The new helluva boss episode just come out and it's so fun. Beelzebub is great, the way it deepened Luna's character is great and we really got to see her bond with Blitzo.

I also noticed some few things about Beelzebub in general.

1) Contrarly to the previous prince that we saw, Asmodeus who doesnt look like a succubus and is much more closer to his biblical counterparts appearance wise, Bee surprisingly looks like a normal hellhound.

Look at her!!! if you ignore the wings, the hair and the extra arms, she almost look like a normal helllhound !!! Wich brings me to my next point.

2) she also seems much closer to the general populace than Asmodeus and other high-ranking demons.

She throws a big party where she invites hell's lower caste citizens and makes sure they are having fun. She literally makes food for them to enjoy. She even worries for Blitzo when he gets too drunk.

It makes me think a bit and I ended up with a mini Theory

Princes are high-ranking demons so they definitely have shape-shifting powers and maybe they can choose what they look like. Maybe Beelzebub looks so much like a hellhound because she makes a conscious choice to resemble them to bond better with her people.

if so it's a nice change of pace from the standard depiction of elite who don't care or even despise their own people. Brings a nice change of pace.

Absolutely love the idea that it was April who got the boys super into snow days.

Like, pre-April, they probably would view the days as miserable, since as turtles they’re likely more susceptible to the cold and back then they probably had much less to keep warm with.

The cold altogether was just never good to them - and then April comes around and teaches them how to make a snowman. And when it’s done, she pelts them with snowballs. And suddenly, the cold is now fun, and they might still be shivering, but now they’re smiling too.

I made a lmk oc

#they’re supposed to be some sort of experiment to see if people could recreate Sun Wukongs stone egg. the goal was to make a more controlled #and tame version using carved wood and cultivation. but eventually they got worried about it becoming too powerful and scrapped it #eventually they come to life and live in the abandoned temple they were built in #their bottom half is made of wood because when they came to life their creator/s left them unfinished when they scrapped the project #they had to carve the rest of their body out of hunger and frustration because they couldn’t eat or move much by crawling on their top half #this is also why they spite their creators and hate irresponsible creation. because of abandonment issues and feeling like they have no #purpose or direction in life #their power is also very limited to due being man made since they were originally a wood carving #meo gave me the idea but one reason would be because they’re half finished. the sculpture was still half stump so it was completely untouche #that half can channel power in its raw form but the other half cannot once it’s been carved by man #so technically they could have the same level or potential for power as the stone but that was dampened #the other thing is how they were created to be a duplicate or recreation of a stone monkey and a celestial looked at that and was like #‘we’re not doing that again�� LMAO #i think the case of them carving their own legs doesn’t take away their power though. that balance was made #before they came to life so carving the legs or not can’t affect it anymore. like making a cake and slicing it #their energy levels are also naturally low because of that so their movements are sluggish and they aren’t very active overall #constantly lying in the sun to charge their batteries and get some stuff done. just like me fr #I actually don’t know what I’m gonna do with this character besides Put Them In Situations with other ppls ocs.. so if you have #a lmk oc you have been warned /lh /j #I wanna make some backstory art for them though.. maybe even the animatic treatment if I can get through dear wormwood which is 25 #SECONDS OUT OF 3 MIN BTW #doodles #Lego Monkie kid #lmk #Monkie kid #lmk oc #monkie kid oc #myart #my art #xin ya

I've been wondering about something about Wally's "Warlock staff"....

What the heck is that? A crystal of some kind?? (I've been wondering for so long with the project I'm working on)

that would be a crystal - and a conduit for Home's power! Wally uses it to channel and utilize the magic Home gives him. technically he can cast without it, but casting without a "lightning rod" makes the magic undiluted when used - which is rarely a good thing when your power comes from a demon!

#to the Neighborhood's knowledge wally cannot cast without it #and well. in a way he can't #but the crystal is a nice cap on home's deep well of dark magic #and it lends to wally's wizard facade! makes it more Convincing! #but yeah casting without it also takes a lot more energy and is difficult to do overall #so it's reaalllly unsustainable to just - for a lack of better term - rawdog it #also unfortunately in creating the crystal for wally #home had to tie its magic to it #so if the crystal breaks that would Seriously weaken home and hurt him #its still better than no conduit at all! #and wally takes very good care of the crystal #the staff rarely strays far from his side #rambles from the bog #wh fantasy au #so home has two ties to the mortal realm #wally's choker & the crystal #if both the choker and crystal are destroyed #depending on several factors home will either be Killed or just banished back to their own realm #until it can rebuild his power - which can take thousands of years to get to a point where home can reconnect with the mortal plane #wally and home's situation is very precarious! they need to protect each other or they'll both be Royally Fucked #tldr: home's magic channels through the crystal so that wally can cast spells safely #ALSO YIPPEE CANT WAIT TO SEE MORE OF YOUR PROJECT I HAVENT CHECKED IN IN A HOT SECOND ILL GO DO THAT NOW
