having movie nights that start happening more frequently the more they bond

^ maybe one will purposefully choose a scary movie so that they have an excuse to cling to the other all night

falling asleep on the couch together (and being very flustered at their positions in the morning)

cooking for one another

maybe one learns to cook the other's favorite meal as a treat, the gesture absolutely melting their heart

"hey, can i borrow your hoodie real quick? i'm just heading down to the store and mine isn't really dry yet..."

^ and then they realize that their roommate looks downright adorable in their clothes

they also don't get the hoodie back (and that's completely fine)

as they get more comfortable living together, they start knowing exactly where eachother's belongings are

trying not to get too worried when one comes home too late at night

and when they angrily express this to their roommate, all the other can think of is "why do you care this much?"

trying to hide a blush in the mornings because their morning/sleepy voice is a little too nice to listen to

sharing a bed.

^ then making up more excuses to share a bed after that night just to wake up next to their roommate in the mornings.

heyyy! I really love your prompts and one-liners. I was wondering if you can do College Enemies to Lovers prompts and one-liners, you know where B transfers to the college A is in; Kinda like After but different where A and B have to share dorms. It's totally fine if you don't want to do them. Have a wonderful day/night. <3

It’s been a while since I’ve done any enemies to lovers and this is just the ask I need to get back into it. (In some prompts they share a room, in some they share an apartment / house.)

Enemies to Lovers College Roommates Prompts

Prompts

A insists on dividing their room in half exactly, so B makes sure to “accidentally” leave their things on A’s side.

A and B fight over who gets the bigger room. A managed to snag it first but when they go home for a weekend, B swaps the rooms around. Let the room war begin.

A keeps sending away B’s dates when they show up at the door, totally not out of jealousy.

A hasn’t been on dates in a while and B makes fun of them for it. A makes a big show of pretending to go on dates and even fakes sex noises in their room to convince B they’re getting lucky.

A’s bed breaks and the couch hurts their back, leaving them with one (reluctant) sleeping alternative: B’s bed.

A leaves sticky notes with condescending reminders on them (“Dirty dishes go into the sink, not beside it”) for B, who replies with equally petty stick notes of their own.

They decide to treat themselves to some new IKEA furniture, only to bicker and fight while building it.

A complains about B walking around with barely any clothes on, starting a game of chicken where B walks around with less and less clothes.

Though A has never asked them too, B always makes A breakfast with their own. Until one day after a particularly bad fight with A, and A can’t help but yearn for that domestic gesture.

A realises they’re in love with B and quarantines themself in their room until it wears off. B, convinced A is upset or crazy, breaks down the door and demands to know what’s going on.

Friday movie nights, and fighting for who gets to choose the movie.

Sam is proud to say he doesn’t flinch when he comes home to find the Winter Soldier on his couch.

The lights are off, the sun’s gone down, and Sam probably would’ve missed him if he hadn’t noticed his barbecue sauce missing from the top of the fridge of all things.

He should probably ask why the world’s deadliest assassin is sitting cross-legged on his couch, his hair tied back in a low bun and wearing one of Sam’s henleys and a pair of his old army sweats in a way that tells him he’s probably been staying here for a few days while Sam had been out searching the world for him with Steve. Instead he asks, “Did you use all my barbecue sauce? It’s polite to replace things you use if you’re gonna stay at someone’s house, you know?”

The Soldier looks up at him and shakes his head, wrinkles his nose, and Sam thinks maybe he should start calling him Bucky in his own head. “I put it in the fridge. It goes bad when you leave it out like that once it’s open.”

Sam blows a puff of air out of his nose, amused but not willing to laugh just yet. “Are you my roommate now? Any other habits you don’t care for?”

Bucky shakes his head again, just slightly enough for Sam to barely catch it in the dark. “You have a comfortable couch.”

Sam sighs and goes to the hall closet to get him a blanket. He wonders if being the retired fist of HYDRA makes enough to split rent 50/50.
