it’s too bad that people dismiss overlord as “just another trapped-in-an-MMO isekai, except this time the main character is the bad guy”
overlord is more like
one morning you wake up in a strange world in the body of the character you rp as. You feel confused but in about two minutes decide that this is way better than the real world and you wouldn’t mind staying like that forever
your friends’ loyal OCs who were also transported to the world with you see you as some kind of infallible God-ruler whose master plan spans 10000 years into the future
intimidated by their devotion, you try to act the part of a powerful and wise leader despite the fact that your only knowledge of the subject comes from movies and vague recollections of what your bosses do at work
by some bizarre luck your completely BS’ed plans end in overwhelming success, causing their awe and expectations of you to increase thousandfold
you roll around in bed and cry from stress despite being a 3m tall skeleton

If Rescue Bots ever had Decepticons
Ok: Two new really stupid Decepticons that go around causing mishaps and accidents around Griffon Rock, but their basically harmless.
A problem, but manageable: A minor Decepticon that would cause accidents and would actually fight the bots, but is still easily defeated.
Bad Times for Eveyone: Starscream, Soundwave, or some other major Decepticon.
Worst Possible Outcome: Megatron/Megatronus
OH MY GOD THEIR FUCKING DEAD: The DJD/Overlord

Classes of MEKA, Analysis
D.MON: On a surprising note, Beast uses a hard light shield instead of the defensive matrix D.Va uses. Even more important its a personal shield, so she doesn’t use it to protect her allies, the design is also way bulkier than any other MEKA. It’s pretty safe to say that D.Mon is the tank of MEKA. Most noticeable on her design is the extra plating on the legs and center chest, also the added weight appears to require more thrusters on feet and back to properly fly.
OVERLORD: Mastermind has a very, very interesting design. Two claws/hands for unknown purpose and a single cannon on the nose, he is accompanied by (at least) 4 smaller drones. If I had to predict his role that would be a literal overlord for the team with the drones as cameras and distractions, informing the team of changes on the battlefield; he doesn’t look like he would be in the thick of battle with such fragile looking rotor blades, most likely used to hover more than flying fast.
KING: Singijeon's design screams glass-cannon. A slim design, dual hand cannons, and two very big missile launchers. He is far from the action, unleashing on the omnic threat with Tokki and Beast in the front. Not really much more to say.
CASINO: Another design that screams its role, being fast, very fast. La Princesse Sereine looks like a jet and probably flies like one. Also the one that makes the least sense as leaves the legs of the pilot completely exposed. Mastermind in contrast has a great cover under itself to protect Overlord. He looks like it would be an annoyance for the omnics, constantly flying in and out in hit-and-run maneuvers.
D.VA: Considering how much of a tank she is in-game it will be weird that she isn’t the tank of the team, but she is... and isn’t. Tokki is in the halfway point of Singijeon, La Princesse and Beast... whereas they specialize on their classes, Tokki is the bard of the team, burrowing a little bit of everyone. Smaller missiles than Singijeon, less bulkier than Beast (but with the addition of the D. Matrix), and less fast-looking than La Princesse. Probably switches her role to support as Overlord or herself sees fit.
Edited: Added MEKA’s canon names.
D.Va’s Tokki - Casino’s La Princesse Sereine - D.Mon’s Beast - King’s Singijeon - Overlord’s Mastermind
