Summary: Your period would come the night you spend the night at your boyfriend Jake’s house.

It wasn’t uncommon for you to ignore the pain that settled at the bottom of your stomach. Unfortunately you’ve gotten accustomed to the pain—the way it rattles through your stomach, reminding you it still there. Had you banged in sick today you wouldn’t been at work today much less Jake’s apartment.

Not because you don’t want the share the same space as him but because what if he’s digusted by you?

What if Jake decides he doesn’t want you sleeping in the same bed as him and makes you pick between the cold floor or your car?— Patrick made you do that every single month.

Not many people think a big muscular man with asshole tendencies like Jake would enjoy spooning in bed. Only person who got the courtesy to enjoy was you— the only other person who had the right to see Jake Seresin and not the brash Hangman.

You.

His face is pushed against your back, his warm hands roaming around your cold stomach. Jake can’t and will never get used to this. The emotional feeling of having someone love him even when he still thinks he’s unworthy of love, the physical feeling of her touch.

At first his eyes are too busy roaming your sleeping body. The way your feet curl up because your too stubborn to admit the fact that you indeed are cold blooded. “Ice Queen”.

Jake’s pulling the blanket up when something wets touches his hand. He can’t just roll over and ignore it, he lets go of you and reaches for his phone.

The bright light shines onto the silk sheet it revealing a dark red stain.

Oh.

This isn’t rocket science, Jake Seresin has been with plenty of women—and he’s spent the last two years with you.

“Doll wake up”. Jake whispers, gently rubbing his fingers onto your back-attempting to wake you up. Jake smiles when he sees your eyebrows perk up— in dissatisfaction.“C’mon Y/n, all I need is a couple of minutes”. He fingers gently graze ovee your face— moving pieces of hair outta of your eyes.

Jake watches as your eyes finally open.You caught the time of the clock 0200— Why Is Jake up so early?, Is there an emergency?

“Jake?”, your voice is filled with worry-“Whats wrong?”.

“Nothing serious honey”Jake’s quick to reassure you.

If its nothing serious then why did he—

Thats when you feel it— and you easily identify the wetness that currently in between your legs.

“Fuck, I’m so sorry Jake” you sniffed—you jumped out of bed—grabbing the already bloody sheet and wrapping it around you. Out of the corner of your blurry eyes, you notice how badly you bled all over the sheets.

“I-I’m sorry Patrick I-I didn’t mean to at all, you have to believe me”, your lips quivered with fear. you remember what happened last time, and the time before that.

“What the fuck is wrong with you Y/n!” Patrick angered stance reminded you of an angry animated character. Fumes running out of his ears and nose—face beat red.

All you can remember is him gripping your wrist. Next thing you knew your were on the ground holding your left cheek.

“You never fucking learn Y/n“Patricks right… you never really did learn.

You can’t count how many times you’ve stood against the shower wall staring at your own blood swirling into the drain.

“Y/n?” your vision is still to blurry to see who’s infront of you. Someones hands are gently tugging at you,“C’mere darling”.

His slips in behind you ignoring the high pressured water. He could care less about his damp clothes, Jake only cared about you.

“I’m so sorry—I’m so sorry” you kept muttering over and over again as you buried your face into Jake’s chest. “Please dont”.

Jake hates how small your voice sounds—he hates how much fear is rolling off of you.

“its okay…its okay” Jake kept whispering into your ear. “Sweetheart I’m not going to hurt you, you know that right?”, he slowly adds—Jakes unsure of how to begin.

How many times did Patrick say that to you?—how many times did he really mean it?

Jakes not Patrick.

“Yeah”, you whispered into his chest. A brief silence is followed before you break it again.“I’ll clean it up you know”.

“Doll”, hes paused his kissing,“If blood scared me I would’ve never joined any sport teams, much less became an aviator”. He presses a kiss into your shoulder—, his voice is so firm and confident.

“Thank you Jake” tears drip down your face.

“Y/n theres no reason for you to be thanking me for the bare minimum”. Water splashes as he moves around to get to your face.“Doll you need them its no different from when I buy you black coffee or how I make you eggs bloody with ketchup”

Tears started to well in your eyes“Awe, Jake thats so sweet”, your hormones are all over the place—“I love being in love with the sweetest man on earth”.

You don’t have to open your eyes to see how red your boyfriend face is–you chuckled lightly at his appearance.

“Whats so funny Doll?” He’s smiling into your head.

“Nothing, i love you”. You insisted cheekily as giggles leave your mouth. “So much”.

For your minecraft turtles, what do you think April would be?

Would she be a normal player, or would she be a mob to? If she's a mob would she be a hostile mob or a passive mob?

I noticed that all the turtles except for Donnie are hostile mobs. With Donnie being a neutral mob.

And what about Splinter? What mob would he be?

ive actually been conflicted ovee what to make April. because her being a normal player would make more narrative sense, but thats not as fun

my other two ideas was to make her either:

a guardian, (pufferfish with lazers) or some other marine animal- simply because Mermaid April!!, and also i wanna see how that creates conflict between her ,Donnie and Mikey (because as an Enderman, Donnie cant touch water, and Mikeys literally partially made out of fire)

or a Witch, which could have more lore applications. and also just... MAGIC!!

and about Donnie being the only neutral mob compared to his brothers, well, he is naturally a lot more aggressive than his origins while hos brothers are a lot more mellow compared to their origins, so it all evens out! (Raph is ESPECIALLY calm compared to his origins lol)

and as for Splinter, im not sure whether i want to change him or not. but if i did, it would either be to a bat (not all that different to a rat) or a brown mooshroom (they turn brown after getting hit hy lightning right? that could have some relation to Charged Creeper Leo i guess)

this was a bit of a ramble lol- im still sorting through ideas for this au.

Hi, sorry for bothering you. I just started playing Life Makeover yesterday. I was wondering if you could explain guilds? I haven't been able to join one, but I don't want to buy/spend coupons to create a guild without knowing what I'm getting into.

I really only know the basics bc i just joined the first english one i could find. As my previous history with archosaurs mmo Dragon Raja...it's honestly probably going to be much easier to join as a member...unless you plan on being very active and having enough members in your own guild. Bc of the real world value...if your guild shuts down via not having funds....well there goes your money.

Once you unlock guilds you want to act pretty fast. As like their other game, they like to auto apply you to a guild after awhile...and unless you want to keep leaving guilds best apply or make one as quickly as possible.

Ive yet to have any issues with my own guild, i do my basic dailies enough that i meet their requirements but every guild is different. Try to find one that suits your needs...some have discords (like mine but i uh didnt join and dont seem like i have to....) or require you to be active enough before they kick you

Now as someone not in a position of guild power...some features are pointless to me. But first!

Members: these are the people in the guild that have access to every feature minus any features locked behind a certain role (like increasing sizes and merging guilds)

Reserve: You are not a full member. You can use the shop, take part in events and use the guild channel. You can support the guils but you wont add to funds. After 72 hours of not being online you will get auto kicked. Once you hit level 25 and earn ovee 90 points in the guild you will auto become a member.

Vacation: you can only use the channel, this is where you go if you're a member with 90 points or more and havent been online in more than 72hrs...

Merge guild: If its like DR then basically if your guild is small and is struggling to meet requirements to keep activity up...you'll be able to merge guilds with another one to help keep your guild going (i dont have access to this so i might be missing something)

Change Post: this just is a list of themes you can change the names of positions to...i assume this is something only you see? But i havent changed it

Inspiration project: those books from dailies go here (the game will let you know you have these ready to be donated with a red dot) this is the easiest way to increase your member points

Welfare...once a week you can claim some rewards based on how well you're doing

Guild shop: you'll get pearls from doing inspo and support....this is one place you'll be able to spend them

This is the other. If you've ever played Shining Nikki its very similar to the guild feature where you can unlock makeup. Some cost gold some cost pearls and they will get more expensive as you go farther. You'll get stat bonuses and every so many levels unlock makeup

Support: honestly the perfect support isnt worth it and costs gems. Three times a day you can support the guild to earn pearls and add guild funds...its mostly for yourself

All of this is for the pres and vice master to use...basically level up each feature i cant say much else since im not either of those roles

Day 28 - 4 weeks in

Today is going a lot better, my intake will be very low but I am making up for the past two days. I just did the maths, to bring my daily total to 1000 per day, I need to get rid off an extra 1922 calories over today and the next few days. The way I do the maths makes it so that I have a average of 1000 max per day to achieve my weight loss goal. If my weight is still off tomorrow, I will take one laxative. Last time I took the minimal amount so it should be ok.

I just did the log for today, no more food (just water) from now on. I ended up having a total of 226. 1922-774= 1148 to loose over the next few days. Today has been a good day :) Today I did the total up for this week. I have officially been doing this for 4 weeks. Over the past 4 weeks I have created a calorie deficit of 30.451. When divided by 7700, that comes out to 3.95 kg. The 0.05 will be accounted for ovee the next few days, it’s the 1148 calories that I have as my current excess.

Apr 2021 Wins

Started typing this on 4th apr lmaooo

1 - went to mcd. bought chicken + rice with the app promo. there’s a staff helping me on the order machine lol i feel badd there’s no need to do thatt. ate my lunchmade by mom at mcd’s muschola and went to sbux bcs its tumbler day. green tea latte w skim milk as usual. sent dr triya’s translation. ecmocard. started rereading goong (AGAIN. i probably have read it like 3 times minimum). still bring some feels

2 - its holiday today. spent almost the whole daylight rereading goong (turns out its pronounce ‘gung’ not ‘gong’ lol ive been wrong all this time) and finished it. the scene where they stare at each other, separated by the castle door, always gets me. got the old ipad charged (the screen are like 30% close to detaching and falling apart) and started AOT

3 - spent the whole day reading AOT. i like it when i have mini purposes in life (eg: finishing a manga series). AOT rly talks a lot about what do you want to do in life, the consequences of your choices and how you have to live with it. i felt triggered in a good way. the characters dont rly judge other’s choices, but they question them. discuss about it. give you some moral push. second gladi today. my vbg was still filpped hhhh. read aot until i felt sleepy and fell asleep. woke up very near subuh and prayed isya. my toxic trait is the horrible self care (and im talking bare minimum lol hehe lmao)

4 - finished aot. Asked irun about some aot explanations and she sent 5 paragraphs in one bubble. Slept. Flavola, kopsus coklat and somay. Also ate japota honey butter. Did 1 long input of ecmocard. Followed baepsae choreo. Moved my body a bit. Wow im not immediately sleeping. Amazing

5 - arrived at harkit 11-ish and went back about 1pm loll. super hungry when im arriving in kalideres. bought tahu colek worth 3000 (i wonder how the seller hears me through my 2 layers of mask), roti sisir and some ice cream in alfamidi. my fitlife protein powder ran out again. its my 2nd already. did some ecmocard, wasted my time after maghrib

6 - woke up late. did not have the mental strength to go to harkit so i decided to just stay home. bought sbux 1L green tea and macchiato. wasted the daylight and finally did some ecmocard in the evening,,,,

7 - off to harkit 7.30-ish pm in the rain. Took some data for ecmocard. Went to salemba to get tabung and surat bebas pustaka. Had breakfast slash lunch first, tried guudfuud (red rice, beef and omega egg). I like that the rice was not too much. Met up w ness ren and talked about isip dilemmas at sky. Afterwards went to flavola. Ordered mie rebus and roasted milk tea cause i somehow feel sooo hungry and in need of calories. It tasted so good, i was sitting in my usual seat facing the window, and the sky was a mixture of blue and grey. Brought croissant and sakura pocky at indomart. Ate the bread immediately after indomie. Went back home. Juan brought tahu gejrot that was delicious and crunchy. Internship files briefing by akis. Fell asleep

8 - woke up. Saw that dr retha was up for interview. Panicked. Thankfully it was at 12. I left home at 9:40 ish and arrived 11:50. Its a long ass way. Turns out i was interviewed with ka agassi. The doctors are so kind. They explained the gist of anesthesiology profession, and how its a choice you make, and its okay as long as you like what you do. Tried halo bowl for lunch. Sous vide chicken, rice, caesar sauce, beef bacon, and the deliciouss butter broccoli. Went back to kalideres and to starbucks. I only spent <2 hrs in there (a waste of money, i know). Bought decaf hazelnut latte (apparently the beans were kenyan something? Medium?) and butter croissant (need to cushion my stomach). Did GCP certification and sent it to the ever so kind mba Ai. Still got energy from the caffeine, did some ecmocard, read quran, read.... Toji fanfic 🤦‍♀️

9 - went to rsf w mom. We took the wrong way and had to take the long way but thank god theres still time to spare. Met dr rara. Some briefing. Went to rscm w agassi, submitted files for ijazah, went back to RSF. Girlll the cost of transport. MRT: 12K. Grab: 16-17k. Thats one way trip. Bought food at rsf canteen. Eocru briefing by the research coordinator. Ward tour w dr retha. Snacked on ovaltine provided by mba ai. Went home after maghrib by tj. Liqo along the way. Glad bersih (came late). Drank macchiato for some strength but still fell asleep quickly.i shouldnt have laid down

10 - kebakaran jenggot in the morning due to green screen positioning. Finally got the appropriate setup (after many fabric tries and cutting my mukena) at 08:30. Finished showering 08:45. Zoom was opened at 9 lmao. Somehow finished before 09:30. Zoompah w mom and dad along side me. After its ovee, some "photoshoot" w fam. At this point i was truly rly sleepy. Took of my makeup. Changed my clothes. And then racil silv dev showed up lol. I got gifts c: and then atikah came. And then i redid my makeup, this time with the help of friends to create fantastic eye make up look (which i can never pull off). Eyebrows by sil, eyeshadow and liner by cheldev lol. Took some photos. Dajen came. Talked. Videocalled w pupuy. A surprise gift from fianti came. And then chel dajen went back at 8. Still cant sleep. Slept at like 11-12

11 - lazed. Woke up, ate pizza (mom bought 2 of phd's 1m pizza) and bakwan, slept again. Matcha latte and ecmocard. Watched a bit of 2nd sinau

12 - off to rsf at 06:20. Arrived 07:15 ish. Lunch was ayam penyet accompanied by snacks that mba ai bought. Off to harkit at 14:05 (bcs my laptop somehow shut down and i lost all the unsubmitted data). And then off to kalideres at 15:30 ish to meet up w clara and search for clothes for almira's wedding. Went to lippo bcs clar saw this dress that kinda looks like the brokat given. We ate at ramen ya. It doesnt rly make you feel full, the filliny sensation was kinda like indomie. Saw that the dress looked different. Ate 1 boba pancake together at banban. Continued on to the tailor in kebon jeruk. The location was in an alley, and it was raining lol. Quoting clara: "the unnecessary struggles". The tailor was quite helpful (and she looks experienced). Arrived at clara's at 8 ish. Picked up by mom with car (it was raining) and arrived at abt 9. Hurriedly showered and tarawih and tidied up AND ITS ONLY 09:45. Its crazy how efficient one use time (and at the same time, how wasteful one can be)

13 - first day of fasting. The morning was spent taking samples. I stupidly took a sample thats not yet labeled im sorry :(((( i felt kinda tired and wanted to give up this. Give up anesthesia. Went back home at 14:00 and its cloudy. The bus was the nicer types and it was COLD. Read quran along the way. Picked up by juan. Opened laptop. And then its iftar time. I was sooo sleey and the tarawih was so long thst i closed my eyes along the way. Fianti called after tarawih, we talked til abt 21:30. And then i fell asleep

14 - went to rscm. Submitted serkom files. Met dr dyah and i hope we could somehow meet her again if we study in fkui again aamiin. Went to rsf by mrt. Arrived in lebak bulus just before it was raining. The bus took a while to arrive (usually theyre there, waiting). Its still raining like crazy so i took grabcar to AR from pesakih (39k). Played with my phone til iftar. Played phone again after tarawih and fell asleep

15 - i felt rlyy lazy and cant bring myself to wake up. Off to rsf at 07:15. There were coordinator ppl. Took sample. It was raining when i went back but i took grabbike from kalideres. Wasted my time and did not do ecmocard

16 - sampling. Snacked on keripik pisang at the room. Went back early at 13:15 ish. Picked up by juan. Sleeeept (and this is before the nightmareish mistake began)

17 - i did a mistake by telling dr retha (who took the sample today) the wrong patient (it switched in my unreliable memory. I feel terrible. Thank god shes quite chill abt it (?). Read jujutsu kaiseeen. Went to flavola. Did 1 ecmocard. Went to bandar jakarta baywalk by motorbike. Spent 135k and was quite full with many varieties. Arrived home at about 20:50. Turns out juan also had bukber with his friends. Phone call with fiiii, talked abt dimrob

18 - lazed all day, read jjk, finished my part of ecmocard (gave genky to ekal cause i was a dumbass at getting data). Ate mom's mentai rice, siomay. Drank green tea latte. Read jjk til 145 (mentok) at night. Proceeds to consume all things jjk lmaoo

19 - we took sooo long to get samples. Finished at 13:00. Went to rm with dr rara. Went back home. Watched the third sinau. Read the IMMACULATE jjk fics by celestialmechanics im IN LOVEEEE with the way s/he writes ughhhh

20 - samples took faster than usual. Mba ai did not came today. Went to RM and did some work there. Off to AR by 15:00. Arrived close to maghrib. Did not do any work afterwards lmao. Did not even wash my face

21 - magang as usual. Note to self: sit on the right side of the bus. Did nothing yesterday. Felt like shit after tarawih (but i showered before maghrib!!)

22 - todays problem was the swab sample not being there even though the staff allegedly already took it. Huft. Took a shower and out on vitacid (i cant remember the kast time i put on vitacid 😳 its probably been... a week or two?

23 - samples finished quite quickly. Already going home at 12. Lazedddd and lazed and lazed. Waited for emir to pick me up so i went to dm. Read an immaculate itadori x megumi fix thats just full of feels. Started demon slayer lets see

24 - literally just laid in bed reading manga and seeing tiktok and slept again and suddenly its 1 am. Showered. Still in a lazy mode. Havent begun clires work. Watched leah's vlog that said "go do things youve been putting off!". Finally finished the third and last video of Sinau Yuk ICU class with dr. Zeta, SpAn lolll even though the actual last class was on 7th apr. iftar was fish and chips and salad yuum

25 - woke up at like 1am since i slept too much yesterday. Ate tan ek tjoan bread and drank sbux matcha latte. Did some intern work. Read a bit of quran. Sahur. Cant even sleep again so i showered. Off with mom and dad (09:30) since dad’s going to get vaccinated at skk migas. Mom drove me to ara’s place (11:00). Talked a bit and even read quran again there. Off to GI (13:00) to meet up w regen. Walked around. Bought a discounted TBS green tea facial wash. Went back home by TJ (16:00). the bus station is a bit closer now. Arrived home close to maghrib (17:30). hurriedly showered and went to sleep (properly) after tarawih. A good good sleep since i got 9400 steps today and that tired me out lmaooo (bare minimum yall, i know).

26 - woke up still sleepy. Slept again after iftar and woke up at 07:30. Skipped shower and off to RSF lmao. Went to medical record. Walked to the front of RSF originally planning to go to lebak bulus by angkot but i saw none. So i went through mrt instead. Stopped by at kebon jeruk and walked 800 meter (that tireeed me and made me feel parched under the sun) to risma busana for clothes fitting. Took gojek to jembatan gantung (turns out the closer halte to flyover was taman kota). Iftar was chicken noodle and risol and banana and i felt fullll and i slept

27 - today is off day since im alternating with agassi. read quran. watched shadow and bone (with 1,5x speed except for kanej and matthias nina scenes). didnt rly do any magang work except the table asked by dr retha. i feel like usually im operating on 70%. sleeping more doesnt rly add that. i need caffeine or physical activity. before i know it, its close to iftar.

28 - i ((felt)) like i had a decent amount of energy today. shouldve done some work between sahur and leaving the house but i ended up reading vampire knight lmaoooo the scenes had no business bringing so much butterflies. sampling together w agassi. mba ai didnt come in today. after agassi left did some magang work. i also went to RM to ask for more RM to bu dian. took angkot to lebak bulus for the first time. paid 5k. i had no idea which angkot went to lebak bulus and the driver (somehow knowing the right words to say) said “lebak bulus lebak bulus”. didnt read much quran on the way back. i just close my eyes and relaxed. felt kinda low on sugar. watched more shadow and bone on the way back and at home until close to iftar. didnt do anything after tarawih. slept hoping i woke up early (which i did, at 3am. but i slept again)

29 - im supposed to have ample energy but i just stuck around my bed until its time to get ready to go. read some kanej fic lol. I dont rly do anything productive after arriving home

30 - made intern log, magang as usual. Did not go to rm. Finished watching shadow and bone. Rested bcs tomorrow's saturdayyy

I've always wanted to see an AU where Emily joins Max but I don't know how it would work. What incentive would she have and would their alliance actually work or would Max just end up betraying her again in the end? Thoughts?

Hmm... Frankly, this is a bit hard to work around, there's a lot of factors to consider here...

For one, Emily would only make an alliance with Max if their goals ever aligned AND if he didno threaten her family. Doing so has lead him into being put into her hit list, so let's create alternate scenario where he didn't do that.

Aligning their goals is a bit harder. Max's goal is destroying the entirety of Cielis and everything connected to it out of vengeance, or whatever the Elves may desire (since he's loyal to them). Emily's is seeking the power to travel back in time and be with her father again. Neither really desire power to rule over all. These are wildly different goals, but perhaps, Max would make an offer that if she helps him on the long run, she'll be able to achieve what she wants in the process in doing so?

Certainly, Max has no issue double-crossing people when needed. It's hard to say if he's even loyal to anyone at all, except for Layra; even Vigo isn't included, despite them being friends, so perhaps, a smidge of kindness isn't a factor. Emily isn't really the type to backstab people, but if she doesn't get her way, she isn't above using force and hurting others to do so (her attacking Trellis in book 7). Neither of these two trust easily, and despite Emily being the most gullible person in book 4 bar her mother, she doesn't trust that quick either until they've proven themselves.

Also, noteworthy. When they got into the canal, she let Ronin and Pierce slide down first and made Max slide down before her to check if he's lying or not, and is obviously surprised when he did it without hesitation. Unnervingly, it means she didn't bother stopping Ronin OR Pierce from potential danger. This... Says a lot about her.

So... For this to work out, there must be a really, REALLY profound shared experience that would lead them to relating and trusting one another. But as they say, you are what you hate. You hate others because they're similar to you. They may have different pasts, but barely vary one another in the rest of their aspects.

Even then... Such an alliance would likely fall apart. They're both too preoccupied with their own trauma and cope with dangerous ways. They're not only self-destructive, they are also destructive towards other people, especially Max. It's not gonna be a healthy and happy one, either way, not when what they believe is at stake that they prioritize it over their alliance with one another

The only way this could work if there isn't any war at all. In the past, Emily and Max are pretty decent people at heart, and match each other in determination in doing what they believe is right... It's just that the characters prioritize what they desire ovee that, hence, *vaguely waves hands over everything*

Following the end of World War 2, Cole Phelps, a decorated USMC veteran of the Pacific campaign, returns home to Los Angeles, California, to live with his family while taking on work as a patrol officer for the LAPD. After solving a major murder case in 1947, Phelps is promoted to detective and ovee the next six months earns a reputation for solving challenging cases for Traffic and Homicide.

Upon being promoted into Vice, he becomes involved in the investigation into morphine syrettes being sold on the street, stolen from the ship that brought home his former marine unit. Phelps eventually learned that several members of his former unit stole and distributed the stolen morphine, only to be assassinated on the orders of Mickey Cohen, who had controlled the drug trade and had resented the competition.

Phelps' partner in vice and corrupt cop Roy Earle, helps several prominent figures in the city cover up a major scandal by exposing Phelps' adultery before he can further question Courtney Sheldon, a member of Phelps' former unit, over his involvement of the stolen morphine. In exchange, Earle is given a place in a syndicate called the Suburb redevelopment fund (SRF)- a development program that supplies housing for veterans, financially supported by the same people.

Phelps' marriage ends, he is disgraced within the LAPD and is demoted to Arson, where he tasked with investigating a number of suspicious house fires. Despite noting a string connection between them and a housing development that the SRF operates, Phelps is warned off by Earle from pursuing the syndicate and its founder, tycoon developer Leland Monroe. Seeking help to investigate the development, Phelps prompts an old comrade, Jack Kelso, now an investigator for California Fire and Life insurance company, to look into the matter

Kelso quickly discovers that the development is using unsatisfactory building materials, and that his boss Curtis Benson, a member of the SRF, is insuring them dispite this fact. After nearly being killed by Monroe's thugs, Kelso agrees to be an investigator for Leonard Petersen, the Assistant District Attorney, advising him to pursue the SRF. Following a shootout at Monroe's mansion, Kelso learned that the syndicate used a mental patient of Dr. Harlan Fontaine, a member of the SRF, to burn down the homes of holdouts who would not sell to them. Eventually, his patient accidentally killed innocent people in a fire and lost his mind.

After the Patient murders Fontaine and kidnaps Elsa, Phelps discovers that Sheldon stole the morphine to unwittingly find the SRF, only to be then murdered by Fontaine, who had misled Sheldon about his intentions for the stolen morphine. Through a newspaper cutting, Phelps discovers the syndicate was merely a front to defraud the US Federal Government—Monroe acquired land with money invested by the syndicate, building matchstick houses on them to increase their value, knowing the government would later purchase the plots for a new freeway.

Kelso later discovers Fontaine's patient was IRA Hogeboom, a flamethrower operator from Phelps' unit who was traumatised after burning out a cave in Phelps' orders, only to find that the cave was a makeshift hospital full on civilians; Hogeboom took Elsa into the Los Angeles river Tunnels. Phelps and Kelso pursue Hogeboom, fighting through corrupt police officers and thugs, as a heavy rainfall begins. The pair rescue Elsa, and Kelso kill Hogeboom to end his suffering. As the water rises, Phelps sacrifices his life to save the group.

L.A. Noire was actually my main inspiration, besides the Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, to do a video game concept. Granted, lots of the things that inspired me, such as gameplay mechanics, environments and story telling, I won't be able to recreate or use due to the limited amount of time of the project and my developmental skills, but it doesn't stop me from using them as part of the context I'm using for my actual outcomes.

So, talking about the aspects of L.A Noire that I would adopt into my own game if I were able to actually create it, the first thing I would impliment would be the mechanics that revolve around solving crimes, such as the interrogations as well as the collection and handling of evidence. In the game itself, when you enter a crime scene, you are able to handle and example key pieces of evidence that drive the case forward and whilst examining the evidence you can find hidden details that will further aid you in solving the case. Whilst interviewing and interrogating witnesses and suspects, you must question them about the evidence you have found and by looking at their facial expressions, you must decide whether they are lying and you must give them the appropriate conversational response.

I think these mechanics would be rather interesting in the context of a private investigator looking for a evidence about a hidden cult and then being able to interrogate their members about the cults actions. Granted, it wouldn't be the first open world game to have this ability examine objects in the environment, but in most games it is used it's a rather hollow and 2D feature which doesn't do much other than to act as a way to view a collectable, in my game I'd want it to be a way of progressing the story, make the objects and the mechanic itself have meaning, not unlike L.A Noire, but maybe with aa bit more deptj. This video game mechanic is such a great tool for story telling and I'd really want to take advantage of it given the chance.

To make this post more relative to my actual final outcome, I want to take a quick look at the weapons used within the game, because I've created a couple of weapon models that would be within the conceptual game of my Final Major Project.

First off, all of the firearms within the game were chosen and designed from real life weapons that would exist and be in used at the time the game is based in. They were also chosen because of their accessibility to the LAPD police officers, so most of the weapons are either semi-automatic rifles, low calibre automatic firearms, and the majority of the weapons are simple handguns, which are still commonly used by American police officers today.

Due to the clearly deliberate choice of the weapons in the game, the concept designers must have done extensive research on what police officers of the time would have, this is proven by aforementioned type of firearms, as well as where they were made, because of the fire arm models within the game are/were produced in the United states.

Attention of detail isn't exclusive to the firearms, its within every aspect of the video games visuals to make sure the player is immersed in the time period, everything is designed within the style of that period. In L.A. Noire specifically, everything is designed to look like the 40's, from the buildings, to the cars, to clothing the characters wear.

I am a girl going to a nerdy convention. It's not entirely clear what it's for, but it's a big thing with a looot of people attending.

Among the first things I do is get a hotel room, which I am lucky to get at least not super expensive just next to the building where the convention people are collecting. I hadn't gotten one before that because I had thought I would be able to go home, but my friend with the car ditched me and I get stuck there.

So I go to the building where people had collected earlier, and it's almost completely empty. There's like a screen projected with a dance game, they play some kpop music and there WAS a celebrity there which had held a very short meet and greet before leaving. Other than that they had had a "welcome ceremony" in this building but that was it. It was very underwhelming.

Other than that though the convention had more things happening in walking distance - some sorts of carousels and this strange flow of stuff which is like a luck-fishing-pond where people further up were putting things in the stream and people further down went up to the stream and got whatever they happened to "land" on. Some could get nice things like handmade figurines, others would get silly stuff like five rolls of toilet paper or a bad drawing. It was very random what you'd get, but everything was created in this little artists room where you could go, that looked like stairs with different levels and the stream at the bottom. And that's where I went, and there was some amazing artists there - however, because I wasn't really "part of any group" I felt awkward and left out so I went to the side, where the stream was heading, and kinda hid behind some pillars. From there I had a good view of everything that was sent out and could amuse myself by looking at it without feeling like an intruder.

Soonish I am joined by this lil group of friends, and we spend quite a lot of time there together. One of the guys and I hit it off and he tells me he had this huge crush on his best friend. Then I get a signed love letter that says they liked their best friend for a long time but they thought I was pretty cool too so maybe we could go on a date and see how it went. Problem is though I don't know a single one of these guy's names, so I ask guy #1 if he knows who (name) is and shows him the note. Oops, it's his best friend who sits next to us, who now pretty much dies from embarrasment. I apologize over and over, but also, how lucky because they both like each other??!? And it takes some convincing the guy that it's the truth and that guy #1 had even said so to me but then they lives happily ever after or something.

Suddenly a flood of all these super expensive pens (that were also the ones people used to create their "gifts" or w/e) comes in the water, and something was definitely up so I go back around the pillars to the stairs, and now they're filled with people angrily throwing pens over the edge as very low budget security guards tries to stop them.

Since these pens are super expensive I pocket some, well whatever I can reach really. I find out more about this protest which is people are angry about this terrible convention, thst had charged a lot of money for stuff that was really worth nothing.

The "board" are making a goodbye speech, not mentioning what had happened. They're three people, all of which are dressed expensively and looks like they're looking down on everyone else. One is a taller, hook-nosed brown girl which I find incredibly attractive. One is a "pretty" guy; well styled in that way that says he's probably gay and also mean about it because he's too well off and good looking to deal with the trash (you). Third girl looks just like Nicola for some reason.

Suddenly "the protestors" shows up with a megaphone, talking ovee them. Unfortunately the person with the megaphone is really nervous and not very good at making a convincing talk, so it sounds more like childish accusations. After staying out of it for a while, while the pdotestor just makes themselves sound worse and worse, I finally ask if I can speak. I am given the megaphone and I introduce myself. I then bring up the building, which people had paid extra to access, but had nothing in it. The board protests and says that there was also k-pop music playing, which was like. -_-

I go back to my hotel room because I need to pack my things and check out. Back there though I accidentally find out the board members had also stayed at the same hotel, and they had some kind of paid deal with the hotel - which explains why they had "tricked" people there. They recognize me too though, and they are really angry. They try to break into my room. I manage to get out through a window.

And thus begins the chase as I honestly just try to get back home. I can fly, fast, and I do instead of taking a car or something. The council follows me on motorbikes.

It's the house of her rich father.

The thing that had given me power to begin with, this worm-like parasite that were eating my soul in return for a wish. I am dying as my soul is drained. I had willingly been the host. Not so sure about this guy though, had he known what it actually meant.

Hi it's me.

You don't know me. That's okay.

I wanna say a few words regarding what my life is like and who I am.

I like Fantasy. Not as in a book genre. More like as a part of my life. I always loved to dream myself away into other worlds. Books, Movies, Games the whole thing. My newest and by now most importend hobby is DnD, Dungeons and Dragons. I like to be a Dungeon Master and breath life into the stories I create.

Life as a dreamer wasn't always easy. I was pretty wierd in my childhood and probably still am and that's okay. But it had some consequenses, me being a little outcast was one of them. That left some scars ovee the years. Today I write poetry when I want to express myself. I helps to work out things that are on my mind. I got the expression writing when I'm down helps me the most and brings out the best poems. I would like to consider myself to be intelligent. It's something I don't like to say out loud because I don't want to seem like a douche, but it's something I am proud of. In the last two years I've gone through some changes regarding my personal Development and I started thinking more and more about life. Who am I? Who do I wanna be? What do I wanna do? It’s finally the end of the drought and I am back! It has been too long since I last updated here but I have finally managed to organise my time and here I am! Apologies for the wait.

As it slowly coming closer to Summer, the weather in the UK seems to be slowly getting better. Of course there are still those days where you wake up and all you see is a grey sky and wet streets, but now i’d say the split is now 50-50, so i’ll take it. As the temperature slowly rises, the need for layers slowly decreases – which is why I love the warmth. If you personally know me, you’ll know that I get a lot of my inspiration – be it fashion or design projects – from Asian culture. The main reasoning behind this is I see Asian as being ahead of the times, the creators of trends. Whenever I see images of people from countires of this part of the world they seem fearless, experimental, crazy with their fashion… and I love it! Living where I am now , if you walk down the streets you’ll see everyone dressed in different variations of pretty much the exacts same thing: mainstream fashion. I have never been into all that as I believe fashion is a major way for people to express themselves, so dressing the same as everyone else just to seemingly fit in doesn’t make any sense to me.

My outfit is actually quite colourful – which is rare – but as the sun is coming out, the need for complete black outfits seems to be diminishing. I have paired a pair of baggy ripped jeans with a pair fishnet tights just to create a bit of edge in my outfit, and ‘jazz up’ what would be just a basic pair of blue jeans. The top that I’m wearing is fairly simple, with blue and red shapes and the words “Fuck Humanity” written ovee the top in Japanese. To make the outfit less basic and casual, I have also added a red beret to the look – just to create a bit of uniqueness to the outfit, and then to finish it all off I have added a basic pair of white platform trainers.
