Working on this regency era inspired outfit for an event this weekend. I’m nearly finishing by the skin of my teeth here due to a couple setbacks— but once that’s done, Im back to normal with starting a new project, i hope to finish that end of march which means more time for replies! //

WHAT HAPPENED TO THE ORIGINAL MARCELINE OF THE WINTER KING'S UNIVERSE!? 😨
Is the implication that Ice King took her out with all of the other oozers or did the oozers end up killing her?? Either way, it seems that this Simon was not coping well with any of what was going on in his life. Living a life of hypocrisy & ruling a false kingdom.

did you know that in one of dorm epel's voicelines he mentions he once got lost in pomefiore and ended up in a creepy basement. it's never mentioned again or given any clarification and i think about it every day
that comes up a couple of times actually! there's just like...a weird creepy dungeon slash old alchemy lab that the Pomefiore castle was built on top of. I think Vil might use it sometimes? but really it serves absolutely no purpose beyond the characters every once in a while being like "oh yeah, there's that secret underground laboratory we all apparently know about" and then never elaborating on it at all.
(I know it's a movie reference, but it's still pretty wild to just. in-universe have a not-so-secret basement alchemy dungeon that never has any relevance beyond a couple of throwaway lines. what other buckwild secrets does NRC hold that the characters just never talk about for some reason)

I think one of the main cultural quirks that non-US people need to understand about the US is that every state, or set of neighboring states, has their own above-average but nothing special regional fast food chain, and most residents of that area will swear on their life that this particular one is special and amazing and perfect and only people from [insert region] know what real [insert food] is like, and will fight (potentially to the death) anyone who tries to say otherwise, when in reality that chain is probably just what the bare minimum of fast food should taste like, but all of our standards have been lowered.
It's honestly incredibly American. Completely pointless loyalty, fast food, regional pride on an arbitrary basis, thinking you're unique when you're not... Of all our harmless cultural quirks, its certainly one of the most emblematic.
Except for In n Out, of course. In n Out is ACTUALLY special and amazing and perfect and us West Coasters are the only people who know what real burgers are.

in s2 merlin when gwen gets kidnapped says "I've never seen you like this about anyone." he's never seen arthur whenever merlin goes missing/gets hurt. every time without fail arthur either actively disobeys uther to go and search for a cure, risking death and getting arrested, or sends out an entire army to find him and then goes looking for him himself when they didn't find him. he was so whipped and merlin only didn't realise it because he was almost dead or missing whenever arthur went batshit

I’m once again disheartened by the preference towards the Beast over the tormented prince. Weeps/

I think my favorite little parallel between Ascended vs Spawn Astarion has to be this little, probably even unintentional, detail in the epilogue:
Mr Vampire Ascendant, when confronted about freedom, asking the pc if they'd prefer sleeping in the dirt over "living" in his prescribed decadence.
Meanwhile, if left as a spawn Astarion is like
*Passes several chairs, rugs, a pile of pillows, and two log benches to plant his pretty little ass in the dirt*
"THIS DIRT'S THE BEST! I LOVE DIRT!!"
