LMFE // is the plot for the fic done? i am guessing that eva and bruno reunite at the end but truthfully i find it hard to believe a spouse would take back a partner so easily especially that he left his own family, kids. that is painful
Well, the outline and plot are done! But we're not going to stop at the end of the movie >:)) There's so much issues we have to go through, and quite frankly, Javier and Ignacio are going to take WAAAAAY longer to accept that Bruno is back as opposed to Evalina😭 I'm not just going to slap a Disney bandaid over a very real life family issue, so it's gonna take multiple chapters to really give them the time to cope with one another. Treat this as me diving into the implications of the movie and adding more depth to it that an hour and a half long film can't cover.
Also, I'm not sure if I mentioned this, but LMFE is going to dive into post-movie lore💃 There's already some foreshadowing is some chapters, especially name drops that y'all think is insignificant😌
(//LMFE CHAPTERS 40 AND BEYOND SPOILERS)
If you might remember, Bruno has another vision on top of Mirbel and Casita's fate. It was added specifically to both act as a catalyst for Bruno to hide in the walls (since, let's be honest, he's not gonna leave his wife and kids just because Mirabel has a bad vision) and to set up the events of the post-movie lore for LMFE.
I'll give y'all a hint because I'm in the mood: there's going to be two significant family names that's going to appear on the post-movie events of LMFE >:)) One is literally a chapter title, and the other is something you have to guess yourselves😌

'I told you I could dance'
(Sketch version)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Seto Kaiba & Anzu Mazaki
(Oh yes. I love them! #SorryNotSorry)
A colored sketch I made recently. Might delete it later.
With a close-up of their faces because I kinda like how they turned out 🤭
I haven't uploaded it anywhere else so far and I don't know if I will. It was just an idea that needed to get out of my head. And since I'm no good at writing fanfiction, I went with drawing.
It has been YEARS since I drew anything. I'm out of practice and rusty, but it was so much fun!
I bought a great new convertible tablet with a stylus recently (it's meant for work, but... 🤭) and I finally tried to sketch something out digitally. I wanted to try that for so long, but when I was a student, I never had the money for good hardware. Then, after I got a job and married and had children, all of these within a pretty short time, there finally was enough money, but no time and energy! (Life being life, I guess 😅)
BUT NOW! I finally dug into it. And let me just scream this out loud:
SKETCHING DIGITALLY IS AWESOME!!!
All those tools and possibilities, without redrawing the whole shit because there was something a little bit too big or too small or too far on one side. It's great! And so much fun! I wanna do this much more! ❤️
I'm still no good with actual oulining. Is it really such a pain in the ass or is it just because I'm new to this? Outlining by hand never was such a big deal for me. Anyway, that's why I just went ahead and colored the sketch as it was. I didn't even do it properly, just went with the process and couldn't stop myself. I don't know if I can find the time and energy (!) to make this into a proper drawing one day, but it will be somewhere near the top of my priority list. 😇

Manifesting vs. Reality Shifting: an Explanation
I wanted to explain manifesting and reality shifting with an example I came up with that really helped me understand it better!
I personally believe that manifesting and reality shifting are two different things (for multiple reasons that would need their own post), but some people believe that they are the same thing. This is just my thoughts on the matter.
When you get to your seat, there is a piece of paper with an outline of a person on it. The teacher tells you that you can decorate it however you want, but you may only use the supplies at your table, and (for now) you can only decorate the outline of the person - not the rest of the paper.
Explanation
The way I started to understand how manifestation and reality shifting differ is by thinking of an art classroom. The classroom has multiple tables with chairs. Each of the tables has art supplies. You are a student in this class. The teacher tells you to sit in your assigned seat.
The outline of the person represents your physical form in this reality: it has already been printed and can not be drastically changed. You can decorate the outline, but you can not change the outline itself. This means that if you get an outline of a person who is neurodivergent, you can't change that they are neurodivergent. If you have an outline of a person who is physically disabled, you can't change that they are physically disabled.
Next, the teacher tells you that you can begin to decorate the rest of the paper. The only rule is that you can only use the supplies at your table. THE WAY YOU DECORATE THE REST OF THE PAPER IS MANIFESTATION. You can give the person on the paper things to help them - everything from sensory tools and mobility aids to friends or even a job. You can't alter the outline itself, but you can empower the outline by how you decorate it and look at it.
Also, remember that there are other people sitting at the table too. They may look at your work and say something about it that makes you feel good or bad. Maybe you drew a house on the paper and they tell you it is small. If you wanted a small house, you might see this as a good thing. If they said it in a mean way then it might change how you feel about the house. If you wanted a big house then you'll have feelings about that. Someone else might say the house is very pretty and make you feel good. Or you could love the house you drew and not care how others see it! But it is important to know that unlike the ouline, you can always go back and re-draw the house entirely or alter it.
Essentially, in manifestation, there are some things you can change and some things you can't. You can change the decorations, but not the outline. How you view things is how you can change the way you feel about them.
Alright, now how does this relate to reality shifting?
You are still at your assigned seat, decorating your outline and paper when the teacher stops the whole class. They tell you that they are switching up the way class works now. They tell you to put your outline to the side and that they are changing the way class works.
You may now choose any outline you want (that hasn't already been drawn on by someone else) and sit at any table you want. The only rules are that you must sit at a different table than before, choose a new paper (can be the same outline, but has to be on a new piece of paper), and you can only use the art supplies on the table you chose to decorate your new paper.
You must leave your old paper at your first table. You can always come back and work on it again later, but every time you go to a new table, you must choose a new paper and it must stay at that table - you can move tables, but the art supplies and papers can't.
So you go through the stack of papers and pick one, then sit at a table with all of your friends and begin decorating. If you want to do another outline then you must move to a different table. You can always go back to the first table and work on the original as well.
THIS IS REALITY SHIFTING. Each table is a different reality. The paper that stays at the table is your physicality in that reality. You, and your ability to move between the tables, is your consciousness shifting between realities.
If you read all that, thank you! I hope it helped! Don't be afraid to reach out to ask for clarification or just to talk!
You are the same person in conciousness, but you are decorating different papers and outlines with different supplies. The people at the other tables might offer a different perspective, which could make you change your thoughts or feelings about something. Based on the art supplies at the table, you might be able to decorate more or less.
Your ability to choose the outline when you go to a new table is your ability to choose your physicality in your DR. If you want to go back to your CR, then you have the outline you were given at the very start of class - the one you did not choose. Of course, there is no shame in getting a new paper with the same outline and decorating it differently at a new table! This would be the equivalent of shifting to a reality where your physicality is the same, but other things are different.
Summary
The idea of an art class can be used to explain the difference between shifting and manifesting.
The outline of the person on the paper represents your physical form - it is printed on the page and can't be changed a whole lot, but it can be decorated to look a certain way.
The rest of the paper represents the life around you. You can decorate it with the art supplies at your table and change it as you'd like. This represents manifestation.
The different tables in the classroom represent different realities. When you go to a new table you choose a new paper with an outline on it and decorate it using the supplies at that new table. This represents reality shifting.
In reality shifting, the ability to choose the outline gives you more control as compared to the first outline that you were simply given. This is why you can shift to a reality where you aren't disabled, but you cannot manifest your disabilities away.
No matter what you choose to do in reality shifting regarding being disabled or not, and neurodivergent or neurotypical, you are a valid human being!

Shaun Cassidy in a post "Hardy Boys" detective story!
These are from a "Murder, She Wrote" episode.
In it, rather than appear, Jessica Fletcher oulines her latest story to the audience and we see the story unfold on screen. (A way to give Angela Lansbury a break from shooting schedules)
It's "Murder in a Minor Key", intended as a backdoor pilot for a series about a student lawyer played by former 70's Hardy Boy...
Tumblr media
Now all grown up and still cute as a button and, after years of sporting the latests 70's designs, now wearing the very 80'siest styles!
From "Just one of the guys" sweatshirt and (very tight) jeans
Tumblr media
To "My first grown up suit"
Tumblr media
And "Yuppie-ing his little best"
Tumblr media
And this which is just... "Woof!"
Tumblr media Tumblr media
(I mean... good heavens!)
Tumblr media
(Oh and that is Rene Auberjonois also guest starring)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I'm sure he's making very clever former-Hardy Boy deductions to solve the case here, but if he looked at me like that, I'd probably confess to anything up to and including the Lindburgh kidnapping.
Oh and a couple of bonus photos with the "there to make him look brainy" specs which must have inspired a young Michael Shanks
Tumblr media
He's back to the sweatshirt and jeans but "Gosh!" he makes it work!
Tumblr media
Alas, no series followed, but maybe that;'s just as well as if he'd been making a series, young Mr Cassidy might not have been able to create and produce the likes of "American Gothic" or "Invasion"

"Can you explain what they were?" "Why, yes, Your Majesty. However, may I plead that we have this conversation later?" "Is it because of Sir Asrahan, the knight of yours?" "Yes, Your Majesty" "Is it because you are worried about him?" "I wish to move at once and help him" Lloyd said with confidence.
"Javier. Are you all right?" "Yes, Master Lloyd" Javier turned to his side. There was a smile on his face. Lloyd meant to scold him for smiling in such a grave situation. He was about to until he was forced to clamp his mouth shut. Right before the words of rebuke came out, Lloyd's eyes saw the ouline of a man whose body lay limp in Javier's hands. The outline was familiar to Lloyd's eyes as well. Could it be...? Lloyd thought it was impossible. He blinked several times. He looked again. It was definitely him. "Wait, did you arrest Sir Kyle?" "Yes, Master Lloyd" "What about you?" "Excuse me?" asked Javier. "I mean, are you hurt?" "No. Thankfully" "Ok, good. That's all that matters," Lloyd assured. That was truly all that mattered to Lloyd. Once he confirmed that Javier was A-OK, Lloyd finally let out a chuckle of relief.
-Chapter 100: The Night of Compliments (2)
it's,,, about lloyd sidestepping the question about whether he's worried about javier,,, not wanting to admit you care for someone you may be about to lose,,, but knowing deep down their safety is all that matters to you at that moment,,,

Weinlesefest Landscape — [Albedo x Gn!Traveler]
warnings; fluff, alcohol consumption(traveler+albedo are both at drinking age), romance is real and it's in this fic
summary; you were completely serious when you told albedo that you wanted to learn how to paint, he was completely serious when he agreed to teach you.
Tumblr media
"You really wish to learn how to paint?" Albedo raises his eyebrow. "Yes, I might as well learn some new hobbies while I'm stuck searching for these gods," I tuck a strand of my hair behind my ear while avoiding his gaze.
"I think I already know the answer to this... But there's a reason you're telling specifically me about this isn't there?"
"You got me. I want you to teach me. Or just offer some guidance, that's all."
"My guess was indeed correct," Albedo pauses, "Normally I'd be hesitant, but I'm willing to take you up on that request. Just for you."
"Thank you so much!" I almost lean in for a hug, but remember that Albedo probably wants his boundaries kept in mind.
"It's my pleasure, I was planning on painting a landscape of the festival anyway, we could attempt to paint a similar scenery and I'll guide you along the way."
"Sounds like a good idea to me, let's go then?" I inspect our surroundings, developing ideas for a painting already.
"Alright, follow me."
Albedo leads me to a cliff that shows off a view of Springvale and it's beautiful shops, flowers, and people. While he's out collecting his materials to bring back, I lay on my back inspecting the sky. Ironically, some of those clouds look like paintbrushes. The big cloud that came from nowhere looks like Albedo.
No, that is Albedo. "Welcome back, teacher," I jolt up. "Please, we can do without the titles, I'm sure you don't want me replacing y/n with honorary knight, do you?" He looks to the side, hiding the faint visual of a blush crossing his cheeks.
"Whatever you say," I chuckle. We share a moment of silence while preparing the tools and our canvases, working in unison. "You don't have to go with exactly what I'm doing, by the way. Art is all about being unique. Although I'm teaching you, if you copy all that I do, it wouldn't offer much progress." Albedo puts down the final paint bottle.
"But am I experienced enough to do anything on my own?"
"Don't doubt yourself."
Once Albedo's pencil hits the empty milky surface, I take up my own pencil after him. Our canvases sit against each other, making me unable to see his art. "I know what you're thinking. How come you can't see what I'm painting? But it's a surprise. I think I'll dedicate this one to you." He suddenly speaks. "You read my mind," I frown.
"Your expression made it pretty obvious," Albedo laughs a little.
"I'll take that as a compliment, it makes me easy to understand if I wear my emotions on my face,"
"All the more easy to make fun of, as well."
"What?"
"...You heard nothing, continue sketching y/n."
"Right..."
Returning to my art, I ponder where to begin for a moment. My eyes land on some balloons that are starting to fly away. So, I begin to sketch the ouline of a balloon. I move onto the trees that are all around the village. The groups of friends and families that are celebrating the last few days of the festival. The staff working hard to offer up drinks, while checking in on those intoxicated.
Weinlesefest is beautiful.
Albedo and I sit in silence, working diligently for a long time until both of us yawn in unison. "I think that calls for a break," Albedo puts his pencil down. "I'm nearly done with my sketch, I think I'm ready for a pause too."
"How about we go down to the shops and come back ready to put paintbrush to canvas?" Albedo suggests.
"Only if you agree to let us buy a bottle or two of wine. Have you drank at all this past week?" I grin.
"...I haven't. But I'm not good at handling my alcohol, I have a good excuse." He denies.
"You have no holiday spirit."
"It's not Winter, I'm not sure what spirit I should have?"
"The Mondstadt festival spirit! When is the last time you've truly gotten out there, be honest."
"A few years ago, maybe?"
I stare at the alchemist in shock for a minute. "Now that won't do, we're drinking tonight."
"I suppose it won't hurt too much," Albedo gives into my coaxing after a long thoughtful sigh.
I come up to the Angel Share's stall, ordering a large bottle of their special wine. After we return to our painting location from taking a walk around the village, I immediately pour us two glasses.
"Your drawing is coming along well, I can't wait to see the finished result in color." Albedo leans down near me to pick up his glass of wine. "You can see mine and I can't see yours?" I whine.
"I'm your teacher for the moment, remember? How could I teach you when I can't see what I'm teaching you on?"
"I guess." I sigh, taking a big sip of the wine. "That's what a harvest festival should taste like." The smooth liquid runs down my throat, leaving a slight burning sensation.
"Peculiar," The only words that come out of Albedo's mouth after he has his first taste.
"And? Do you like it?" I question.
"I don't hate it."
"That's all?"
Albedo takes another sip.
"It's good, don't get me wrong, it just has such a curious taste, I'm more surprised than anything." He puts the glass up to his face, taking in the scent.
"You only get that taste around this time of the year!"
"Maybe I'll keep that in mind for the next year. For now, we should return to painting before it starts getting dark."
"You're probably right, thank you for trying the wine for me," I return to the matter at hand, with my hand. I clean up the outlines of my sketch, getting ready to add paint to it. Albedo goes over some color theory and paint mixing together with me before we begin using the brushes, explaining certain techniques and such. I never knew painting would be this fun, honestly. You'd think to achieve such beauty in this form of art it'd take a lot of silent and boring focus, but the entire time we worked, we chatted. Whatever came to mind, we spoke about and I was able to count the amount of times I made him laugh, which was above zero for once. Even when we didn't speak, I had fun putting everything together as it lined up with my goal in my head.
"Are you finished?" Albedo looks over towards me, a flushed rose tone covering his entire face by now. It might just have been me worrying, but I swear he'd looked over here many times before. I've been able to feel his eyes on me.
"Almost,"
I color in some of the last wood pieces scattered around as I finish up, "Now I'm done."
"So am I."
"In good timing as well, the sunset is starting to show itself."
"You ready to show your painting?" Albedo asks.
"Of course, I've been ready to see yours as well. Please don't go too hard on me, I want your criticism but don't be mean."
"I could never be mean to you, y/n." He mumbles under his breath, so I pretend to ignore the fact that I could hear him.
When I go to his side to see the painting, I stay silent for a very long time. It's not a painting of the festival. It's a painting of me, painting the festival.
"Albedo, you-" He puts his finger to my mouth, cutting me off. "I said that I'd dedicate this one to you for a reason. After all, you're the one who made this enjoyable for me. I wouldn't have had this much fun this festival without you."
Suddenly, my face is burning.
Suddenly, I'm paralyzed in shock.
"Look, I know you're drunk right now, but you don't have to compliment me so much. If anything you're the one who allowed me to enjoy a break from the stress of keeping the shop running." I fumble with my fingers and once again find myself avoiding his gaze.
"Even if I was sober right now, I'd be thinking the exact same thing. It's just that... Although it might be the heat of the moment, you looked really beautiful painting. You're always stunning, but especially when you're drunk and every word comes from you, unfiltered. You're ethereal, all I can do is hope you're aware of that." He wraps his arms around my waist.
"You're right, maybe it is the heat of the moment, but I could kiss you right now, Albedo. Thank you."
I look back up, staring into the swirls that sit on his eyes as I grow closer into his embrace, touching my lips to his.
We've just brought the first painting session to a close and I already can't wait for the next one.
i wrote this at the speed of light man i love albedo so much i didn't know i had it in me to finish a fic in the same day i started it (although it is 12:15 am but that doesn't count) i will forever treasure weinlesefest i spent the entire day farming the entire event it was so worth it (that's kinda a lie it took me so fucking long)
