⤥author's note: what's a better way to resume writing than doing it with some minghao angsty fluff!!!! I wrote this piece for wattpad almost two years back but it never saw the light of day😮‍💨. This concept is a first for me so tell me if y'all liked this and want other parts 🫐

[Y/n POV]

Colour? Is it really necessary to have colours in our life? Ain't a monochromatic life more soothing to our eyes and our soul?

I kept asking this question to myself everyday but never found the answer. Everyday I see people walking down the streets, in beautiful clothes painting the world with their own colours. But my world? My world embodies different shades of grey. My friends and family see me as a dull person who just wears either dull or black clothes and looks like as if a dementor sucked out my soul.

How do colours really feel like? Will it fill up my empty dark world with bright sunshine? Will it make me walk a bed of roses instead of thorns? With all these thoughts in my mind, I decided to finally pull myself out from the void and let colours touch myself.

[OTP]

" Hello this is Seoulafeel's Parlour. How may I help you today?" the voice on the phone said.

" Yeah Hello. Good morning. I wanted to make an appointment for hair colour. Can you tell me if a slot is available today and the estimated cost of the service? It will be really helpful if less people are there during my time" Iris spoke hesitatingly.

" Sure ma'am. You can book an appointment at 3 in the noon. We will have few customers then and you'll feel comfortable. Also the cost for the colour will vary from 20,000 KRW to 50,000 KRW depending on the type of colour you choose" the person from the other side informed.

" Okay I'll be there by 2:50! Thanks a lot for considering my request. Have a good day" with this she ended the call.

Am I really ready for this? Am I ready to come out of the closet I've been in all these years? But I need to take the risk! I need to know what happens if I live like others do. Let's do it Kim Y/n let's do this!

*Time skip*

It's 14:45 and here I'm, standing in front of a glass door adorned by beautiful white flowers. The board above the gate says "Seoulafeel's Parlour. We make you feel your soul". I guess it's really time for me to listen to my inner voice. After convincing myself for about 7 mins, I finally pushed open and door and stepped in. I had no idea that that one step will change my entire life.

As I bring myself to the receptionist's desk they ask me my name and my appointment time and then escort me to the hair colour station. Being the socially awkward person I'm, I didn't look around and just plopped onto the chair. The hair stylist ties the cape around my neck and tells me to wait for a few mins. As I was waiting while playing with my fingers, I suddenly heard a deep voice; a voice which sent shivers down my spine, one which held a book of mysteries within itself.

"So what colour are you planning on doing Ms?" the voice asked.

I slowly turned my head sideways to see a tall figure sitting on the chair beside me. Only his pants and the sleeves of his jacket were visible below the cape. To my surprise they were all black, just like me, just like my world. His hair was covered his eyes and but I still could feel his side stare, piercing holes into my soul. I was lost in him when I heard the same voice again,

"It's disrespectful to stare at a stranger like that Ms. But I'm a gentleman so I won't mind"

I could clearly feel his smirk even though he was wearing a mask.

I finally mustered up the courage to speak to him.

" I haven't really decided the colour yet. I may go for blue. The colour blue attracts me a lot just like the endless seas."

"Well blue is indeed a fascinating colour. It makes the soul wander free and dream beyond boundaries"

I was shocked. I always used to think that I was the one who always found deeper meanings in everything. But him talking like that make me rethink.

" What colour are you going for then?" I asked.

"Red. Just like the Earth's burning core. Just like how hell is defined in books. But also the colour that made the poets define love with it" the man replied.

I just hummed in response.

"You know right that red and blue makes purple? The colour of finding yourself and finding the one who makes you fins your self"

Thallen brainrot? Happy to help! I used both dialogue bits for this 🥰 (and it got long, so…under the cut):

It had all happened so fast...Barry, grappling with Thawne, a gunshot, Iris's anguished scream...

"Eddie!" His grip loosened on Thawne as he turned, horrified because that was...

That was blood.

"Barry? Barry!"

No, no, not like this! There was so much he hadn't yet said, so much he wanted to say—

"Barry, open your eyes!"

He'd never gotten to tell Eddie how much...

How much he...

"It's okay, Barry."

No, it's not okay, how can anything ever be—?

"Barry." And then he finally placed the voice. "Barry, it's okay. I'm right here. I'm fine."

And then...then Barry realized his eyes were closed, and he opened them.

And there was Eddie, sitting next to him with a sad smile. "Hey, Flash. You scared us all for a minute there."

Eddie was...he was...but how...? "Eddie, how are you—?"

"Something weird happened," Eddie admitted. "The bullet ripped through me, but then..." he pulled his shirt aside—his clean shirt—to reveal...a healing bullet wound?

"Eddie," Barry breathed, "that's...that's incredible."

Eddie nodded, smile dimming a bit at that. "It's...I guess that makes me a meta too, huh?"

"I guess so," Barry agreed. "That's...is that bad?"

"No!" Eddie said quickly. "No, I just mean...I feel even worse now. About...everything. How I talked about the Flash, most of all.”

"Don't." Feeling brave, Barry reached out and squeezed Eddie's hand. "Water under the bridge. I promise."

Eddie smiled wryly. "You're very forgiving, Barry Allen."

"This coming from you? Nah, you have me beat. You forgave me for...well, that time I went off the rails." It scared him to remember how, how close he'd come to...

To killing him. All for what? Iris was never going to love him any more if he’d killed Eddie.

"Well, so did I," Eddie reminded him, "and you helped me out. Not to mention...I spent months before that hating you. We're even now."

"Eddie—"

"We're even," Eddie said firmly.

"Except we're not," Barry argued, "because Eddie...you jumped in front of a bullet!"

“Technically I shot the bullet.”

"That's not funny."

"No," Eddie agreed, sobering, "sorry. I just mean...I'm fine. You can see I'm fine. And I'd do it again. To save your life? Come on, Bar. That's a no-brainer."

Barry blushed at that. "Even after everything?"

"Especially because of everything," Eddie retorted, smiling. "Now come on. Wells—or Thawne, I guess—is locked up, and everyone's waiting in the Cortex. I figured you'd want a minute alone to..."

"Yeah," Barry agreed, smiling as Eddie helped him up. "Thanks. And...Eddie?"

"Yeah?"

"Thanks for…everything really, but...if you ever do that again—"

Eddie laughed. "I won't, scout's honor."

“Eddie, seriously. While I appreciate that you did it for me...I don't appreciate the fact that you nearly died because of it."

Eddie's smile faded as he looked Barry in the eye, and he nodded seriously. "Okay. I guess we'll just have to figure these powers out, then, huh?"

"I guess we will," Barry said, smiling. "You, me, Iris...and the whole rest of the Team too."

"Sounds like a solid plan to me."

Yeah. Barry smiled. It does.

Renegade in Reverie Introduction

For my 6th year anniversary for playing MMR/NH, and my 5th tumblr anniversary for @incorrectmmr, I decided to make a separate tumblr account for my oc Iris’s story, which is titled Renegade in Reverie. I have been planning and brainstorming the plot for 5 years now, and it somehow became a complicated mess of a plot.

To this day, the plot still hasn’t been polished, nor had the first draft been written yet, but I still want to share the plot through other means like oneshots or headcanons. I may even spoil my own story if I take even longer to write (but if you follow me on instagram, you’ve already been spoiled haha).

Iris is just an ordinary girl in her ordinary world. But ordinary is pretty boring, isn’t it? It’s safe, but where’s the fun in that? On the night of a red moon, she made a wish for an exciting life, and sunk to the world of Nightmare! An ordinary girl thrown into an ordinary world full of demons and angels; is it heaven, or hell? The change in scenery is a sudden wake-up call to the incompetent, sheltered human.

The story idea should have answered a simple question: What would happen if MC signed the contract in Kaim’s route? However, over the years, it had somehow developed into a multiverse of a story, but only because I’m indecisive and like to explore the potential of possibilities.

Ricardo/Iris (RicaRis) is the most popular from what I’ve observed, probably because it’s Ricardo. But in the main story, their dynamic is mostly platonic.

I do experiment with Iris’s dynamic with other characters as well, but they’re probably not included in the story.

2. Are there any popular fandom OTPs you only BroTP?

So Many! Len and Sara, Barry and Iris, Barry and Cisco, Cisco and Caitlin, Barry and Caitlin… Those are all relationship that I just prefer without any romantic element between them (for a variety of reasons), although I like and am interested in all of these as friendships.

6. Has fandom ever made you enjoy a pairing you previously hated?

I don’t think so? If I already hate a pairing there’s basically no hope of me shipping it, lol… Fandom has made me love a lot of pairings I previously hadn’t considered though!

16. If you could change anything in the show, what would you change?

LEONARD SNART LIVES (and goes back to The Flash). That’s an easy one :D

18. Does not shipping something ‘popular’ mean you’re in denial and/or biased?

Mmh, that’s an interesting question. I think we’re all a little biased about what we like and different ships are gonna appeal to different people. I’m not sure what denial really has to do with it tbh, in my opinion it’s perfect fine to just point at a ship and say “This one does not bring joy” even if it is a popular ship or even the main ship. I don’t think it’s something you can force anyway, a lot of the time a ship just takes over your brain and that’s it you’re gone XD

Anyway, thank you, I really appreciate people sending me these asks because it forces me to get better at speaking English conversationally instead of taking days to craft an answer, haha. I could use the practice^^

I will go full shippy with this one, as it's something I still struggle with despite being full brainrot with them all 24/7. That should serve as a lesson that I need to try more different things with them 🤧

Faye and Ozzy. The og otp in which I will NEVER stop projecting tenderness. It's the clash of violent upbringing and sudden unexpected love and stability...the classic there you are, after all this time.

Iris and Declan. My own depiction of Hades/Persephone haha! Both living in different worlds and yet, they found and chose each other despite everything opposing them.

Jessamyn and Devon. Now that one is a bit special, since i was not planning to give Devon a stable partner, given how/who he is lmao. But when i decided to bring Jessamyn in cp (a long existing witch oc of mine), these two together just made sense to me. Someone as headstrong as him, to pull him out of shadows once in a while.

Take a wild guess - Ema Skye. The girl who literally inspired my career. (Worth it, by the way. Majoring in forensic science was so much fun.) I have a soft spot for people whose detective careers are inspired by saving someone or wanting to correct an injustice from their past.

6. Favourite Antagonist (in the role of the antagonist! e.g Edgeworth in AA1 counts but only in AA1.)

Okay, I really like Edgeworth in AA1. A whole lot. I love how his trauma and his strong sense of justice manifest in antagonistic qualities to Phoenix, who also has a strong sense of justice but chooses blind faith over prosecuting criminals. Edgeworth is a good person but can't do what Phoenix does. "My father was taken from me, and you want me to defend criminals? I'm sorry, Wright, but I'm not that good of a person!"

I headcanon Edgeworth as autistic. I love seeing him being so elegant and dramatic in court, easily making a fool out of Phoenix, and then seeing him outside of court for the first time and realizing he's actually socially awkward. I love that this game makes you defend him and it's like pulling teeth to get him to agree. Just. AA1 Edgeworth is incredible.

10. Favourite trial from all the games?

Case 1-4. I watch an entire playthrough of it at least once a year on Christmas as tradition. I can recite the beginning dialogue from memory. As I said previously:

I don't know if I can choose, but I really like Sebastian and Kay, Iris and Gina, and Susato and Iris (they're basically sisters). There's probably more I'm missing.

53. Your personal dumbest moment while playing?

In recent memory, I was playing the DLC case for Dual Destinies while my boyfriend was watching. There is a point about how far the victim fell. A witness claimed the victim died by being launched up into the air and then falling 30 ft into the pool full of water. The victim's autopsy report says he fell 65 ft. My logic was that he was launched up 30 ft + fell down 30 ft, and 60 ft is not 65 ft. ... My boyfriend had to remind me upward launch distance doesn't count toward falling down distance.

54. The moment you felt the smartest while playing?

There are a lot of times where I figure out the murder method pretty early on. I can't remember one in particular.

Most of them tbh. But if I had to choose one, Maya Fey. Girl has been THROUGH IT and rarely gets to be vulnerable because she's putting on a strong face for Pearl.

Currently predominantly The Flash (TV and Comics), though I have written a couple of The Adventure Zone fics, one Naddpod, and one Ghosts (BBC) this year too, and I've written one or two other things. I've been writing fic for a bit

1. Crossed Wires - The Flash (TV), Barry/Eddie (prompt fill for a Misunderstandings prompt in a Barry Week)

2. Mis-sent - The Flash (TV), Barry/Cisco (college AU texting fic)

3. "Just sleep in my damn shirt" - The Flash (TV), Barry/Eddie (a short prompt fill that does not even have a proper title)

4. Milk and Sugar - The Flash (TV), Iris/Caitlin (coffee shop AU that changed to a pre-canon canon divergence that ended up a 12 fic series)

Ashes to Ashes, it's part of the collaborative Marvellous Ladies of DC AU with @agentmarymargaretskitz where the ladies of DCTV get to be all the heroes in a MCU AU and this one is part of the Infinity War one so there is a very large amount of character death

7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

I like writing happy endings so that one's a little tricky, but I think I might nominate Stargazing (DC comics, Barry/Iris/Hal), since the start is not quite so happy

8. Do you get hate on your fic?

I have but it's a rare occurrence

9. Do you write smut?

Nope! On the sliding scale of sex favourable to sex repulsed ace I generally slide between neutral and repulsed and usually fall at forgot sex exists again until I get a question like this. I do sometimes read the smut bits instead of just skipping now, but I have to be in a very particular mood, it's not a common thing, so I don't think I'll ever get closer to writing it than implying some might be going on somewhere

10. Do you write crossovers?

I have, though not for a little while. I might still have (very brief) notes for a Legends of Tomorrow/Librarians crossover somewhere though. Maybe one day

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

I hope not

12. Have you ever had a fic translated?

I had someone ask if they could once but I don't think they ever posted it, and this was quite a while ago

13. Have you ever co-written a fic?

Yes, the previously mentioned Marvellous Ladies of DC AU.

14. What‘s your all-time favourite ship?

Barry/Iris probably? That's the one I have been writing to fill the Year of the OTP prompts, and I'm pretty sure these poly ships appear because I like ones like Barry/Cisco and Barry/Hal, but I also Barry and Iris together, so now they all get to be a part of this

15. What’s the WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

The Wally Fic, my Flash TV s2 AU where Wally becomes the Flash (because Barry did not survive his first encounter with Zoom). Perhaps one day, but it's been just sitting as part of a first draft for a long time now not getting very far. I might just cut it into scenes and post what I have when I have an end I'm happy with but I've also been saying that for a while and still not doing anything so who knows.

16. What’s your writing strengths?

I don't know if I really think about strengths, this is just for fun, but I often feel I write more dialogue than descriptions, so maybe dialogue?

I've also had a few people tell me I'm good at writing AUs which I am very flattered by and very happy they like them. I just enjoy myself messing around with how things could go if I change that bit of canon or sometimes trying to see if I can make a plot work in another genre instead, but it's very nice when people say they like my messing around and encourage me to do it more.

17. What’s your writing weaknesses?

Describing body language. Especially during conversations, like a pinched nose or stuff like that, I'm often not sure how to phrase the motion and don't know if I put enough in.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?

Mixed. On the one hand, it can throw you out if suddenly there is a large passage in another language you're meant to still be able to understand as easily as the first bit, so I think if it were a full conversation I would still write in English and use the dialogue tags to indicate it's another language.

However if the point of view character has, say, my Spanish levels where I can pick out words and get the gist of some bits but not necessarily understand everything I might write that part as Spanish with the missing words and have the translation as the point of view character trying to work out what they just said.

I have also written characters swearing in French (as a "pardon my French" joke. The opportunity for a bad joke will trump everything else always). I hated my French teacher at school and dropped it for Spanish as soon as I could and I'm really, really bad at French, but I do know Merde.

People who have managed to become fluent in multiple languages are so cool. I don't know how you all did this.

19. First fandom you wrote for?

It was a very short Sherlock/Doctor Who crossover where Sherlock and John get zapped by Weeping Angels and end up at Victorian Edinburgh University meeting someone named Arthur. I panicked about posting that so much

20. Favourite fic you’ve ever written?

This is an impossible question always, but since I haven't got a gen fic mentioned here yet I really enjoyed writing The Questing Flower (Flash TV), which is a fantasy AU centred around Iris West. A, C, and K?

A - Ships that you currently like a lot. (They don’t have to be OTPs because not everyone has OTPs.) Friendships, pairings, threesomes, etc. are allowed.

Well, Cisco/Hartley and Cisco/Harry are always ships kinda buzzing in the back of my mind for the Flash. But I'm also currently still twirling Reverb/HR around in my head because they turned out really cute. Haven't written any Caitlin/Iris recently so I'm kinda itchy to write more for them too. Or to go through the tags to just read some Snowest ship. Dunno which yet.

Also just always Iris and Barry be it platonic, queerplatonic, or romantic. They're always important to each other.

Thanks to the DW specials, Donna ~ The Doctor QPR is now forefront of my mind. Still want Donna to randomly show up in new seasons of the show and just always know who the Doctor is. Threaten to share embarrassing stories about the Time Lord with the new Companion. But also just... Shaun Temple spending time with the Doctor is something I really want. The two of them being cozy domestic and supporting Donna about something. The Doctor falling asleep on Shaun's shoulder, waking up enough to almost get up and then snuggle back down because comfy. Sylvia banning 14 from the kitchen until he gets baking lessons because he keeps mixing up common Earth ingredients with not-Earth Ingredients and maybe exploded something with flour once or twice. Rose sneaking out to Mars with her Uncle.

(Donna reconnecting with Martha and getting to know Mickey properly. Mickey absolutely making fun of the Doctor for creating split-off versions of himself twice. He's like a plant you can take cuttings from. Mickey and Shaun bonding over having amazing, wonderful, brave wives.)

C - A ship you have never liked and probably never will.

Yuri/Estelle from Tales of Vesperia. I just see their relationship as being too sibling-ish to ship them. I love their platonic ship, though. They're besties for life, want to spend forever together in as non-romantic a way as possible.

Though these days I mostly just see Yuri as being gay, so I don't really vibe with Judy/Yuri either. And I see Estelle as being a lesbian, so Estelle/Flynn also makes me go O_o because I do forget other people don't headcanon them this way.

(The game is sooooo good, everyone should go play it.)

K - What character has your favorite development arc/the best development arc?

It's kinda a tie between Eleanor and Michael from The Good Place. The way they grow over time together and how much their friendship changes each other... that show was just so tightly and well written and so incredibly acted that I don't know that I'll ever get over how good it was. This was a show that maintained it's velocity consistently over the course of it's seasons. Told exactly the story it wanted to tell. And did not try to push for more than there was nor get cut off prematurely and have to rush to finish.

But Eleanor and Michael in particular just stand out to me the most in their growth over the seasons. Eleanor learning to love herself and stand up for herself and others. Micheal learning that there's more to humanity than the bad parts and more to him than the Bad Place. And so much of that growth is instigated and nurtured by each other.

(That said, Tales of Vesperia has most excellent character arcs too, everyone should play that game...)

Since the original post said any type of relationship pair, the answer is easy. Gram and Nix are my platonic friendship otp. Some iteration of their dynamic will probably show up in everything I write. Gram, the outgoing teasing prankster who aggressively cares and thinks ‘I love you’ is spelled as ‘dumbass’. Grumpy, brooding, loner Nix who is so loyal and would do anything for his friends but would rather die than tell them that.

I love them your honor.

If we are talking romantic relationships…almost none of my couples actually end up together. My favorite ships are the “what could have been” relationships. It’s hard to choose a favorite. It’s a toss-up between Nix and Kaori: toxic af friends to lovers to enemies; and Iris and Nolan: forbidden first love who eventually separate but never really get over each other.

What made you ship it? Listen, I might OTP coldflash, but I know a canon endgame when I see one. I didn't ship them in S1 because I really, really loved Iris and Eddie. But my first really aww moment was when she found out that pretty much everyone knew how Barry felt about her except for her, and the look on her face when she turned to Joe and was like "Why didn't you tell me?"

Mmm, good stuff.

What are your favorite things about the ship? My favorite things about this ship are the complete and utter trust they have for each other, and the way Iris indulges Barry. They take care of each other.

Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship? I don't think so? Most of my issues don't involve westallen, but more how they're being dressed like they're they're eighty years old now.

What made you ship it? Okay, so like. Legit? I was minding my own business, and then Leonard and Barry grinned at each other and Leonard had to derail a train because he was having too much fun. I managed to avoid writing fic until Family of Rogues happened, and that was it. Seven years later, and I'm still here.

What are your favorite things about the ship? What don't I love about them? I love that they're narratively such good foils for each other? If Barry had a little less faith in people, he could have gone the way Leonard did, and vice versa, I think. I love that Leonard can give Barry a place to inhabit his worser impulses, just like Barry can lift Leonard through his sheer sincerity. They make a good team on the field, and Wentworth and Grant just have like. Ridiculous amounts of chemistry. I could go on forever. The way Len knows immediately when The Flash enters the room? The way Barry goes to Len when he needs help even when Len has proven untrustworthy? Barry plucking Len from time because he needed a master thief? I MEAN. Barry Allen, you REALLY didn't have to go to 1892 Siberia to swipe him, IJS.

Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship? Not that I can think of. The closest I can come up with is interracial Jewish Len? But I think most of the fandom is cool with that.

3. Eobarry

I ship it! But only in the most screwed up of ways.

What made you ship it? Dude, Eobard is fucking obsessed, okay? Barry, definitely not in love. But Eobard is basically like I want to be you, but I will settle for killing and/or fucking you. He's got it baaaad.

What are your favorite things about the ship? Although it doesn't seem like it if you go through the answers I've given to this ask meme, the pairings that generally tend to stick with me are the ones who are kinda codependent in a lot of ways. And I really love how Eobard went from wanting to kill Barry to genuinely caring about him, in his own messed up way.

Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship? Eobard would be on the noncon train so fast your head would spin. ^^;

4. Last but not least, Harrisco! I generally don't have any particular thoughts on these two, but on closer consideration, I will say that I ship it. Specifically Cisco and Earth 2!Harry.

What made you ship it? I love it when a pairing can laugh together, so the way they teased each other and joked with each other? AND were incredibly super intelligent together? Lovely.

What are your favorite things about the ship? The thing that I love best about these two is that they have a warmth between them. I don't know if it's just chemistry between the actors or what, but by the end of Harry's tenure, it was obvious that there was a genune depth of affection between them.

Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship? I don't think so? What would even consititute an unpopular opinion for them?

hey! just stopping by to say that i was reading again the things you wrote about the flash and iris and westallen when the show was airing, and i always loved how you were able to put into words why you loved iris and wa so much. i know the show left a sour taste by the time it ended, but would you ever consider rewatching one day and revisiting what you loved?

Aw, thank you for stopping by, nonnie! I really appreciate your kind words, and I am so glad that you enjoyed what I've written over the years about Iris and Westallen! It means so much to me to hear that, always.

As for rewatching the show: maybe one day I'll rewatch, but I doubt it will be anytime soon. I have always been curious whether my feelings about the show would change overall if I binged watched it, instead of watching it week to week and with all the mid-season hiatuses in between. I do think the experience would have been somewhat different. But really, my main reason to rewatch would be to get to see Iris's journey again and to watch Westallen's love story unfold again. At the end of the day, Iris will always be my favorite character, and Westallen my all-time favorite OTP.

Well I’m not a big shipper naturally tbh, unless I see undeniable chemistry and/or suggestive scenes between characters, I’m probably just going to ship what was canon— that was until I fully entered tumblr and related fandom spaces. Now I see ships everywhere. Especially with Ao3.

Ao3 has made me ship soooo many ships, the OG being Superarrow/Kariver

More recently tho: Coldflash (my current OTP), Snowest, Hartmon, and I personally prefer them as platonic but I definitely support them as a ship— Barrisco

Also as much as I hate to admit it— I understand Eobarry and why people ship it (One sidedly it’s basically canon) but I still do not like it and definitely don’t ship it. (Ok but how tf could it ever be two sided guys— it’s also creepy af) nvm I’m not jumping into that rabbit hole today.

1: More merchandise. I finally have a STAR labs sweatshirt and it is one of my most treasured possessions— but I wish there was more options, I wish we could get Ciscos vibe glasses or smth like that (I know we can on ebay and stuff, but it’d be nice if the CW or WB put in merch effort) Ah. The pain of smaller fandoms (and I say this in relation to my other big fandoms being Star Wars and the MCU)

2: Less discourse/hate. I’ve calibrated my space here on tumblr to be on the positive side of the fandom but I remember when I couldn’t look at comment sections without seeing at least 10 hate comments (from other fans may I add). Idk maybe it’s not as bad now. I also notice this was primarily around the topic of shipping; specifically around Westallen vs Snowbarry, I saw some pretty bad stuff on both sides. Personally I just believe in ship and let ship. If you don’t like a ship then that’s fine; but don’t attack the people who do. But like I said; maybe it’s not as bad now. (Sry that was a long one lol)

3: M o r e w h u m p— including taking place in later seasons; 9x4 has so much potential and I really want someone to take advantage of it (I say, knowing full well that I could write it— I can’t though; The Bad Ending is taking up all of my writing time/energy)

Now as a fanfiction writer, I have to have headcanons; it’s how I make the story and characters work while giving them extra depth. Naturally however; it’s not something I would usually think of outside of that. I have created the most fanfictions for this fandom by far (It was also the first media I ever wrote it for) so naturally I indeed have headcanons that will make their way into my fics.

Oliver trained Team Flash in hand to hand combat Now this one is less of a headcanon and more something I wish happened— cause where tf did they get their training from?? Maybe I’m missing/forgetting something and if so sry my bad— but this seems like something that absolutely could’ve happened. (I’m not counting superhero fight club as canon btw; as fun as it is)

Everyone goes to therapy

Gods this one is more wishful thinking than anything else— I’ll never forgive the CW for having Barry and Iris take couples therapy when what they both need is therapy therapy. The number of life threatening scenarios the entirety of Team Flash has gone through is more than enough to warrant therapy (and some form of PTSD but that’s a whole nother topic). The only possible exception I would make is Barry, because it would not surprise me at all if Joe had him go as a kid and the therapist didn’t believe him about the man in yellow just like everyone else; plenty of people have bad experiences with therapy that make them not want to go and that’s completely understandable.

Team Flash has movie night

You can’t look me in the eye and tell me they don’t.

Barry has claustrophobia

Nothing to support this really, but hey— that’s why it’s a headcanon
