steve before exiting the coffee shop.

My whole fangirl life all I’ve wanted is my ship to be canon, and for them to have a make out/sex scene. Don’t judge me, you dorks feel the same way. That’s never happened with one of my ships before.

Now it seems like that’s actually probably going to happen with Mulder and Scully. A ‘love scene.’  And I’m so fucking happy I could cry.
