You know who I don’t think gets enough credit for their lines? The person who played Nana. The way she delivered on them is just +++1000 A+ I could not wish for a better performance. Specifically the way she said he was crushed by a tree :D with that excitement and gusto made me fall off my seat with laughter. Nailed it. I love her. I hope she’s doing alright

I’m loving the trifecta of shows (good omens, our flag means death, what we do in the shadows) that have mlm relationships that doesnt fall in A) two white effeminate twink teenagers or B) basically a het relationship where they lean into gendered stereotypes. It’s wonderful seeing these well-written romances play out in a way that doesn’t cater to the stereotypes that are associated with being a gay man.

For someone who resonates very strongly with Ed, I must confess I also resonate very strongly with Stede. Specifically in the sense of not realizing the impact I have on those around me.
He leaves his family on a whim and it isn’t until someone (albeit wrongly) suggests he destroyed his family, that that he even considers the fact that his disappearance had any lasting affect on them at all. I mean he didn’t even say bye to his kids for god sake
Then he leaves Ed because he “ruined him” while at the time untrue, it becomes true.. because he has no idea just how much of a positive impact he’d HAD to begin with.. let alone how much it fucking hurts Ed not to have Stede there. Like Stede has no clue just how much Ed loves him.
He’s finally figured out he loves Ed but he doesn’t know what he’s walking into because he feels so low about himself he doesn’t think about the fact that he matters. Peoples lives for better or for worse are impacted by his presence.. and he just doesn’t get that. Yet.
Anyway yeah I made some choices in the past that are super relatable for similar reasons. He’s not just a clueless idiot, he just needs to realize how much he affects those around him.

I'm considering watching Our Flag Means Death, but before I do, can someone who has watched it tell me if there is any actual queer content, or is it all just fandom? I've seen a lot of OFMD content on my dash and its all very gay, but I want to know if said gay-ness is canon or fanon before I commit to watching it.
