I think as bad as Ed wants to marry Stede, he’d never be the one to ask. Stede would have to be the one to propose. Stede’s already done the marriage thing and Ed doesn’t know if Stede would even want that again, so he just sits on it. He wants to marry him so bad it makes him crazy but he can’t bring himself to ask. And I think if Ed ever did ask it would probably be a subconscious thing. Like not even realizing what he’s said until he’s confronted with Stede’s reaction.

Husband reveals but in the most normal way ever: Mav forgets his lunch home twice, and Tom drops by because he can't have a starving husband, even less for such an important mission. The first time he's wearing civvies and the daggers are far away to not notice him at all, the second one Ice is still in full uniform when he strolls in the cafeteria, drops Mav's lunch on the table, kisses his lips and "I'm not your errand boy, next time you forgot your lunch it's on you" to which Mav smiles dopey "whatever you say, Iceman. Eat with me?". How could Tom say no?
All around them, nobody moves because the Commander of the fucking Pacific Fleet is sharing a sandwich with their captain. And they kissed.

More than once, when Bradley comes back from school, and later from the Academy and from deployment, to find his dads still wearing their uniform, cuddling on the couch, more asleep than awake. Most of the times dad is cuddling against the pops' side and pops arms around dad, but one, spectacular weirdo time (and he has the photos to prove that) pops was half lying on dad and half of his body was on precarious balance and a moment away from falling down, while dad was occupying half of the couch, a satisfied smile on his face and one hand between pops' hair.
