LEO CURSED?!?! I actually had to replay that moment three times just to make sure I heard him correctly, but it’s true future Leo swore.

Future Mikey dying on screen 😭

It’s sad we didn’t get to see what future Donnie Raph and April look like.

I love the father-son dynamic between Casey and future Leo 💚

So are they not going to acknowledge the weird chemicals April stole from her college, because they don’t really explain what it is, why her college had it, what they were doing with it, and how it affected the Kraang.

Casey’s hockey stick is so cool.

Raph didn’t get a lot of screen time which was kinda disappointing but understandable as to why. His half Kraang design was really cool.

Leo didn’t get the window treatment sadly. Oh well. Another time…

Donnie being a softshell turtle getting acknowledged multiple times! I actually had a heart attack every time Donnie had his shell exposed.

Donnie becoming one with the technodrome, that was so badass and I loved it.

Overall Leo had such amazing character development in this movie!! He definitely earned the title of leader and greatest ninja of all time!

say what you want about kung fu panda 4 but the fact that po has two dads is incredible and it made me feel so seen and understood. so i can't even imagine the joy little kids must feel when seeing a family dynamic that's similar to their own.

Watched Mutant Mayhem! It's pretty good, didn't re-write my brain chemistry or anything, but it does some novel stuff that I thought was interesting.

My only advice is to not watch it in 3D, lmao, it actively detracts from the experience

Finally got around to finishing Netflix's ATLA adaptation. I have a LOT of notes, but I think the biggest one is this:

At the end of Season 1 of the original, Aang had at least started learning waterbending alongside Katara, and a little bit of Firebending with Jeong Jeong. Outside of the Avatar State, he had at least started 3/4 elements.

By the same point in NATLA, he's only at 1/4. I don't think this kid has bent a single drop of water. So far he is just a *really* good airbender who can do some spirit world stuff. That should give you a good idea as to why I have a few issues with it.

#THEY COMPLETELY REMOVED AANG LEARNING WITH KATARA ON THE WAY TO THE NORTH #LIKE I UNDERSTAND REMOVING THE BRIEF FIREBENDING EARLY ON TO SOME DEGREE #BUT THE TWO OF THEM LEARNING WATERBENDING TOGETHER WAS PRETTY IMPORTANT #I have a whole lot of other nitpicks like how they kept sprinkling in moments with Azula that didn't add much of anything #and how all of season one of natla didn't seem to establish her as well as the very first episode she was in from season two did #but this is just the biggest thing I have at the moment #atla #avatar the last airbender #netflix atla #natla #natla spoilers #netflix avatar the last airbender #cryptid says stuff #OH DON'T EVEN GET ME *STARTED* ON WHAT THEY DID TO BUMI HE FELT LIKE A DIFFERENT CHARACTER #overall it is better then the movie did by a HUGE margin and they got the main character's name right so thats something #there were definitely things about it I liked and places where there was clearly love put into it but also places that were not done great #there were changes they could have done better and changes that shouldn't have been made #and I think most of the problems I have comes from the 'could have done better' category and overall it wasn't THAT bad

Have you seen the Miraculous Ladybug movie? If yes, what did you think of it?

I have indeed seen it and honestly, I thought it did a better job at telling a concise and clear story then the show has in five seasons lol. The show wastes a lot of time on all the will they won’t they stuff and I was pleased the movie kept that to a minimum.

My main thoughts when I first watched it were as followed:

•the quantity of songs probably could have been cut down slightly since a lot were very similar

•I’m so glad they gave Hawkmoth a villain song it’s very fun (and it’s good they explained his motivation early on)

•Why movie Mime kinda hot tho?

But my absolute favourite part is when they put a magazine cover of Guitar Villain that just has the word prison written all over it and also calls him sexy

#in the same scene is another magazine with bubbler which is the only akuma from the class in the movie #I really want to know if his akuatization was for the same reason #but yeah I so did not expect them to call Guitar Villain sexy it caught me so off gaurd #and they just used screen shots from the show for those two lol like they did not get new models for the movie style #it’s great #and yeah every scene with Mime is an A+ #he’s great in every ideration of the show #and I’m pretty sure he’s the only akuma to be in every version (the pv #the show and the movie) #Mime is just built different I guess lol #but yeah I overall liked the movie! #miraculous ladybug #miraculous awakening #akumas #guitar villain #jagged stone

Listening to the score for Princess Mononoke rn. For some reason I don't listen to this score as often as I do, say, the ones for Castle in the Sky, Nausicaä, and Porco Rosso, and friends that is a shame bc this score in isolation is blowing my tits clean off

I looked at the songs for the new Mean Girls musical movie and.. why did they leave out all the songs that show Cady's feelings or emotional development?? Like... It Roars? More is better? Do this thing?? These are some of my favorite songs!!

Also I saw that they made a new song that probably replaced It Roars but I listened to it and.. it's really not the same (in a negative way)

I also heard the new version of Stupid With Love and I am so sorry, I'm totally fine if they decide to make changes to the songs but this is just. No. Because this version of the song is so not Cady. She is this little weirdo who for the first time falls in love and has such big emotions and doesn't really know how to handle them but also this crush makes her really happy and the new version just smashes that into tiny pieces and glues them back together with a weird rythm and music that is supposed to be slow and romangic but just really doesn't fit with the lyrics at all. Like I'm sorry but you can't say calcu-lust like that. You just can't

Both of these songs on the new album lack the absolute extatic excitedness Cady has for a lot of the musical which are a big part of what makes her a really lovable character in my opinion and they're also just all around very fun songs!! So to take that away and Also take away two other songs that show her inner world just makes me kinda sad :(

I feel like I'm insane when I see the thoughts the RGU fandom at large has about Adolescence of Utena. "It's a canon sequel to the show" no the fuck it isn't. "Why does Utena turn into a car" that's literally the most comprehensible part of the movie??
