Five Chickens
Tumblr media
Requested by anonymous: Hey Hey! How about our 4 juniors boys from The Untamed, joined by a junior girl from the Nie clan (I think she could be Nie Huaisang's younger sister), when she saves their lives from a demon, but turns ugly during the fight. She is stubborn and so refuses their help, without realizing herself that the weapon that hit her was poisoned and she was in agony after a few days. But they manage to save her, repaying her for her earlier help. THX, have a nice day!❣️❣️❣️
Pairing: Untamed Juniors x fem!reader
Word Count: 2.0k words
"She'll do great, she knows what she's doing." Wuxian was teasing Huaisang, with a stupid grin as he watched you and all other younglings march out into the fields. Huaisang's eyes remained trained on you and he didn't even react to Wuxian's comment, much to the man's dismay. He was right, Huaisang knew that much, and yet he couldn't help but worry about you.
This would be your first official hunt, dressed in the dark grey robes that represented your clan and a large saber in hand. Unlike him, you were much more interested in fighting and swords. If anything, you were a carbon copy of your oldest brother, Mingjue. Only differences that you were a bit less aggressive, but in now way should you be angered. You had been hunting since you were 10 years old, a talent for tracking and killing demons that gained you the title of 'the little demon of Nie'. Yet, Huaisang was worried. He didn't want to lose another on of his family members.
Tumblr media
"It went this way!" Jing Ling's voice was booming loud, anyone near could hear it and in turn also creatures. Sizhui and Zizhen were trying to shush the boy, but getting Jingyi quiet was another task.
"I know it went this way, I'm not blind! But can you see anything here, stupid?" Jingyi screamed back before all of them froze when something loud growled behind them. With a turn of their heads, the cause of this became clear.
They supposed it was a man, but it's body was disfigured and broken. Black smoke surrounded it, pulling attention away from the obvious dangling arm and broken leg.
"Uh... demon?" Zizhen stuttered and the others nodded before jumping when the creature let out a loud roar. They ran in an instance, avoiding trees as they were chased.
"I thought there were only bunnies!" Jingyi screamed loudly as he jumped over some fallen trees, daring to look back and only screaming when he noticed how close the demon was to him. Curses flew from his mouth, which made Sizhui frown at the breaking of the rules. With another roar, they all dared to look back before slowing down. Someone had jumped on the demon, sword slashing away at the enemy as they avoided the attacks. The quartet slowed down, staring at their savior as they fought. Then, with a final blow, the demon crashed to the ground, smoke completely gone and a girl straddling the body with the sword impaled into it's chest.
"You guys run like chickens." The comment was unexpected, so much so that Sizhui couldn't help but laugh while others stared in shock. You got up, pulling your saber out of the demon's body and watching as it turned to ashes before you walked closer to the quartet. It was then that they realized that you were Nie (Y/n), if not for the saber it was for the smirk you wore that sent shivers down their spines and reminded them of Nie Mingjue. You walked closer before pausing right in front of them, saber now thrown over your shoulder as you placed your other hand on your hip.
'You're hurt." Sizhui noticed the long scratch on your leg, cutting through your robes and revealing your leg along with the wound. You followed his gaze, looking at your leg with confusion before sighing softly as you tore a lower part of your robes before lifting the robes up to your hip.
"Cover up!" Jin Ling and Jingyi yelled in sync, all of them turning away from seeing you practically naked or at least like they believed. You paused for a few seconds before rolling your eyes, continuing to wrapping your leg to keep the blood loss to a minimum. Then you lowered your robes once again and looking back at the boys.
"Let's find something else to hunt, you chickens." You spoke as you brushed past them, walk turning into a sprint as you got sight of another creature. The four boys couldn't help but follow, although it was with slight hesitance in their steps.
Tumblr media
"Oi, chickens!" There rang a collective groan from the group as they noticed you approaching, or more specifically from Jin Ling and Jingyi as they all turned to face your approaching figure.
"Stop calling us that!" Jingyi called out, clearly annoyed as he glared at you. You didn't react to the glare, instead you just smiled at Sizhui as he greeted you. He was probably the only once that didn't mind the nickname too much, he was used to worse kind of nicknames at this point (Wuxian being the cause of this).
You stopped once you were next to the group, sighing loudly before looking at the object in Sizhui's hands. It was a child's toy, yet he held it with such care and you couldn't help but wonder why.
"Did you buy that here?" You asked, pointing at the object and Sizhui looked down before nodding. He opened his hands fully to reveal the toy, which now was clearly shown to be a butterfly. It was pretty and reminded you of the toys that you had as a child, not that you cared much for those when you were young as you preferred to play with the swords of your brother.
"Did you go to the doctor for your wounds?" Zizhen asked and you smiled at the boy, but shook your head nonetheless. You didn't see the point, it was a simple flesh wound and you were used to those.
"Are you sure that's okay?" "Yeah, I cleaned and wrapped it. It'll be fine, nothing I haven't had before." You said with another smile, not flinching in the slightest as you prodded at the wound before shrugging it off.
"What about you? You sprained your ankle, no?" You turned to Jin Ling and he looked surprised that you knew that before nodding at you, yet not speaking up besides a thank you. Right when you were about to say something else, you heard a loud shout from behind you as a man walked by with a cart full of snacks. With wide eyes, you carefully watched the sugar covered fruits and your hand was quick to move to your money pouch. You raced to the man, buying five sugar covered fruit skewers before handing the vendor his money. Then you made your way back to the group.
"Here you go, enjoy!" You smiled as you handed out the skewers to the quartet, who all took it with slight hesitation before all taking a bite. In a second, all their faces lit up as they continued to eat to the treat. You followed, carefully biting into the fruit and listening to the small crack of the sugar. With a small, you chewed on the candy with a happy sigh. It was nice to eat some sugar once in a while, even if it was super unhealthy for you. Only halfway through the apple, you suddenly felt a pain in your abdomen that tore right through your whole body. The apple clattered to the ground, shattering on impact while you held your stomach in pain as your vision blurred before turning dark.
Sizhui was the first to react as he watched you go down, his own treat joining yours on the ground as he gently laid you down. You were unconscious, but clearly still in pain as your brows furrowed. Black lines were rising above your collar, stopping right underneath your jawline and the lines were slightly raised up.
"She needs a doctor." Sizhui said and Jing Ling, surprisingly, was first to lift you up on his back, making sure that your arms were wrapped around his shoulders and that he had a firm grasp on your legs before he turned his head to the group. Zizhen was the first to speak again, leading the way to the closest doctor. Surely the doctor must've been shocked to see them run in, all of you from rather major clans, but he was quick to move as he noticed your state.
Your skin had turned pale, the black marks had grown more noticeable and your eyes were flickering open and closed every few seconds. When you were laid down on the bed, the doctor was quick to check your state as the others watched patiently for whatever was happening. The doctor was quick to start treatment, not saying a single thing as he treated you with various things like liquid medicines or cream. It took only a couple of minutes before he finished, sighing loudly before making his way over to the quartet.
"How long has she been like that?" "We don't know, we only saw her today. Before today it has been two weeks or so." Sizhui answered and the doctor nodded, jotting it down before handing them a bottle with medicine pills.
"She needs this every day, one in the morning and one in the evening." He then said, looking at them with a stern gaze while Jingyi took ahold of the medicine.
"She also needs a lot of rest for the poison to get out of her system, I even recommend helping her by making her spiritual energy circulate faster. How you do that is your and her choice." The doctor continued before turning away and continuing his previous work while Jin Ling walked back to you. You were lifted again, once again laying on his back as he made sure that you wouldn't fall.
Then all of you made your way back to the hotel, where they could hopefully warn some of the adults of your condition.
Tumblr media
"I am not a child..." You spoke as your medicine was handed to you along with a cup of water by Jingyi, who almost looked like he didn't really want to be here. Nonetheless, you took the pill and swallowed it with a heavy sigh. Being bedridden was not your style, you hated being stuck in the same room from sunrise to sundown. The quartet visited every day to take care of you and Xichen came along every two to three days to help you to help you with your spiritual energy. Right now, the black veins had gone back down, now only near your wound like any normal infection, and it didn't hurt anymore thanks to the faster healing rate due to your spiritual energy.
"Then you would've gone to the doctor when needed. Besides, you're fourteen." Jingyi said and you pouted at him before laying back down. You pulled your blanket up before looking back towards Jingyi, patting the spot beside you. Jingyi gave you a short glare, turning around with a huff and you sighed.
"Chicken." You whispered, to which Jingyi gave you another glare before laying down anyway. You smiled at your victory, leaning your head against his shoulder before sighing again.
"Thank you for the help. You and the other boys, of course." You whispered again, but Jingyi didn't answer you and it just remained quiet in the room. Until the other three appeared, all pausing as they saw Jingyi lay beside you. You lifted your head, patting the bed softly again and causing the three to join you by sitting down near your legs while Zizhen moved to sit against the wall on your other side.
"How are you?" "Well, I'm bored. So, did you bring something to eat?" You asked, staring at Sizhui with curious eyes. He reacted by simply pulling out a pouch and opening it to reveal some hard candies that you had asked for. You sat back up, happily grabbing one and popping it into your mouth with a happy smile.
"You're the best!" You laid back down and chewed happily, laying your head against Jingyi's shoulder once again. The boys talked and you just listened to them with a smile, laughing at the comments they made. It was under weird circumstances, but you were glad you had met them and became friends.
With those thoughts, you drifted to sleep with a smile on your face.

Can you do ickies but junior version?
aw yea; i’m glad you liked the first one!
i think the juniors are babies themselves, so this will be fun to write. i am picturing this in our canon au!
(the "ickies" hc in reference found here)
enjoy~
ˑ༄ؘ ۪۪۫۫ ▹▫◃ ۪۪۫۫ ༄ؘ ˑ
Lan Sizhui
you were both on shared baby-sitting duties,
the little child, your cousin, bouncing happily in your lap
and the sight of you playing with the little boy,
the smile on your face
and the way that the child’s eyes light up with each song that you sing
makes Sizhui’s heart swell so much
that he can’t help but lean over and place a gentle kiss on your cheek
it startles you
a happy surprise
when you turn to look at him, still bouncing the little boy in your arms, you’re a little winded by the pure look of love when your eyes lock
you find yourself gravitating to him naturally, though this time you place a kiss right on his nose
it is clear that you both want to kiss each other very much
but there was a child,
and said child, sat in the middle of you both, has his hands covering his eyes, ears red just like a certain Lan
Lan Jingyi
the giggling around you is what makes you both break away from the kiss
first out of curiosity
then settled embarrassment
even as a senior disciple now,
Lan Jingyi was not as intimidating as his title
especially when he was caught kissing you
“jie-jie and ge-ge sitting in a tree, k-i-s-s-i-n-g” the young Lan disciples sing song in a circle around you, making faces and laughing as Jingyi huffs and tries to get them to settle down
the blush on your face is high and red,
you can’t help but take your long robes and cover your face with your hands
at the sight of you, Jingyi simply laughs louder,
can’t hide the smile on his face
he ignores all the teasing and pointing from the younger disciples to take you into his arms,
to let you hide your face in his chest
wrapped so tightly in his hug does little to help the redness on your cheeks
but you don’t leave his arms anyways
Jin Ling
the taste of the hawthorn candies is sweet on your lips,
and Jin Ling’s hand is where it cradles your face
and clearly kissing on the sidelines of a marketplace is not really the place to be
but Jin Ling couldn’t help it,
not when your lips were shiny from the coating of the caramelized sugar
not when your eyes were lit up little a child at the very first bite
not when you looked absolutely adorable
“ge, is that how you’re supposed to eat the candies?”
the little girl’s voice is genuinely curious, pointing at the sight of you and Jin Ling, lips locked near the candy stand
the taller boy cringes, pats the little girl’s head as he takes her hand to lead her away
“no, that’s how adults eat them”
Ouyang Zizhen
Zizhen’s lips had always been a distraction to you
but when he’s kissing you,
it completely makes you forget about everything else
it’s the loud gagging noise near by that makes you break away from Zizhen’s lips
even then, he still chases after your lips naturally
and you have to catch his face with your hands to get him to open his eyes again
you both turn to the side to see none other than your younger cousins,
when the six year olds meet your eyes, the boys proceed to make even more exaggerated puking and grossed out sounds
and you huff at them, ready to go and give them lecture,
when your boyfriend’s arms wrap around your waist,
hold you back,
hold you close
his breath is warm where it tickles your neck,
“let’s go somewhere a little more private,”
and you can’t help but follow

MDZS Juniors Headcannon - Reader who can talk to animals
Tumblr media
Jiang Cheng, Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian, 3 Zuns, and Seniors
Lán Sīzhuī:
When Lán Sīzhuī first met you, he didn't judge you at all. He treated you with respect and didn't think you were that different from others even though you could talk to animals. When Lán Sīzhuī first heard the rumours about the powerful cultivator that could talk to animals, he was amazed and always wanted to meet you. After he met you, he knew that the rumours about you being a lunatic were completely false and that you were just misunderstood. What he loves about you is that you are always considerate of others, and that you always put others first before yourself. He also loves that you get along easily with his adopted Father, Wèi Wúxiàn. You get along with Wèi Wúxiàn because you guys are both misunderstood and you both want best for Lán Sīzhuī. Even though you get along with Wèi Wúxiàn well, Lán Sīzhuī sometimes gets annoyed because you learn shameless things from Wèi Wúxiàn and when you're out with him and Lán Sīzhuī. He feels like a third wheel sometimes because of how well you get along with his father. When you guys hear rumors about you, Lán Sīzhuī would always tell you to ignore them and always keep calm, and don't do anything you'll regret.
Lán Jǐngyí:
When Lán Jǐngyí first heard about  about you. He was really scared of you because some rumors would say that you were a crazy lunatic, other rumors would say that you were a ghost that had been sent to punish them, and another rumor that he heard about you is that you were an insane cultivator that practice demonic cultivation and your teacher was  Xuē Yáng. But of course all those rumors were completely false. When Lán Jǐngyí first met you, he was terrified but then he realized that you were just a regular cultivator that could talk to animals. He loves that you are always confident no matter what people talk about you. But what he really hates is that sometimes your confidence can causes you guys to get in trouble. When he still hears the rumors about you, he would always tell people to stop making false claims about you and that you're just a regular cultivator like them.
Jīn Líng:
When Jīn Líng first met you, he thought you were insane and crazy. But then once Fairy ran towards you, he realized that all the rumor and lies that cultivators had told him in the past were completely wrong because if Fairy likes you then there's nothing wrong with you. He loves that you and fairy are able to communicate with each other. He would always pretend that he doesn't want to know what you guys are talking about even though he secretly wishes to know. He does get jealous of you because of the bond you and Fairy share. He gets very jealous because you are able to communicate with her and he wishes that he was also able to talk to her. When rumors are spread about you, he would threaten them and would demand them to stop talking about you, and leave you alone.
Ōuyáng Zizhēn:
When Ōuyáng Zizhēn first heard about you, he didn't believe the rumors because they were just stories about you, and the stories were too crazy to be true. After he met you, he knew that the rumors were false and there wasn't anything unusual about you besides the fact you can talk to animals. He loves that you're very intelligent, and he admires you for your knowledge and skill in cultivating. What he dislikes is that you sometimes tend to wander and then he would always find you in the same place. You're always with the animals and you always try to sneak them with you. If people talk bad about you,  Ōuyáng Zizhēn would always be polite but he would have a very annoyed tone. He would tell people to stop spreading rumors about you and he would always say the positives about you to show them that you aren't a lunatic.

Hi! Sizhuyu shared me your blog and I loved the contents so if you can can you do the juniors but seperate stories if they inhaled aphrosadraic ( or whatever its called ) insense? But it’s a Husband AU :’) . Imagine them being all romantic haha!
I hope you like it!! I don’t do overly nsfw, only heated stuff + alluding to nsfw so I hope this suffices! It’s a husband AU thingie, so they’re all obvi aged up. But for future reference, all the characters I write for will be aged up regardless of the content.
Incense of Desire
“This is… what?” You asked the woman with black hair. She huffed and rolled her emerald eyes before looking at you.
“For the third time, it’s an incense that’ll make your husband swoon over you. All you need to do is light it thirty minutes before he gets home and it’ll work wonders!” You don’t even remember how you’d gotten here, but this seemed pretty interesting. There wasn’t anything particularly wrong with your relationship, but to see a side like that seemed exciting nonetheless. It wasn’t costly either. You finally made up your mind and looked at the woman.
“Ok, I’ll buy some.”
Lan Sizhui:
You waited rather impatiently for Sizhui to get home. It had been thirty minutes since you’d lit the incense and it smelled great. It reminded you of roses… but also winter. It didn’t take long for you to hear the door open.
“I’m home!” A voice called out. Your nerves spiked, but you ignored them and put a smile on your face, running to the living room.
“Welcome home!” You gave your husband a hug and a kiss, letting him place his sword down. Recently, he and a few of his friends had been hearing of demonic activity not too far from where you lived. He’d usually be gone at least all day, but always returned at night, even though night was the best time to hunt demons.
“Dinner’s ready! I hope you didn’t eat this time.” He smiled and shook his head.
“No, I remembered. I love your cooking so I didn’t want to miss out on it again.” He sniffed around for a second, which made you a little nervous.
“It smells good. Really good!” He walked past you and you sighed in relief. What were you going to tell him anyway?
He quickly changed out of his clothes and into some clean ones, but when he returned he stopped and stared at you as you got the food ready. You looked back at him and smiled.
“Ah! Just in time, food’s ready.” He didn’t move or speak though, just silently watching your figure move throughout the kitchen. You looked back once more and titled your head. “Everything ok?”
He blinked and nodded before moving. However, instead of moving towards the food, he stopped directly in front of you. Before you could say anything, he’d trapped you against the wall.
“I… I’m sorry… I can’t help myself.” His lips quickly captured yours and you both forgot the food rather immediately.
Lan Jinyi:
“I’m home!” About time! You’d been waiting for well over thirty minutes and you were worried the incense would’ve started affecting you. However, the lady at the shop insisted and promised that it would only affect our husband. How she was so sure, you didn’t know. But you didn’t question it too much… until you were waiting for your husband to come home.
How were you so sure it wasn’t poisoned? The incense could’ve easily killed you and your husband would’ve come home to your corpse. Wasn’t that a bit reckless of you?
“Hey, there you are.” You jumped when you saw your husband’s face inches away from your own. “You ok? Normally, you always greet me when I come home.” You pushed a smile onto your face and nodded.
“I’m ok! I promise! Um… maybe we should go out for a walk!” You suggested, nervously giggling as you stood up. If the incense was indeed poisoned, it would be best to get away now. You’d already inhaled quite a bit of it but you were fine, for now. You’d get checked by a doctor later.
“Why? It’s late, besides didn’t you have a long day? Shouldn’t we just rest?” He asked as he tugged your arm, causing you to fall into his lap.
“Yeah, but I feel like going for a walk! Come on! Pleaseeee!” You said, giving him your best puppy dog eyes. Unable to say no to you, Jingyi nodded.
“Alright, sure.” However, when you tried to stand up, you couldn’t. There was something in his eyes, something you didn’t see often. You settled back in feeling that happy-go-lucky atmosphere melting away as a more intimate one set in. Jingyi leaned in, pulling you closer too. Your lips melded together perfectly and any need to leave the house was immediately quelled.
Jin Ling:
You were excited to see a new side to Jin Ling. The woman had promised there would be no negative side effects to the incense, so you had that assurance. Jin Ling was rather… difficult when it came to romance. Sure, he let you know he loved you on many occasions, but he would always be really shy about it. Sometimes he’d roll his eyes when he told you he loved you.
None of these hurt your feelings, he’d never let that happen. But to see him SWOON over you… that was something that excited you. The incense had been burning for about thirty minutes now and you were just waiting for Jin Ling to get home.
You heard the door open and perked up, trying to hide the mischievous smile on your face. You ran out of your bedroom to greet your husband, giving him a welcoming smile.
“Welcome home!” You giggled, jumping in his arms and giving him a kiss on the cheek. He caught you rather easily and moved to the side, placing the sword on it’s holder.
“Thank you, how were you today?”
“Good! I really missed you!” You pouted, making him huff as he set you down gently.
“Yeah well… I am pretty amazing so it makes sense.” You giggled and shook your head as he walked into the house. He smelled the air, stopping for a second as he felt his head spin. It smelled pretty good, but he’d never expected the incense to give him a headache.
“Are you ok?”
“Yeah… yeah, I’m ok.” He responded as you quickly poured him a cup of water. He took slow and steady sips before looking up at you as you took the cup from him.
“Don’t tell me you overworked yourself today. I told you not to.” He shook his head as his eyes trailed down your form.
“No… you just look really beautiful today.” You paused, feeling your cheeks heat up a little.
“O-oh, thank you.” Before you could even suggest anything, he reached out and gently let his finger brush against your cheek.
“Soft too, did you know your cheeks are soft? Sometimes, I just want to hold them. But then when we make eye contact, it makes my heart beat so fast I get dizzy.” Ok this was definitely the incense working, because Jin Ling wouldn’t just say that out of nowhere.
“I- well thank you. That’s very sweet of you.” You smiled, making him smile as well.
“Oh, now they’re warm. Are you blushing? Because it looks good on you.”
“The blush?” He nodded, leaning in before gently kissing your lips. It was almost tantalizing. Without much of a warning, Jin Ling pushed you down onto the sofa.
“I’m sorry-” He captured your lips once more and you’d never been more grateful for that new incense you bought.
Ouyang Zizhen:
Now why did you buy this incense exactly? There wasn’t anything lacking in your relationship. You’d asked the woman even more questions after you bought it and it was obvious she got annoyed. She still answered all of your questions thoroughly, which is why you were sitting here right now.
The incense had been burning for almost 45 minutes now and you kept thinking about why you’d bought it. Zizhen never hid his emotions from you, he was always rather lovey-dovey. He complimented you whenever he could, told you he loved you, and just showed his emotions often in general.
While you were thinking about opening the windows to get the smell out, the door opened and you heard your husband’s voice come through.
“I’m home!” Well… too late now. You fixed your hair and stood up, going to greet him.
“Welcome home! I missed you!” He smiled brightly as he gave you a hug, placing a kiss on your lips.
“It smells really good in here. Did you buy new incense?” You nodded immediately.
“I did! I thought it might’ve been too much so I was thinking about opening the windows up!” Zizhen shook his head at your words.
“No! It smells great! Wow, you look different. Did you… no your hair is the same, you’re just glowing today.” You blushed at his words, shaking your head.
“That’s sweet of you.”
“I mean it! You look really good today and-” His excitable mood stopped abruptly and you looked up at him, tilting your head.
“Yes?” He was silently staring at your lips, making no effort to move at all. “Are you o-” He interrupted your words with a deep, intense kiss. You couldn’t complain as he easily picked you up, letting you wrap your legs around his waist.
“I… sorry… I just can’t stop.”

reactions of juniors listening to reader sing? fem reader.
Sure! I actually never did the juniors.. The topic is about the juniors hearing you sing “Xian Yun / 羡云 ” for the first time, + teaching them.. here’s to your request!
OOC ( Out Of Character ) incoming!
☆*: .。. .。.:*☆ A Melody to My Heart  ☆*: .。. .。.:*☆
Tumblr media
 .。.:*☆ Lan Sizhui ☆*: .。.  :
He never heard you sing, but when you did today.. He couldn’t get it out of his head! “You were like a professional!” Sizhui comments with a surprising tone “Uh.. Thanks? Though I never sang much, it’s been so long.” You respond getting up from the chair and packing your music book “I like it when you sing, please do it more when you are with me! We can duet, just.. Teach me Y/N.” He says to you “I forgot how to sing so It might be confusing Sizhui.” You say to him walking to your dorm “It’s fine! I want you to teach me, I like listening  to your voice! We share the same dorm after all, so we can practice together!” You agree and began to teach him the next day and he was really good! It was like he can really sing from the beginning. “Sizhui! You lied! You CAN sing!” You point at him with wide eyes surprisingly he didn’t need help! “Y/N, I merely followed your instructions.” You didn’t believe him of course since you made it a little hard to understand. “The tune should be a little lower, its not a high note yet calm down.” You spoke like a literal music professional.. “Y/N?.. Y/N?” Sizhui waved his hand at you, “I think I broke her..” He thinks to himself until you finally blinked “Ah, I dozed off again.” You say while putting your music book down “thanks for teaching me Y/N.” And the lesson was an excuse to listen to your voice.
 .。.:*☆ Lan Jingyi  ☆*: .。.
He never EVER heard you sing so beautifully. He only heard some hums here and there but never your actual voice! “As the Guqin strums on, flute notes fade slowly away.” ( Whoever watches Robyn Ardery yes it is her english cover of “羡云” ) He loved how you sang it so beautifully, he wanted to try it too! “Y/N! teach me!” Just when you finished the song he walks up behind you.. And ALMOST gave you a heart attack! “Don’t scare me like that!” You say to him “Sorry! Just wanted you to teach me! But why did you hide your talent?” He asks you “Well I was just about to sing this for hanguang-jun and Senior Wei’s anniversary.. But DON’T you DARE tell them or give hints to ANYONE!” He nods as you now begin to teach him. “Can I play some of the parts with you?” He really wants to duet no? “Fine.” And you begin to teach him after 3 weeks “At least you got the tune right, but the lyrics.. MEMORIZE IT.” And at Wangxian’s anniversary.. You both sang it so nicely Wei Wuxian cried happy tears.
.。.:*☆ Jin Ling ☆*: .。.
( Jiang Yanli is alive )
“We can’t stay. If I gave you my life, would you please jus-” You were interrupted by Jin Ling when he sneezed. ( Caught red-handed ) “Jin Ling! Why are you eavesdropping me?!” You immediately close your book and run to him “Hmph!” You hit him with your book before he can say anything “I wanted to go pick you up for dinner but you were singing so beautifully.. Teach me!” “What? Why do you need ME to teach YOU?” You question him but then again he wanted you to teach him so he can sing a certain song to his mother. “Oh alright! Fine!” Then you began to teach him and he didn’t really need that much help. But you really loved his voice ( some voice cracks ruin the mood but either way you are his teacher ). He was ready and he sang for his mother ( You deserve it Yanli ) “A-Ling, you sang so nicely! Who taught you?” She asks Jin Ling as he points at you. “You 2 could make a great duo.”
.。.:*☆ Ouyang Zizhen ☆*: .。.
“Would you please just glance my way? Nothing is all I feel everyday-” You were interrupted by a clumsy Zizhen whose books fell down while listening to you sing. “Ah, the clumsy Zizhen is at it again. Why were you spying on me? Or did you miss me that much from your night hunt?” He blushes at you and you giggle at his reaction when he gives you a nod. “Can you teach me?” You reply a yes and after some weeks he didn’t really need help.. His memorization needs work if he is going to sing after all. “Okay memorize the lyrics more often and you can sing as good as me!” He laughs and says “Ok love.” And you both began to practice when he finally memorized the lyrics.
note : I felt like it was a popstar / idol AU but anon never specified so sorry if it isn’t what you asked for!!

The yandere! jiang cheng when she tried to runaway is so good!!! Part 2 when she realize she pregnant, terrified and scared of what jiang cheng would do, she runaway to gusu. Jiang cheng is angry, when he meet reader she is threatened miscarriage,...you can choose the ending bc I'm lowkey scared of this man now
Awww! Thank you! And I think i see something going on here... Honestly, I am scared of what I wrote about him haha! I will insert myself as your friend to help you escape if that is alright, and tell me in the ask box who do you want to end up with? Anyways! Here you go! :
You felt uneasy and fainted infront of Wei Wuxian and the juniors “Miss Y/N!” They call out your name, luckily Wei Wuxian caught you. “Y/N! Wake up!” He shakes you gently and Xiaoyue ( me ) runs up to check on you. “Jingyi! Get the physician over here now!” She tells him and Jingyi runs to get the physician.
When you woke up you see Wei Wuxian, Lan Wangji, Lan Xichen and the juniors listening carefully to what the doctor is saying. You hear a ringing noise and you saw white spots and you finally say “What is happening..” The seven of them turn their head to you and Xiaoyue walks to you while holding your hand. You were back in Lotus pier and Jiang Cheng was visiting Nie Huaisang. “Y/N... You are pregnant..” She announces the news to you. Your eyes filled with tears of sadness and joy clouded your vision when you heard her say that. “I will leave you all be.” The physician left the room and now it’s just you, and the eight of them inside. “Y/N, do you still want to stay?.. With Jiang Cheng?” Wei Wuxian asks you “Here, use this to wipe your tears Miss Y/N.” Sizhui hands his handkerchief to you as you dry your tears with it. “Y/N-jie..” Xiaoyue’s soft blue eyes filled with sadness for your child and what will the future be for the both of you. “I don’t want to stay here any longer.” You say still sniffling. “I want to run away.. Please help me..” You finally say to them and Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji look at each other, then at Lan Xichen. “Y/N-guiniang, you could stay in Gusu. Xiaoyue can help you take care of the child along with the juniors. We will provide anything you need there.” He says to you ”Mn, you can tell us anything.” Lan Wangji tells you. You nod and say “I want to run away to Gusu.”
That night, when Jiang Cheng was still in Qinghe. Wei Wuxian and the 2 maids ( if you remember, the first part. ) packed your stuff and Xiaoyue sang a song on the roof, making the people outside sleep. “While Xiaoyue is singing, we will go through the door when you hear it open.” Wei Wuxian explains and when you heard the door open... You saw “Jiang Cheng..” Both you and Wei Wuxian were left shook. He came in early.. “What is the meaning of this?!” He shouted and the Zidian crackled it’s purple lightning. “Jiang Cheng, I‘m telling you this.. Don’t. Hurt. Her.” Resentful energy surrounds Wei Wuxian and you when he said that. Jiang Cheng brings a body from outside, “Give me back my wife or I will kill this girl.” He says while he chokes Xiaoyue. “Do-don’t..” She struggles in his grasp “Y/N!” He shouts at you, Zidian crackling again. “Lan Zhan!” Wei Wuxian calls out his partners name for help. “Hah.. You think that Lan boy will save you? I took care of him already.. Zewu-Jun, Jingyi, Zizhen, Sizhui.. And.. Jin Ling. They all are serverly injured, all because of you.” Jiang Cheng laughs hysterically, Xiaoyue and Wei Wuxian tears up “What did you do to them?!” Wei Wuxian screams “Where are they?!” He asks again. “Give me Y/N, and I’ll tell.” Jiang Cheng says, determined to imprison you in Yunmeng. “Not a chance!” Wei Wuxian says and Jiang Cheng’s grip tightens around Xiaoyue’s neck. “H-he-help..” She pleaded while gasping for air. “Let her and Wei-Xiong go..” You say and he does as he was told. Wei Wuxian, still protecting you. And Xiaoyue gasps for air with tears on her eyes. You walk up to him and say “I am atleast 3 weeks pregnant Wanyin, if you want this child.. Let me go.” You say to him and he was surprised! He is going to be a father? ( yea sorry no.. ) you look at Xiaoyue, sliently crying and Wei Wuxian was still keeping his guard up with his swollen eyes. “Sect leader Jiang.. What did you do to them..” Xiaoyue finally asks, coughing out blood. “Stabbed them here and there.. Whipped them, cursed at them..” Jiang Cheng says still in shock. Xiaoyue is trembling at what else might have happened to them. “If you dare.. Capture me and my child to be brought back here.. I will stage a miscarriage..” You say knowing you won’t dare sacrifice the child inside you. But he doesn’t know. Jiang Cheng begs you to stay but his efforts in vain, his heart broken.
You saw the damage Jiang Cheng did to your friends ( and son figure ). “Everyone!” You brisk walk to them seeing all their wounds and whip lashes. “Lan Zhan!” Wei Wuxian embraces his husband “Wei.. Ying..” Lan Wangji manages to say his lovers name. “Y/N-guiniang..” The juniors greet you, trying to stand up. “Sizhui!” Xiaoyue tries to run to him but falls in the slippery pier. “Xiaoyue!” Sizhui tries to stand up but when Jiang Cheng whipped their legs.. The pain was unbearable. Xiaoyue cried trying to walk carefully to the juniors, but she sprained her ankle. “Jin Ling..” You walk to him, and embrace him “Mom...” He tears up saying those words. “How will we go back to Gusu..” You ask and Lan Xichen tries to stand up and walk towards you. “Y/N-guiniang, you don’t need to worry..” he comforts you. “Sizhui, Jingyi, any Gusu Lan signals? ( I forgot what they were called )” Xiaoyue asks and Sizhui handed her the last one. She stands up and fires the signal up in the sky, after some minutes you rip off your purple Jiang robes and bandaged everyone with your sleeves and hem of your robes. Xiaoyue did the same and when the Lan disciples came to help, you told them to call a physician again. “Mom.. It hurts..” Jin Ling tells you when you squeezed his hand. “Sorry a-Ling..” You apologize and received news from the physician. ( I’m no doctor okay- ) “It’s not really life threatening, they need rest and sleep.” He told you and Xiaoyue brought some soup for all of you.
“Open your mouth.” You say to Jin Ling and spoon-fed him his soup, Wei Wuxian did the same thing and Xiaoyue did the same thing with Sizhui. Jingyi and Zizhen’s hands were fine :D
( will make a part 3 but tell me who do you want to be with, and how do you want it to go )

I really like your writing and i was hoping you could do what you did with lxc jgy and nhs and i was wondering if you could do that with the juniors thx
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
OHMYGOSH, so many people are requesting UWU. ❤️ When I said the Juniors get the most love around here, I wasn't joking! (which of course is great, our lovely boys deserve the love) A day after making a post about having 3 similar asks, appeared a wild 4th one, so here we are, killing 4 birds with one stone! From what I recall, the boys are 16 (legal in my country) but for the sake of being politically accurate and tastefully uncreepy, I'll still age them up ~ This was quite difficult to write, since I'd never even so much as considered writing anything remotely un-soft for the boys, but I hope you ike it anyways. Somehow the softest hcs turned out to be for XXC too 🤣
Enjoy the spice, my lovelies! ❤️
P.S. Thank you all for being so kind, you guys make writing a true pleasure ✌️
P.P.S I know it took me forever to write this! i want to apologise for that, since university started, writing has become a luxury and quite frankly, writing nsfw for the juniors was nearly impossible to do 😵 Await more content in the *hopefully* near future.
Jin Ling
My gosh, getting him to undress would be difficult. For real, even after a thousand years of being in a relationship with you, he'd still be embarrassed when it comes to physical touch of any sort. Not to say he wouldn't want it, he just has to go through a semi-tsundere mini meltdown first. But worry not, it would only take him a minute to get over it.
Jin Ling? More like Jin Long. (I'm sorry) He may not be the girthiest of them all, but let me tell you - he takes great pride in his length.
He may act tough and macho, but underneath all that hot-headedness is somebody, who absolutely loves being coddled. More often than not, he'd let you take over the reigns, but believe me he won't go down without a fight. He is the absolute dictionary definition of a bratty bottom. In fact he the brattiest bottom. You want him to undress? Undress him yourself if you're so eager. But in reality, he'd be ready to indulge you in absolutely everything you wish.
Jin Ling is a sucker for praise. Tell him how good he is, praise him and he'll become putty in your hands. There's nothing he loves more than hearing you moan his name out in utter bliss. Knowing he's the one who brings you so much pleasure really strokes his ego, so to say. With Jin Ling, gentle gestures and kind words can get you very far.
He gets surprisingly dominant and demanding when jealous. The one sure way to get him to pound you into the mattress is making him jealous. It really only takes a random unsuspecting boy to chat you up the wrong way and you'd be in for the dicking of a lifetime. (as an aftermath, following a metric ton of complaining and passive agressive anger) He would absolutely mark up your skin as well - a precaution.
Sometimes, he might MIGHT get jealous of the other Juniors. Maybe you'd spent more time with them, or payed them more attention. Sometimes he'd be at work and miss out. Then, you'd have to remind him, that no matter what, only he gets to see you sprawled on his bed, his name on your lips, and tje sweet smell of sex in the air.
Speaking of work, you would be his best stress relief. After a long day of boring sect business, returning home and getting to ravish you would be his ideal evening, although he would never admit it. During those moments, where exhaustion would get the best of both of you, yet sleep would not come, passionate night of lovemaking would be the remedy for all your problems. And with those burning emotions in his heart, such nights would be the most memorable.
Lan Sizhui
You'd think Lan Sizhui would be the purest, most innocent of the Juniors, and you wouldn't be wrong, but at the same time you wouldn't be right either. Overtime, he'd transform from this sweet, gentle lover, who always makes sure you finish first, to this super experimental, utterly intoxicating beaST, who still makes sure you finish first. The more he gets accustomed to your body, the more confident and daring he'd become.
He's been pretty touch-starved for most of his life, so getting intimate with you would take some readjustment from him. Every single touch would excite him, every gentle moan would make his heart melt. And this sensitivity of his would, in turn, seek intimacy even more. He'd want nothing more than to hold you close and make you shiver in delight, to hear his name escape your lips and have you all to himself.
He'd be absolutely willing to experiment. Anything you'd want to try, he'd love to try with you. Here is a good time to say, he's also a pretty versatile switch. Whether you'd want to set your own pace and ride him to oblivion, or let him tie you up and make you see stars all depends on your mood. He loves it all and is a natural in both.
In fact, having you tied up with his ribbon (seems it runs in the family) is one of his favourite sights. To him it is so beautiful and delicate, yet at the same time it's his way of being possessive, of showing the world that you are his lover, that you belong to each other.
This boy has STAMINA. We all know the Lans are a force to be reckoned with, that underneath that sophisticated demeanor, polite gestures and snow white robes there is pure strength, acquired over years of training. That strength allows Sizhui to last for ROUNDS. If you're lucky enough (and away from Gusu) he could go nearly all night long with little effort.
One thing you found out completely by accident was his love for bitemarks..on himself. As long as he could hide them with ease, the moment he feels teeth on his skin, it's game over. And he wouldn't verbally admit it, but the sounds he'd make and how he'd move to give you more access to his skin is a perfect enough sign.
He isn't too rough per se and would much prefer lovemaking over straight up fucking, so quickies aren't all that common. He wants to take his time with you and explore your body. He'd nearly always rather wait until the bed at home is an option.
In general, sex with a Lan is like sex with an elf - beautiful, breathtaking, memorable. Lan Sizhui is no exception, though he'd go to great lengths for you. After all, there's nothing better than seeing you fucked out, drowning in pleasure.
Lan Jingyi
This boy, my gosh, this boy. Out of all the Juniors, this boy is the most dominant one. And when I say dominant, I mean he is the only one, who comes with all the jazz - bondage, teasing, roleplay, you name it - he'll do it. He is lowkey the kinkiest, who'll do nearly anything just to get you off. And honestly, he takes great pride in that.
His sex drive is that of a goddamn rabbit. There is rarely a moment he wouldn't want to be buried between your legs. His motto is "the more the wetter better". For that reason, being away from you for long is his worst nightmare. Not being able to hold you? To kiss you? To make love to you? Blasphemous. So, the moment you two see each other, after some time of being away, he'd be all over you. Of course, sex is far from being the only thing on his mind, but it it's a giant plus, which he wouldn't want to miss.
Lan Jingyi is a sucker for legs, no matter what length, especially thighs. He loves feeling you wrap your legs around him, or squeeze his head between your thighs. He is a firm believer, that this is the best way to go. Nine times out of ten, whenever you two are making out, his hands would be all over your legs. He just can't help himself.
Out of all the juniors, since he is the most experimental, so with some coaxing he might agree to a threesome. Of course, that would be much later in your relationship, when your mutual trust is hard as a rock. (and not only that) Though, he'd want to pick the 3rd person involved! (most likely Sizhui)
He would absolutely introduce food in bed. Actually, that would happen completely accidentally. It would all start with a handful of loquats, which you'd bring to him while away on a trip together. You'd feed each other the lush fruits between heated kisses, enjoying each other's company and he'd realize, that he could combine 2 of his favourite things - you and food. From that moment on, he'd try out all kinds of food - from sweet to salty, deserts, fruits and everything in between.
He would absolutely want to get you off somewhere in Gusu. The very idea of doing something so dirty and profane at a place with so many strict rules would turn him on to no end. And the thrill of potentially getting caught would be like a catalyst to him. The library pavillion? The cold springs? Just let it be in Gusu. His own chambers just aren't satisfying enough, they aren't risky enough.
He would quickly get addicted to you and your body, and when that happens - there is just no going back. Though I doubt you'd want to.
Ouyang Zizhen
Ouyang Zizhen is quite the catch through and through. There is nobody quite as cheeky as this man right here. As the proud, versatile, daredevil-esque boy that he is, he would love to tease the everloving god out of you in every single way possible. But the moment you tease him back, he'd be in shambles. He would totally sneak inappropriate touches whenever in public, but run a hand up his leg under the table while having dinner, or perhaps a friendly get-together, and suddenly his cheeks would go beet red and he'd go through a mini existential crisis.
Your long, heated nights together would become his reckoning. He'd never truly admit it, but goddamn, he'd become so addicted, to the feeling, the excitement. Especially when it comes to having sex in public.
Speaking of, while he wouldn't openly talk about your adventures in bed, he'd absolutely drop little hints about it in piblic, whenever you're freshly fucked and easy to tease. Intentionally letting himself look more disheveled than usual, pointing out any "little marks" showing on your skin and of course - that knowing smirk of his. And believe me, he fully expects payback.
The other member who might, MIGHT agree to a threesome would be Ouyang Zizhen. He is a curious man, who would like to try anything you have to offer, though jealousy could be a side effect. He'd want to have a say in who'd be the 3rd person. And while having two women succumb to his every beg and call is a very well-hidden desire of his, at this point he is so invested and in love with you, that such thoughts are out of the question.
The one thing that gets him riled up in bed is wax play. What started as "lighting a candle to set the mood right" ended up being one of the most passionate, lust-ridden, nights of his life. He loves how wax drips down on your skin, peeling off of your every curve. He'd get different kinds of candles, with all kinds of fancy textures amd smells, just to watch the expensive wax drip all over you.
Teasing is his go-to. He is a master of teasing. And his specialty is edging. He could prolong your orgasm, get you to practically beg for release, all while he's hard as a rock and still keep edging you. And his mouth is his secret weapon.
He'd learn how to play your body like a violin, all to leave you begging for more. He could go on for hours. And he would. Because of that, the orgasms would be godly. And he takes great pride in that as well.
Xiao Xingchen
This man is the dictionary definition of soft. His kisses are sweet, his touches are caring and his sex is phenomenally passionate. Intimacy is important to him, since he hasn't had the chance and desire to reveal himself before many people. (except you, that is.) No, he isn't just a soft lover. He is THE soft lover.
He is the king of love-making. To him, your pleasure comes first and there is nothing he loves more, than to hold you close and feel your body on his.
He generally prefers to bottom and leave the reigns in your hands, so he could just hold you close and enjoy your body to its fullest, but occasionally he'd absolutely be down to switch it up and spend hours loving you deep into the night. (his words, not mine) Knowing you are there, on top of him, riding him into oblivion, he'd almost wish he could see you. But then, he'd run his hands down your body, hear your angelic voice and immediately lose his mind into pleasure once more.
Lovemaking is his absolute specialty and gentle passion is HIGHKEY his forté. Each sweet touch of his, every choked breath, every heated kiss is so full of love and desire, you could drown in it. He wears his heart on his sleeve and whenever you end up tangled in the sheets, he pours all of his emotions into bringing you ecstasy.
He is extremely touchy, since that is his way of seeing you. He loves to just glide his hands over your smooth skin, exploring every curve, enjoying the warmth of your body against his. His fingers are long and nimble, so he uses them to his advantage. And somehow, every time he touches you, he finds something new to love about you. Because of that, being tied up is a little specific with him. He would let you do it, but only occasionally, since that would leave him completely at your mercy WITHOUT being able to feel you.
He is absolutely a fan of boobs. Big, small, size has never mattered. He loves the warmth, the softness and the fact, that whenever he lays his head on your chest, he can hear your heartbeat.
Whisper in his ear amd he's a second away from breaking. Moan his name and he's a goner. His ears are pretty sensitive, so hearing your voice and feeling your breath would turn him rock hard in record time. Call it a voice kink, call it obsession, whatever it is, it's the surest way to make him nearly beg for your touch.
Xiao Xingxhen is a gentle, yet madly passionate lover, who is ready to give you the stars. And once you get undressed for the first time, he'd find himself so utterly in love with you, he'd get nearly obsessed. And while extremities are not his thing, it wouldn't be uncommon for him to gently lead you away to your shared bed, whenever out on a stroll, just to undress you and kiss your breath away.
Thank you for reading~

What their drunk confessions are like (Pt5)
A/N: Part 5 yay! Hope you enjoy!
Lan SizHui:
Just like XXC, Lan Sizhui is an angel
So he also probably didn't get drunk on purpose
And even when he was drunk, you probably couldn't even tell
It was one warm night in Gusu
After a long harrowing night hunt with the juniors, everyone had decided to stay one night in Gusu to recuperate
So to celebrate the end of the night hunt, the juniors decided to have drinks (even though it is illegal in cloud recesses, Jingyi was able to convince sizhui)
You were a junior as well, from the C/N clan
You were really close with the junior quartet (yes, Zizhen too give my boy some love), having befriended them during the many inter clan night hunts
You were closest with Zizhen and Jingyi, since all three of you were closest since you shared the same sense of humour and all enjoyed playing around the most
SizHui and Jin Ling were slightly more of a mystery to you
Jin Ling was just kinda bratty, and although you two were close friends, you also argued a lot
And SizHui generally didn't speak to you
Not because he didn't like you, no, it was because he liked you a little too much
He had a huge crush on you
And so, he never really knew how to approach you, let alone ask you to court him
So being drunk was the perfect excuse
The five of you had gotten some emperors smile and were now drinking it in a common room you had rented
And now you were surrounded by four drunk boys
Jin Ling and Jingyi were definitely very drunk, arguing over some pointless thing
Zizhen was in a corner, crying his eyes out (he was 100% drunk as well)
And Sizhui sat next to you, downing his fifth of sixth  cup, nothing but slight red cheeks to show his drunkenness
You had only had a single cup, since you didn't really like the taste
Whenever you and Sizhui were alone together, you would generally be in comfortable silence
Now that he was drunk however...
“Ah-Y/N,” he started, soft and gentle voice slightly wavering, “We are friends aren't we?”
You looked at him puzzledly, before nodding
“Well, I-”
Whatever he’d been about to say was cut off by a loud Jingyi, as he sat down right between the two of you, effectively separating you
Then he turned to Sizhui and said
“Are you finally gonna ask her to court you?” Then with a huge shit eating grin he added
“Zizhen, Jin Ling! Sizhui is asking Ah-Y/N to court him!”
Jin Ling turned to them, but made no move to come over
Zizhen however immediately smiled and came over to where you were sitting
“Really? I knew you wanted to Sizhui, but I never thought you’d do it so soon!” he exclaimed, coming to sit with them as well
By now Sizhui’s face had reddened so much he practically looked like a tomato
You tried to catch his eye but he seemed to be doing everything in his power to not look at you
He was really embarrassed and although he had been meaning to ask you, this was not how he had meant to go by it
“Well? Are you gonna ask her or not?” Zizhen mumbled, clearly impatient
Sizhui looked like he was about to implode
You knew you had to do something to save your poor friend
And so you did
“If Sizhui wants to ask me something, he can do it whenever he wants to. Stop pressuring him”
You could see Sizhui relax, even if it was only a bit
Jingyi and Zizhen however in turns annoyed and let down
“Fine then... Come on Zizhen.” Jingyi muttered, getting up along with Zizhen and going to whisper to each other on the far end of the room
Which left you and Sizhui  alone
The comfortable silence that you had was now long gone
Somehow, Sizhui was the first to break the silence
“I’m sorry I put you in an uncomfortable position...” he said softy, almost a whisper
“Nonono! It’s okay!” You you scrambled to say, tripping over your words in a rush to get them out
Only then did he truly look at you, and you could see something a little but like hope in his eyes
“Was Jingyi telling the truth or...” you muttered, unsure if you should continue the topic
Sizhui looked away, blushing more now, but he managed to nod all the same
And that was all the confirmation you needed
Since he wasn't looking at you however, you had to grab his hand to get his attention
“I would like that. To, um, c-court y-you i mean. I would like that a lot...” You mumbled
Now it was your turn to blush
But the smile that appeared on his face after he’d understood what you’d said was so bright that you almost entirely forgot your embarrassment
You just looked at each other, sharing a tender moment, until
“FINALLY!”
Jingyi and Zizhen (and even Jin Ling) congratulated you on your courtship for the next hour, until they all passed out from drunkenness, and you and Sizhui were finally able to share your first kiss
Thank you for reading!

Injury caused love?
Tumblr media
Requested by anonymous: hi hi lovie!! i love your writings so much!! they are so freaking good!! could i make request please? can i request a jiang cheng x fem!reader who’s a healer from the lan clan? she mainly is brought along on most missions, acting as the head doctor/healer of most of the clans; almost as good as wen qing. reader interacts with jiang cheng a lot bc jin ling is always getting injured. reader has the motherly/older-sister vibe; always taking care and letting some of the students (mostly sizhui and jingyi) sneak into their infirmary at night for snacks or comfort. jiang cheng and reader? OBLIVIOUS HOPELESS ROMANTIC AND TSUNDERE. nie huaisang, lan xichen, jin guangyao, and wangxian all bully them for their stupidity </3 even the juniors try getting them together,,, jin ling accidentally calls the reader auntie in front of jiang cheng,,, so soft for jiang cheng…i love
Pairing: Jiang Cheng x fem!reader
Word Count: 2706 words
Warnings: none
A/N they don't get together in the end, if you want I'll make a part 2 where they get together, but only after I've finished all other requests :)
Tumblr media
You stared at the boys in front of you, trying to wrap your head around the story they just told. Mostly you were confused at how Jin Ling happened to be the victim since the boy was usually the one to not get injured. Nonetheless, you quickly told them to sit down before grabbing everything.
"Alright. Sizhui, hold this on his arm and put a lot of pressure on it. I have to get some herbs first, I'll be back in a few minutes." You said as you handed the towel to Sizhui before walking out of the room.
You looked through your stash, not much further from your practice and got the necessary herbs before walking back too your practice, only to be stopped halfway by Xichen, Mingjue and Jiang Cheng.
"Clan leaders." You bowed your head at them and Xichen gave you a warm smile.
"This is (y/n), she's our most skilled healer." He explained to the other two, who nodded in response.
"I apologize, but I have to goo back to my practice. Jin Ling got hurt." You said, the last part a bit more to Jiang Cheng. Jiang Cheng didn't seem to react at first, but it seemed to hit him afterwards at what you said.
"Jin Ling got hurt?" "Yes, I don't remember the whole story though. Something happened with a sword and a cliff, I couldn't follow well." You explained before quickly bowing and running off.
You entered your practice again, staring at the boys who were eating snacks.
"You stole my food stock..." You mumbled and Jingyi smiled happily.
"You're lucky I like you guys." You commented to which they all smiled brightly (except for Jin Ling, who was still in pain of course). You stepped closer to Jin Ling and crouched in front of him as you started to inspect and treat the wound quickly.
"Will it scar?" Jingyi asked and you nodded shortly as you continued to wrap the bandage around his arm.
"Definitely. You should start making up a story to tell to others." You joked as you looked up to Jin Ling.
"Battled a giant demon dog!" Jingyi shouts and you can't help but laugh.
"Those don't walk around anymore, a-Yi." "But it'd be awesome!" He commented again before taking a bite of his (your) food. You rolled your eyes as you finished up the bandaging before getting up.
"How about a wolf instead?" You commented as you started to wash your hands in the bowl of water while listening to Jingyi whine. You could hear Jin Ling cuss at Jingyi while Zizhen just laughed and you saw Sizhui shake his head with a smile.
"Don't come back here too often." You said with a smile as you put everything away again.
"Now, out." You said with a smile, pointing at the door. They all quickly ran out, Jingyi managing to grab some food before leaving.
Despite that, they somehow managed to land in your practice every week. It was mostly Jin Ling who got hurt and you learned that Jin Ling was extremely unlucky and unhandy. A combination that usually doesn't go well. You spend way more time with the junior quartet, because they also came by just to hide from lessons or just to get some snacks (which you now bought double from what you usually bought).
Having Jin Ling in your practice constantly also meant that Jiang Cheng came over more often, usually to bring Jin Ling home/to his room since Jin Ling always fell asleep at the practice. Sometimes, he stayed a bit longer and you got to talk to him a bit more.
You then, of course, started to develop a crush on the man.
You were sure that it was obvious, the snickering of Jingyi said enough. Even Sizhui couldn't help but smile every time Jingyi was snickering while Zizhen tried to make them quiet down.
But of course, the visits didn't stop. Jin Ling was back again every week, joined by his friends of course. But this week was the worst.
Jin Ling was laying on the bed, leg propped up as you tried to stop the bleeding while trying to talk to Sizhui about what had happened.
"We were practicing and the sword broke." Sizhui explained and you turned your head while holding pressure on the leg.
"You got a sword in his leg?" You asked and Sizhui nodded before you turned back to Jin Ling.
"Ever heard of practice sword? You know, the wooden one." You said and he looked away in shame, not answering the sarcastic remark. You started to remove the pressure before getting a needle.
"Sizhui, go get his uncle." You said as you started to stitch the wound, after putting a cloth in Jin Ling's mouth so he wouldn't break his teeth. It took awhile and Jin Ling had passed out from the pain earlier, you couldn't blame the poor boy. Jiang Cheng arrived just as you finished the stitching, eyes cast on the cut as well as all the blood on your hands.
"Good, you're here." You said as you got up, cleaning your hands once more in the basin of water, which had already turned red. Once your hands were clean, you took bandages from the table and started to wrap it around his leg.
"He won't be able to walk for awhile, so please make sure he doesn't. I know how stubborn your family can get. He'll also need to take certain medicines every 2 hours or so for 3 to 4 days." You said before glancing at Jiang Cheng, who was still staring at his nephew and you could spot worry in his eyes.
"He's fine, don't worry too much. You're free to stay until he wakes up." You got up again when you finished wrapping Jin Ling's leg and Jiang Cheng sat down near the bed, eyes now cast towards the broken sword pieces that you had pulled out of the wound.
"What happened?" "The sword broke and hit his leg. These boys don't seem to know the consequences of practicing with actual swords." You replied with a chuckle as you grabbed some tea, offering a cup to Jiang Cheng who gratefully accepted it.
"Is getting hurt also something that runs in your family?" You asked and he looked up, shrugging softly.
"I mean, you got hurt pretty often as well. My teacher healed you quite often." You joked and you could see the wheels turning in his head before it seemed to click.
"You were that girl always watching from the side?" He asked and you nodded, smiling brightly at the thought that he remembered you. You continued to talk and for the first time, he actually tried to hold up the conversation as well.
From then on, everything seemed to take a turn.
Jiang Cheng would greet you if he saw you and sometimes he would converse in conversation , but those conversations weren't very long most of the time. Sometimes his friends (especially Huaisang and Wuxian) were with him and they often gave you a smile, but you could see the twinkle in their eyes. Sometimes the other leaders were with him, Xichen and Guangyao often gave you a sweet smiles, and you couldn't help but feel a bit uneasy every time. Even their smile seemed to hide a certain mischief. You were well aware that they all knew by now, after all Wangji's blunt comments about 'you staring at Jiang Cheng like a puppy in love' (and Wuxian and Huaisang's snickering after said comment) usually did the trick.
Now, they would always approach you while dragging Jiang Cheng behind them. They would start a conversation, trying to get Jiang Cheng to join the conversation at all cost while trying to not make it obvious (and failing miserably in your opinion). Jiang Cheng didn't seem to notice however and just curtly answered the questions thrown his way. He didn't seem particularly happy when he was near you, frown permanently shown on his face as he stood near you as he waited to leave the conversation. It was something you were quite annoyed by. Not because of him, but rather the fact that he was forced to meet you by his friends. So you asked them to stop and they did, much to their annoyance.
But you did see him a few more times again, mostly for Jin Ling's checkups. He'd just sit in the corner, staring as you cleaned his nephew's wound.
"A-jiě?" Jin Ling spoke in a whisper and you glanced up to him, giving him a small nod.
"What is it?" You whispered back and he glanced at his uncle before getting a bit closer to you.
"Uncle is staring at you..." "Don't be ridiculous A-Ling." You said, flicking his forehead softly with a disapproving chuckle before continuing to clean his wound. The boy couldn't help but smile a bit, something you couldn't help but smile in return to. Seeing the boy smile was still something new and it didn't happen that often, so you were always happy when you did see him smile.
"I'm sure about it, a-jiě. He has that look in his eyes." Jin Ling said and you looked up again, hands freezing in place before you took a glance at Jiang Cheng as well. His gaze was focused to the two of you, but you suddenly did notice his eyes shifting to you every few seconds as they lingered on your form.
"Well, a-Ling. You might be right for once." You commented, a small smirk appearing on your face to which Jin Ling smiled again.
When you finished cleaning and rebandaging Jin Ling's leg, you asked Jiang Cheng to wait for a second while Jin Ling limped out.
"You know, Jin Ling told me something." You said and he looked at you in confusion, waiting for you to continue.
"He said you were staring at me. I don't think so.... Unless you were?" You teased, eyes moving to his figure and smiling slightly when you noticed how his ears had turned red slightly as he stared in front of him.
"I'll see you later, I have to collect some stuff." You said before walking off, leaving the man standing in front of your practice.
You didn't see him for a few days after that and you couldn't help but feel a bit weird about it. Nonetheless, you continued with your routines. Taking care of some of the younger disciplines, clean your practice and getting ready to have your practice raided by the junior quartet. The food that you had gotten was gone by the end, most of it by Jingyi, and that was even after you bought extra.
"I just went to the market and you already ate all of it?" You asked as you looked in the cabinet and Jingyi gave a cheeky smile as he ate the last candy, happily eating it.
"A-jiě, when are you and clan leader Jiang getting together?" He then asked, receiving a shove from Jin Ling before looking at Sizhui for help as he tried to block Jin Ling's attacks.
"A-Ling!" The boys paused and you sighed.
"If you're going to hit him, do it where no one sees." You commented and you saw betrayal flash in Jingyi's eyes while Jin Ling just smirked before he started pocking the elder in the ribs. You just shook your head at the two before continuing your stitching on Jin Ling's robe. Then you could suddenly hear shouting and frowned, laying down your work and peaking your head out of the door. You could see Wuxian walking around, Jiang Cheng hot on his heels with an annoyed look. You were then pulled back by Jin Ling.
"Don't tell them we're here..." He begged and you looked at them, all a bit afraid of the consequences of sneaking out, and you scoffed with a smile before nodding and walking out of the practice.
"What's wrong with you two?" You asked as you looked at both men, but only Wuxian stared your way.
"Have you seen Sizhui? Or the others?" He asked and you could hear he was quite concerned.
"Why, what happened?" You returned and Jiang Cheng stepped forward.
"Some disciplines say that they saw them being dragged off and Wuxian is paranoid." He said, receiving a glare from the other (which Jiang Cheng gladly returned).
"I'm sure they're fine, a-Xian." You said and he huffed.
"You two should get married, makes bullying me much easier." He grumbled and you rolled your eyes with a laugh while Jiang Cheng just rolled his eyes.
"Very funny. You're just not thinking rationally. We both just acknowledge that." Jiang Cheng said and Wuxian just huffed again.
"You two fit each other." And then he just walked off, leaving you and Jiang Cheng alone. You looked at him and found him already looking your way, ears red once more.
"Don't be too hard on him, he's just worried." You said and Jiang Cheng nodded shortly.
"Are you not?" "Jin Ling can defend himself, he'll be fine." He answered curtly and you flicked his head harshly, making the man flinch before looking at you in shock.
"That's your nephew, at least act like you care." You commented angrily before walking back to your practice, seeing 4 pair of eyes stare at you intently.
"What?" You asked and Jin Ling spoke up first.
"You and uncle sound like a married couple..." He said and you felt your face heat up at the comment. But then you saw the terror in their eyes and turned your head, Jiang Cheng standing in the doorway with a stoic expression.
"We'll be on our way then..." Sizhui commented before dragging the other 3 with him and past Jiang Cheng quickly before they all broke into a sprint.
"Bye, auntie." Jin Ling shouted and you saw Jiang Cheng frown as he watched his nephew run out with a smile before he turned back to you.
"You lied about seeing them." "I never said whether I saw them or not nor did anyone give me the chance to say it." You said as you sat down, grabbing Jin Ling's robe up again.
"Is that Jin Ling's?" "Yes, it is. He tripped again and it ripped, so I'm stitching it. You should buy him some new clothes, some have over 20 stitch-spots. I'm losing all my thread on these, I'm tempted to use a different color to make it noticeable." You joked and Jiang Cheng rolled his eyes again, grumbling something under his breath.
"What are you grumbling about? Asking yourself how you'd fallen for me?" You teased, watching his ears turn red again and you smiled again while looking back at the stitching. You looked up when he stayed quiet, seeing that the blush had reached his face and you frowned.
"You alright there?" You asked and he snapped out his trance and nodded coldly before he turned to leave.
"You're leaving?" You asked and he turned his head around to face you. "I mean, it's pretty boring here and you chased my previous company away before I could finish..." You said and you saw him sigh again before he sat on a chair a bit further from you. Even with his annoyed expression, you couldn't help but smile that he took your joke serious enough to stay. You continued your work, glancing at him ever so often as you tried to talk to him (not to much avail). You stopped, however, when you noticed that his eyes were closed and his head was falling down ever so often before he straightened himself up. You smiled and stood up, walking his way and crouching down before gently poking his shoulder. He woke up in and instant and you flinched with his sudden movement, surprised at how close his face was to yours now.
"You should go to your room to sleep, otherwise your neck will hurt." You said as you stood up again, pulling him up with you. It was clear that he was still somewhat sleepy, eyes almost threatening to fall shut again.
"Come one, get out." You laughed and he finally looked awake at the statement, blinking a few times before looking at you.
"I apologize-" "Ah, stop it. I invited you in, no need to be so formal." You interrupted him, which startled him slightly before he simply shut his mouth.
"Feel free to drop by again." You said and he nodded, but you stopped him just before he left.
"And I don't mean with Jin Ling."

MDZS Modern AU Fic Tips (Names & Stuff)
So I asked a while back if anyone was interested in some fic tips for writing Chinese modern AUs, and y’all seemed enthusiastic. But...when I tried putting it all in a single post it got...really...really long...
So I split them into a bunch of posts (Yes I copy-pasted this intro on all of them because I’m lazy)! Here are the links:
Names & Stuff (You are here)
Modern Chinese Cultural Stuff
Superstitions & Beliefs
Festivals
Living in China
Anyways, these are based off my experiences living in Singapore and China, and I hope these posts are helpful. On to it.
Names & Stuff
Always try to use at least two character-names (at least two syllables). Go with “A-Yuan”, “WuXian”, “Jiang Cheng”, and not things like “Yuan”, “Wei”, “Cheng”. It’s weird. Please don’t. I have literally never met a Chinese person with a single-character name in my entire life.
Please don’t use “Sanren” as a surname. It’s a descriptive title that isn’t in use anymore. Make up a family name for CangeSe Sanren and BaoShan Sanren if they’re modern people in your fic. (Though if BaoShan Sanren is still immortal in your fic you can use it.)
“OuYang” is OuYang ZiZhen’s surname. Two-character family names are pretty uncommon, especially in modern times, but they exist. I’m mentioning it cuz I was asked about it a “few” times lol.
On the courtesy VS birth names thing, try to pick one or the other for general use (preferably birth names since they actually sound like names you would give babies lol), or simply make your modern AU have courtesy names as a thing. Personally though, I think it’s not really a big deal as long as the audience knows who you’re talking about. Most fic readers don’t seem to care too much.
It’s perfectly normal for Chinese people nowadays to refer to each other without the family name if they’re acquainted with each other, so “HuaiSang”, “WangJi” etc is fine. If they’re strangers though, use full names. (Friendly parties sometimes still use full names to be polite though. Classmates & colleagues might use full names.)
I would still recommend you use the character’s full names when it’s the narrator talking, unless your fic is in first person
Try not to use “Shijie” or “Shixiong” or anything like that in a modern AU. Stick to “jiejie / a-jie”, “gege / ge / da-ge”, or just use “brother/sister” etc. I’d also recommend using “gege” when Lan Zhan is referring to Lan XiChen, simply because it’s more normal nowadays, but you can use “xiong-zhang” if you want to show their family’s strict & traditional formalities. Assuming you’re using pinyin in the fic.
On a related note, “Da-ge” (Eldest Brother) / “Er-ge” (Second Brother) etc is usually only used when there’s more than one brother involved within the family. However, you can refer to a non-family member as “Da-ge” on his own. Same thing with “Da jie” (Eldest sister).
BTW, as far as I know, (Mandarin) Chinese doesn’t really have a casual gender-neutral word for a single sibling. So if you have characters who use gender-neutral terms just stick with writing it all in English (or whatever language your fic is in). That being said, keep in mind that I am (probably) a cis person who doesn’t live in China full time, so there may be some Chinese gender-neutral terminology I’m not aware of and/or can’t find because I don’t actually go on Chinese social media much. :X
Keep in mind that if you use pinyin in your fic, don’t type “Miss/Ms” as “xiao jie” in casual settings with women the characters don’t know. While it’s not TECHNICALLY an incorrect translation, in some parts of China, calling a stranger-woman “xiao jie” is sort of slang-speak for calling her a prostitute in a derogatory manner (at worse). For example, if you call for a waitress by saying “xiao jie”, it CAN be considered really rude for this reason. There are acceptable and polite ways to use “xiao jie”, but honestly please just use the English “Miss/Ms” to be safe

right as rain - junior quartet hcs
how you would take care of the juniors when they’re feeling a bit under the weather
✧༺♥༻∞ ∞༺♥༻✧
Lan Sizhui
the thermometer beeps,
and you’re quick to take it right out of Sizhui’s hands before he can try and hide it or fake some sort of temperature
because he’s been so good at lying about his health lately
you’re not surprised at the high temperature marked on the device, more so disappointed
because this dude
was trying to go to classes with a 101 degree (38.3 Celsius) fever
“y/n,”
“don’t even move, i’m getting a cold towel,” you tell him
you’re a voice of finality and logic
because Sizhui for all of his smarts, doesn’t ever spare any thought for himself
and that usually led to either a mental break down or his body giving up on him
and it was usually the latter,
Sizhui sighs into the pillows that he’s propped against, playing with the edge of the sheets as you come back with a towel and a basin of what looks to be cold water,
“lie down, try to get some sleep,” your voice has less of the edge that it had before, worry making your words lighter, more amicable
“i just need to write this one thing for class-”
“Sizhui,” you sigh out to him, turning away from wringing the towel to look at him,
“you’re sick, even though your mind is made of steel, your body isn’t. so give yourself a break, please,” you plead to him, eyes wide
Sizhui stares at you, takes in a deep breath,
really can’t say no, especially when you take his hand into yours
and when he lets you help him lay down, and feel the coolness of the towel you drape over his forehead soothe him,
he’s off to dreamland before he even knows it
it’ll be a speedy recovery
of course, since you’re by his side
✧༺♥༻∞ ∞༺♥༻✧
Lan Jingyi
“Jingyi?” you ask in the empty apartment hallway, when you hear a particularly loud sound
Jingyi had always been known for his loud entrances,
but this was just noise
you wipe your hands on your apron and come out to the foyer
in the dim lights there, first you see the haphazardly dropped backpack by the shoe rack
then you see Jingyi heavily leaned against the wall,
his head in his hand,
“Jingyi,” you breathe his name, rushing over to his side,
“just felt dizzy,” you manage to hear, before Jingyi slides even further down on the wall
you’re quick to grab onto him, helping him regain his balance
this close you can feel how warm he is
with one arm wrapped around him you use the other to feel his forehead
and just as you expected,
“let’s get you to bed,” you say, slowly guiding him to his bedroom
and even though all Jingyi wants to do is lie in bed and forget the world, that won’t do,
you help him get into cleaner clothes, managing to help him wash his face when he’s changed and hustling him into bed
it doesn’t take long for sleep to claim him
and when he wakes up to your own sleeping form near his bedside
he’s more touched than he can say
✧༺♥༻∞ ∞༺♥༻✧
Jin Ling
“do you not have an appetite?”
Jin Ling looks up at your question, mildly confused, mostly dazed
“you haven’t eaten anything yet,” you elaborate,
and it’s from your comment that Jin Ling realizes that he’d been picking at his food more than actually tasting anything
and really, it’s been hard to keep any food down these past few hours
it seems only warm drinks calm his stomach
“had a big breakfast,” Jin Ling deters and you huff at him,
“yea i saw the big slice of toast you had this morning,” you tease him, but you can’t help but be slightly worried
Jin Ling simply huffs at you,
though you know well that he’s actually playing off how bad he actually feels
like he’s not even teasing you back like he normally would have
“i’ll make a really good broth later, when you come back to the dorms? does that sound okay?” you ask
and even though you know that Jin Ling wouldn’t (doesn’t) talk about how ill he feels
he’s glad that he has someone like you who can read him like a book
he nods
manages a small smile at you
✧༺♥༻∞ ∞༺♥༻✧
Ouyang Zizhen
Zizhen opens his eyes, the thundering of his head dying down as the world comes into focus
you’re the first person that he sees,
“how do you feel?”
your voice sounds a bit muffled, almost as if underwater at first
but then Zizhen blinks, focuses on the hold that he has on your hand
and begins to feel normal again
even though he can’t find his voice quite yet, Zizhen does manage a nod and lets you help him sit up
once Zizhen is fully sitting he realizes he’d been at the university infirmary all this time
“you don’t know how scared i was when Jin Ling texted me that you were here,” you tell Zizhen,
from how he’s sitting next to you, you know that your friend isn’t quite out of the woods yet,
you lay a gentle hand on his head to gauge his temperature,
it’s a little warm but not overly hot
and from the furrow that you catch on Zizhe’s face, you know that he must still be feeling the ebbs of his past migraine
you wrap arm around him, guide Zizhen to lean his head against your shoulder, letting him find support there
and with a soft hand you slowly massage up from the back of his neck
Zizhen closes his eyes as he leans into you,
your scent had always been calming
everything about you
had always been the one thing that grounded Zizhen
so just a few moments with you, is already helping him so much
“we can stay like this until you feel better,” you whisper softly against his ear,
and even though Zizhen was feeling a little better
he continues to stay, just like that

I love "touching Lan ribbon" headcanons so much! "Take responsibility" why does it have such LWJ vibes to it? He is a bad (or good...?) influence on LanSiZhui, lmao, scare your crush but like, intriguingly. Anyway, can I ask for headcanons about Ouyang Zizhen and Jin Ling accidently touching the ribbon of their crush from Lan clan? Do they even know what that means, I wonder?... Also, lysm, you seem like such a sweetheart, I usually scared to send requests but with you it's so comfortable, wow
aha hi there!
aha thank you for all of your compliments; i’m so glad that you feel comfortable sending requests here.
i think that everyone’s been quite enjoying those Lan ribbon hcs since this is probably like the third ribbon hc request i’ve gotten aha. i’ll try my best with this one!
cheers~
⭑・゚゚・*:༅。.。༅:*゚:*:✼✿ ✿✼:*゚:༅。.。༅:*・゚゚・⭑
Ouyang Zizhen
Zizhen has this infuriating habit of trying to touch your forehead ribbon
why?
because he likes annoying you
because he’s quite the curious fellow
but it’s all fun in games
you both have been friends for a while now, he knows your (and your clan’s) boundaries
and it’s not like he’d ever actually touch your forehead ribbon...
until he does
and it is barely a graze of his finger upon the cool silver cloud symbol of your ribbon
but you feel it
and the smile is off your face in an instant, pure shock and widened eyes meeting his own large eyes
Zizhen’s own easy laugh mutes itself just as quickly, eyes locked with your own
and there’s a beat of silence
where neither of you say anything
and then it’s a flurry of apologies big and small flying from his mouth
and you’re blinking at him quietly, your brain automatically muting all of his words to hone in on the single fact that the first person to have ever, touched your forehead ribbon
(besides your parents)
was Zizhen
“i honestly wouldn’t mind marrying you now if that is what it has to come down to!”
you tune back into the words that he was saying
and it takes you another second to understand what he means
you eyes find his again, and they’re anxious,
but they’re honest
he was honest to god, taking responsibility, you think with a funny smile
and then
oh my GOD he was taking responsibiilty!
Jin Ling
your forehead ribbon
was crooked
not by much,
but it had been a long day
a long night hunt
a lot of running around
but for whatever reason, your forehead ribbon was tilted ever so slightly lower on one end than another
and perhaps
with the muggy tiredness of night hunt still present in his veins
Jin Ling doesn’t think first (think twice) to just tell you to fix it
rather, while you’re sat next to each other at the camping sight
you leaning on his shoulder, sleepy eyed, practically dozing
(maybe, this is where he got his confidence from, from the small idea that maybe you’d be too sleepy to notice)
he simply leans over
and pushes it back up
he draws his hand back to his lap after he is done,
and no one sees
Jin Ling knows that you are truly asleep, when you don’t even stir
but why
do the tips of his fingers burn,
with the lingering softness of your pastel blue ribbon

Hello! Could I request something for older juniors with a reader who’s polite but kind of isolated and not actually very good with people?
hi hi
okie dokie~
cheers~
**✿❀ ❀✿**
Lan Sizhui
it’s because he knows you, that he does not find much offense to your silence, or your natural preference to solitary
many tend to stay away from you
because although you are polite,
you don’t make too much of an effort to maintain relations
you’ve never believed in short, shallow friendships to pass the time anyways
and that kind of mentality, alongside your serious face and preference for being alone a little (read a lot)
and intimidating for anyone that wanted to get to know you
which was why,
when Lan Sizhui had sat down beside you that one faithful day on your visit to Cloud Recess
you see how different he is from everyone else
polite he was like you, but kind
and undeterred by the cold exterior that you put off
you see that your ever going mentality of ‘waiting for the right friend’ pay off,
when you gain a friend in Sizhui after all
Lan Jingyi
many wear confused faces when they find out that you are friends with Jingyi
that Jingyi would have a friend like you
because, Jingyi, the loudest, most active, childish (even at his late 20s),
the most un-Lan of all Lans cultivators,
has a friend who is the complete opposite
you shy at the thought of loud crowds and bustling commotion
because you’re not quite good with people
sometimes the cues throw you off
and you’ve always been too kind, too polite, to understand or read people for their truest intentions
which is why (in a lot of scenarios) it is easy for you to be taken advantage of
it’s happened so much, you’ve been put off by many people
but
before you could close your heart, your trust, to everyone,
Lan JIngyi slips through the cracks
with his brashness, his loudness (natural, genuine), his raw need to maintain justice
and he stands up for you in ways that no one else does
and he is your friend
the best one yet
Jin Ling
you are an enigma
because you maintain a polite and cool profile, never letting anyone get too close
something that Jin Ling envies and wishes he could pull off
but in the times that you share tea with the young Sect Leader, you reassure him that your personality is definitely only so because you don’t know how to deal with people
to you, being polite was enough
but being personable,
was much harder
however for all of your quietness and tendency to self isolate, Jin Ling still admires you
admires that your quiet loneliness does not deter your strong work ethic, your strive and passion in cultivation
you are focused, a trait maintained well in your solitariness, and precise, as you hone into everything that you do with all of your abilities
Jin Ling knows, he sees how you work
and sure you may not have a lot of friends,
but you have him
and that was enough
(more than enough)
Ouyang Zizhen
perhaps, it had been your rogue cultivator lifestyle that had created this quiet, drawn back persona of yours
you are polite, but you do not maintain many acquaintanceships, let alone deep friendships
which is why
Zizhen feels grateful that you see him as someone worthwhile to have (to keep) in your life
Zizhen feels honored, to be able to sit down and talk to you,
Zizhen feels happy to be able to know you more than the quiet, kept to oneself (isolated), polite cultivator
over a floral toned liquor, you divulge to him one night that you are very bad at keeping friends
because everyone ends up leaving you
and though the liquor drowns out a lot of your memories of that night
Zizhen promises to himself, to you, that he wouldn’t leave you
would never leave you
because when you have him as a friend
you have him as a companion for life

Hi! I would like to request lan sizhui, jingyi, wei wuxian, and zizhen on how would they react to an arranged marriage with the female reader? They know the reader and loce her so when theu gather to meet them in conference hall or whatever they blush red and hide their face with their sleeve? Can you also add the bonding of the reader and the boys? Thx!!
hi hi
i think that this is probably the fifth or sixth version of the arranged marriage au with the juniors that i’ve written, haha
i had promised a previous anon for a fluffier juniors version so i guess here is a little taste of that (for three of the juniors at least)!
enjoy~
‧̍̊˙˚˙ᵕ꒳ᵕ˙˚˙ ˙˚˙ᵕ꒳ᵕ˙˚˙‧̍̊
Lan Sizhui
you both, can’t bring it in yourselves to look at one another
because
a) you’re both super shy
b) and really, you’re each a surprised, embarrassed, mess
because Sizhui and yours relationship
was something
that you never thought would ever bloom
when you both had crossed paths, both trying to pay for the same satchel at a market stand accidentally
and had a funny, embarrassing exchange of giving the satchel back and forth between one another
Sizhui managed to get you to accept it,
and even offered to buy you lunch (as your little acceptance of goods exchange lasted a bit long into the afternoon)
and it wasn’t a date per say, but it’s not like it couldn’t have been
and you share some dumplings together on the side of the road,
chatting to pass the time
with more in common than you realize
but your lunch ends with a smile at your goodbyes and each step that you take home accompanied by bellies warmed with good food
good company
Sizhui didn’t think he’d ever meet you again
but now,
standing in front of him
it seems like he does get the chance to see you again
“i never asked for your name,” Sizhui tells you, eyes bright
you smile back at his comment
and now,
you are finally able to tell him
Lan Jingyi
Jingyi blinks in surprise when you both meet eyes after coming up from your respective bows
it was you,
“you...” Jingyi notes and you blink at him,
for just a small moment you are a bit confused
but then a second later
it all clicks
you widen your eyes, a red blush rising to your cheeks as you’re quick to cover your face
Jingyi in front of you lets out a disbelieving (enamored) laugh
because he had met you,
a few days ago
the most cliche of meetings
where you had fallen into his arms and he had held you there to save you from the impact of the hard ground
and although your meeting with one another had been brief
Jingyi had had a hard time forgetting the warmth of you against his chest, in his arms since that encounter
so he’s grateful, feels lucky and maybe understands fate just a little bit better
now that he’s seeing you here in front of him,
your shy smile when you finally lower your sleeve from your face
makes him think that
perhaps
you haven’t forgotten about him either
Ouayng Zizhen
the tearful goodbye that Zizhen had shared with you yesterday, his everything
long time (as long as young lovers can be) companion
first love,
all come to a halt when you meet eyes with one another in the conference hall
Zizhen had not expected that the person he had been arranged to marry
to be you
and from the way that your eyes widen in recognition
it seemed that you didn’t expect it either
before either of your representative parties and families could say anything,
you both run, gravitate, to one another,
Zizhen embraces you fully when you run into his arms, the tears falling out of his eyes rapidly once again
everyone is surprised
because this was an arranged marriage, yet here you both were
acting like,
you both were in love for ages
but it was never an act for either of you,
and you’re so glad that it doesn’t have to be
when Zizhen finally puts you down, cups your teary face with his warm hands
he leans down to capture your lips
and seals the deal
Wei Wuxian
Wei Wuxian had not taken to this arranged marriage lightly
as someone who wanted to live their life, by their rules
their experiences
their choices
Wei Wuxian did not want to be pinned down by the directions of his elders
how could he?
why did he need to be?
but as one of the Twin Prides of Yunmeng, helping his brother rebuild the foundations of their broken sect brick by demolished brick
this political arrangement
would be for the best
and Wei Wuxian hates that his life must be dictated this way
but he was doing this for something bigger than him
Wei Wuxian looks up when he hears the doors of the hall open,
today he is meeting his cultivation partner to be
alone
for the first time
so when he turns around, Chenqing twirling in his hand, he’s surprised to meet eyes with you
you, the kind young cultivator that he had met on the road, when he had left (escaped) the Burial Mounds for the first time
you, the one that had sheltered him, gave him a place to regain himself, despite the dark spirits clinging to his robes
you,
“y/n...” he had never forgotten your name,
you look at him just as surprised
you smile, glad that he is safe
Wei Wuxian smiles back at you,
glad that he has found you again

ex’s + oh’s - mdzs characters series
how these mdzs characters walked through your life
Ouyang Zizhen 。.。:∞♡*♥
being with Zizhen was one of the more romantic experiences that you’ve had the pleasure of coming across
because, well, Zizhen was (and has) always been known for being absolutely romantic
with him, it was a picturesque kind of relationship,
from the very beginning
a meeting so trope-y (dropping books on the way to your class) that sometimes you forget that it was something that actually happened
into the honey moon phase,
roses on the random day
waiting for each other at the end of class
sharing sweaters,
kisses,
hand holding
being with Zizhen was so soft, so romantic
romance as much as it colors, never quite diminishes reality
so as days and weeks pass
the gestures feel less romantic,
feel a bit more dramatic than the butterflies of before
take up a lot more space than you think is necessary
being with Zizhen made you feel the child-like wonder of love
but also made you realize that it didn’t last
you both break it off on a sunny afternoon at a small coffee shop
and even though you both aren’t together anymore,
you still end on good terms, better terms
that remind you that platonic love, isn’t lacking of romantic love at all
and so with a small wave of goodbye, Zizhen walks out of your life after the 3 months that’d spent in it,
it was lovely,
it was puppy love,
but you were loved nonetheless
